First time visiting, it’s located in the development of Plantation Lakes. The food was excellent and the views were nice. The bar area has several huge tvs, great for football games!! There is a fire pit and several adirondacks chairs outside for seating. We had turkey burger , margarita flat bread and chocolate break with vanilla ice cream dessert. The food was Freshly made and was served with a smile 😊. Loved the experience.
Adorable place. I was blown away by the scallops and the price point. Hidden gem to stop and have lunch before or after a beach trip.
I ordered the mussels for my appetizer, they were quite tasty & cooked properly. For dinner I had the Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich & sweet potato fries. This sandwich is so delicious. A bit messy so be warned ;) I do have to say the sweet potato fries were a big skinnier than I’d usually like, so the texture wasn’t quite there for me. Their standard fries are def great though.
Amazing staff they were so accommodating and so incredibly kind. Our lunch was really tasty. Something to be said for that Southern hospitality!
Stop by for a quick dinner and we were surprised how nice the place is. We sat outside and there was quite a lot of open space and the view was nice. The food was good and service was great. We definitely would come back the next time we are in the area.
First time trying it out. Food was pleasant and chef inspired. We had the burger and the salmon blt. Drinks were good. Great service and atmosphere.
Awesomw Watermelon Salad with grilled shrimp for me and always delish Landing Burger fir hubby. Great staff.
Had a Great " Godfather " Pizza. Unique and Delicious
Wow really great in every way. Very impressed you don't want to miss out on this one.
Just moved to the development with my family a few weeks ago. Last night was our first visit. Food was amazing! The drinks even better! The wait staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Cant wait to go back!
I am picky. I go out rarely. However when I do I expect great service awesome food and a charming ambiance. The Landing gets 5 Stars for all of these. The food was fabulous. Our Server Briana was prompt, attentive, personable and a consummately professional. See you all again soon.
FANTASTIC! Headed here for an early birthday dinner with family. We loved the food and the atmosphere. Everyone's dish was delicious. We had a few picky "wing connoisseurs" at our table and the conensus is that the buffalo wings here are GREAT! Above all...our service was AMAZING...our server Jessica treated us like we were the only people in the restaurant. She is AWESOME! We will be back!!!
Salmon sandwich was excellent, cooked to taste and flavorful. Service was prompt and polite, and the place was quiet when we sat, no issues at all. Wish there was a bit of a larger menu but otherwise no problems. Recommended.
Had lunch with a friend there a couple of days ago. It was wonderful. We both had the crabcake sandwich and it was full of lump crabmeat. Service and atmosphere top notch. I recommend the banana bourbon cake for dessert. I am never disappointed when I dine at The Landing.
The food was delicious and everything you would want and more after and great round of golf. I had the Landing burger and was cooked to perfection and was jucy and full of flavor highly recommend any of their burgers.
Always have had great food and service
This restaurant is tucked away in the development of Plantation Lakes. The food was excellent and the views were nice. The bar area has several huge tvs, great for football games!! There is a fire pit and several adirondacks chairs outside for lounging by the water. Very nice place!
Since the new chef has come in, the menu is AMAZING. I haven’t dined here in years (and I live here) because the food was just ok. If you haven’t been in awhile, the food is amazing and it is a whole new menu.
Great service. Excellent food and drinks. Priced reasonably. Perfect to eat, talk and relax.
The food is good and the customer service is phenomenal. The place is a vibe and I encourage you to check it out.
Located in Plantation Lakes, Millsboro DE, this is easy to get to. Overlooks the golf course. Great place to relax, meet friends and neighbors and enjoy the deck.
We had an excellent experience at The Landing today. The service was excellent, the food was good & served timely. We were greeted delightfully by the hostess and our waitress Arin was exuberant. We’ve been there many times before & will go again.
The new menu is fantastic and the service added to the dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening and will return soon to try other menu options. Whether you are enjoying the ambiance in the bar, the dining room or on the covered deck, you will enjoy and look forward to returning. We are never disappointed.
We had my mother's 90th birthday party here. The entire staff made this a very special occasion. The prices are very reasonable and the food was delish. Overall a great experience.
Great indoor and outdoor seating in a golf course club house. The food was very good. I had the sweet potato hummus and the apple and walnut chicken salad pita sandwich which were both excellent. Service was great too! Prices were very reasonable. The restaurant has a very nice dining room and bar and there is a large outdoor covered deck area for outdoor dining.
It's so nice to just go and watch a game or golf and have a burger and a beer. Staff is excellent and very attentive. The clubhouse is beautiful. It was such a nice change from Grotto or Texas Roadhouse. Much rather go to The Landing.
Our server, Ricardo was amazing with our service. Food was good. Scenery was lovely. The workers here were extremely welcoming.
Service slow. Salad over dressed. French dip sandwich can’t be dipped as roll does not fit into cup. Beautiful facility, big windows, pretty furnishings. Nice vibe when golfers come in and residents greet each other.
We went for dinner last night (6) of us. We were concerned when we were seated and given the new menu effect last night. Disappointed some of our favorites weren’t on the menu anymore. We all ordered new and different items and were SO VERY PLEASED !! EVERYTHING was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully on the plate . Our waitress was new to the Landing Bar and Grill. And she was an absolute delight !,Alyssa ..best waitress ever !! Everyone was very friendly and attentive to our table. We definitely will be back and continue to enjoy new items.
Visit here at least 3-4 times and food and restaurant is lovely. You can sit outside under a roof with a nice view of the golf course. I had the chicken salad on pita which was quite good. I think we usually go for lunch
I went for the Prime Rib night. My husband and I both ordered the Prime Rib. It was served with a baked potato and broccolini. The steak was cooked seas
The atmosphere here was great! Felt very welcoming and nice. The food was also great, I got the chicken wings, fries and onion rings which were fantastic! Quick and friendly service with great attention to detail!
Great experience at this restaurant. Kelvin our waiter was exceptional, very attentive & pleasant. We ordered appetizers which were really good and great portions. Drinks were very good too & they have a great happy hour. It's wonderful to have such a nice restaurant nearby
We did not know about the Sat night Buffet!! Could have been better, but we enjoyed the lively bar area (Band was loud in the large dining room and not seen from our table.)
Beautiful facility great atmosphere and our waitress was wonderful...very disappointed with the Reuben scraps squares of meat none to little sauerkraut and cheese all bread...forget the sliders go for the delicious hamberger much better choice. My husband enjoyed the fish and chips was great best fries ever.
We have been going to this place going off for years. It is constantly changing. Which basically means you never know what you're gonna get when you get in there. This time, we missed happy hour by about ten minutes, so we just got a drink a piece since we were there. I had a rum and ginger rail, and my wife had a gin and tonic. Twenty-one dollars. I can get two drinks cheaper anywhere in Ocean City or at the beach. No wonder the place had no one in it. I'm sorry, but eleven dollars for a drink in millsboro. Come on
We have been here a few times and every time the service has been wonderful. The food is consistently good and menu items change to provide variety. They usually have food and drink specials. The atmosphere is very inviting and in warmer weather they have a wonderful outside dining area. The only reason for the 4 stars is that the prices are a bit high for this area, but it is on a golf course so that is to be expected.
As a new resident, I'm a bit underwhelmed. I have been here three times so far: New Resident Meet & Greet, On the Edge and Bingo. The appetizers at the meet & greet were just OK. The cheesecake was pretty good though. I did have a light bulb above me that was flickering. I pointed it out, and two nights later when I was there, it was fixed so KUDOS for that! During On the Edge, I was extremely disappointed. We were sat quickly, yet it took about 10 minutes to have someone come over to us for a drink order, then almost as long to get a glass on wine. While I understand it was very busy, there were not enough servers. I ordered dessert at 5:47 pm, 10ish minutes later I asked where it was and was told it would be right out. A little after 6pm I asked again, and exactly 20 minutes after I ordered the apple crumb cake it finally came out (it was really good, but not good enough to wait 20 minutes for). I know this because the server brought out the ticket showing the time she entered it. Absolutely ridiculous. Bingo: I had a great time at my very first Bingo ever! The service, eh lacking again. You could go thirsty waiting for a drink ... or your correct order at that. Watching orders, drink or food come out that were incorrect. I ordered the sliders. They were dry and for the price should have come with fries. It was a bit chilly in the room, hoping next month it will be a bit warmer.
The drinks were average, good service but the food was spotty. Good pork chop and mash potatoes. The pretzel bites are frozen from BJs. Flatbread was doughy and soggy. The worst part was the flies. We sat in the indoor dining room and were swarmed as soon as the food came out.
Very very disappointed with their food, especially for the price. Bread for our sandwich today was extremely stale and soaked in so much honey that it was too sweet and thus could not be eaten. The crab and corn chowder soup was good, even though it mainly tasted like bacon. And their caprese salad was the worst I've ever had because only came with 2 pieces of basil and tomatoes were so mushy and bad we couldn't eat them. It was a waste of money and it was the most expensive caprese salad we have paid for.
We just spent 90 minutes with out of town guests from California for the worst meal we have experienced here in three years. I will bypass the long wait for beverages and just jump to the appetizer and meal. 30 minutes for pretzel bites! Then my meal and my granddaughter’s arrived. Three members of our party ordered ribeyes . The first mistake! 20 minutes later theirs arrive unfit to eat. Three $38 dollar meals unfit to eat. If there is no chef on duty do not offer ribeyes! Why did it take 30 extra minutes? The restaurant was empty with the exception of three other tables. Did someone have to go to Food Lion and pick up three terrible ribeyes? We are residents who are done ordering meals. We will join the other residents at the bar eating apps.
1st time was horrible. Salad was wilted. Manager said they make salads in morning and sit in walk-in all day. Chicken and mashed and green beans were served in a bowl for some reason and the chicken 'juice' made everything soggy. Server took card and it was 35 minutes before she returned. (Seriously, 35 minutes). Waited 6 months and went back. Ordered chicken wings to go. Wings were raw and I mean raw. Took them back and hostess was horrified. Gave me a comp for future visit. Waited until summer and tried the back deck burger cookout. It was good.
I once gave this place a 5 star review. My feelings have changed. We did not dine there for a while, and then we heard it was under new management, so we gave them some time to work through the growing pains and went back. The service was HORRIBLE. I am usually very understanding about service, but we had a trainer/trainee duo, and apparently they were not communicating with each other very well, and neither one of them was really taking care of us (they were not working in tandem). So we felt ignored/overlooked the entire evening. I had to keep flagging another server down (who was not our server) for everything we needed. Both of our burgers (ordered med rare) came out well done. Flagged the different server down (because we were not checked on) to send them back. When they finally did come back out, they were perfect. And to top it all off - they reported us as a no-show to Open Table!! Yesterday my husband went there with his friends, and the service was fine but the food was terrible. One burger, ordered med rare, came out well done again, and two club sandwiches came out with white bread which was soggy and barely toasted. His friends said it was the worst club sandwich they had ever had. How can you mess up a club sandwich?? And the food took FOREVER. Landing, you need to get your act together!
I had a horrible experience from start to finish with food and drink. My ravioli was a disaster. Management should be fired. The chef and wait staff were amazing unlike the manager.
We grabbed a carryout order while in town last weekend after hearing that this place had turned around and made many improvements. Upon entering the establishment, there were no greetings from any staff. No hostess at the front of house for at least 10 minutes. (2) burgers and fries ordered to-go; the wait was acceptable if not a bit long. The main issue? My girlfriend and I were very sick the remainder of the evening. I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment after that.
Went for dinner last night. My fish sandwich was a stamped "out of a box" fillet. Horrible. My wife asked for a bacon cheeseburger. The meal came cold, no cheese with orange tomatoes. The meat was comparable to a "bubba burger" for $14.00?! The bar was completely clueless as to how to make a "real" Margarita. I had to tell them the ingredients and they still couldn't make one that we could drink. Absolutely unacceptable dining experience. SoDel concepts (Management Company) is desperately needed to come in and take over the restaurant. The current management at the Landing is unable to deliver a quality, enjoyable dining experience.
Dined on July 28. I live in Plantation Lakes and decided to take my guests out to the restaurant. What a mistake! I was so embarrassed…one of my guests ordered the flank steak with baked potato and green beans. The potato was cold…didn’t even melt the butter and the green beans were so salty they were inedible. Upon complaining the manger offered a new meal to him but it would not have arrived until the other two of us were done with our meals. I honestly expected to see some concession on the bill however none was given. When I asked the manager her only response was that she offered him a new meal and he declined. Not sure I will return…especially if the quality of the food doesn’t get better.
Horrible experience they serve the food tell me to enjoy. No forks or knife or napkins I have to ask for. No catchup or mustard I don’t eat my hamburger. Make a reservation for dinner I expected to be seated at a dining room not by the bar. Customer service with no quality.until I remember today I’m not going back and not recommend that place to nobody
First time there. We got there at 2pm, not crowded. We were greeted by the hostess and seated outside. Waiter was excellent but food was horrible! I ordered the Classic Reuben sandwich and fries. My date ordered margarita pizza. Again, the place was not busy, it took over 40 minutes to get our food. My Reuben was obviously left under a warmer light and was dried out and horrible (no Sauerkraut, dried out bread, and minimal meat) The fries for $12.00 we're good. My dates pizza, was missing a lot. Several pieces had no topping and the mozzarella cheese was not melted. They simply put tomatoes, mozzarella, small pieces of basil and a splash of balsamic glaze on a warm pizza crust. I did not complain because I had already complained about out sweet tea having large foreign matter floating within. The waiter did apologize and said that the tea bags had leaked during the brew process. He attempted to brew another batch, which also had problems. Water for lunch! Never again!
Absolute trash!!!! But I do feel the need to say our server Kayla was very nice but other then her everything was terrible. My wife and I waited 40 minutes for 2 burgers and fries. If the food had been decent the wait would not have been a problem. We both got the plantain burger, the tomato was so over fried it was almost black, the supposed ribeye beef patty was obviously frozen and also black on the outside but somehow still pink in the middle. The pimento cheese was so runny buy the time I took my 2nd bite of the burger there was more on my plate then the burger. But the flavor is what tops it. Man it was like biting into I dried up piece of charcoal it was terrible. We will never eat there again or recommend anyone to eat there.
