Great spot after a trip to the mountains. Carb load before too. I got the orange chicken bowl, large, vegetables on the side. It was a lot of food. Good value!

This place was super tasty. It felt like everything was super fresh and made with high quality ingredients. The rice and veggies were really warm and the meat was steaming. A great meal honestly. Will consider going back the text time in town.

Delicious and super affordable. You can get a two-item combo for $8.19, plus tax. Our meal came with chicken teriyaki, beef, mixed steam veggies and white rice. One order will seriously feed you the whole day! The chicken was good, nothing bad to say. The star though is the beef, which is shaved thin, like shabu style. Everything was so moist and and flavorful! You can get packets of ginger for extra crunch and spice.

No meat on my ribs, very similar to beef jerky drenched in bbq sauce

I ordered two (2) dinners, one shrimp and beef very good, the other one was the tilapia and beef. They are not using tilapia. I buy tilapia often and this did not taste like tilapia. Very disappointed.

Some of the workers are fast but most of them forget you're even there sitting with nothing, this used to be a better location but has gone down, I ordered 2 drinks and waited close to 15 mins while it was not busy at all.

Chicken has skin. Sauce applied over skin. If you don't want to eat the skin you get no sauce.

I'm a huge yoshinoya fan. Huge!!! This place is a little disappointing. Service is super slow and portions half of what I get at most beef bowls. Three stars merely because I love beef bowls food.

Portion is underwhelming small in regular chicken bowl and chicken overcooked with so little teriayaki sauce like they are trying to cut cost. Try other location and you can tell the difference.

Well, I love the beef bowl and all, I also like the new items, but I was very surprised when I finished my combo order only to find out that a drink is not included! I love the 1 in Pasadena on Colorado and Hill. When I order my combo, it comes with a drink and dessert or salad..

Experience Many times short of items for packaging orders. The X-large items seem only got more with rice. One time used a coupon ordered four items, but a girl charged a full price, asking the cashier why she charged full price with coupons order, she first said your coupon is expired, I showed her an other same coupon in my hand, and the coupon isn't expired, after she verified that and she even asked me, do you want those money back? That is so funny!

(Sigh) I hardly come by this one, but I've 100% of the time had an issue. One time there was no terriyaki sauce on my chicken, this time they had me wait an hour and didn't have my order there, then they found it. It was a quick stop and i had a real problem because I over stood. Just tried to take my son for something quick. It kinda messed with my night, that day. That was about a week ago.

Drive thru order, first time trying. Server was patient and explained the food and even recommended some options. Actual food was somewhat bland.

Service was slow. One person working both the drive thru as well as inside dining and only one cook as well. Need to have more people working on weekends!

Got a regular teriyaki beef ribeye bowl with brown rice. I know how the flavor feels like is a personal thing, but the rice was not fully cooked was definitely a true thing.

The past experiences with this branch has been good since I always dined in. But these days, we have no choice but to carry out. And today, I ordered two bowls and specified to have extra white onions and spicy. Unfortunately, none of them was spicy, and I was given a whole bunch of green onions. The order takers weren't paying attention and color blind!

I ordered Chicken bowl with brown rice and veggies. Chicken was so dried like rubber. Brown rice with shells. Well, you paid what you get. Can't complain much. * A kind manager allowed an old couple to use an expired coupon. 👍

The last 2 times I have been here my order has been wrong. Ordering and paying for the ribeye but getting the regular beef was very disappointing. But when I want some rice this place is convenient and reasonably priced.

every 4th time I go here they mess the order up. Then you go inside and they keep the messed up order. Not sure if they do it on purpose so they can get free meals. But if you're screwing up orders the customer should keep the food so you learn to do things right.

3/31/21-2:00pm-Ordered a couple large bowls in the drive thru and they didn't put any forks in the bag. Really inconvenient. Now I have to assume they're not too competent over there and double check everything.

This Yoshinoya has gone downhill. There is less meat and the chicken is so dry that even the sauce doesn't cover the dryness. We gave this place way too many chances. We're moving on.

Customer service is great, people are friendly, but a specific item was really bad at this yoshi... clam chowder Smelled, was watery, and chunky at the same time(what!) And yes it had gone bad. The chicken and other Items were good. I'm not expecting Super great food from a fast food joint, but they knew exactly what they were serving my family when it came to the clam chowder so it makes me question the quality of the chicken and beef and other food items at this place.

Very over-priced. Small portion, smaller portion of beef but big cabbage. Regular beef bowl almost $8 for a toddler size bowl. The juice tasted water down, like they didn't want to make more so they just diluted what they had. Should have we went next door for three pieces of chicken for $3.

I am a huge Yoshinoya fan, It is the closest thing to Japanese cuisine you can get in the states at a FAST FOOD restaurant, what is this? a true insult to the culture and a shame that they thought this mess was appropriate to serve to a a customer, at that a LOYAL customer. The meat resembles tapeworms, there is no vegetables, and this was not served in the proper container at all never have I had Yoshinoya in this container. There is a quarter of rice compared to the typical portions, This location clearly does not care about customer satisfaction and is comfortable with serving in-presentable food. Do not waste your time or money

Shrimps dough was not fully cook. I was very dissatisfied with my order made at this location of 707 E. Huntington Dr. Monrovia ca 91016. I order it to go and once at job site I found out of my shrimp order was not cook property. This was order #218 at 11:43Am. So, today I will be forced to fast.

Very slow service and while my family and I were dining in we had noticed one of Yoshinoya's young female cashier handling cash and change from customers in her hands and resting it next to the food counter where she handles all the food container tops and the food for the customers without using any sanitizer or washing her hands first! Wondering why she didn't put any of the customers cash payments in the register before handling any food! Hopefully no one gets sick 😷

Horrible. My mom and I went through drive through. The lady at window was nice but she was sick with a bad cold. Should not have been working with food. Than, got home, the fried shrimp was white and doughy. Like they tried to microwave them. Could not eat them at all. Spoiled my whole appetite. Called the manager he was rude. Only wanted to replace 1 of the dinners when both were horrible. Both dinners should have been replaced. So, I called the 800# to make a complaint. This was on 3.3.2016 rcvd no response, called back on 3/4 no response. Called back 4/8 still no response. So much for good food and good customer service at yoshinoya. No wonder why they are slowly but surely going under. IJS.

If I could give zero stars I would. I ordered Talapia with a side of cole slaw, no rice. I've only ever had it grilled from there so I thought it automatically came that way & the girl never asked how I wanted it. What I got was fish that was lightly breaded, over fried, dried out, rice & steamed veggies. Beware & check your order before leaving. Oh & I asked for teriyaki sauce & got butter garlic sauce. Unbelievable! They didn't get a single thing right on my order!

I LOVE yoshinoya. But they have now started to skimp on the food especially the chicken. They're literally counting the slices of chicken they're putting in your plate. It's a travesty.

Their food quality is highly questionable. My chicken tasted off, as in old & nasty. The 'hot vegetables' were cold & soggy. I threw it away. The sodas has too little syrup/ too much carbonation. They were just watery. I'll never be eating there again.

Just had the worst lunch ever at this location. We ordered large beef. The rice was so soaked and soggy that it was like a rice soup. The veggie’s portion was bigger than the beef side that you wonder where was the beef? Beef bowl uses weight to measure its beef in each bowl. Since this location give you more sauce, that means you get less beef, more veggie, and a very soggy rice. During the lunch rush hour, beef bowl’s employee came by to take out the trash from the trash can. Unfortunately, we sat right next to a trash can. So, we asked the employee to wait for us to finish our meal because we were almost done. The employee looked at us with disgust and discrimination then fling the smelly and disgusting trash bag our way while making tons of noises to show his anger! The manger looked at his action and laughed!
