Their food was delicious! I had 4 street tacos. 2 chicken.. 2 asada. They were consumed very fast!!

At De Los Altos Grill, located next to the 7-Eleven off Milmont Drive, you'll enjoy a flavorful adventure through authentic Mexican cuisine. As a frequent patron, visiting at least once a week, I can attest to the deliciousness of favorites like the savory Quesadilla Suzia, the irresistible Carne Asada fries, and the hearty plato de sada. And don't forget to treat yourself to their mouthwatering tacos, always bursting with deliciousness. With a menu packed with delectable dishes and a staff of friendly young ladies who make every visit memorable, it's a dining experience I'll continue to come back for.

This place is so good!! They have a deal on Thursdays which is 4 tacos for 5 dollars. So worth it. We got take out from here and even after the 15 minute drive home, the tacos were warm and so much flavor packed into each one. We also ordered the California burrito and shrimp ceviche tostada which we highly recommend. Take out is still available during these times. Worth the trip !

I like this place. The service and the food are great. I got the carne asada plate and it was delicious. My friend got the quesabirrias. These even that they are huge and at very good price we both agreed that we have eaten better birria. It seems like the beef wasn't fully condimented to have the characteristic flavor of birria. Other than this observation this restaurant is a good place to visit.

Great place if you like Mexican food. The lady who works there was very friendly and listened to our conversation during the time she was serving the food. She added without any charge few items that completed our experience such hot peppers and more. Unlike places that show large food pictures in their menu, here the pictures are big but the actual serving is bigger.

Unbeatable price and quality combination. Great food, friendly staff, quick service. Their taco thursdays are an even better deal. I highly recommended grabbing fresh mango juice with some tacos while you're there.

This place offers some fine Mexican food with lots of different things to choose from (over 35 different numbered items!) and they all look equally mouthwatering. I've tried the veggie tacos and the veggie burrito here and they've both been absolutely fantastic, packed with beans, guac, rice, sour cream, everything. They give free chips and salsa and the different flavors of salsa especially have been a hit. Decent amount of seating inside and fairly clean, but don't expect anything too fancy. If you're looking for affordable Mexican food (and not Chipotle) give this place a shot!

Love their fruit juices, especially the watermelon. They have a nice variety of meats and everything I've tried has been good. They even give chips and salsa with to-go orders and give one per entree, which is great for a chip addict like me.

We had such a great experience at De Los Altos Grill! The carne asada plate had a super generous serving — definitely worth it. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. On top of that, our server was incredibly friendly and kind, which made the whole dining experience even better. We felt very welcomed and well taken care of. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!

I thought the prices were pretty high and if you use a card the tip screen pops up with 15% being the lowest option. So here I was about $26 bucks in for a combination chicken plate and I didn't even order a drink. I was pretty sure I was gonna feel ripped off, but I was pleasantly surprised. The plate was hefty, it came with rice, beans, cheese, salsa, guacamole, and a small bag of chips. The chicken was pretty big, thinly sliced and coated with chorizo which was an unexpected bonus. Even though they are pricey, I think I got good value here and the food was better than I was originally expecting. I'd rwcommend this place if you wanna get some better than average mexican food with some extra flavor.

Go with an empty belly or share a dish between two, or you won't be able to finish (I couldn't). You order and prepay at the counter, and go to your table with complimentary Chips and Salsa. Their combo Fajita is amazing. We also tried their Enchilladas, Tacos, and Tamales. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Prices are reasonable when compared to the quantity in each dish. They also serve Beer, Cocktails, Mocktails, and other non-alcoholic beverages. If you are up for a good taste, then you must try, but just know it's a cantina style restaurant, so don't expect a fancy fine dine experience.

I’m a huge fan of this taqueria! Their food is absolutely delicious, and their fresh fruit beverages are to die for. The staff is super friendly and bilingual, which is great if you don’t speak Spanish. And the prices are really reasonable, too. You won’t be disappointed, trust me!

This is the third time I come to this restaurant and I can say their salsa are waayyy better now. I love spicy food, so my only complaint in the past was the salsa, but this time their salsa is spicy and has a good flavor. I’m not sure if they another cook but even their chip salsa was really good 👍

The food is ok, a little salty. The people that work there act like if that were the owners or worst because I imagine owners don’t want to loose customers. They are now selling the salsa even though you buy your food there.

I come here for the breakfast burritos. Recommend either chorizo or ham. Chips here are excellent, too. Update 02/08/26: First things first... I still love the food here, but noticed some things that needs to be fixed: 1. Online orders have been broken for sometime. Not all menu items are listed correctly on major apps like GrubHub or DoorDash. Oddly, Clover has menu items correctly for this place, but restaurant doesn't see Clover orders on their end for some reason and I had to show my order off my phone as proof. I hope they fix their online ordering someday 🙏🏽 2. I feel chips and salsa is something you have to ask for now (and its free btw)... Before they would automatically include chips and salsa with your orders or at least ask you if want chips or salsa upon pickup. It's kinda odd being handed an order of mexican food without any salsa whatsoever 😕 3. One more thing... order accuracy has been a problem for me lately.... Like I tell them red sauce on my chilaquiles, instead im given with green sauce. 🙄

Well I ordered to go so I’m just rating the food (not the service). I got quesadillas and one burrito, the food was decent, I loved their guacamole, it was pretty good, but the quesadillas sauce wasn’t what I was expecting, I’ve had better quesadillas in other places for the same price, I liked better the burrito.

I work night shifts and I can never find fast food around my lunch break from 9:30 pm to 10:30 pm, this place closes at 9:45 pm but I can never order over the phone. Calls are automatically forwarded. Whenever someone does answer, there's an extreme language barrier with multiple employees. The menu items are different on the doordash app than in store. When you eat inside, it seems like the employees want you to hurry up and leave. No one likes feeling rushed while they're eating. Even though the food is good. I wish they offered birillia.

A kids size bean & cheese burrito is $9 + tax $15 +tax for a breakfast burrito ! What is going on here? I guess nobody can afford to eat anymore unless you want to put it on the credit card and live in debt. Also I sat at the counter for about a minute and a half while I looked at the menu and was happy nobody paid attention or ever came to the counter. I'm guessing Mexican food and Milpitas is pretty bad anyway.

First and last time in there. Nobody was wearing masks or gloves (maybe the cook was wearing gloves, I couldn't see). Young guy bagging up to-go orders pulled up his t-shirt and wiped his face, then back to bagging. Luckily, my burrito was bagged by the girl who was also taking orders and running the register. About the burrito, the only good thing to say, it was big, but not all that tasty. Even the carnitas was bland. Definitely not worth the $14 and change. All in all, a very dissatisfying experience.

Online menu shows enchiladas for $11.75 they Are really $13.99 . I would have never came here if I knew the real price . TASTE Definitely not worth it. Also taco Thursday does not include all their meat only chicken and Carnitas NO ASADA or chili Verde or any other meat they have... Will not be coming back and definitely going to tell everybody I know not to go there

BAD BAD BAD BAD... This morning 9/21 I called 5 min. Before they opened and tried to place 3 orders. Lady told me that the cook was not in yet. So I called 10 after opening time and saw cook walking in because I was waiting outside with my friends. I work in Tesla so I always come in with 10 plus people. She said nothing was ready, she did not apologized or tried to take our order it just sounded like she did not care. So I left.. I'm just going to stop referring people to this place. I gave it another try just because it's so close to work but you guys left me down again.

I went in to order some chicken tacos, and specifically asked for just chicken. To my disgust, they added pork mixed in with the chicken. I almost threw up after realizing what was in my food and had to throw it away. What if I was allergic to other meats? This is completely unacceptable! They knowingly added something different from what I ordered. I am beyond disgusted and will never go back to this place again. Horrible experience. If I could give this horrible please a ZERO, I 100% would!

Ordered & was charged for a super burrito yet received a basic burrito. Their excuse was they're busy because 4 people are eating there, even the chip bag came empty, horrible customer service & over priced 🤦‍♂️

Very unprofessional, came in respectfully to begin to order and ask for recommendations. Once I asked to use restroom to sanitize, employee demanded I had order something before i could do so. Very poor service, I had all intentions to sitting down and ordering food for there and to take home for family. With service like this would much rather support respectable businesses

I got chicken and carne asada tacos and both meats have an after taste of fish of some sort. Not busy at all so shouldn’t have been too much to have cleaned the grill. Also my place and tortillas were completely saturated with the fishy grill oil. Overall I’d give them a 3/10.

When I got home photo provided they really skimped on the taco. Is it because I ordered DoorDash? Idk but this is the worst service I’ve ever experienced. The food is amazing but it seems as though they are inconsistent with their service and the amount of food quality quantity they provide their customers and out of all people this lady is absolutely rude.

I got the regular chicken burrito, there is no sour cream in it, the beans are all dried up, a lotttt of rice and a sprinkle of chicken. Trust it was really bad that i have to throw this half and writing this review in frustration. Bought it in the afternoon on November 14th ! Going to get tacos from some other place now!!
