I took my grandkids for lunch last week and we sat out on the tables outside it was nice and wendy. They really enjoyed everything they ordered. That strawberry sundae was delicious. Thanks we'll be seeing ya'll again DQ
It's always a pleasure to go to DQ, I have been going to all the DQs in NJ since the 70s. There ice cream has never change and now since I found one here in homestead, my husband is always treating me. I'm like a child in a candy store.
Good fast food chain with friendly staff. Crispy chicken sandwich was tasty, and sauce fans will enjoy the large sauce packets. Orange Julius smoothies avaliable as well as traditional DQ favorites like blizzards and soft serve.
The service is really good. The food is also amazing, the place in general looks really clean and every employee is really friendly. Such an amazing place!! I totally recommend it.

Open on Christmas!! Thank you to the employees working on the holiday. Everyone was cheerful and upbeat and we thanked them several times for being open. We thought we would be eating at Racetrac (gas station). Pizza and hotdogs :-/ Last review I disliked that there was an employee taking your drive thru order before the order board. But it was fine this time. Relatively quick for the amount of customers they had. Only thing I would say is getting your ice cream (4 blizzards) before our hot meals was not the best. We had to choose to eat our ice cream and cold fries or warm food and drink our blizzards :-?
One of the best places to get ice cream in homestead. Belinda took our order and had our ice cream before we even sat down. Very fast service even in the drive thru. We love coming here. Same employees with smiling faces. We will definitely be back to this family friendly place. Thanks Belinda!
I love the illumination in this place, also the decorations with the red and white lights make it look elegant and secure, today 01/12/2022 we walk there, order in the window and eat outside, in general DQ has delicious desserts, the hot food is good, as well the management, because people are always nice and the place is clean, glady I give DQ 3330 NE 8th St, Homestead, FL 33033 5 stars. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟👍Great Work! This is a better version of the run of the line fast food hamburger and fries, however this place is better known for its icecream and frozen dessert items like those yummy Blizzards

I don't come here often, but I look forward to going everytime. I have never had a bad time here. I enjoy the fast food but it's better because of the clean restaurant and the congenial staff. Thankfully, the customers I've seen aren't awful. I'm not used to such a consistently excellent experience. Thank you!
I love the mini size blizzards. They are satisfying and my diet trespass it's not as bad as if it were a bigger size. I just had a burguer, combo #5, and it was really good. It was plentiful and I couldn't finish it. Icecream Birthday cakes are awesome here....
Kuddos to the management team that was so thoughtful in their decorating for the season. I was so impressed to see how much love they put into it. From the parking lot to the seating area inside... I absolutely loved it. It is obvious that the manager puts his or her heart and soul into this position. The service was great! Everyone was polite and curteous, something hard to find these days. If you're looking for a great tasting, deliciously good, New York Style Royal Cheesecake blizzard...THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!! Yummmmm...this dessert, ice cream, blizzard, or whatever it's called is the BEST tasting New York Style Royal Cheesecake I've had. My kids and I make special trips to this place every so often. We don't live close to it but we do take the ride there whenever we feel like having some good old ice cream/blizzard. They have mastered the perfect portion amounts to make this dessert taste so good. Plus we've had great service every time we've gone. The ride for us is a bit out of our way (30 minutes or so) but it is well worth it! We haven't had a lot of the other items on the menu so my 5-star rating is mostly for the service, ambiance, and the delicious New York Style Royal Cheesecake they prepare. Oh we do ask for an extra serving of the cheesecake but it's not necessary as their portions are well thought-out. We just like the extra yumminess...lol.

I treated my oldest sister here for her birthday 😊 we had a nice lil time. I got the fish sandwish and fries...I wish my fish was fried a lil harder, but everything was soo good, I enjoyed it. We all enjoyed our food. I like the fact that you & ur family can get good food here on a budget..keep up the good work Dairy Queen 😊 yes, I recommend. Every since I was a kid Dairy Queen has always had the best ice cream and always will 😊
This is for any and all employees that were working on the night of 5/22/25 between 7-830pm...my daughters whole softball team showed up with parents and there was a whole soccer team sitting as well. The cashier stayed calm and had a wonderful personality dealing with what seemed like chaos to the rest of us. Our orders came out one by one without any mistakes at all! We had a wonderful time thanks to this Dairy Queen! Thank u sooo much!!!
I have to say that I don't know why I've taken so long to review this place. I haven't been coming here for years and I have never met nice stuff, especially the ones employed this year 2024. Every single time I come, I have never had anything to complain about. I have always been treated with respect my order is always correct. The food is always very good. Customer service in this part of town. Homestead is not known to be the best but this location an establishment definitely stands out and my book. thank you for providing great service each and every time. Specifically, I went today during the drive-through whoever took my order was very patient did not rush me through the order and was just very polite. Also, the place is usually decorated nicely for holidays, which is a cute touch
First time in a dq, I like it, ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and taste is much better than wendy's or McDonalds, off course I am comparing fast food against, and I don't really like too much, also the ice cream 8s good, this is a good option for a fast food restaurant
The food here is SO GOOD, but service is either slow or unorganized. I ordered my food and like 10 people behind me got their food before me. Didn't make a complicated order either - just a burger and fries.
Service is great. But first impressions, at 1130 am I would assume they just opened. Outside entry way very dirty and sticky. Desperately needs pressure cleaned. Doors should be cleaned. Area out side needs swept up. Just opening shouldn't look like that. As an ex waitress these things matter to me.
This DQ is nice because you can sit inside, take it to go or order from the drive thru. The staff was nice, if a bit slow paced, the atmosphere was relaxed, and not loud or overcrowded. Not sure if that's typical, I did visit on a Sunday. Previously when I visited, I ordered from the drive thru, so I dont have a comparison. The menu is pretty expansive for an "ice cream shop" so you can also get hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken, and fries. The pricing is moderate. Great place to bring the kids for a meal.
The food was cold for as long as I had to wait after placing my order which was about 10mins from the speaker to the window. The service however was good. All employees have a high level of professionalism

Im. Texas girl in a Miami world & i drove all the way from West Kendall to get me some DQ. I was a little disappointed with the minimal menu. There were no steak fingers!!!!! 😱😱 the gravy was a little thin for my liking...country gravy should be creamy. Not runny. The fries were a little soggy. DESPITE the texture of the food it didn't taste awful. I'd eat it again. I just wish it were consistent to what im used to. The bonus was that they had crushed ice!!!!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 DQ for the win.
There's not many Ice cream places where you can go through drive thru and order your ice cream. I love the convenience and i love their ice cream. Only reason i gave it a 4 star was because there are times i go for chocolate ice cream and they dont have it so i have to settle for a sundae.
Good lunch specials. But have to repeat my order numerous times when in drive thru. Plus 2 out of 3 they are out of the soft served chocalate ice cream.
So I come here all the time but today I was very disappointed. As I was waiting for a blizzard at the drive thru. this young girl working in the back was picking up food to bring to the front register. Opens the customers food box and picked fries of the box ate them. Then closes the box and takes it the front. Employees should not be eating customers food behind there back. Then service them there food like it's all good. I can see the girl in plan sight right thru the window. Totally un acceptable NASTY employee.I spoke to the manager after witnessing this and he said he would handle it.
1st time in Dairy Queen. I ordered the oreo blizzard and it was good no complaints however, when I first stepped inside store there was this horrible smell like if something had died inside. It was not pleasant. I advise the shift mgmt short dark skin lady who listened and asked somoone to go outside and see if something smelled but it was coming from inside. I also ordered waffles and chicken anyway. But its important to maintain and upkeep cleaniness and smell of store. The idea is to keep customers to come back not steer away. I hope someone looks into this because I'd like to bring my family. If experience is better next visit will give a 5 star rating.
The closest the drive thru 15 minutes ahead of closing , so I walked in and got what I wanted
Can wait for food is not that bad, most of my issues here are around the location being out of things, which consistently shows me management doesn't plan properly for the demand. I ordered a new slushie drink and the drive thru didn't said they don't have anything with dairy...slushies are ice... by werent able to communicate what exactly they had and didn't, seemed like they didn't want to take my order. Another problem is if the seating inside is getting full on 3 different occasions over seen a single staff member occupying a larger booth during their break time causing larger parties to cram into a smaller booth. Management should address this as well. Over all it's not bad but there have been several frustrating visits.
Second time at this location and the burgers are dry and cold. The chicken tenders were good. I will stick to their blizzards in the future.
Drive thru was fast and the people were friendly but my blizzard was only about 1/3 mixed through. The top 1/3 was completely mixed but the bottom 2/3s was just plain vanilla ice cream.
Not really in line with the rest of the company. Usually busy and usually slow in the drive thru. They refuse to turn your blizzard upside-down, and items are usually made and waiting too long because of the wait. The food is good, but the service is rather lacking.
Dairy Queen was my favorite soft serve cone and will always be! When I found a new one near my home in Homestead, FL, we stopped for lunch. The decorations for Halloween were amazing funny-scary and each time you looked in a different direction, there was something else. Now, to the food: we ordered our lunch at the counter and sat at a table. The blizzards were delivered first (????) and we expected that meant our meals were on the grill and good to go. Our number was 1. Twenty minutes later, we paid, grabbed our food and wimpy blizzards and drove home. The food was okay-ish, the fries were crispy great. The “spicy” chicken strip sandwich was cold and not spicy. Frank’s burger was cold. Our solutions to this foul up was: Owner: Use more effort in educating the young staff and less to the decor! Our lesson is use the drive-in…these kids are working hard but need some training about restaurant work.
The attendant "Kevin" at the register really does not want to be there. Took the order left the register without giving me the receipt, we ordered 36.27 AAA42MT4AENA. He brought the Blizzard and they were not turned over I aske about the free Blizzard for my next purchase and was told they don't do it because the are a franchise not a corporate store never mind that the employee had a pullover with the slogan showing the Blizzard being turned upside down. The first thing brought to the table were the Blizzards as to have them melt before we got our food. If this is the best this restaurant can offer I will rather travel a bit further and receive better service in a cleaner Dairy Queen. Three stars because I have eaten there before and I did have an excellent experience.

DQ is only for ice cream. The food is always lukewarm like they only warm it up in a microwave. This isn't a place for food but very perfect for ice cream with the family. The location is always clean and the area is PEACEFUL.
The chili dog was old and the bun was hard as a rock, the caramel sundae was delicious, the dipped cones were good but the chocolate was to thin, the fries were really good, and the saddest Dairy Queen I've ever seen. Secret shoppers should be sent

Kids wanted ice cream, and I wanted a blizzard. Their cones were fine, but my blizzard was prepared rather sloppily. Leaked all over my console cup holder by the time I could get back to the house 1.1 miles away.
I’m a usual customer at this place but I’m he attention the two last times I have been there were horrible. Today I went and ask for a chicken strip basket and they forgot the sauce. I order a ice cream and they gave a different one that i request. This is unacceptable. Your food it’s great but please pleaseeeee make sure that you give what your customer ask. This is the second time on this week that this happens to me. I ate bad because i did not have the sauce and the ice cream were not what i order.
Terrible customer service, I waited over 22 mins for two burgers and fries.... not only were my fries cold when we finally got our food, but also my burger was supposed to be no onions and they we of course onions on my burger. We git apologize or explanation for why we waited so long. Now as I finally get my food there are maybe 4 employees visible but there were two of them sitting down eating as the store is full and people waiting to still order. Sad cause I love Dairy Queen.
everything was great. why 2 stars? whomever designed the survey card i pictured, never tested it. its a failure. don't believe me? test it. give it to someone who has never seen it. how can you hold employees accountable to a busted survey? first off it says grab your receipt and scan qr code. umkay.. what qr code? the receipt has none. it wants a 10 digit survey code. look all you want... nobody is gonna tell you it actually wants the phone number on the receipt. derp... dont hold employees to a survey that has not been tested and debugged. assume nothing. your survey needs to be easy to do and idiot proof. this particular survey tool was created by an idiot. for the record i have nothing to do with the employee named on the card. she was actually very patient with us asking her questions on how to do the survey. we were trying to help her out for her good service and found the survey thing useless.
Signed up for the DQ Blizzard of the month club for a BOGO coupon. Got an email within 24 hours and went to the store in about 7 days to use it. Clicked the link on my phone in the store, but the coupon did not show. Could not view or print it. right at the counter showed them, and tried again. Would not work. Instead of seeing the email, and the Enjoy message I got on my phone and honoring it, they sent me home to print the coupon. of course when I get home, the coupon can't be viewed or printed, because it was already processed on my phone in the store, but never printer or used. Left with no ice cream, but a very sour taste in my mouth. No online help, nobody willing to help in the store. This is not a difficult fix versus loosing a family of 8, with 6 kids from ever coming in again.
They never have chocolate icen cream when I go drive thru. It's been almost a month and every single time they don't have chocolate ice cream
Sadness.... I had the saddest cheeseburger I've ever had in my life. I'm pretty sure it was microwaved. It was probably old also. I ate about 3/4ths of it because I was starving otherwise it shouldn't have been consumed. I hadn't been to this location in a very long time, so I decided to give it another try. I'm sorry I did. Not only is the food sad, but customer service is poor here also. Just skip this place.
Ordinarily the food is ok...just ok. The burgers are tough and not juicy snd they have been the last few visits. DQ just isn't the same. What made things worse was that what we ordered was not prepared correctly (no bacon) and the fryer was broken so no fries or chicken fingers. Bacon was brought to us (along with the rest of what was missing)and I felt it was barely cooked. Additionally, the lady who waited on us was very nice, but apparently she made a mistake and her boss reprimanded her in front of us. The manager needs a lesson in human relations. It was all embarrassing.
This place always has an excuse when they don't have hot fudge or regularly on Sunday evening the chocolate ice cream is either out or the machine is broken. The attitude of the guy behind the counter didn't help.
Disappointed with my strawberry cheesecake blizzard. Its way different than the one i tasted from other countries. And its not even well mixed at all. At the bottom we were like eating vanilla ice cream.

Worst customer service for any DQ. Took 45 minutes to get ice cream as if they had the churn it themselves. Watched two employees trying help a guy on the phone instead of preparing orders for the ten customers in front of him. Do NOT go to this DQ.
This is, by far, the worst DQ I’ve ever been to. They never get the order right, in the drive thru, and no sprinkles. The first few times they didn’t have chocolate sprinkles, now they don’t have any at all. Poor management.

Today I received the worst customer service ever by your manager at this location 1/11/21 at exactly 3:57 PM.ORDER ID: AAA42JUUAJDM . I have been a regular customer at this DQ for some time now and have never encounter such a bad customer service. I bought 2 lunch special and ask for a caramel sundae on both and one with extra caramel for which I paid extra, when I got to the window I noticed that my regular sundae had little caramel and asked your female manager nicely if she can put a bit more caramel because it had almost nothing on top, she responded in a bad manner and told me that that was it that she can not do anything else for me I reply saying that all I need it was the right amount of caramel nothing extra because mine had almost nothing I told her that I was a regular customer and always buy the same thing so I knew how much caramel usually goes on top but she again reply back in a bad manner saying that she will put more this time but this is the last time, this may me very upset like if I was doing something wrong or I had asked for the same thing many times. We went back and forth and exchanged some words I ended up giving all the food back and getting a refund for my entire order and the only thing your manager can said to me was I will give a refund and you can go she told the other male manager just give him a refund no problem. Is this the type of manager you want running your business ? so let’s see and do the math, you loose a customer that goes and spend his money in your restaurant and buys 2 meals 3 times a week that it will NOT go back again, you loose the entire 2 meals because I gave it back to them after I had it in my car and $ 13.49 that I had spend, all this over a bit of caramel ? And your manager was ok and perfectly fine letting money and a customer go away unsatisfying instead of retaining both ?. Sorry for the long review but I seen several managers already a this location and this ones are the worst. There is already a bad vibe about your location in our neighborhood and community because your customer service is pushing us away. Good luck.
I’ve been coming here for years but lately the quality of the food and blizzards has slowly been getting worse I ordered a cookie dough blizzard a couple times and every time is basically vanilla with cookie dough pieces. Looking nothing like the picture. The same for the m&m’s blizzard I’m disappointed and will not be coming here ever again
My husband and I go to this Dairy Queen about once a month to get our ice cream fix. Every time we get a blizzard, we pay about $2 extra per person to get extra toppings, and every single time I find more than half of my blizzard is still vanilla ice cream/not mixed. This time I tried once more and asked them to blend it extra since I keep having this issue. I still ended up with 1/2 the toppings and it wasn’t blended all the way; same with my husbands.
They don't pay attention to what you order and you always have to go back to change it. Employees are not friendly & talk to themselves too much. Maybe that's why they can't get an order right. Also, portions are always small. Cups of ice-cream 3/4 full & the banana boat has more banana than ice cream. Keep going back cause it's the closest to my house. But I wish it changes.
Was looking forward to enjoying the chicken tender box with fries and reeses blizzard. Left Disappointed. Fries were soggy and tasted old. The blizzard had no Reese’s instead they used butterfingers. Terrible services. Trying to get it fixed is annoying. All kid staff maybe hire an adult to over see. The sprite had no flavor as well. Idk if their machine is broken but the syrup to carbonation ratio is wrong. No flavor sprite incredible how bad this place is
Poor customer service! Cashier could not get my order right. By the time she remembered my full order, my other ice cream was melted! What was supposed to a 10 min nice afternoon trip for ice cream turned into an hour of melted milk! Never Again!
I was ignored verbally but stared at and treated like some kind of circus freak. They didn't even start on the order I was picking up until I arrived after having received the order in an empty store with 7 mins between then and my arrival.
I do not recommend this Dairy Queen to any one. Horrible customer service. The cashier who took our order was rude and mixed up all the orders. Took almost an hour to make a small vanilla and Heath blizzard. It's not rocket science! The one thing they should get right, the blizzard, tasted terrible. I had to give a star to write a review, but honestly they don't deserve any.
Incredibly slow service, wrong order most of the time. I've been a few times because it happens to be convenient on my way home from work, I also go there because I am from Texas and Texas knows how to do DQ. Every time I go, I am thoroughly disappointed. The staff acts like I am a burden and rarely gets my order correct. Drive thru takes forever and to be honest the food here isn't that great anyways. Sorry to be so critical but this location gives DQ a bad name... Today was my final straw and I will not be returning.
I love DQ. Always have. I’ve been to this location many times. However, this isn’t the first time going with my Service dog. They told me they required an ID for “that” (referring to my service dog) and wouldn’t let us buy our cake and ice cream that we were going to buy. I will never again come here
This is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever been to. They really do have horrible customer service as the other reviewer said. I have given this place multiple chances. I always ask for a banana split blizzard and it always comes back as basically vanilla ice cream with two maybe three slices of banana if I'm lucky. An actual banana split blizzard has more ingredients(strawberry, pineapple). When I asked the manager (he was the only one at the counter) if I could get any strawberries, he declined and treated me in a very rude, awful manner, not how you treat your customers. The manager had no clue about customer service and is honestly just a miserable person to deal with.
ATTENTION MANAGERS AT THIS LOCATION AND CORPORATE. The employees at this location are ruining your reputation and you will lose business. Tonight at 9pm, had to wait over 5 minutes to be greeted for my order at the intercom...they pretended like they weren’t there and this happens all the time here! 7 employees were working at the time and the 1 car in front of me; they had the same issue too. All employees standing around getting paid for nothing. This past Friday I pulled up to order and was told they were closed, this was 20 mins before closing time. Hire better employees!

Why every single time I go through the drive thru I am instructed to wait on a parking space because a simple burger is not ready. It defeats the purpose of the drive thru. Completely!!
Terrible, the burgers are the worst I have ever had, tasted like cardboard.They weren't even hot, I don't think they were cook fresh at all.
Stopped by with my wife to grab a bite to eat on Monday 5/12. I didn't even get the chance to order. It was not busy inside. We were up next to order. The girl at the counter never acknowledged my wife and I. It legitimately felt like the staff were going out of their way to ignore us. We waited for maybe 15 minutes before we left and went to the Wendy's down the road, where we had awesome customer service and got our food in less time than we spent getting ignored at DQ.
Went inside to get food on a Monday 5/12, night, was not acknowledged by any employee. We waited for our order to be taken for 10 minutes, only to be actively ignored by the girl in the front. After 5 more minutes of being ignored, we left. Worst customer service I've ever experienced in a fast food place. Please hire people who are willing to work.
