Busy but super worth the wait for happy hour. Get a bunch of skewers or a beer tower for maximum fun :D Most of the skewers were pretty solid but nothing crazy. Just get a bunch of whatever and you're good to snack or share as much as you want. Happy hour was amazing when I went so if they still have it definitely plan around that. We rolled in with a 10+ group and the staff was super nice about it even though they were slammed. Service was great whenever they could get to us. Portions were fine and everything came out hot. This place shines more for the deals and the energy than super high quality food. Beer tower made the night way cheaper and way more fun lol. Food: 6/10 Service: 9/10 Atmosphere: 6/10 Value: 10/10

We had the spicy grilled fish, grilled shrimp, grilled mussels, cabbage skewer, lamb skewers and squid feet skewers and everything was delicious and well portioned!!! The order is made completely online by you and once submitted, the food is served on a warming box! It did provide great service (many food options, helpful staff & relaxing atmosphere) for the value so I will definitely come again and check out their other locations!

This place is a fun and delicious spot! The vibe is great, and I love the shrimp special at $9.99. Our 2-pound crawfish is also a must-try. We always add extra eggs to it, and it’s the highlight of the meal. My daughter’s favorite place is here. Happy hour has a great $1 lamb skewer, but unfortunately, you can’t take them home. They provide gloves for eating the crawfish, but I wish they would upgrade them to thicker ones because they easily puncture. The Friday night was crowded. It seemed like they were short-handed because it was difficult to get service.

Great place to hangout and open late at night. Our young waiter was wonderful. Will come back again to try more skewers and crawfish. We like the squid tentacles, the Dan Dan noodles and special shrimp. They also have free kids meal which is super nice. They have promo if you review on social media or yelp or google, you get a free drink as well.

Best grilled skewers I've had in awhile . What makes this place great is the fact that they use charcoal to grill their food and food to table speed is fast. They also have a warming plate on your table to keep your grilled skewers nice and hot. Lamb 5/5 - charcoal grilled at high temperatures results in a crispy outer and juicy inner. Best xinjiang taste. We'll balanced. Size of chunks ..just right . Chicken Skin 5/5- Super crispy and flavourful. No fat Beef tongue 4/5- Excellent flavor and soft but maybe cut a bit thin. Still recommend it ! Mushroom / cucumber wasabi dish 5/5: Vinegary, savory, crunchy cucumber, wood ear mushrooms soak up the flavors. Corn 5/5: Super soft and buttery. Tips : Great for families. I saw parents with their kids eating there. Fun dance club EDM livens up environment replete with neon signs. Had to wait on the list about 30 minutes on a Friday night 8:00 p.m.

Great tasting Chinese skewers! They are one of the few restaurants I’ve found in this area that are still open this late into the night. We came here around 9:30 pm on Thursday and had to wait in line to get seated. The service was great. One of our skewers were too hard to bite into and the server gave us replacements after we asked

Everything is good quality and the vibes are right. They have good music playing and it’s a good place to enjoy a meal and beer. My favorite items are the Chinese cumin lamb and beef BBQ skewers, but any of the seafood dishes are really good too. The seafood tastes fresh at least and the sauces are great. Shoutouts to Ken, our server. Now I know I can adjust the spicy level for the skewers. Recommend it here!

The food here is excellent, with well-seasoned dishes. We enjoyed a wide variety, but the standouts were the beef tongue, big lamb skewers, and Dan Dan noodles. Service can be a bit slow for some orders, which is understandable considering the volume of orders they handle, as everything is made fresh. Reservations are recommended to avoid waiting in line, as it gets very busy.

Enjoyed trying the variety of skewers on the menu. I thought I have to grill them myself, but no, these are prepped in the kitchen ready for you to eat. I'm glad I can customize the spiciness since I don't like to burn my palate with too much hot numbing spices. If you like meat infused with cumin you'll enjoy the menu. I enjoyed the special texture selections (crunchy beef throat), tofu (😋), and would like to try the chicken cartilage next. Duck blood in foil pan is very flavorful but salty spicy - would be better with rice. Recommend to quench palate with their jelly cup-- that is very soothing and yummy to finish up the meal.

Look, Gao’s isn’t bad — the skewers slap. They’ve got that smoky, juicy vibe that makes you feel like you’re winning at life. But then the shrimp fried rice shows up in a mini cauldron and you’re like… wait, $15 for this tiny bowl? Did the shrimp train miss a few stops? Now let’s talk service — or the hide-and-seek version of it. Needed water? Good luck. Had to summon our server like we were casting a spell. We even ordered the chef’s special shrimp, and while the flavor was there, no gloves were given. Meanwhile, every Taiwanese-looking table around us got the full VIP glove-and-refill experience like they booked the deluxe package. Respectfully? That felt a little off. Gao’s got potential — the food hits, but the service? Kinda ghosting us. If you go, bring a friend, a sense of humor, and maybe your own gloves… just in case.

ZERO/NONE/ service but automatically changes 18% of tips on the bill. When I mean Zero service, I mean we need to get water by ourselves, or ask for refill of water when they deliver the items we ordered! No one, Not even once to come by to check if things are alright or do we need anything else. NONE! The food is ready good though! Specifically the baked eggplant and green beans! Oyster also very tasty! Otherwise would be just one star. I just can’t justify the 18% of tips with no service received.

After waiting an hour for delivery, the skewers arrived burnt, the watermelon juice had no straw, and the fried rice was unusually dark and tasted awful. Very disappointing.

please never come here. sometimes i get tricked because everything else closes so early. but everything was so burnt and it took 30 minutes for each wave of orders to come out. i felt like i was being starved. this is what i imagine my meat would taste like if i was holding a skewer and got struck by lightning. why am i paying money and wasting time to feel like i have been struck by lightning
