My husband and I stumbled upon Bacca di Brera while exploring the lively and colorful Brera district — and it turned out to be one of our favorite evenings in Milan! The atmosphere was simply electric — vibrant music, cheerful chatter, and the unmistakable energy of the neighborhood set the perfect backdrop for a relaxed night out. We started with classic Negroni and Aperol Spritz, both beautifully balanced and refreshing. For dinner, the ricotta ravioli was delicate and full of flavor, while the spaghetti with clams was fresh, perfectly cooked, and bursting with that authentic Italian simplicity. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, even though they spoke little English — smiles, gestures, and laughter made communication effortless. The owner was absolutely delightful, personally checking in on guests and sharing warm conversations that made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for great food, wonderful vibes, and genuine Italian hospitality, Bacca di Brera is a must-visit. Can’t wait to return on our next trip to Milan! 🇮🇹✨

I brought a group of 15 people with advance notice. The owner and manager worked with me to select a choice of items for each course that gave a wide variety of tastes. The hospitality was as if we were in someone’s home; we were thoughtfully seated in a semi private area. Wait staff are very friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Kudos to Walid especially. The owner Samir and his mother and manager Yoka pay attention to every detail and made us feel so welcome. A truly memorable meal and experience.

Fantastic experience, food was amazing. I got the risotto Milano, and the veal schnitzel. Both were fantastic. Service was very good, our waiter didn’t speak much English, however he was still great and it shouldn’t be expected a waiter in Italy speak English. Definitely the best place for food we have been to in Milan so far Also we got an additional free flight of limoncello (ordered 6, got 6 more for free) which really heightened the experience 😁

The t-bone steak was delicious. It could have been seasoned a bit but maybe that’s just their style… I didn’t mind putting salt on by myself. The atmosphere is exactly what you’d want from an Italian city - a table set outside on a narrow street with people walking by.

We visited Milan for a week and on our first night we came across this lovely restaurant. We fell in love with the food, area, atmosphere and visited again and again. The staff were very friendly and smiling. Nino was always happy to see us and get as a table. We would highly recommend this restaurant for proper Italian food. Will definitely return when we are visiting Milan next.

Had such a great time here I kept going back. I even got to meet the owners while there, they’re amazing people. Overall a beautiful restaurant with great food served by lovely people incredibly close to the city center. Had a great dinner before a short walk to the Duomo multiple times while I was in Milan.

What a nice restaurant. Located in the heart of Milan’s Brera district. You can sit outside on the charming street and in the middle of the vibrant arts scene for a fabulous meal and some great people watching. This elegant venue offers a blend of traditional Italian cuisine with a modern touch. Service was top notch. All in all a wonderful experience.

Posizione strategica perché vicino alla pinacoteca, in una giornata di sole come oggi ci si gode anche la giornata. Abbiamo mangiato un ottimo risotto alla milanese, gentilissima la cameriera. Lo consiglio caldamente 😋

Ho provato questo delizioso ristorante durante un mio soggiorno a Milano. Molto gradevole e accogliente l'arredamento, il sevizio è stato professionale, forse anche troppo. Degna di nota la cucina, da me molto apprezzata.

Food was good. Pizza was okay yet pasta was really good and made fresh. The atmosphere was beautiful in a very nice place. The service was nice but they do not speak English very well.

Food: We had the Bolognese, Lasagne and Carbonara. The carbonara was unfortunately not creamy. The egg was cooked. All of them were alright but nothing special. The Tiramesu was very soft and not sweet at all. No alcoholic taste and very deep cacao, coffee taste. Really nice. Service: Friendly and professional staff which brought our food really quick >10min. Ambiente: Outdoor seating at a street were no traffic run by. Its fairly quiet and a nice atmosphere. A lot of foot traffic but it doesn’t bother. Just adds to the flair. Price: Food is at a normal price. No overpriced items or products. The Desserts are a bit over the average.

Food was inconsistent. Some dishes like calamari and gnocchi was superb. But the seafood pasta and veal was really disappointing as compared to others we’ve had in italy.

Non era visibile la legenda degli allergeni: comparivano dei numeri sul menù, ma senza alcuna descrizione. Il cameriere ha fornito spiegazioni vaghe e incomplete: per esempio, non sapeva quali verdure ci fossero all’interno del minestrone e ha dichiarato che si trattava di un prodotto di busta surgelato. Prezzo troppo alto in rapporto alla qualità offerta.

Pozdrav, nas petero sjelo je u restoran na objed. Zatim naručeno je dvoje lazanja, njoki sa sirom, pašta s tartufima i pizza crudo. Sve odsim pizze je došlo u skorije vrijeme, ali pizza nije stigla ni nakon što su preostalo četvero već svoje sve do kraja pojeli. S obzirom da su konobari izbacivali hranu za goste koji su došli nakon nas, odmah smo shvatili u čemu je stvar - zaboravili su upotpuniti narudžbu za što nas nitko nije obavijestio ili nam se obratio s riječima isprike. Usluga 0 bodova (odnosno 1 zvjezdica) pogotovo kad se uzme u obziro da uzimaju 3€ za uslugu po osobi (što bi u našem slučaju bio iznos od 15€). Dapače nisu nas ni ljubazno ispratili iz restorana (niti pozdravili), kako bi to priličilo nakon pogreške koja im se dogodila. Svakom se pogreška ovakvog tipa može dogoditi, pogotovo kada je restoran smješten u centru Milana, ali smatram da se svaka pogreška može ispraviti primjerenim postupanjem prema mušteriji (što u ovom slučaju nije bilo). Hrana koju su pojeli preostalo četvero ljudi je bila bezukusna i premala porcija za cijenu koja košta i uslugu koja se pruža. Ne vraćamo se više tu! Ovu recenziju ne bi pisao da su se s obzirom na situaciju prema nema ophodili za to primjeren način. Lp

A terrible place! The pasta tasted like plastic, probably because of the pot in which the penne was cooked. But what shocked me the most was the behavior of the waiter, who started yelling like a madman when I asked him to remake the dish. I do not recommend it.

Very good food. We asked for a table for two inside but were told everything was reserved and only outside seating was available. Shortly after, another couple without a reservation was seated inside after mentioning they would leave a tip, which was disappointing and affected the experience. Service from the two Egyptian gentlemen who welcomed us was excellent. Unfortunately, sitting outside was quite cold, and the heating was mostly concentrated higher up near the gas heaters rather than at table level.

This was the worst carbonara I’ve ever had. The egg turned into scrambled egg, the “bacon” was actually ham and undercooked, it had no flavor at all. The waiter was very nice though! Worst of all we needed to wait for about 35-40 between finishing our started and getting our main dish, even after asking multiple times. Edit: the people were great and they refunded us the carbonara. Overall the personnel is great, but the food is not it.
