Poke Xpress

This is the best poke you can get in the South Bay. I’ve been going here at least once a week for the a year now since it’s 5 mins away from work. The business is family owned and operated by a sweet caring couple. They feel like family to me at this point. Poke Xpress is the best priced in the entire Bay Area and you’ll leave full! They have milk and fruit tea for under $5, and also offer sushi rolls and salad bowls. Their fish is very fresh since they get deliveries every other day. I enjoy getting half sushi rice and half brown rice (it’s Korean mixed rice).They have 3 sizes of bowls and a combo which is a regular bowl and 6pcs of California Roll. I’d recommend getting a regular bowl that comes with 3 scoops of protein. I usually get tuna, salmon, and yellowtail as my choices of protein or you can sub out salmon for spicy salmon (like minced spicy tuna). The standouts for toppings are usually the macaroni salad which is lightly dressed and jalapeños. For dry toppings it’ll be hot Cheetos and fried onions. All of their sauces are made in house and many have tried to ask them for their recipes. Spicy Mayo and Ponzu is a good standard combo, mango sauce is fruity but best as on the side, and wasabi mayo has a crazy kick. The wasabi mayo impressed me because usually at poke joints, they buy premade sauces. A nice thing is that they have a stamp card, for every ten bowls you’ll get a free drink. Always eat at the place if you can, it always tastes better than taking it to go!

Really lucky to have found this place as wanted some poke outside of Great Mall. Friendly staff (I think it's just a husband and wife team) and the poke fish is fresh and delicious. Decent portion of fresh Sashimi for the price.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I had never had a Poke Bowl before a co-worker suggested to come here for lunch. I tried it once and have been gong the past three weeks straight. The Mango Peach Green Tea has a hint of Jasmine that tastes so freaking good! They also don't charge extra for avocado and have a choice of cooked fish for those who don't like it raw. Better prices as well compared to some others I've now visited.

Fantastic little poke spot in Milpitas. Friendliest owners I've ever met, and the toppings are fresh and delicious. You start by picking your base: sushi rice, brown rice, or greens, then add your proteins with variety such was spicy salmon, tuna, shrimp, tilapia, tuna salad, tofu, etc. You can choose a spice level, and additional toppings such as edamame, corn, seaweed salad (so good), macaroni salad, crab, etc. I love to add spicy mayo and yuzu ponzo, plus eel sauce. Do not pass this place up!

Very warm and welcoming Poke place! We came for the first time on a rainy New Year's Eve (they were the only ones open in Milpitas) and were instantly greeted with a smile. Great vibes, and delicious poke. What surprised me is the great selection of sushi. It has everything me and my wife loves: Poke, Sushi and Milk Tea. Definitely recommend this spot and we will be back when the sushi/poke cravings come up. 5 Stars!

Overall a pretty good poke shop that honestly is more about rolls then poke but still was good. I went for poke so didn't get much besides that and a roll, the roll was good though, better then a lot of places rolls. Pricing is a bit higher then other spots but overall not out of line that much so would visit again.

I'm absolutely happy, that I found Poke Xpress. Why I love this place? 1. Very quiet place, a lot of parking places near the cafe. 2. The staff are polite. 3. Orders are accepted correctly and made quickly (approximately 20 minutes for 5 types of sushi). 4. Decorations are very nice and stylish. 5. The food is delicious and always fresh. 6. Good prices.
