Shout out to the incredibly kind barista who saw us running an outdoor pet vaccine clinic in the parking lot next door, in the pouring rain, and brought us hot drinks. Didn’t catch her name but she deserves a raise!! Great reminder to do something kind for someone else this week!

Always a great stop! Drinks are consistent, the service is quick, and the staff is friendly. Whether I’m grabbing a coffee on the go or hanging out to get some work done, the vibe is welcoming and reliable.
I go to this location several times a week. I'm a teacher and occasionally I buy my favorite students, Strawberry Refreshers. I get the largest size and then ask for several tall cups and then divide it when I get into the school. They never have a problem giving me extra cups and lids. I'm so grateful since some Starbucks act like it's a problem. My students are appreciative and several of them have told me they have never had Starbucks before. So, thanks, Texas City Starbucks!!!
This place is always busy. I walked for mobile pick up and was immediately greeted. I was asked what my name was and was told my order status. Everyone that entered was also immediately interacted with and given order status. The girl that was going this was making drinks simultaneously and giving great customer service. The drinks came out perfect! The dogs love the puppachinos
Excellent coffee and service and by far the best Starbucks service I have experienced. The staff are polite, patient and have a great attention to detail! They double nested the hot cappuccino and also wish us happy new year cheerfully. Hopefully the employees will be well rewarded as they very much deserved so.
My sister loves getting an Iced Shaken Espresso, but for some reason this Starbucks location consistently gets it wrong — especially through the drive-thru. On a previous visit, knowing they often mess up the drink, I asked at the drive-thru speaker box if I could pull forward and show how the order is written online to ensure it was made correctly. Instead of listening, the female employee questioned me, insisted I just order from the speaker, and when I pulled forward she already had an attitude. She ended up writing my order on a slip of paper and condescendingly told me, “Next time, order it like this,” as if I were a child. That experience left a bad impression, but I let it go. Fast forward to today — same order, same problem. When I got to the window, my sister’s Iced Shaken Espresso was wrong yet again. I circled back immediately to have it fixed, and instead of apologizing or inviting me to show what was wrong, the employee made me repeat the order back at the speaker box like I had ordered something completely different. She cut me off as I tried to explain my frustration and dismissed me with a quick “Have a good day.” There was no apology, no accountability, and no effort to understand the issue. It feels like customer concerns are brushed off here, and employees can be impatient and dismissive. Loyal customers will eventually go elsewhere if this location doesn’t start taking service seriously. Something needs to change.
Inside has been renovated. No more tables, standing room only in a small lobby with a register. All staff were in the back prep area which now has very limited visibility to the small front lobby. A monitor now shows you your order status and my mobile order was marked as ready but was not in the pickup area. After waiting a bit, I was finally able to flag down someone in the back prep area, they let me know that my drink was in fact not ready. I looked at merchandise while I waited, which is now located behind the register that is not staffed. When staff finally came from the back with my drink I was told that I now had to have staff assistance to grab any merch which is wild because no staff even came to the lobby the entire time I waited for my drink. These new updates were definitely not for the better... I guess its time to find a new coffee shop.
UNFORTUNATELY STARBUCKS ** NO LONGER BREWS COFFEE ** It's now brewed 1 cup at a time and TASTES AWFUL It smells and taste like chicory coffee. I actually got nauseous from the 2 sips I tried. Don't Take My Word For It Go Try It Yourself.. I went to the Starbucks in Pasadena Texas and also the one in Texas City Texas. Starbucks Will Loose Customers They've Lost Me For Sure
I always order the same drink when I go to a Starbucks and it’s always pretty consistent. Today it was terrible I asked for extra espresso and when I was handed cup I knew it wasn’t correct. It looked like cold brew which I hate. Also looked like I got way less than usual and I ordered a tall so I felt ripped off. I asked the girl if it had extra shot she said yes I can you double check cause this doesn’t look right it looked like it was just all cold foam. She turned around and asked the guy and didn’t re make. When I drove off I realized it wasn’t what I ordered and was cold brew. I didn’t have time to return cause I was headed to work but not the best experience. Wish they would have re made. Here’s a pic to show what received!
I did go to the drive through everyday. Often two times a day. I was getting remarks like “ are you here again? Then she confronted me at the window. I was reprimanded over always ordering the same thing, as well as how many times I ordered! I always left a tip. She told me she would tell me what I should order and I would only order once instead of several. I’m a 71 year old women. I will never grace that drive through again.
EDIT:: Well everything I said I'm in my original review (below) is now null, the completely removed the lobby area and you can't go in and sit and relax, that's the major reason I even buy Starbucks. So I can sit undisturbed and write. Very very VERY disappointing!!! !! ! DON'T EVEN HAVE A BATHROOM!!! I've been to this location several times, the morning crew is spectacular! They've never gotten any of my orders wrong! There have been quite a number of other places on multiple occasions that they just couldn't get past that I didn't want a peppermint mocha coffee, and wanted a peppermint hot chocolate. I've come her to work on my book a few times, then music isn't to loud, the area I sit in is off in a cozy corner, and it jsut smells great in here! When even I come home my husband always tells me how great I smell cause I bring the coffee sent home with me. If you have a choice of places come here.
