Category defining authentic Mexican food. Large portions, flavourful and well platted food. The service was also prompt. A lot of people do takeaways. High recommended. This place is worth the visit.

I love Mexican food and go to all of the Mexican restaurants in the area, as well as in New Jersey and this one has my favorite margaritas and salsa. The food is always really good too. It’s a bit small so it can be crowded but it’s so worth it. Also, my seven month old son loves their re-fried beans.

Seating was not really available upon entry but we were seated within 5 minutes. This restaurant came highly recommended by multiple people so we finally decided to take the leap and try it. It was delicious. Juicy white meat chicken 👌 crisp lettuce, firm tomatoes, nice sauce. Everything with meat was loaded to the brim. Very generous servings. Salsa was boss. Great prices. They did pretty good for such a busy night and only having 2 ladies running the floor. Overall a positive experience. I will be eating here again. I'm actually eating my leftovers as I type this 😂

I’m torn because I like a lot of the food here but they wayyyy overdo it with the onions. Carne enchilada very good! But I smell like onions for like 24 hours afterwards lol. Service a little inconsistent

I'm a little drunk today LOL. Food was good, waiters and waitresses were Nice. Okay. . I can't think of anything else to write. Because of the margarita lol. wait.. okay one thing. It's good to make a reservation In Advance especially Friday night. The place could be busy. So... Good place to go so far 😁 Yum.

Have had good experiences with online take out and delivery from Tulcingo. The orders are normally ready or out momentarily. I had the Chicken Enchiladas for 11.95 and it was enjoyable. Handmade tortillas shredded chicken that was moist, plenty of stretchy melty cheese with the red sauce was tasty. Rice & beans on the side, nice size portions. Food came out rapidly and included utensils and napkins. Very important because im working 👌 Nice friendly staff, plenty of seats to dine In. They serve Margaretta's and beer with attentive polite wait staff. Thank You , keep up the great work

Maybe next time it may be different, never got my order of taco 🌮.. but, I guess it was busy with take outs.. maybe next time more Bar attention/service ... the only had 2 tables to waiter .. Best sangrias.

We have been eating at Tulcingo for several years. Our last visit was pretty disappointing in food quality. The Pollo Oaxaqueno was poor - the chicken was a dry tough plank. The cactus, which is usually delicate and a great side, was also tasteless and dry. I had a chicken enchilada dish that was ok, but the rice and beans were flavorless. The beans were watery... ? I don't know about going back - I'm wondering if they changed cooking staff or suppliers? I hope they get their game back.
