I had an overall positive experience here. The food was simply delicious, that alone stole the show for me. More so, the ambiance was warm and inviting. Really loved the vibe. I would only suggest working on the parking situation, which seemed to be a bit of an issue. But that didn't overshadow the delightful service rendered. A worthwhile spot for a great meal, highly recommended!

We had a lovely experience here! There's free valet, and luckily we were seated immediately. The waiter was nice and answered all of our questions. We sat in the outdoor tent area. They even set up tvs. The food is excellent. I was leary but I decided to have the grilled prime rib. And it was actually cooked to my preferred doneness! Food is served semi family style, entrees served with rice, beans, and vegetables to share. For dessert, I had the heavenly white. All of the cream and caramel goodness is just divine. I definitely will be returning!

Always busy whether it’s a weekend dinner or lunch on a weekday. What brings us back is not just the delicious food and top notch service but the consistency. The quality never goes down. Chicken, steak, seafood everything is great. Our favorites: the chicken and the ribs. Also their white sangria is so good. Staff is super friendly and accommodating. Very clean establishment, and they recently renovated an additional seating area in the back which is super pretty. Great option for a special occasion or just because.

I’m Italian but this place slaps all the time. The magnificent food here makes me wanna jump in the air and kiss the clouds with joy! The food makes you wanna jump up in the air and do backflips three times in a row. The best part about this place is when you are driving, you can smell the food from the outside of the store. That’s how strong and amazing the food smells. I’m not even kidding. I’m parked outside. Sometimes I can smell it from my business office. It is outstanding and it is what I can call the best smelling and tasting Portuguese cuisine in United States.

Came here for the first time because of the great reviews.. The waiter actually recommended the Rodizio (all you can eat) of SEVEN different meats and promised we wouldn't be disappointed.. We ordered it and truly enjoyed it.. Loved the pork, the beef, the ribs! Sausages also were really AMAZING! The sides were great and the pico de gallo Salsa once poured on the meats made them even more delicious. Definitely recommended. The red (flavorful) and white (sweeter) sangrias are the best...something to come back to.

Rodizio is amazing! Thanks meats are tender with the right amount of flavor. I love bbq so I'm always ready to douse everything in sauce but I didn't need to do a thing here. The tres leches cake is delicious. This place gets packed at dinner time so you'll have to wait but just chill at the bar and a few drinks while you do. Friendly staff, great prices. Next time I'll order off the menu - the other food looks just as amazing.

This place is absolutely beautiful and was super clean. There was a table ready for us right away and plenty of heated out door seating as well. We had the rodizio for 4 people. Every meat was cooked perfect. Plenty of sausage, sirloin steak, spare ribs, beef chunk and bacon wrapped turkey coming around every few minutes. Between the endless meats and the delicious sides, the deserts were fantastic as well. The tiramisu and heavenly whites were ridiculously good. If I had to choose 1, go with the heavenly whites. I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area 👍

do not order the rodizio if you don’t have an big appetite. when i tell you i was FULL after a few minutes I ALMOST COLLAPSED. All the waiters were very attentive, great service overall from all the waiters and runners. I believe our waiter was Luis, that’s what our receipt says, so shoutout to him for his great service! 🌟 I would recommend this place for big parties/families. The area outside was more intimate than the inside seating area. All tables are also very spacious. It’s also very noisy inside so just fyi. Would not recommend for couples to sit inside. The restaurant layout is also very unique. The wine cooler towards the back and the open window and doorway to the kitchen allows you to see the staff and how interactive all team members are. I’d come back for a birthday or any big celebration. Prices were also fair for the amount and quality of food.

If you love meat and family-style dining, you have come to the right place. While we saw waiters serving steak, prime ribs, and chicken, we have yet to deviate from ordering the Rodissio. There isn't anything like being served meat off the spit perfectly seasoned and cooked. It is fantastic to see how they bring by skewers of beef, chicken turkey, and pork each prepared do deliciously. The turkey is wrapped in bacon, so it stays tender and moist. The chicken is grilled but so juicy. And the filet, short ribs, and steak all come medium-rare, but you can ask for a more well-done piece. And while you wait for the server to pass by, they set out a feast before you that includes black beans, onion vinaigrette, tossed green salad, peas, and carrots with rice, homemade potato chips, French fries, fresh hot Portuguese rolls, plantains, and sauteed kale. There is dessert if you have any room left, but I doubt it! The staff is pleasant and attentive, especially given the crowds they serve. A great meal all around.

I went here for a retirement dinner with 21 of my coworkers and all of us loved it! Several of us ordered the grilled prime rib and everyone raved about how nicely seasoned and grilled it was, unlike your typical prime rib. It was more similar to a steak. It was a busy Friday night, so the noise volume was high as we were in a back room with another large group celebrating a birthday. The restaurant itself is nice. Casual decor with white tablecloths. The wait staff were able to handle the crowd and were friendly. I ordered the grilled ribs and rice and black beans to go for my husband at home, and he said the food was delicious. Will definitely go back again with my husband.

Went to get Sunday lunch and it was very busy. We noticed a ton of to go orders being made. But the restaurant was full. Luckily there was a table available for us. We ordered the jumbo shrimp, swordfish, skirt steak, porterhouse, bronzini, flan and heavenly whites (natas do ceo) We were very impressed with the food quality and taste. Authentic Portuguese restaurant with a perfect sized menu serving high quality meats and sides dishes prepared using classic Portuguese recipes. All of their delicious meats are prepared using authentic wood-charcoal grilling. All of the staff members were friendly and attentive staff. Our server was Luis and he was friendly, honest, professional, knowledgeable, and very courteous. In short, he provided us with an awesome experience. We were immediately seated and served water, fresh baked homemade bread and butter and salad with onions, carrots, tomatoes, and vinegarette dressing. We ordered Green Soup and a Super Bock Draft Beer to split. For dinner, we my shared a 24-Ounce Porterhouse Steak cooked medium rare with their homemade hot and spicy sauce. The steak was accompanied with fresh garlic broccoli and carrots, rice, and fries. All of the food was delicious and seasoned to perfection. The bathrooms are clean and maintained. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The place is very busy and they process a huge amount of take out orders. I recommend that you arrive before 05:30 PM when the huge rush of large families begins. Ask for Luis as your server and you definitely won't be disappointed. Come hungry and you will leave full and satisfied!

Wow!!! Really enjoyed lunch here. We used to come here for Rodizio many years ago. Wood grilled chicken and short ribs were out of this world. When you order chicken dish, all the side dishes (rice pilaf, veggies, French fries) and salad come with it. All the dessert looks amazing but we were so full. Bread was just like what we had in Portugal. As we were walking out, we found out that they have places in Porto and Lisbon. Ever since we got back from our Portugal trip, we’ve been craving authentic Portuguese food and we found the place! Side of the restaurant has a take-out section and you can see the kitchen staff grilling meat. Lunch is a great value and I would definitely come back with my friends and family in a near future.

Was in NY visiting family, went to have dinner at Bairrada. Shortly after being seated we were delighted with a salad, olives and freshly made bread. We order the house Sangria which was perfect wine dis not over power the fruit or vise versa. For dinner we order the chicken along with skirt steak. I have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years, and the quality of the food seems to just get better. Over the years, they have changed its aesthetic and added 1 more seating room area. Their desserts are also amazing. I'm Portuguese and I can tell what's good portuguese food and what's not, and this is my go-to place when I miss my country. It's rare that a restaurant can survive over 25 with keeping the best quality. Sometimes we do rodizio, or salmon. but what I really love is their roasted chicken. Their bread is also always very fresh and delicious.

We were headed for a diner, and I told my friend that I wanted a Skirt Steak served on Garlic Bread. Several months ago, I saw a TikTok about Bairada and told my friend to go there. (I live in Brooklyn) He went and went back several times. He said, 'Let's skip the diner and go to Bairada.' Parking is simple. The place is beautiful and simple. The tables are set with white linen. The plates have the restaurant name on them. Very elegant. The atmosphere is mildly noisy. During the day there is plenty of natural light. So Inviting. I am handicapped so I need chairs that slide easily. They did. They had all sorts of steak, Chicken and Fish. We had the lunch menu. Prices were very reasonable. Now the food: I had the skirt steak. It was done to perfection and tasted amazing. They offered the home-brewed hot sauce. It lifted the flavors to a new level. The vegetables were so tasty being sauteed in butter and garlic. The potatoes and rice were also very tasty. Before the main course arrived, they brought out a salad that was perfectly dressed. My friend had fish with a shrimp sauce. He really enjoyed his plate as well. The meal was hard to believe good. Dessert was on the same level. All the portions were large. The wait staff was so friendly and helpful. We felt completely relaxed from the time we arrived to the time we left. Our Waiter did a great job helping us navigate the menu. They were very attentive to our needs. Five Stars to the professional Wait Staff Also, the bathrooms were very clean and handicap accessible. This was one of the best experiences I have had in a long time. There are other places that are right up there, but this place is hard to beat on so many levels. Thanks for such a great time. Update: Went there 12.6.2025. This is the third visit. The food was amazing as usual. There is virtually no turnover in staff. I love how they take care of you. The simple format of Salad and Bread, and sides are automatic, making dining there so easy. This place rocks. It is one of my top spots to get a good skirt steak.

We went to this restaurant to celebrate 3 Kings Day as well as my birthday. My mother has a service dog and when asked to be seated, was asked for credentials (which is normal), the problem arose when the person who asked for credentials followed up by saying where did you get this fake ID from? Print on the Internet? Talk about a slap in the face with such ignorance. My mother didn't say anything to me on the spot to avoid conflict, but I was extremely displeased with the response to her and her service animal Ginger. Had she said something when I arrived, we would've not frequented the establishment. Aside from that huge hiccup, the food was good, my brother was the only one to order Rodizio and the server was attentive to his experience. Besides that, the service was decent considering it was packed. Had to ask for a few items more than once but I'm understanding as it was very busy. Still, though the initial treatment of my mother left a sour taste, in terms of the experience.

Been dinning at this place for more than a decade now and it has stayed consistent till recent. Have not gone here in a couple of years and was surprised when we visited summer of 2021. The place was renovated and it looks nice. We always order the Grilled Chicken and grilled tilapia and was surprised that the chicken taste different now, less garlicy and a little salty, but is still delicious. Even the Sangria which is a must try has changed albeit for the better! My wife and I loved it. Nice serving of bread, rice, salad and fries to complement you chosen entree. You could do the eat all you can for a reasonable price. The price is a bit expensive and expect to pay at least $30 for each dish.

This is my experience both for delivery/takeout orders and for in person. I will say that the food has always been excellent and very delicious, and over the years the quality has remained consistent. The service in person is always great, and the staff are very friendly and always attentive to our needs. When ordering for takeout, we have noticed an increase in prices which is not surprising, but we have also seen less food appear in our order. The chicken usually comes with a side of rice, fries, or the option for both. A couple years ago they would send a tray of each, then a box (which i completely understand), but now the box isn't even filled to the top. When I received my delivery both the rice and fries had space missing in the box and not filled to the usual amount. I'm disappointed but it is becoming somewhat expected from this restaurant now.

Even though they're doing well with the social distancing, the food and service have fallen off greatly. The meats are way too smokey to the point that they taste burnt. The quality that we went there for was just not there. The beef was tough and too chewy. It didn't even have salt on it. The chicken, dry. The salmon was overcooked and bland. The sides lacked the flavor as well. Definitely not worth the price for us. Sad because this was one of our favorite places.

Full rodizio experience is overpriced with very limited meats and no salad bar. All meats are well done and dry. No drink or wine list to speak of except told by server they offer a full bar. There are better in nearby neighborhoods.

The Streak is really good, so is the salmon dish. Good portion size. The descriptions on the menu aren’t very detailed so My advice would be to ask for details; fore ample my dish came with sausage which was not part of the description.

Great food terrible service I was there with my family a guy come took the order for our food after around 15 minutes when I was ready after 5 minutes and that was the last time I saw him I ask him to bring my kids food first but I guess he didn’t care I had to be asking for help to whoever I see they just stand by the bar taking to them self in another word’s terrible service

The food was great but the service from our waiter Luis was not good at all. From the start he took our drink orders and then the food but right after disappeared. Came back when we were already done with dessert that we got from another waiter. At the end he rudely slammed the check on the table.

Prime ribs and short ribs was good. But pork chop, fish, and sirloin was over cooked, very dry. They ran out on porterhouse steak and suckling pig on Sunday night, even though we called beforehand and they said they have it. Disappointed with quality of the food.

Two stars for the disappointment to order grilled Bacalhau and have to deal with all the bones. Yeah they might be old school Portuguese food but that step can be solved in the kitchen with a couple of pliers. Other than that, it was on point. I would say delicious. The chicken churrasco was dried, burnt and not juicy at all. The french fries were mushy, looking dead and so was the rice - tasteless. The vegetables were steamed out of a bag. The place was full on a snowy Sunday night and I would be here more often if the food was not so disappointing.

Came here with my family on Sunday 3/23 for a family birthday. Talked to a waiter and a host about getting them to sign happy birthday to my wife, was told by both yes. Time dragged on and nothing happened. When we were leaving a couple of us needed doggy bags, the waiter offered to pack it for us. He threw everything away but a small piece of meat and that’s all that he left in the box. We left a tip since there were multiple servers helping us. Last time we go there. Bad service they forgot my fry’s for a big order and it was a party I kept calling and they asked me for my address and they never showed up.

This is what i don't like about this place. You pay $40 for all the MEAT you can't eat. The first thing they bring you is bread. Then they bring you salad. Then they bring you french fries. So all this time they have you eating fillers. By the time the meat comes your appetite is down to half. They come by and give you 1 sliver of meat. By your 3rd sliver and chasing the guy to give you meat your full. My suggestion go to a Brazilian restaurant. They don't play. No kids menu $25 for kids. The only one happy here is the owner.

I have ordered from this place for years, recently I placed an order and there was barely any rice and fries with my order . If this is the new portion never ordering from here again. Very disappointed

This restaurant is no longer worth going to. The cashiers kept saying 10 more minutes, and finally another worker admitted they never started my order. They kept looking at my receipt I had on my phone when it clearly had my order number. After waiting double the time it said for pick up, I finally got my order. Once I opened everything at home, I find out they gave me the wrong order. I was too tired to go back and be lied to so I just ate the burned chicken they gave me for my family. Check your order before you leave so this does not happen to you. Better yet go somewhere else. It has to better than this restaurant.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!! No stars at all. The food was terrible. The service was terrible. They did not honor our reservation time and made us wait to even be seated. The atmosphere is horrible. They sit you in wet tents. The whole time there was a couple fighting and breaking glasses next to our party. The staff did nothing at all to fix the situation. The experience was terrible. Before you even consider spending a dollar in this place consider Rainhas or Villa Brazil Cafe. We went for a company Christmas dinner as professionals and were treated terribly by the staff and patrons alike. Worst experience ever. This place needs to be shut down. Very unprofessional and unorganized. The food was barely edible.

FLY ALERT!!!! Found a fly walking on one of the meats. Looked like it was wrapped in it somehow and popped up as we were separating it. It couldn’t fly away but was still alive. When we brought this to our waiters attention, he wasn’t empathetic and told us that this must’ve happened as they were bringing the meat to the table. He offered us a coffee on the house. This all ruined the experience to say the least. A sangria was given to us without charge but in the end, we’ll definitely not be coming back here

0/10. I NEVER eat here or order here again. Ordered take out from here. I ordered $30-40 worth of food. Cornbread, rolls, 2 different cuts of steak (cube and sirloin) and tres leches. This was probably one of the worst eats experience I’ve had in awhile. The sirloin was not included in my order. Nor was any corn bread. The rolls were cold and hard. The steak was also cold, it was also tough. The taste was good but overall ruined by missing half of my order. I understand that I placed a late order but if this the level of service you provide at this time then as a restaurant you need to scale back the times you can receive orders.

I understand people may waste food but the server takes forever to come around with the meats so you have no choice but to ask for 3-4 pieces at the time or wait for over 15 minutes to get another piece. also they charge for soft drink refills.. other places usually it's free refills for soda, apparently here it's not. And lastly make sure to check your bill!!! They up charge the tip and make it about $6-7 more than what it should be.. tips should only be based on the subtotal not including the tax, here though they make the suggested tip including the tax which is a sneaky tactic!!! They want a big tip but the service sucks you the customer have to go up to the waiter or other helper to get things smh... Wouldn't come back! I'd rather go to AG or Fogo!!!

I ordered a piglet for Christmas, it was not what I expected. The piglet was super tiny and not cooked well. I feel like I paid too much for what I received. And the worst was the flavor nothing what I was expecting. Wasn’t able to eat it at all very upset for what we got for our Christmas meal.

1 star until you solve the smoke problem. My parents live 5 blocks away and every time I visit, I can smell the smoke from the restaurant in the evenings. Please figure out a solution and take care of the surrounding community that has supported you for years. All the neighbors have the same opinion. Your food is great, but I’ve stopped eating there bc of this. I ask you sincerely to clean this up finally.

The food was awful. I got the portuguese steak with egg. It was in a weird broth and just chunks of garlic thrown on and flavorless potatoes. My husband got the half chicken. I hate chicken on the bone and it was so dry. Even the steamed vegetables and black beans were terrible. The french fries were burnt yet soggy and also had zero flavor. The salad was the only saving grace and even then the presentation was just sloppy.

When we arrived, we politely asked for a quiet table so she could feel comfortable. The staff asked to see the dog’s ID, and I presented it without hesitation. After that, we were made to wait while they called the manager. When he arrived, instead of understanding the situation, he said my daughter “is not blind,” and refused to allow the service dog to stay. My daughter became extremely upset and started crying. Her service dog, sensing her distress, began to get anxious as well. I had no choice but to take the dog outside, and my little girl spent the rest of dinner crying and feeling humiliated. I even had to go to the car to comfort her near her dog while we waited for our food. This was an awful experience for us. A Psychiatric Service Dog is protected under federal ADA law, just like any other service animal. They are not pets — they are trained to assist individuals with disabilities
