Velvet Grill & Creamery is a great local spot I always enjoy visiting. The food is excellent, and they really know how to make eggs exactly the way you ask — perfectly cooked every time. The service is friendly and attentive, making you feel right at home. It’s a charming, locally owned restaurant with plenty of character, and definitely one of my go-to places.

Infinitely better server than our first visit. (Individual likely removed) Excellent service, prompt, clearly communicator, non-intrusive and generally helpful. Food: hands down the best hashed Brown, eggs and bacon I've ever had in 65 years. Yes, this "could" be messed up, but not here, EGGSELENT!

My wife and I eat here once a month. Their chicken fried steak 🥩 is soo delicious!! Hailey provides really good service. She has waited on us in the past as well as today and always makes our dining experiences enjoyable. Came here again 11/15/21 we have not been here for a while. The food and service never disappoints. I tried one of their homemade ice cream sodas and it was delicious! My wife had the breakfast combo, I had the sirloin dip with fries

The customer service was amazing! My boy had an issue with the cheese on his burger so the waiter gladly got a new burger without cheese. Other than the great service as the great food. The peppermint Oreo shake was delicious. The cheddar bacon burger was served with onions rings and tasted great, even the regular velvet burger was scrumptious. Whenever I crave a burger and a shake I know where to go!

Best spot in town for a milkshake! Especially that they give you the whole tin on the side. Enjoyed the variety on the menu, was able to order a bit of breakfast and lunch. Eggs were cooked perfectly, all the food tasted fresh and was made to order. The servers are friendly and attentive. One of my favorite spots in town, the sweet potato fries! Despite being busy the food came out fairly quickly. The parking lot should be remodeled as parking was hard to find. Overall would recommend!

We embarked on a culinary adventure with the Baja burger and a bacon burger, accompanied by a whimsical coffee shake and a delightful banana split shake. The burgers, plump and juicy, were like flavor-packed treasures, and the grilled jalapeño on the side was cooked to perfection—just the right kick! The shakes were frosty delights, perfect for a sun-drenched day. Our service was swift and cheerful, as if the staff were fairy godmothers answering our every query. The atmosphere sparkled with cleanliness and charm. This place can get bustling, but we magically arrived just after the rush, making our experience all the more enchanting!

An American diner with great food, great ice cream and a warm and family-friendly atmosphere— what’s not to love??? Got two of their house favorites, the Velvet Chicken Sandwich on Sourdough (which is their extra-lip smacking version of BLT replete with tender sliced grilled chicken and avocado), and their California burger, plus their hearty sweet potato fries with savory chipotle dip and a thick and generous Chocolate-Strawberry shake to top it all off! Staff was accommodating and courteous and all the tables were clean and tidy, which is harder to find these days than it should be! Will absolutely stop in again my next time through. Thanks!

Fave was the chocolate merlot ice cream. Also enjoyed the liver and onions as it came with yummy grilled veggies. We had enough for lunch the next day. Great value and lots of choices.

Best breakfast I've ever had. Went with my in laws and wife and everyone was satisfied! I had the chicken fried steak, eggs with country potatoes and biscuits with gravy. My in laws had eggs and linguica. My wife had the blueberry pancakes in laws had buckwheat with oatmeal pancakes. On hit!!!! We'll be going back with our kids. We ordered the fried chicken meal for take home for dinner and my inlaws as well. Chicken was over cooked so the breading was burnt a little. They also make their own ice cream and have about 24 flavors.

This place was remodeled a while back so it looks nice inside. The sirloin steak salad is good if your trying to eat healthy. The hungry hobo breakfast plate is one of my favorites, along with the banana & pecan pancakes. The burgers are good too. Their staff is nice and attentive.

It was my friends birthday and I asked him where he would like to go to celebrate, he chose the Velvet Grill & Creamery because he wanted to get the pork chop dinner plate. I wound up getting the broasted chicken dinner with mashed potatoes an a salad for my sides. Two out of the four pieces of broasted chicken were pretty good (leg and breast) but the other two I didn’t really care for as they were a little rubbery (wing and thigh). If I came back I would probably try something else. My other friend got the meatloaf but mentioned he felt like it was all meat and was missing something to the flavor. The birthday boy enjoyed his pork chops. For dessert we each got ice cream, I got birthday cake and it was very rich & thick with flavor. My friend got the port (wine) ice cream but because the alcohol in it, it was a little watery though he still enjoyed it.

It was my first time eating here today, I ordered a bacon burger with fries and It was cold when I received it, i didn't want to be that person that sends a perfectly good plate back but I wanted hot delicious food. The waitress was super nice and informed me that some of the cooks were in training she also took my burger off my bill. Thank you cooks for the melting bacon cheeseburger the second time around. I'll be back to try your ice cream 🍨
