Haven't been to one in years. Stopped at this location because I saw it on my way to Crumble. I had to stop by and I'm glad that I did. It was just as good as I remembered. The servings are big. But the KUNG PAO CHICKEN didn't have much chicken. Mostly vegetables. But everything was great in taste. The egg rolls are just as good as I remembered too. Main reason why I stopped by

I did the overnight fasting thing for a blood test. I was *starving*. 😁 I was actually headed to a different place, but this place was closer. Bam. I came here. I got the combo special with the vegetables, fried rice, and the black pepper chicken. That combo hit the spot! The fried rice had little bits of egg in it, when a lot of places just skip that entirely. The vegetables were good, with a nice variety. And the chicken was good too. Had a little kick to it. In the end, this was a good place to end my fast at. The service was great, and the prices weren't bad either. 👍👍👍

Eggrolls are the best! I introduced my boss's wife to King Eggroll and it's going to be a regular place to eat! Their catering platters are a better deal! Going to eat something today! Craving eggrolls and BBQ pork buns

First time inside this location. Egg rolls are very good. Pork was very good and tender. Chicken was dry and tough. Chow mein was very good and filling. Inside decor was nice and clean. I love the tiling! Small and not a lot of tables but I think most people will do take out here. Difficult to access to parking but plenty of spaces. Friendly lady behind the counter who answered my questions and helped me make my order.

Not all, but most team members are knowledgeable and courteous. This place is known for its catering. I don't place catering orders here, or anywhere. I go to this spot for freshly prepared barbecue pork. My delicious bbq pork is tastiest when I drop a few slices into my egg flower soup. This combination is a hearty treat. I also order the grilled chicken. Once again freshly prepared. I add the grilled chicken to the chicken curry, which is succulent and filling. On my way to pay I buy the roasted garlic peanuts. These are in your face, #fire. Not hot dummies, but tangy garlic and herb goodness. Haters can hate, but they ain't making what this place offers. It's good food.

Nice clean Chinese restaurant with actually a lot of choices. It looks like they use natural ingredients and give a decent amount of food when ordering the 3 item plates. Not very busy and located on a major traveled road. I'm not sure how they get the name King Eggroll because the egg rolls aren't the best, and with a name like that, they should be pretty darn close to the best.

I really wanted to give them five star as you can tell these people are hardworking. But the food is mediocre at best. The BBQ pork is blank with no flavor, not even roasted and stale. The fried rice is old. The only food stands out is the eggroll -- the only freshly made item. The restaurant is spacious and relatively clean. But the quality of food is sur par. The woman serving us was friendly but you can tell she was not generous with the portion.

Customer Service was great, the lady serving us in the steam food table was very helpful and friendly. The reason why I give this place a 3 stars, because of the price and quality of food. First, the price is a bit steep for a dim sum place. Second, the Sui Mai and friend shrimp balls were not warm at all and didn't taste fresh. I was in the Milpitas area and gave this place a try, but unfortunately it didn't compare to my favorite dim sum place in the Union City area.

This place is a knock off of the REAL KING EGGROLLS. Do NOT get their eggrolls or their sauce. It does not taste the same nor is the quality! The customer service was decent. The lady was helpful and recommended other things to try. The dim sum was decent as well. It was humid inside and it was a cold day. The table and floor were sticky.

I hope I hit this on a bad day. I was not impressed by their takeout for dinner on Saturday 2/29/20. The options looked like they were sitting there for a long time. Meals were $10.99 each and no longer come with an eggroll. Waited about 15 minutes to make soup and restock fried rice. When I got home, rice had no flavor, chicken was dry, soup was sweet, & curry chicken was just ordinary. Only real winner, in my opinion, was the BBQ pork. Eggroll didn't even seem as memorable as before. Spent $50 to feed 3 people and by far was not worth it. Will be a long time to go back, however I would still recommend the catering at a fair price.

Uninspired Chinese fast food. The choices were limited, the food was lackluster in flavor and just a tad too oily for my tastes. On the bright side the food was hot, especially the fried things were decently fresh, and at least the egg rolls were yummy. TL;DR will not make you sick, but would not come back

Boss lady was mad that I was eating in the dinning room at 8:02 pm. Two minutes after close.She told the staff to ask me to leave even though I was still eating. She looked miserable but the lady who helped me was nice.

I’m sad the egg rolls were not hot. They were less than lukewarm. Delicious but I like them freshly made especially at lunch time. I ordered at 12:15 pm on a Tuesday. No excuse for cold egg rolls.

Never will I be going back to this place. The first clue...no cars in the parking lot. The time was about 5:30. Second clue...there's nobody at the counter. I waited maybe 5 seconds, about to walk out...a young girl appears.They don't have a menu board,, they have a piece of paper on the glass, the font was very small.. The food looks like it had been sitting there for a while. It was hubby's birthday, short on time, the kids wanted Chinese food. I spent 128 dollars. This is NOT King Eggroll. The food was very bland, no flavor. I should have driven out to the one on Berryessa, but Milpitas was closer. So, y'all have been warned. Do Not buy from here!!

When I arrived the place was empty. The food that was on the warmers looked old. The variety of the food was very poor. There were only four choices. I was already there so I bough the food any ways. This will be the last time I come to this place after all the food was very bad. I have had better food then that. The only thing that was good was the Egg-rolls. By the way these are not the best either.

Terrible service. They told me to wait 10 minutes after I ordered and 20 minutes after, it still was not ready. When I asked about it, they forgot to tell the kitchen. Granted, it was busy, but that is no excused to have a lousy system. To make it worse, they food was hurried and tasted so bland. I've ordered the same thing countless times of times before so they either have a new chef or just plain dint care about the quality as long as they got the food out.

My husband and I have been to this location twice, both times it was the same person behind the counter and both times she was rude. When we walked in the first time she looked up and seen us come in she was helping someone, as we waited another two people came in we walked up to get ready to order she completely ignored my husband and I and started helping the people who walked in after us! My husband let her know we were here before them. She didn’t apologies just continued asked what we wanted? The second time we walked in it was the same person she was on the phone taking an order she ended the call so we waited for her to come over and take our order she then proceeded to answer the phone again and continue to take another order not once did she communicate anything to us? We walked out and didn’t even order. We won’t be going here again. We love king egg roll but we learned our lesson we won’t be going to this one.

They made a fresh batch of sweet and sour chicken for me. But I hadn't actually decided I wanted it yet. I still respect their efforts. They letme sample the bbq pork before I ordered it. It was very good. Unfortunately the hot line wasn't hot so neither was the food. The restroom smelled horrible.

My family and I were extremely disappointed! We waited for the rice to cook. 😯 fresh rice right? NO, it was awful!! They had corn in it, it was completely dry, and horrible flavor! 😢 we couldn't even eat it! We will continue to drive to San Jose to those locations. Never going back! Ever!

Not all King Eggroll are the same. This location has terrible food. The egg rolls were cold and greasy.. Like they were sitting out too long not fresh. The shrimp balls also greasy and the shrimp grey....uhg not pink as it should be. We came home and thru up. I will never go there again. Its worth the drive to King Eggroll on story road. The best egg rolls ever! Don't let this place turn you off,of a good thing. Wish I had read the reviews before going to this location.

Worst food ever! I ordered a grilled pork sandwich and it look like it came out of the side orders and thin slice of meat. The Orange chicken was more of the batter with dry meat. The only thing was good was my cold bottle of water. I thought this place was King eggroll. Don't get it twisted!

Had pork, vegetarian eggrolls. They were nice and hot and tasted great. At $1.75 each they seemed a little expensive. Also ordered a two item special. The chow meim was very tasteless and noodles way overcooked and very soft almost mushy. Their BBQ pork was very dry and grisly. Their sesame chicken was not very good as well. Seemed like all pre-made food ready to go had been sitting and tasteless. Will not eat there again. King Eggroll in San Jose has great food. What a waste of $32.00 in Milpitas.

I went to king egg roll in San Jose on story road. The food was bland and very bad. The fried chicken wing were greasy and bad tasting. There chow main was awful noodles over cooked. The sweet& sour pork was little balls if greasy dry and hard meat, they add the sauce on, no green bell peppers, just big chunks of onions and small pieces of pineapple and red bell peppers. And now the egg rolls that there so famous for the were loose very wet not rolled tight st all and the just taste terrible. They have new owners and they aren't following the original recipe at all. You could never get in or out of the parking lot now a breeze so many places to park! Guess why the food has definitely changed! I'll never go back there again not even for a free meal!

The one rating was lowest I could enter but really a negative Zero would be applicable. I decided to Order from King Egg Roll Milpitas for my nieces Baby Shower. I phoned in my order Friday for pickup at 12:30pm Saturday. I was asked who would be picking up the order I replied my name or Sister gave her name. The person assumed my Sister was making the call and started referring to me by that name ok see tomorrow calling my sisters name...First clue things are not going to go well. So after running errands in San Leandro Saturday on our back to South Bay we stop in Milpitas King Roll to pickup the food for our event, Worker for King Roll assisted my Sister in bringing out the food and placing it in the car. We now headed to final pickup place then to our event. I receive a call after arriving in San Jose concerning my order. Long story short I was given the wrong order.... Mind you I wasn't told this in the beginning of the call I being questioned over and over I was upset why are you calling me finally after 20 minutes of back and forth I find out 2 big orders placed for Saturday Pickup 11 and mine at 12 apparently 11 didn't pickup they gave me their order instead my order... Here's the kicker the money driven manager is telling me to bring back the order. Mind you I am on way to my event. But more so I bring back the order and he was going to give it to other client??? Let that marinate for minute... imagine the health issues KING ROLL big ZERO on all levels... Oh and the food was horrible! What happened even their egg rolls weren't good! The Manager of that store Horrible, Board Health, Food and Drug someone needs to Monitor them. Needless to say they lost a customer. My items totaled over $250. Won't be back!!! Again unforgivable horrible service!!! Oh the person order was $30 more than mine... Your error eat the difference it may taste better than food we bought!

Wasted $22. This place is not a "REAL KING EGGROLL." It seems to be a branch of the original but I can only assume it has different management. This place is undedible.. the food tastes as though it's been sitting out from the day before. I ordered a 2 piece plate with rice (bland), BBQ pork (looks as if it was boiled), and the king egg rolls famous orange chicken (totally soggy and tasted as if it was spoiled). My wife and I took one bite of everything and immediately threw it in the garbage right there in the store. We also asked for a cup of water for our son and the man responded that they don't have water!! On a hot day they don't serve water to their customers. So this place definitely is a bad place for the KING eggroll name. I absolutely love K.E.R., but this is the worst Chinese food I have ever had in my life, waste of $22. Never going back.

As of right now. It will take them 20 minutes to make chaemain because they are out. . If you guys don't want to work don't ruin people's days. Go home sit there and don't get a chek. How is it taking you that long to realize you are running low on food. The place is empty and you tell people 20 minutes to chek again later.

This place was horrible. My son got food, poisoned off of their broccoli beef. Their service was so messy. It looked like their food was leftover food and they just rewarded it this will be my last time ever going there to eat anything. They should be ashamed of theirselves and we got there early in the morning. It was before 11 AM.

I get there at 1:45 p.m. and they're still not ready; the lady gave me the egg rolls from the buffet line then started to organize the food to take pictures.
