I found this restaurant by chance while looking for a venue for my daughter's First Communion, and I was truly in luck. My husband and I scouted the venue a few weeks beforehand, taking advantage of the opportunity to have dinner together and try a few dishes from the à la carte menu, and I fell in love! The atmosphere is rustic, with exposed brick, a vast selection of wines from the cellar displayed on the walls, and exposed beams. It's truly a well-kept and welcoming place. The menu is varied and of excellent quality. The staff is so kind and helpful that words cannot describe it, attentive to every need. On the day of the Communion, they were impeccable, far exceeding our expectations. The presentation of the "imperial table" completely satisfied us, and every guest complimented us on our choice of location and the quality of the menu. I highly recommend it for any occasion: whether it's a casual dinner with friends or family, or for more important occasions and ceremonies.

Dinner with Smartbox. A very nice and intimate place under the Hs Hotel in Monza. Ample parking outside, very friendly staff. Excellent, high-quality food; we really enjoyed it and will definitely be back. They offer an a la carte menu and various set menus with a wide selection. Highly recommended.

Mia moglie ed io abbiamo deciso di usare il voucher Wanderbox al ristorante "La taverna dei sapori" a Monza. Location molto carina e staff gentilissimo. Il proprietario ci ha proposto il menù pranzo in quanto non essendo sera non riuscivano a gestire il menù alla carta. La cucina proposta era semplice (spaghetti al pomodoro, arrosto di tacchino e patate) ma nel complesso siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti perché era tutto veramente buono! Come extra un ottimo tiramisù. Tornerei la sera per provare il menù alla carta visto la buona mano dello chef.

Molto veloci e attenti. Cibo buono. Personale cordiale, simpatici e attenti ai bisogni dei clienti. Posizione favorevole e facilmente raggiungibile. Il locale è rustico ma elegante, l'esterno è molto carino anche per delle foto. Ci tornerei.

Christmas Lunch I would have preferred to be in the first room where the atmosphere was more intimate and distinctive, but not knowing there was another section open for the occasion, they placed us at their discretion. As for the lunch itself, there was a long wait at the beginning between the welcome and the appetizers, but then the rest went smoothly. We had a decent lunch, I'd say average and nothing exceptional. In my opinion, it's better to go there on other occasions where I've heard good reviews (except for the smart boxes, apparently).

Good food, friendly and discreet staff. Very clean place. We had risotto alla Milanese, which was truly remarkable. The cured meat and cheese appetizers were also good. The serving was a bit slow. In any case, a highly recommended stop.

A nice place with a direct connection to the neighboring hotel. Good food at reasonable prices. We enjoyed what we ate. An appetizer of cured meats and cheeses, two first courses, a second course, dessert, liqueur, coffee, house wine, and water cost approximately €43.

Very nice restaurant and friendly, professional staff. As for the quality of the food, I would say it was good. The first courses were good with homemade pasta. The only thing I didn't like was the sausage meatballs, which were too salty and the meat was of poor quality. Excellent polenta and everything else. Nothing to say. I'll definitely be back!

A strange little place with the absolute best service. So friendly and kind . A very weird lack lustre kareoke as entertainment which we were quite confused about. Starters were exceptional particularly the burrata salad and bread selection. My sea bass was very over cooked and dry. Desert good. A cute little place would recommend but definitely go for pasta rather than fish 🙂

pessima esperienza Ristorante di un hotel, che per avere più visibilità ha deciso di collaborare con wonderbox come partner, peccato che se ti rechi per una cena da loro utilizzando il buono della wonderbox (e non come "normale cliente" che paga il pasto con carta/contanti) vieni trattato come un emarginato. Le mie non sono parole esagerate, ma bensì la mia personale esperienza presso questa taverna, dove mi sono recata per cenare con il mio ragazzo utilizzando una wonderbox regalatami (prenotando la sera prima telefonicamente e SPECIFICANDO che avevo un buono wonderbox). Non appena ci siamo seduti, il caposala ci ha ripresi con tono elevato (infatti tutti i presenti ci guardavano) insistendo che non aveva alcuna prenotazione con wonderbox per quella sera e che quindi il menù dedicato non era pronto pertanto non poteva farci mangiare. Per fortuna la collega è intervenuta e nel giro di dieci minuti avevamo davanti sia il menù cartaceo per i clienti wonderbox sia i piatti che allego in foto. Se questo è il modo di attirare nuova clientela e fidelizzarla... Tanto vale non accettare collaborazioni con altri partner come wonder box o the fork... A mai più!

We came to this restaurant because some friends of ours gave us a tasting (aperitif with wines and a platter) on Wonderbox, and among the various options, this restaurant's location seemed welcoming. We arrived and were told they needed the paper flyer, not the online one. No problem, we had the photo sent to us and emailed it to them in PDF format. What I find absurd is the treatment. They made us go to the table, and for half an hour no one came to take the reservation because we hadn't yet sent the email, even though they knew we actually had this Wonderbox. I found this appalling. The table service was terrible; the girl had no desire to welcome us or be there to take our orders, visibly annoyed. During the wine presentation, she only mentioned two. We weren't familiar with them, and rather than explaining their characteristics, she looked at us listlessly and said, "Oh, okay, I'll just do it randomly." She didn't even let us taste it to see if we were happy with our choice. She asked us if we wanted water, pointing out that it wasn't included in the tasting, and that's fine, the point is the manner. We're two 23-year-olds, why do you have to make us feel like we literally didn't have 30 euros for a truly poor aperitif? When it was time to pay, we headed to the cashier, and the cashier, who was really grumpy and uninterested, also said "3 euros," as if to emphasize that we hadn't spent much, but, I repeat, we came for an aperitif that was free. There was a clear difference in service between those who were having dinner and those who weren't. Never again will we have such a bad experience.
