The Special Noodle House

We went there on the Chinese New Year. We had no problem to find parking spaces since we arrived at 11:40. The place was empty when we got there. It was full when we left. It was clean and the service was very good. The food what very tasty as well. The parking lot was full by the time we were leaving. Parking in this plaza can be challenging depend on the time and day.

We ordered vegetarian for two. Portion is big and tasty like the fried dumpling vegetable flour skin and loads with vegetable. The Spring Onion Prata and Fried noodle was good too.

Came on a friend's recommendation and all in all it was pretty solid. Had their braised pork belly noodle with regular noodles and it was pretty dang good, pork belly was flavorful and noodle flavoring was fine. All in all a nice place for a variety of noodle and rice dishes.

This place is AMAZING. The Chinese mixed rice bowl was incredibly flavorful and seriously so appetizing, everything was perfectly seasoned and made me want to keep eating. The portion size is also very generous, definitely filling and great value for the price. On top of that, the service was excellent: everyone was friendly, attentive, and the food came out quickly. Overall such a satisfying meal. I’ll absolutely be coming back!

The food is delicious - their pan fried noodle is very tasty. Kids love their little dragon buns. Excellent service by the crew. We enjoy eating here! 👍

The skin of the XLB was so think and delicate I think it rivals DTF. The dumpling was full of yummy soup. The price was also really reasonable. The dan dan noodles were good but they weren't spicy at all. They do have chili on the table that you can add youself. The beef roll was good but nothing special and was also not really hot when it got to our table. The waiters were really nice and attentive.

The soup dumplings were super fresh, juicy, and flavorful — the kind that burst perfectly when you pick them up. The noodle dishes were fire too, everything tasted homemade with really good texture. Service was fast and friendly, and the whole place felt welcoming. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

Great decor and atmosphere. Jazz music is fun and relaxing. Very spacious with the tables well spaced. I like ordering by QR code but even so, the service was friendly and appropriately attentive. The two of us ordered three dishes - snowflake dumplings, beef wrap, and pork belly noodle soup. The dumplings and wraps were both excellent. The noodles were tasty and chewy. We didn’t care much for the pork belly, so we’ll try something else next time.

Our friend recommended this place, she comes for lunch with her colleagues and says it is crowded. We ordered wonton soup and spicy wonton, noodles with pork belly, fried dumpling, fried onion (paratha), and steamed black bun with egg yolk. All pretty tasty, service was nice and efficient. Each table has condiments and spices to enhance to your preference. We even got broth refills when a waiter noticed we were almost out of broth. It will be fun to try other noodle broth combinations for next time.

So yummy! The pork and crab roe XLB are the only things I would maybe not get again but they were still good. The chow mein and eggplant + beans were amazing! Can’t wait to go back.

Was visiting for a conference and at at this place with a small group. First of all, the service was top notch. The food was shared and everything was absolutely amazing. The wonton soup was heavy. Most of the time they are water down, super thin. Nkot here. Soup here was mouth feeling. Broccoli beef stir fry, string been and tofu and everything else was outstanding! Definately recommend this place.

Everything we tried was phenomenal! The spicy beef noodle soup, the yum yum bao buns which was like a xiao long bao crossover is so unique and so tasty! We enjoyed everything else we had from the cucumber salad all the way to the Dan Dan Noodle. Our server Loong took the experience of our meal to a completely different level, what a gem of a guy! Will definitely be back when I’m in the area!

We had a great experience here. Our server was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. They were attentive without being intrusive, checked in at the right times, and made us feel genuinely comfortable. The service really stood out and made the whole visit even better.

I personally had an OK experience walking in having a late dinner, but the type of service I witnessed was subpar. The restaurant closes at 10:30, and a big party walked in at around 9:40 or so, the waiter comes over and says in Chinese for them to order quickly and that they’re closing soon. I’m assuming their kitchen closes half an hr early at 10 or something. Then, a bit later a couple comes in at maybe 9:58. The waiter hurriedly motions for them to sit, almost impatiently, then comes over and yells at them “quickly quickly!! Order! We’re closing!” They seemed flabbergasted and one of them whispered “Jesus!” once he walked away. When I finished my food, I went to pay at the counter because the waiter was sitting far away in the other side of the dining room just on his phone, that’s fine, I was in a hurry to leave and not going to wait around forever for him to notice me to pay. Then on my way to the cash register, I literally had to walk around a mop and a bucket that was already in the middle of the room blocking a path between chairs. I am used to (especially Asian) restaurants having delicious foods but having maybe not-so-attentive service, but yelling at a customer, rushing them to order even though it was half an hr before closing, and the lackluster service takes away from the whole experience. The interior was nice and there was nice jazz music, and that’s about it. I wouldn’t come to this location again if I can avoid it. I ordered the Dan Dan noodles which was delicious, though.

This place is like a fever dream.. The decorations look like they belong in a man cave. Hitt or miss, this place is a hitt or miss.. The service is not consistent. The servers are SOMETIMES FRIENDLY and sometimes helpful with explaining the sauces and dishes. Don't order water, the pitcher is dirty and moldy. The staff gets territorial over the bathroom, wierd cause the bathroom is always dirty. AND you have to pay in cash...which is not advertised ANYWHERE. Something shady is going on here.
