Best burger I've ever had. Got the Texas burger. Awesome fries too. Bring your fat guy pants and loosen that belt because the portions are massive.

The owner and staff were awesome. Very friendly. Food was excellent. I had the beef fajitas, my wife had cheese burger no bun. Great place. We seen it on TikTok.

Walking in I was skeptical....Boy does this place surprise. They will make you whatever you want within reason. On the menu or not. The portion sizes are enormous! The food is terrific this place should be on diners, drive-ins and dives. They have a breakfast grand slam plate that could feed a family.

Stopped on our way through to Houston for a quick bite to eat. Was amazed at the amazing food and service! Owner was terrific and food was so delicious. Highly recommend. Do yourself a favor and stop by but make sure your hungry! Portions are HUGE!!!

Took the directions from Google, even when we arrived we almost turned and left. DO NOT SLEEP on this place. Do not let the exterior or the motel deter you from giving this place a try. Food is absolutely wonderful, especially for the size of the plate compared to cost. The husband is the chef, and the wife waits the tables. Service is exceptional, so kind and funny. Once again, the did is wonderful. Probably the best refried beans I've ever had.

Louis is the owner and chef and makes to order your food with years of experience and love and pride. Unbelievable portions and absolutely delicious. Don't just from the outside. Old 50s motel and cafe. Best food I've ever had anywhere. Portion sizes are ridiculously huge. He will make you anything you want if he has the ingredients, it doesn't have to be on the menu. True cooking from scratch.

Louis is a true chef. He stives to impress his customers. He's known for making whatever you want, no matter the challenge. If you're hungry, I recommend the wetback burrito with barbacoa. It's huge. Great conversation with Louis also. Don't let the appearance deter you.

Went here today for a work lunch and was not disappointed. I ordered the carne asada plate(a safe bet for me). The steak(that's what it looked like) was whole and not sliced or looking like ground up pieces of meat was packed with flavor and very tender and juicy. The rice was amazing. I never had rice have this much flavor packed in it let alone the fact I had never eaten red rice before. I will definitely be coming back if/when I am in the area. The chef/owner is very personable and makes you feel like family.

My friend ordered chicken and it was a giant portion. My Hawaiian burger was easily half a pound of beef, covered in grilled onions and jalapeno, sweet grilled pineapple, and cheese, then topped with slices of excellent avocado. The fries were thick cut potato, all fresh and made to order. My friend asked for pico to go with her chicken and we could hear them chopping up the vegetables in the kitchen, just before bringing a bowl of fresh pico de gallo. Big glasses of sweet tea accompanied our meal, and were kept full. This is a great local treasure. Give it a try, you will not leave the table hungry!

The food was absolutely delicious and HUGE!!! It's a hometown little restaurant, ran by a husband and wife and they are very sweet attentive people, ,her husband cooks and he came out if the kitchen to make sure we were enjoying our food and that it was exactly how we wanted it. His wife waited on us and kept our glasses full and made sure we had everything we needed.... My husband and I will definitely be return customers, it was a all around enjoyable and it was refreshing to find people that still take pride in their work!!!!

I had read about this place online somewhere and added it to our road trip. I was very hesitant when we pulled up. It had just snowed and I wasn't even sure it was open plus it's very run down on the outside. But, we drove all this way so, in we went. I can tell you, it was totally worth the stop! My husband ordered a burrito of some sort and it was massive. I ordered huevos rancheros and told him I like spicy. I had the BEST jalapeño hash browns ever. Well, the best hash browns period. It's one of those things years from now where I won't remember the name of the town or even the restaurant, but those hash browns will never be forgotten. My daughter ordered chocolate chip pancakes and what was placed in front of her were the cutest thick, heart shaped pancakes with white chocolate chips. They were SO good! She does prefer milk chocolate chips but she didn't complain. Oh, and did I mention they were green and white? We're eating our leftovers for dinner. ;) This is not a quick in and out so budget your time accordingly but expect fresh delicious food. And feel free to order what you want, you're not constrained by the menu! The owners are very friendly, ready to serve you with a warm smile and a big, Texas sized heart.

When you pull up, you'll do a double take. The restaurant is a stand alone building at an OLD motel. Take the chance and go in. The food is great, the portions are huge, and the prices are really amazing. The gentleman that runs the place and cooks is funny, philosophical, and a great cook.

Went out there but it was overgrown and we couldn’t figure out if they were really open. Not sure where to park or even where the door was located. Turned around and left even though website said open.
