Great food! Awesome, friendly staff! Cool atmosphere!

We ate here for the first time last week. My husband is very picky about his brisket, and he loved it. He also loved that they have so many craft beers to choose from. I tried his fried okra and beans. Both very good. I had the turkey on a bun with fries. Just a heads up that there's a little spice to the fries, in case you're ordering for kids. Maybe you can get them without the heat but you'll need to ask. Atmosphere was very friendly and casual. This would be a great place to just hang out and have a few beers too. We will definitely be back. My friend said the wings on Wednesday are excellent so we will try that next.

We decided that their side of fried okra was the best we have ever eaten! We usually order the Texana-sized sliced brisket sandwich, which is outstanding on its own. He usually gets a craft beer on tap and is never disappointed. Servers are friendly, happy, and glad you're there. Also, the background music during our lunch was ZZ Top, Rolling Stones, and The Ramones. YES PLEASE!!!

CowBurners BBQ has great tasting meats with some flavorful sides and an extensive beer selection. They have a number of beers on tap and a well stocked beer fridge featuring beers from Texas breweries. I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the meats, but if you’re there on a Friday or Saturday make sure to get some of the rib candy. It’s like jerky and Dr Pepper candy had a sweet and tender love child. Take advantage of their illicit union and put some in your belly!

This place is a jewel in Mineola. Took my family there this weekend and had some outstanding bbq. I'm pretty picky when it comes to brisket and I was pretty blown away by theirs. Bark had tones of flavor and the brisket was tender as you would want it to be. The only knock I had and this is just personal preference was the okra was a little to salty. The potato salad was a stand out as well. I'll keep coming back to this place for sure

This is a family friend's business, so I'm a little biased. The food is AMAZING!! The meat is smoked perfectly! The sausages are fantastic! Also, try the fresh cooked pork rinds! They come to the table still crackling! The restaurant is clean, as are the bathrooms and the staff are VERY friendly. Stop in and tell Jason, "Hello!" Did I mention the meat is smoked perfectly?

I love the unique menu options. The pork rind Nachos with toppings on the side to dip are by far my favorite item on the menu. Also love the rib candy tacos, cowburner tacos, loaded fries and the fun drink selection. The employees are always friendly and helpful with questions. Love the atmosphere in the downtown area.

Make sure to get here early if you want certain types of meat. Wide selection of beers both on tap and bottles/cans. Service was very good. Fresh made pork rind nachos were amazing. Rib candy is awesome. Sausage is delicious. Brisket is top notch! Sides are very good. We will definitely be back.

The only place to go in small town North East Texas for a craft beer. Love the food and the servers are friendly. The craft beer selection changes so you can fall in love with something new every time. I only wish there was a way I could get updated when something amazing and new is on tap. I guess it just needs to be my new favorite hang out... Shucks! 🤣 Love this place. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)

Ordered the Frito pie to go. I was shocked at the tiny amount of meat. The container in the container made the amount even smaller. It was only filled halfway and 3/4 of the bowl was beans. It had a teeny tiny amount of brisket. It tasted good but definitely not worth my time and money.

Price: My main beef (haha…yeah, I got puns) is that this place was expensive for given barely any meat at all. It was $40 for three meals and two drinks. We got the gut bomb bbq baked potato, plain baked potato, and a one meat plate with two sides. The potatoes don’t even come with sides! Taste: The meat was hot and tasted good, and the bbq sauce was sweet and goof. The beans weren’t seasoned and were just okay. For a small town restaurant, it was just good but it didn’t go beyond expectations. Location: The downtown vibes were nice with outdoor seating and a bust of Elvis. Very rustic and fun feelings. The parking isn’t abundant but you can park around the corner and walk.

The food is average, but the tips that they add themselves are ridiculous....... I will never give them another cent!!!!! Hey owner, first of all I did not sit on the review for a year! I posted it the next day! I I don't know why it took so long to actually post. 2nd. If I would have known how much extra you were going to charge me for just doing your job, I never would have ordered from you. You should let people tip what they feel is appropriate!
