Such a hidden gem. Everything was phenomenal. From the service to the food to the amazing wine tasting event I was able to join! Could not recommend this place more. It's not often I'm reminded of those special restaurant you would go to as a kid with your whole family for special events, Amoroma reminded me of just that! I can't wait to take go back for that amazing ravioli.
The calamari is plentiful and delicious! The spinach salad is a little plain but very healthy. And the pasta dishes are great.

We're here at least once a month! Great place for families but feels a little extra special with white tablecloths. Highly recommend the halibut for non-pasta eaters, and my kids are obsessed with the spaghetti and meatballs!
Lovely ambiance, delicious food, and friendly staff. Highly recommend the ragu pappardelle and flourless chocolate cake!
Had a beautiful Holiday dinner with friends here! The fresh decorations, quality of ingredients, and delicious espresso was such a joy to experience. This location is beautiful for a dinner with parents, a date, holdiay party or anytime one wants to have a warm, welcoming atmosphere with delicious food and friends. I highly recommend this local and the owners are such beautiful people! Honoured to have had this experience and look forward to enjoying more times at this beautiful restaurant.
Amoroma is a great spot for an upscale and relaxing atmosphere with great service and food. We stopped in midday for nocciola gelato on a hot day. It was perfect.
This is a hidden gem in Moraga. My husband and I went on a Monday not expecting to find much open. Amoroma was open and doing a brisk business. We had the fried calamari which fresh and hot and generous. The marinara dipping sauce was simply delicious. We both really enjoyed our entrees. The wine list has nice options and our waiter could not have been more helpful. We returned 2 weeks later with our 2 young grandkids 6, 9, and once again we had a terrific experience. The Shirley Temples were well received! We love supporting our local restaurants and Amoroma exceeded our expectations!! :-)
This was our 5th dinner here in the past year and it was another great experience. The portions are always too much. Luis, our waiter was really great. We live in Lafayette but this meal experience is better than most places here. We ordered a linguini and clam at a Lafayette restaurant on Mt Diablo Blvd on Friday, although its a lovely place, I had 6 clams. Tonight I had more clams than I could eat. Same price. My husband had a wonderful pasta dish. Amoroma is such a hidden gem and Luis will take good care of you.
Moved to Moraga from Lafayette recently and went for the very first time around 4 PM on a Tuesday. We were the only ones there. Very nice ambiance with a fancier side and a more casual bar side of the restaurant. The food was unbelievable and very delicious. Service kind and pleasant. We had the meatballs and polenta - highly recommend both! Reasonably priced for the quality and portion. We ordered a nice bottle of wine - ‘22 sangio from Umbria and had a few appetizers and very much enjoyed ourselves. They have a back room for private dining or groups and a nice outdoor patio as well which we would enjoy in the future during warmer weather. My only wish is that they would have a weekday happy hour M-Th with a few dollars off a cocktail or beer and maybe a few happy hour appetizers and then we wouldn’t normally have to go to Lafayette Park Hotel or batch and brine for their weekday happy hours which is our typical weekday happy hour escape. Bring happy hour to Moraga please!
Ristorante Amoroma is a gem in the town of Moraga. I recently attended one of their wine tasting events and was able to enjoy multiple different kinds of wine for a reasonable price. It was held in their lounge area that also offered a good variety of beer on tap. For Dinner, I ate the filet and pear salad, which have been added to my long list of favorite dishes from here. From the food to the wine to the staff, the experience here is high quality. I will continue to recommend this restaurant to my family and friends and I can’t wait for my next visit.
Hidden Gem! Quint restaurant with white tablecloths and welcoming bar. Enjoyed a delicious dinner before a movie. Loved the Homemade spinach, ricotta raviolis. The pasta sauce was outstanding. Warm friendly service. Will definitely go back.
A comprehensive pasta menu ,some they've invented in house. Salads are spectacular. I go once a week. ⁸
Had the chicken sandwich, my company had the meatballs, ravioli, and rockfish sandwich. All looked really good. The salad was fresh that came with the sandwiches. The bread was crisp and toasted perfectly. Portion sizes was a good amount of food. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Price point standard for the Bay Area.

What a surprising treat. We try and support local businesses as much as we can so we decided to try Ristorante Amoroma. We arrived at 6:15 on Saturday and were immediately seated by a charming host. The food was delicious and the service fantastic, for a reasonable price. We paid $76 for 2 cocktails, 1 appetizer and 2 entrees. The only reason I didn't give this restaurant 5 stars was not due to the restaurant but to the couple bringing a screaming toddler to a cozy dining establishment where it was clear couples appeared to be having "date night" or at the least an intimate dinner night out. This place is a must try but not for young children/babies in such close quarters. Lastly, a bonus, they offer a lovely brunch on Sundays. I am looking forward to trying out their brunch offerings.

Food was fantastic. Service was ok and a little slow on our drink order. They did offer a veteran's discount that we deeply appreciated
Grest food and the server was great also... Lovely setting

Heavy Italian food, slow service, medium high price point. I got the chicken and it was very dry like the chicken never once drank a drop of water it it’s entire life. We were seated in an obscure corner on a tiny 2 person table while most of the restaurant was empty and one guy sat by himself on a 4 seat table. Just really random spot. Tiramisú was ok tho.

It’s alright. I personally think the lunches here are better - service is friendlier and the sandwiches are better than the pastas. Also the restaurant is always very clean, which I appreciate. The dinner service tonight was god awful! Our server was so rude (we got the bald guy) he seems like he hates his job - doesn’t smile, he’s kinda pushy, no patience. Additionally the free bread was super stale! Why would you serve your paying customers warm stale bread, that’s just shady. The pasta here is awful - I ordered a cannelloni, I took one bite, sent it back and requested it be taken off my bill. Yes, it was that bad. It’s not a traditional cannelloni at all, a traditional cannelloni is supposed to be a stuffed pasta, this was not stuffed. Just rolled up pasta topped with HELLA cheese (seriously wayyy too much cheese), and a few pieces of mushrooms sprinkled in, the menu said there would be veal in there but no veal. In summation lunch - yes, dinner - no; and someone please talk to the bald guy about his customer service .
Food was not fresh. Had no flavor. Service was terrible. Had to remind waiter of missing drinks. Never came to refill water or ice teas.

I came here with my husband for a good Italian food (so we thought). We ordered a salad to share and we each had a pasta dish. I had the fresh fettuccine with seafood. My fettuccine noodles came waaaay undercooked. I asked the server if they could make me a new one because it just didn’t taste well...my server insisted that the noodles were cooked “al dente”, but trust me I know and can tell the difference between al dente and undercooked pasta noodles. She, the server took my plate and I’ve waited for 15-20 minutes (to be exact) for my new seafood pasta. OMG, to my surprise, they didn’t make me a new dish, they literally put my dish in a microwave and just heated it!!!! I could tell that’s exactly what they did because I had half eaten a shrimp and calamari from the old dish I had originally and they’re back on what’s supposedly my newly made pasta fettuccine with seafood!! And what’s worse was that my dish tasted nothing like how it was originally. I seriously felt like eating a chef boyardee straight out of the can food! I mean look at the photo! I told the server about it all she coulda ay was “I’m so sorry” oh and btw, here’s your check! I don’t think I can ever go back to this place.
