That was…DELICIOUS! I’m reviewing this AT the restaurant, poor folks had the power cut on them but still maintained a positive attitude. I’m glad I decided to strip out of my wetsuit after a freezing cold swim to drive over here to try out their sushi, I inhaled the entire row in one breath 🙈 I was worried about parking but I came at 6pm and street parking seems to be pretty free outside of business hours (9am-6pm), easily found parking spots by the restaurant. I would highly recommend coming here for their sushi!

My husband and I have been coming here for years. The fish used to make the sushi is always fresh. The sushi bar looks great. They do get really busy on Holidays.

Do not judge a book by its cover! When we pulled up, my husband was hesitant. But after looking at so many great reviews I was insistent on going in. - We had a group of 10 and the Crystal Fish staff were extremely accommodating. There was constantly water in all of our glasses. The food was absolutely amazing! I have had a lot of sushi. This was by far the best experience I have had. It was so fresh and the prices are so reasonable! We had quite a few newbies trying sushi and they all loved it. Shawna’s chimichanga roll (not pictured) was a hit with everyone at the table! I would highly suggest this to anyone who is a newbie with sushi. - If you are on the fence about where to get sushi, you should come to Crystal Fish!

Exceptional food. Fish was super fresh. Sashimi was some of the best I have ever had. Highly recommend the dragon ball Z. Staff are very knowledgeable about gluten free. Very friendly and quick service.

Okay, I've been trying to get here for a very long time. I finally did it and I looked through the menu thinking I wanted something that's off the beaten path. Something I have not seen before so I tried two of the appetizers. First appetizer was the Dragon Ball Z and you know what, that was super amazingly good. I loved it. Crispy rice patty with soft center with all the toppings that are listed (now a favorite ) Then I ordered the takoyaki which is the octopus round pastry with bonito flakes. Now this one is creamy inside with a bit of octopus. This will fill you a little. Very nice, different last is the Frankenstein roll spicy tuna topped with salmon. This was also wonderful. I reeeeally enjoyed Crystal Fish, my definite go to for sushi. Did I mention the rice is fresh and perfectly cooked? That makes a huge difference

Food was very good! Definitely recommend the Death Star roll and Shawna’s chimichanga roll. Just seemed like a lack of service but benefit of the doubt maybe it was an off day. Either way food is good and worth it.

Service was not good. Waited 30 minutes for appetizer, drinks weren't refilled, anytime there was a request made for something extra, i.e we asked for straws and napkins, it seemed as though we were a major inconvenience. The food was spectacular and absolutely delicious!

Sushi was presented well, and tasted fresh. Generous portion sizes. The service wasn’t great, we did wait 25 minutes after receiving our drinks to order our food. Feels more like a ma and pa type of atmosphere.

I got a to-go order on 12/1/25 and one of the items was Dragon Ball Z, an appetizer. Upon eating with my friend, she discovered a bug in the dish as seen in the picture. This was extremely disappointing as both of us really like this place. We returned back to the restaurant and gave the item back. They did offer to make it again, but it was hard to get back in the mood and we declined. Later when we returned, we tossed the remaining of the food as well. Likely just a mistake but I regard Crystal Fish with high standards and as seen by so many reviews, they are a good establishment. So, this happening was quite disappointing. I hope they are more careful next time.

We made a reservation for 6:00 PM on a Thursday for my brother’s birthday, but the reservation didn’t seem to matter at all. The place was so packed that we were seated in the back by the bathrooms. We didn’t receive menus or drinks until around 6:15 PM. The server immediately let us know they were short staffed and that a chef had called out — which we understood — but the service never improved. We ordered two appetizers (one spicy garlic edamame and one regular) and green tea. We didn’t get our waters until about 6:25 PM, and the appetizers didn’t arrive until 6:30 PM. At that point, we’d been sitting there for 30 minutes and still hadn’t even been asked if we wanted to order rolls or entrees. We finished the appetizers and waited until 6:45 PM, but the waitress never came back. We finally walked to the front to ask for the check. Shockingly, the total for two edamame and a green tea was $32 — for boiled green beans and tea. I paid $40 and we left. The food was mediocre, the service was unacceptable, and overall it was a terrible experience. We won’t be returning. For comparison, we went to Zum Sushi afterward, were seated immediately, and had a great time.
