Taverna Trastevere è un posto che ti conquista in ogni istante. Dalla cura del locale, in cui si respira un’atmosfera perfettamente bilanciata tra il gusto romantico delle osterie di un tempo e la classe e l’eleganza di un locale ricercato; alla cura delle pietanze. La tradizione viene rispettata, ma con tocchi di modernità e contemporaneità che non alterano, ma piuttosto esaltano il gusto dei piatti tipici romani. Noi abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza davvero straordinaria. Consiglio anche a voi di farlo. Importante segnalare che sono anche molto attenti ai regimi alimentari e, pur non essendo dotati di cucina separata, hanno opzioni senza glutine non solo tra antipasti e secondi ma anche riguardo ai primi piatti.
Sono stata in questo ristorante per una cena di compleanno e mi sono trovata molto bene. Abbiamo cenato nel dehor che è davvero incantevole. Il personale è molto gentile, disponibile ed attento al cliente ed alle sue esigenze. Visto che eravamo in 12 il menù è stato concordato in sede di prenotazione, così come il prezzo. I piatti sono ottimi e presentati con cura. Tornerò sicuramente per provare il menù à la carte.
Che dire… ci sono ristoranti romani che non puoi perdere, poi ci sono ristoranti romani come questo. Ristorante favoloso con un’atmosfera unica, ricercata e piacevole. Piatti fantastici, coinvolgenti e rispettosi della tradizione, bravi 👏🏻. Lo staff chiude a 360’ l’esperienza con delicatezza e passione, grazie Giuseppe per il tuo contributo.
Sono stata a cena con un amico da Taverna Trastevere e devo dire che l’esperienza è valsa ogni euro. La qualità dei piatti è eccellente: dai supplì come antipasto, all’amatriciana con guanciale croccante e un sugo super saporito. A servirci è stato Alex, gentilissimo e davvero bravo nel seguirci per tutta la serata. Per il dolce abbiamo scelto la proposta fuori menù natalizia: una fetta di panettone accompagnata da uno zabaione preparato al momento direttamente al tavolo zabaione davvero delizioso. Torneremo sicuramente!

Nel centro di Milano, come essere a Roma❤️ Locale molto accogliente e personale gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene, forse un filo overpriced. Spaghetti alla carbonara super e animelle fritte che sembravano pop corn🤩 Unico piccolo suggerimento/appunto: mi sarebbe tanto piaciuto sentire come musica di sottofondo in tutto il locale le canzoni romane che invece si sentivano solo ai servizi.
Indimenticabile. Abbiamo cenato per festeggiare il compleanno di mia moglie, cibo buonissimo e servizio impeccabile. Anzi, servizio ineguagliabile! Abbiamo un bimbo di 7 mesi (e una bimba più grande di quasi 4 anni) che quella sera era un po’ agitato; notando la situazione, una cameriera ci ha chiesto (nella cortesia più assoluta) se potesse tenerci il bambino in braccio giusto il tempo di mangiarci il nostro piatto tranquillamente…e così è stato! In nessun ristorante ci era mai capitato di provare un’esperienza simile, nonostante una precedente figlia di 4 anni. Per non parlare della tortina con candela (senza lattosio) fatta su richiesta per l’occasione. In tutto ciò ovviamente, abbiamo mangiato e bevuto divinamente a prezzi accessibili nonostante il ristorante si trovi in centro a Milano. Torneremo sicuramente! Magari senza figli…
Locale romano in zona Moscova comodo alla Metro. Pranzato con un amico a base di specialità romane. Devo promuovere il locale a pieni voti. Servizio attento e professionale, qualità del cibo eccellente e ambiente rilassante per gustarsi un pasto come si deve. Qualità prezzo corretta . Tornerò!
Un ristorante che riesce a portare la vera anima della cucina romana a Milano, con gusto, passione e rispetto per la tradizione. Il servizio è professionale, cortese e attento senza mai risultare invadente. Il personale sa consigliare con competenza, valorizzando al meglio ogni piatto proposto. La carbonara è cremosa e ben bilanciata, Consigliatissimo.
Mi sono trovata super bene, ho rovesciato x sbaglio il bicchiere della mia amica nel suo piatto e nel giro di 2 minuti hanno portato un risotto offerto da loro nell attesa che le rifacessero il piatto. Io non ho MAI assistito ad una gentilezza ed attenzione simile. Chapeau! Grazie tantissimo xe' grazie a questo gesto non ho rovinato la serata alla mia amica. Simpaticissimo e gentilissimo anche a Nicolas vaporidis , é venuto al tavolo x assicurarsi che tutto andasse bene. VI PREGO NON OCCUPATEMI TUTTE LE SERE ALTRIMENTI NON RIESCO A TORNARCI! 😂😂😂😂
Il locale è un bel mix tra moderno, elegante, indistriale e rustico, l'accoglienza da parte dei proprietari Nicolas ed Alessandro nonché del General Manager Alessandro è stata molto calorosa, il servizio di Riccardo è statto sempre molto attento e cordiale e i piatti curati dall'Executive Chef Ivano Paolucci erano tuti eccellenti (piatti della tradizione romana eseguiti a regola d'arte con ottima materia prima). Ho adorato la loro carbonara, ma mi sono piaciuti molto anche il carciofo alla Giudia, le puntarelle con le acciughe del Cantabrico, il supplì, la coda alla vaccinara, i saltimbocca alla romana, le animelle fritte e la meringata al limone... Bravissimi e complimenti... torneremo sicuramente presto! :-)
Nuovo ristorante romano a Milano. Location curata, cucina a vista al piano terreno molto piacevole. Al piano inferiore postazione del pizzaiolo sempre a vista. Sono stata qui a pranzo di domenica: il servizio è stato un po’ lento, personale comunque cordiale, ma a tratti fin troppo amichevole. Secondo me migliorabile il servizio in generale. Le pietanze tutte molto buone e in porzioni piuttosto abbondanti. Abbiamo preso la focaccia con prosciutto crudo e stracciatella, supplì, carbonara e cacio e pepe. Gli antipasti davvero molto buoni! I primi piatti eccellenti con la pasta fatta in casa. Un piacere per il palato. Come dessert ho assaggiato il maritozzo che ho trovato buono, ma non eccezionale. Carta vini con molte etichette rinomate, comunque si trova qualcosa per tutte le tasche. Qualità prezzo adeguato. Consigliato!
Probably the best Italian restaurant I've gone to in the country. The pasta, appetizers, and desserts are divine. Also great wine selection. I can't wait to go back to Milano and eat there again.
We had an amazing experience at Taverna Trastevere in Milan. As a starter, we ordered focaccia with ham and ricotta, which was absolutely delicious. For the main course, we chose pumpkin risotto and pasta in tomato sauce with pork cheeks. The risotto was very good, but unfortunately my pasta was much fattier than I expected. Because of that, I couldn’t finish the dish, even though the sauce itself tasted great. Most likely, it just wasn’t the best choice for a main course. For dessert, we tried traditional Roman buns with cream. They were very simple, yet incredibly delicious 😍 Overall, the experience at this restaurant was fantastic. The atmosphere and service were excellent, and the open kitchen—where dishes are prepared right in front of the guests—adds a special touch. Definitely a great place to visit in Milan.
It was our fist time and Alex served and entertained us tonight. We had something really special tonight which was the white truffle pasta (truffles from Alba). The food was excellent and spot on and we recommend this place to anyone who enjoys good Italian cuisine. Breads were homemade and amazing and dessert extremely good
The best dining experience we’ve experienced so far in Italy. We’ve dined in several places and they have been great but then our hotel recommended this place and what a mind blowing experience. The chef(s) really know how to combine the flavors and make dishes come together. Alex, our waiter and the rest of the staff, were absolutely amazing. The service was top notch, which made the experience even better. Highly recommended it! Stay away from restaurants at the Duomo.
Unbelievable food! I had tripa roma which was out of this world amazing! Our server maybe Maria was pleasant and helpful. we had wonderful wine Bibi Graetz Soffocone di Vincigliata and amazing tripa roma and Cappellacci Gambero Rosso. Blew us away at how great these dishes were. Highly recommend!
We arrived without reservation on Friday night and luckily got a table for two. Sat downstairs. The atmosphere was very romantic and service was excellent. Would highly recommend to reserve in advance to avoid disappointment. The grilled octopus was exceptional. A diverse menu. Fruit panettone rounded off a lovely meal.

Incredible. Staff was amazing. Owners came over and we had a couple of laughs..... Apparently my wife's relatives were in the night before. Small world. Everything about our dining experience was memorable in the most positive way.... When in Milan, a must.
Excellent service and fantastic food. Staff were all very friendly and knowledgeable. We had 2 starters as well as pastas and desserts, all paired with a great wine selection. All dishes were full of flavour, well presented and great portion sizes! The restaurant overall has a very vibrant and relaxed atmosphere. Will definitely be back for another great meal!
During my two-week tour across Italy this summer, no restaurant came close to matching Taverna Trastevere in Milan. From food quality and flavor to portion size, ambiance, and service — it was simply outstanding. The service is impeccable, and the open kitchen offers a fascinating view into the team’s craftsmanship. Every dish is perfectly prepared, and unlike many places, the portions are generous. The staff is highly professional and makes you feel truly valued. Conveniently located in Milan’s best neighborhood, Brera — right across from the Urban Hive Hotel — the restaurant also boasts a spacious layout, with a charming outdoor courtyard and an additional dining room on the lower level.
An authentic Roman restaurant in the middle of Brera, the venue is lovely, cosy and homey. The staff was very welcoming, friendly and we had a lot of banter. The wines and drinks were perfectly matching the food. The food choices from appetizers till the very end the desserts were delicious. Carciofi, carbonara, 5 pomodori and more! The best restaurant I've been in Milan at a reasonable price. One of the best restaurants I have been to in Italy, which I have been visiting for 25 years. Excellent pastas. Greatly prepared tomato sauce for small octopus. Seafood in the next dish was perfectly balanced with lemon juice. Very reasonable prices for good wines matched to the dishes. Taverna atmosphere perfectly suited to the climate of Italy. The photos I'm posting were taken in low light so they don't convey the full atmosphere of the place and the dishes. I'm going to Milan again in July and this will definitely be my place for future dinners.
The food at this Roman restaurant was exceptional, and the service was flawless. Despite the restaurant's chic, casual atmosphere and our informal attire, we were treated with the utmost respect. To top it off, the manager surprised us with complimentary sweet liqueur shots at the end of our meal. Thank you for an unforgettable evening!

Cena di San Valentino molto piacevole. Il menù è forse un po’ turistico, con una proposta che fonde cucina romana e grandi classici italiani — cosa che, inevitabilmente, si riflette anche nel conto finale. Il cibo però è molto buono: menzione speciale per la focaccia con acciughe, burrata, salume e puntarelle, davvero riuscita.
Ambiente spettacolare e staff altrettanto. L’unica pecca sono stati gli antipasti e le costine d’agnello per le porzioni un po’ scarse e per i prezzi abbastanza alti. Per il resto, nel complesso tutto molto buono. P.s. Vi consiglio la loro carbonara 😋

Seconda volta che torniamo in questo ristorante ed è sempre una garanzia. Cibo impeccabile e la ciliegina sulla torta è stato un servizio elegante ma allo stesso tempo molto conviviale grazie a tutto lo staff e soprattutto ad Alex che si è dimostrato un ospite eccezionale e che ci ha messi immediatamente a nostro agio. Ristorante non all’altezza delle aspettative,SONO ROMANO e conosco bene questo tipo di cucina. La pasta precotta ormai non la danno nemmeno più all’autogrill. Prezzi esagerati per quello che si mangia. Il locale è bello e il servizio buono.
I came for Sunday lunch and was seated right away. The restaurant filled while I was dining. This isn’t a tourist place. I went with my server Nora’s pasta recommendation, the rigatoni amatriciana (tomato-based, spicy pork cheek). I enjoyed it, not too fatty. For dessert, I ordered the chocolate semifreddo. You won’t want to rush it. I enjoyed it while sipping over two different Amaros (yes, it’s quite rich and you’ll need something to wash it down.) I took my time and never felt rushed, as a solo person, as an English-speaking American, and as a woman. Thank you sincerely for the hospitality. —- I downgraded my 5 rating to a 2 because I got sick four hours later, not eating or drinking anything else. I saw another reviewer state she also got sick. I think in my case this is due to the pork. They have their own pastry chef, who did a really good job, and that’s only reason why I’m not giving a 1. Food cleanliness is a basic need.
I really don’t like writing negative reviews. Over 95% of my reviews are positive, but I don’t want others to waste their hard earned money here when there are so many other amazing restaurants you could go to with far better service and food. I would like to start with the fact our family has been raised to smile, be respectful and always order with “may I please” and say “thank you” we are a very kind polite family, but we’re not treated that way. As soon as we arrived we were told of about 5 menu options that were not even available. We selected a bottle of wine the server said was unavailable. We tried 2 other options which were also unavailable, as she tried to upsell us to a more expensive bottle. We ordered an appetizer that we witnessed being delivered to other tables with the stated accompanying marinara sauce and bread. The same appetizer was brought to us by the manager without sauce or bread. When we asked for bread the server seemed quite irritated. Once our food was delivered it was sub par at best. Mine was a main that was basically a small meat salad. My husband’s food appeared undercooked and was completely bland. Not a single person checked on us while we were dining and not a single plate was pre-bussed or removed from the table. We watched how other tables were treated and it was obvious, for whatever reason we were treated quite differently and disrespectfully. It was very disappointing. I would not recommend this restaurant and would not eat here again.
