Tip: Order extra sauce as the bowls sometimes need more flavor. Consider getting the large bowl for better value and leftovers.

We walked in around dinner time on a Saturday. It wasn’t crazy at all and we were 4th in line. Server was very kind and had great customer service. The food was very good and portions were the size I would expect. Each table was clean and they even brought the food to us. All around great experience and great food at the price I would expect.
Attended the soft opening on 7/30/25. The purpose of the event was to give out a free meal in order for chefs to practice cooking the menu (Had to sign up online). I ordered the steak bowl with yakisoba noodles and veggies (regular size), as well as 2 appetizers, the chicken egg roll (1pc) and crab rangoons (4pcs) to go. Steak bowl w/ noodles was delicious. Steak was a thin cut but not too thin. Veggies consisted of cabbage, broccoli, carrots and zucchini. Everything was cooked perfectly. It was also a good size portion, you won't leave hungry. They gave teriyaki sauce on the side, if getting to go I would ask for an extra if you like lots of sauce. Rangoons were really good, not too heavy on the crab taste but just enough, 10/10. Chicken egg roll was good as well. They gave a sweet and sour sauce packets with the rangoons and egg roll dipping sauce for the egg roll. The restaurant itself was clean, organized, and had teriyaki sauce and sriracha on each table. The staff were very friendly, and accommodating! They also got the food out faster than I anticipated for a soft opening, less than 10 minutes. This experience overall was 10/10 and I was very impressed for their soft opening. I would definitely recommend and will be going back. It's a nice addition to Modesto that serves up something different as well as has healthier options if wanted.
Great food! $25 for the large bowl with two choices of meat and a side of rice, but not bad considering it is fresh and very tasty!
1st time and will come back fresh food I got the spicy chicken not to spicy not over cooked chicken white rice and fresh vegetables
Im so happy that Teriyaki Madness came to Modesto. I loved the Bakersfield location. The best food. And they offer Salmon!
Friendly, good hot food. I’ll be back! Good music too.

The food is good and clean. The people are nice. Honestly nothing bad to say about this place. Well done ✅ I've been here three times and I'll continue to recommend
I cant speak to the atmosphere as we did the curbside pick-up (which was fantastic, only waited maybe a minute or two) but the food was very hot and delicious. I had the large chicken breast protein style/no rice and it was dinner and plenty leftover for dinner the following night. Also tried the potstickers and they were really good too. Joined the loyalty program as I think we will be eating here a lot!
I just finished my delicious spicy teriyaki regular bowl, with brown rice and vegies, and am very satisfied and happy!! I was on my way to In&Out and saw this place, so I parked and looked up the reviews. I almost headed out because of many low reviews, but realized they just opened and hoped they had taken the criticism to heart and fixed things, it seems they have!! When entering, I was greeted and spoken to very politely and cheerfully by staff, only waited 5 minutes for my to go order, the food was of great quality and was fresh, hot, and yummy and I was happy with the portion size for total of $13.05!! The spicy chicken was wonderful, but very spicy, make sure you get a drink, or ask for a cup for water-its free! I will definitely be coming back regularly, happy to have a healthier option to go to!:)
Came in 15 minutes before they closed wonderful service Kim took my order and she was very nice. Very respectful, very helpful. I will be back again.

The food is so delicious. The large bowl is enough to feed two people for dinner. I’ve ordered here twice, once for pick up and once for delivery, the service was great both times. I highly recommend the spicy teriyaki chicken with white rice or noodles.
Food is delicious here! The people leaving bad reviews are crazy. I come here at least once a week and bring a friend and nobody’s been disappointed. Order the spicy chicken if you like real spicy. I like how it’s a little burnt sometimes. Gives the chicken a really good bbq taste.

Store is very clean and pleasant smelling. We went early 1045 and there were already people there. Menu is pretty simple but offers options. Took a while for food to be delivered. Upside it was hot. Orange chicken was the choice. Pretty good. Not amazing but good. Fried rice was better green did not disappoint. Chicken eggroll was bomb. Good flavor and hot. Beer bottle sauce, pretty sure Terriaki, was thick and sultry. Liked it. All in all 8.5 out of ten. Better than Panda but a bit more pricey.
The food was good for what you get but there isn’t too many options. The restaurant layout itself is very odd. From pretty much anywhere you sit you have views into the restrooms depending on if the door is open or not. They also have giant TVs on playing random videos in the back ground. We chose to eat in, and it seems like the majority of people do takeout or delivery cause every few seconds or so someone would be coming in to pick up food and you would hear the door dash chime go off. Also, make sure to ask for napkins since you don’t get any for eating in and there are none out.
Glad to see more restaurants in Modesto finally. I would go there again again again. You do need extra sauce. The spicy chicken was good. Get the large. You money will go a long way. Its enough to eat at least 2x. Its a wait. Probably need more staff. In LA they have places like this right on street or in a food truck. Yes LA is a big city. People travel a distance for the food. Stay fresh. Great taste
Long wait time I think it's relatively new. Not too impressed finding bones in my food didn't help. It doesn't come sauced needed plenty to get flavor out of the meal. Noodles were nice veggies were crisp meats were on the dry side.

Food Was Decent, The Wait for my order was About 25 minutes a Lil Too Long, but there new and need to work put kinks ill try again in a month
The food is actually really good. I’m not a veggies guy, but I like their veggies, and they have Pepsi zero which is a plus. That being said, when it’s 12-15 bucks for a regular size bowl, and I only get a couple small pieces of chicken or my dad only getting 6 or 7 pieces of tofu, it’s a little outrageous. If they fix the portion sizes, this place would be great, but for now it’s just good. I did call and tell them and they offered a free bowl so that was nice.

first bad experience with food in a while. this place COULD be really good but unfortunately falls on its face or maybe i just came at a bad time. to start, the food was very lackluster. chicken was thinner than my fork prongs, noodles were very plain and veggies had no flavor. (idk how it’s possible to cook veggies without flavor) then the place itself was kind of a disaster. sure they had a line out the door but you have 2 registers that could’ve been used. the kitchen is right behind the register and completely visible and ran primarily by high school students. usually isn’t a problem but you could tell they were just in it for the check. and then since the kitchen was visible, you can see the generic kikoman bottle of teriyaki they use for their food. Really? if i wanted to use store bought teriyaki sauce i would’ve made it myself. kind of embarrassing considering their name has teriyaki in it. not sure if ill even return but definitely needs an improvement :/ the only reason i didn’t put a one star is because i haven’t got sick from it… yet
I called the store to place an order but was told I had to do it online. On their à la carte menu, I ordered chicken teriyaki, beef teriyaki, and orange chicken. When I received my order, both the chicken teriyaki and beef teriyaki had no sauce at all. I could understand if I had ordered the “side of chicken breast,” which the menu lists separately, but the items I selected were specifically called “chicken teriyaki” and “beef teriyaki.” Naturally, I expected them to include teriyaki sauce. I called and spoke with someone named Natalia—who confirmed she was the same person I had spoken to earlier about ordering online. I explained that the food I received didn’t have any sauce and that the menu doesn’t mention this. She told me I would need to contact the owner because she has nothing to do with the online menu and could not help me. This is very disappointing. The menu should clearly state if the teriyaki items don’t come with teriyaki sauce. Otherwise, it’s misleading. I shouldn’t have to pay for food that isn’t prepared as described.
Had to try it very disappointed. One strip of chicken down the middle of your bowl. Order 2 large take out for 31 dollars. I thought Unos portion were getting small. theirs is even smaller. 1 sauce per bowl, .75 cents for each additional sauce. We Ordered the Large.. Hate to see the small Save your money!!! Nothing but a Repackage Teriyaki King store!! Go to Ramen 101… More eats for your money

Nothing big here almost reminds me of the quick meal that you could buy at Winco in the pack so I think they’re six dollars. You could buy two and feed a whole family instead of spending $45 to feed 2 . There’s no taste of teriyaki. It’s just a strong, bitter taste of soy sauce mixed with probably a molasses. That’s it after taste is Strong. 😒
Ordered the regular orange chicken bowl and there were maybe 5 pieces of “chicken” total, and they were all just fried batter. Absolutely no meat. Not even worth the drive back to get another bowl, just ate something else instead.
Terrible customer service. This is my first time here mind you, so I didn't know what their two protein meal was about exactly since there were no details on the sign. I asked the employee if it was double the meat and she said yes, so I ordered that with chicken teriyaki. She ended up charging me about $4 more and couldn't explain to me what she did or what the two protein meal actually meant. So she pulled some other employee over and basically told me that it was for two DIFFERENT kinds of meat, which I was not told, along with playing semantics with the ounces. I said I wanted a refund and didn't want any food and they told me they couldn't do that because the owner wasn't there. There were about eight employees there but apparently none of them were managers or the owner... She eventually called the owner and issued a refund but the whole ordeal was a stressful waste of time so I will not be coming back. By the way apparently the two protein offer doesn't count with the salmon (probably not the steak either) and if you order Chow mein noodles they charge extra. They also charge 75 cents for teriyaki sauce on the side. Drinks aren't cheap. Rip off. You're better off going to Panda Express or an actual Chinese restaurant.

Ordered 2 chicken breast bowls, was told it would take longer because it's "cooked fresh." Figured it would be 10-15minutes. Ended up being 40 minutes. Restaurant was virtually empty and the kitchen was full of employees. In the end, only 1 bowl had chicken breast, the other had dry overcooked dark meat. Raw vegetables, not steamed. Mostly rice. Would not recommend ever.
Service was the best part of the experience. Food was not so good. I ordered salmon with the fried rice. Salmon was extra dry like they had made it days previous and just reheated it. No juicy-ness to it and they gave me a small flimsy piece. I also ordered the regular not the small… so I was a bit confused why I got such a small piece. Also ordered spicy chicken yaki style, noodles fell apart like over cooked spaghetti. Was just very unsatisfying for the amount of money we paid.
