A gem! Food, service, and atmosphere were terrific! Nice view of the harbor. Fish and chips are a must, but they have many other great options

Wonderful place for local seafood. Very nice outside patio overlooking a small harbor. I had a great grilled sablefish! It's pet friendly.

The food was spot on delicious! My seafood Alfredo was packed full of flavors! My husband’s grilled halibut dinner with rice and steamed veggies was well worth the drive!

My gosh the best!!! Baja style (cod) tacos. Go in order your food and you'll get a buzzer, find a table, wait for buzzer to go off and ger ready to enjoy some good eaten'. The atmosphere was beautiful and relaxing. Service excellent. So happy we stopped in. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend going there.

Always a great meal at Sea Harvest. Fresh Fish, Nice Staff, Clean Environment, and Stellar Views. Wine by the bottle is a great buy for dining in or on the patio. Tacos are great, Calamari is great, pretty much all the fried things are great and they also offer non-fried options too. Plenty of parking.

Wonderful food at great prices! Fun atmosphere to watch sea otters. Our favorite place during our time in the area.

Food was great and very fresh. We ate there twice because it was so good. Great value for the price.

I love taking a trip to Moss Landing and stopping by Sea Harvest. The food is reasonably priced and most importantly delicious. I usually order the fish a chips combo that comes with calamari, shrimp, coleslaw and fries. The clam chowder bread bowl is always a good choice. They do serve beer on tap, not a lot of options but there is a cooler unit with many other options...they even have wine! The seating is either inside or outside. I prefer an outside seat where you can watch kayaking and all the sea animals. Overall, a great place to check out.

Great food and atmosphere! Even had outlets to charge stuff up.

C

Great fish and chips after a long day on the water. I wish they would plate the fish away from the fires so they don't get soggy...scarf it for perfect fish n chips or wait and have soggy ones 🤔

C
Cecilia Ford

Had the sand dabs special. Little fish with awesome tender texture and flavor. Different experience than the Carmel location- the view here is nice, but I overall prefer the Carmel place. The scallops they serve fried are smaller than I'd like. Still tasty! Very kind and helpful staff.

A hidden gem. The fish is amazing. Fresh and well prepared. Very down to earth restaurant with a great deck and nice people. It's one of my favorite stops on the way to Monterey/Big Sur.

Wonderful restaurant and gluten-free. They took precautions for my celiacs disease, very friendly, and the food was exceptional.

Fresh fried rockfish and great shrimp ceviche, amazing view of the slough at an affordable price - great place to chow down after an afternoon kayaking and fighting the spring winds and ogling at the abundant wildlife.

Foods are good. Fish and chips are fresh and crunchy. Halibut Sandwitch has a very big chuck of halibut. Location is unbeatable. View is gorgeous.

So nice… low-key environment; family friendly; right on the water; warmers on ceiling made staying to admire the view sweet!! Great staff!! Great food - I had chowder and fries — YUM!!

Great food, great atmosphere, just a bit pricey. Stopped by after a solo hike in Elkhorn Slough for fish and chips and an Arizona iced tea. Service was fast and you get to pick your seating; came around 2pm and there were plenty of tables and parking spaces available. Fun place to try if you are visiting the area for the day.

One of the best seafood restaurant we visited in the recent months. This place is just right of the highway 1 and as we went early, did not find too much crowd. Food was delicious and service was quick. Although not an extensive menu to choose from compared to nearby seafood restaurants, they had plenty of options. I would much prefer to have properly cooked quality and tasty food, than a lengthy confusing menu. Also, it has a view of the jetty area and the inlet, and ample outdoor seating arrangements. Would like to go back again for sure and try some different items.

R
Raish S

Absolutely loved everything here - the food, the staffs, the gorgeous sunset view and sound of ocean underneath the deck. The icing on the cake is it is right next to Monterey Bay Kayaks which makes it a perfect Kayak and then delicious dinner combo. Will come here again for sure if we’re around the area.

Fresh, fresh, fresh! Nice atmosphere, Halibut was very good. Clam chowder was a bit bland but overall not bad. Fried options had the best coating I've had in years! No oily feeling in your mouth after eating. Highly recommend .

J
Jordan DeMello

Some of the best fish tacos (and garlic fries) I’ve had in some time. Fries were incredibly crispy, none of that soggy gross vegetable oil fried stuff. Only knock down is I would recommend 2 tortillas per taco — taco truck style, as they tend to tear apart almost immediately. Still tastes just as good!

Excellent quality, food and service for the price. Great location, plenty of seating and satisfied with everything we have ordered. Oysters fresh, clam chowder thick and creamy, shimp burritos tasty, fish & chips high quality, and their grilled 4 fish taco combo outstanding. Highly recommended & worth a minute drive just past Moss Landing.

A

We got here right when they open, so there's no line. The place has plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We got the fish and chips, which were so delicious. The fish were fried and seasoned perfectly. We also had the combo tacos, which were tasty. The clam chowder was not my favorite, but it wasn't bad. Prices were reasonable for the portion size. They serve wines and beer, too. I would love to come back next time we're in Moss Landing.

S

Friendly staff, the food was awesome, and the sunset beautiful.

The best fish & chips. We actually shared the combo & chips. Jumbo shrimp, calamari & fish all while sitting on the deck watching otters, sea lions and pelicans.

P
Preston Gillett

Great restaurant. Very large portions of food. Halibut very nice, as was the clam chowder. You have to place order at the counter, take a bleeper and grab a table. Five minutes later, food is ready at the counter. Price of food reflects the lack of waiting service. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend this restaurant for seafood experience, really delicious food and nice view!

Terrific fresh seafood, we had dungeoness crab, seafood chowder, sand dabs, fish and chips. Everything was tasty, service was friendly and great views outside of sea birds and otters diving for their lunch. Great stop.

L
Lucinda Brinks

Nice selection of beer. Wine prices were outstanding. So many options that I wanted to try. Ordered the sablefish and a few oysters on the half shell. Sadly, too cold to sit on the patio. Looking forward to returning soon.

C

I can't lie, this is the crispiest, freshest fried fish EVER. Fries are outta this world, even the coleslaw is made fresh and has a crunchy crunch to it. After a few hours kayaking, this hits the spot. The team working here is super friendly, hubby loves the combo platter, and the pickiest 12 year old on the face of the earth cleans his plate of chicken fingers and fries every time. Order inside, wear a mask. Then head to the spacious patio outdoors, over the water and enjoy the views of birds, sea otters, and fresh breeze from the ocean.

D
D Smith

First of all, the view... as we ate we were passed by a harbor seal as well as two sea otters and if you can believe it, the food was even better! Everything we ate was fresh and local, and considering that you can see both the ocean and the farms from your seats this shouldn't be a surprise. But seriously, the food served is HIGH quality and expertly prepared and tasted like it was just line caught off the patio. Even the freaking side green salad was delicious! Absolutely one of our favorite placed in the bay area and certainly our favorite Moss Landing seafood restaurant!

I
Iona Kellison

I have to say the best clam chowder in the Monterey area, and belive me we've tried alot because we like our chowder. I ordered the fish and chips, and my husband ordered the fish tacos. The fish and chips were perfectly done, and he really enjoyed the tacos. It's fast food style where you come in order at the counter and wait for your number to be called, or this case hocky puck to beep. I highly recommend here for your seafood go to.

e

Good place to eat at Moss Landing and watch the boats and seals go by. Large outdoor dining area over the water as well as indoor seating. Place your order at the counter, take your buzzer, and find a seat wherever you want. Got a halibut and chips as well as a seafood combo. First was 4 pieces of fish and crispy fries. Combo was prawns, calamari strips, 2 pieces of fish and fries. Everything was nice and crisp and not oily. Very good flavor. Could probably have split the combo and added a cup of soup to make a meal for two.

S

Affordable sea foods even though they weren't as good as what we've had in some other restaurants. Great patio seating with nice view of the harbor.

M
Michele Pellizzon

Really cool seafood market and restaurants right on the dock. Seafood is fresh and prepared well. Good portions. Order food first at the counter and then go seat to table. Indoor and outdoor seating. To sit outdoors recommended a nice sweater or even a light jacket, cool breeze.

We ordered calamari, fish and chips, and clam chowder. All of them tasted Excellent. Great location and service as well. There was a woman taking the orderwho patiently listened to my queries regarding the menu options and was very polite. They have outside seating adjacent to the ocean. Also, this is a popular site for kayaking and observing sea otters. We saw a few of them playing in the water nearby and the kids really enjoyed it.

J

We went on a Friday Evening and shared an order of fish and chips with a small bowl of clam chowder. Came out to 29$. The food was fresh and made right. We sat outside with the heaters. The place was excellent and perfectly encapsulates the "hole in the wall" aesthetic.

H

We love the makeover that our local restaurant got a few years ago - that includes the wonderful employees, excellent service, freshest fish & lovely ambiance! Freshest crab during the season (nov-april) at the most(!) reasonable prices, do the fish tacos any time of year, & the chowder - you won’t regret it.

Great spot to have lunch on the water. We got the fish and chips, bowl of clam chowder, and the bread bowl clam chowder. It was really good. I'd recommend it. There is plenty of seating outdoors on the water. The service was great as well. We will be back. Prices are like everywhere else, about $18-$21 for each item we got.

So, my husband's aunt recommended this place called Sea Harvest when we were visiting. We had fish and chips and shared a calamari basket. It was so yummy! The best part was the view. The restaurant is right on the water, so you can watch the boats and wildlife while you eat. Great food and great people.

J
Jeff Myrom

Right off the highway by the bridge, with a large parking lot for boat trailers. This is a great location for eating fresh seafood right by the boats that brought it in. Food is refreshing and made to order. It's a favorite family stop. They also have gluten free options like the grilled fish tacos. You can get four of the same tacos, or a combo with four different seafood options. Indoor and outdoor seating options. It's fun to spot some sea otters while dining too.

M
Mr. Thor

You can see sea otters at the pier. And of course, the food was so good! I ate ceviche, cram chowder, seafood pasta, and combo chips. Everything was delicious. However, the pasta was slightly chili-spicy; if you are not good at hot it might be better to avoid it.

J
James Tuttle

I ordered fish and chips and a side salad. Food was awesome. Fish was crispy, Cajun fries were seasoned well (not overly). It was busy as heck on a Saturday at 7:00pm but they were very accommodating. Overall; full tummy and zero regrets.

B
Brandon Flatebo

Great staff taking orders with a friendly greeting as you walk in. Decent menu selection. The restaurant is right on the harbor, so the views are great. Just make sure when you eat on the patio you have proper attire because the breeze from the ocean gets chilly at times. The food was delicious. The bread bowl and clam chowder was much needed. They have 2 size options for the bread bowl so you can have a side of soup or a full meal as soup. I also had the shrimp burrito and I'd get it again. No complaints. Fantastic location. Great staff. Quick side note: if you use Google maps it ends the route on highway 1 instead of taking you to the parking lot. It's an easy lot to see, but just be aware of driving south on hwy1. (I'm from Iowa. I need Google maps here)

L

I got the Grilled Prawns and Oyster's on the half shell. If they told me that they had thrown net off of the restaurant deck to get the Prawns right after I ordered them, I would have believed them. They could not have been any fresher. Same with the Oysters. If they had told me they had a free diver jump off of the restaurant deck and harvest the Oyster's right after I ordered them, I would have believed that too. They were fresh and big oysters. Not the little baby ones that you have to eat 50 to be able to tell you even ate any. I will definitely be back. Hopefully, for years to come. Sea Harvest, y'all get an A++ from me 💯, and then some! Everything was beyond YUMMY! Great job!

Ordered a Baja bowl with rock cod , rice and pico de gallo, and an order of halibut with salad. Both were delicious!!! Great service and the patio seat provide a nice view to enjoy lunch.

Inside Sea Harvest, you will do your own ordering at the counter after browsing through the menu. After you have made your orders, you will have a buzzer and once it rings, you will head over to the kitchen to pick up your food. This process would affect the tips that they would be picking up here. This time, we ordered the Fish & Chips ($19) and the Clam Chowder Bread Bowl ($16) and the total came up to $40. We were actually surprised by the portion of the Fish & Chips. 4 large strips of fish with chunky meat, lots of fries (LJS style which Kate likes) as well as a small salad... We had a very good dinner at the sea harvest!! Although it’s a self service restaurant, the girls at the counter were super nice!! Our food and drinks were delicious and prices were decent regarding what we had and the size of the plates. We would always come back when in Moss Landing. THANKS!

There was a a line when we arrived but the food is worth the wait! We ordered their prawns and chips and a rock fish sandwich. Both were delicious! There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We sat outside and enjoyed the view. Bring a jacket! It gets a bit chilly outside.

J

There's seating indoors and outdoors. Window view of water 🌊 .You order first and pick up the order when the pager goes off. We had a large group of 7 and the wait was no more than 30 minutes ⌚ for all of our plates to be ready. Clean establishment and relaxing beach atmosphere. The staff are nice and welcoming 🤗. Everyone in our family enjoyed their plates including kids. Seafood did not have strong "fishy" smell the seafood 🦞 tasted fresh. Enjoyed dining in.

Great food, great view! I had a shrimp burrito and a cup of chowder. My mom had the crab Louie salad. I really enjoyed the shrimp burrito, and my mom really liked her salad. The chowder was okay, but a bit starchy and flat. Great place to come enjoy the view. I could have sat there all day!

Delicious food lots to choose from and good portions for the price. I enjoyed the scenery with the ocean view from the table. You order up front and they bring the food to you. Very cute coastal restaurant highly recommend! Also the Cajun fries were soo good!

Absolutely, 💯 perfect!!! We got our table outside, the heaters were on, we just sat there eating an absolutely made food with beautiful views! We chose different types of fish tacos (prawn, salmon and halibut) and a combo meal (shrimp, calamari and fish) as well as a cup of clam chowder. It was absolutely delicious and super fresh!!! After 2 hours on a kayak, it was such a treat! Thank you team!

Awesome location right on Moss Landing. Looking out over the water we saw otters and seals swimming by. The view out on the deck was awesome. As for the food, the clam chowder was perfect, and we also had an order of Halibut fish and chips, and they did not disappoint. The staff here was so friendly, we will enjoy returning here soon.

My perfect day would involve sitting out on the back deck of this restaurant on a warm sunny day, drinking, and eating their delicious sea food. I just keep dreaming about the next time I visit. Everything was great, the tacos, the fried oysters, fish, clams! So so good! Great service and atmosphere.

I always have there Clam chowder especially in the fall. Fish and chips yum. The views wide open, a local place, lots of parking and a outside patio and outside covered patio and gods local flyers soaking up the sun. Lots of smiles and excellent service. Abd there ice water always convent and fresh.

Sea Harvest Fish Market & Restaurant is a fisherman-owned seafood spot celebrated for its ultra-fresh, sustainably sourced catches straight from Monterey Bay. It has a great menu, incredible cuisine, and quick service. The staff were super friendly and smiling. If you don’t want to brave the normal Moss Landing fog and wind, there is plenty of indoor seating. There is also a glass walled patio of sorts that sits between the indoor dining area and the wooden planked ocean seating outdoors. They have high chairs for infants, clean restrooms, and plenty of swag to take home to represent, including tops, sweatpants, hats, drinkware, and stuffed animals. They have three craft beers on tap and a few dozen more in cans in the cooler. They have a wide variety of drinks, from soda to wine. They offer daily specials. Be aware that if you sit outside, the birds are very brave and friendly as well, singing for some supper.

The setting outdoors was absolutely breathtaking, with a visit on a gorgeous day and a stunning view!!!! 🙏💜🌊 The clam chowder bowl and Paella were both delectable. The service was attentive and welcoming. There was plenty of seating available both indoors and outdoors. I would highly recommend this place. However, the bathrooms often had a significant wait due to the limited number of stalls, which presented a challenge for this bustling location.

Came here for lunch Sunday after a round of golf at Bayonet. This place is amazing. Great food, great views, and reasonable prices. Saw some otters while we were eating. Had plenty of tables available when we arrived around noon and it's away from the tourist areas. highly recommended. 4 seafood tacos for $17

I’ve been coming to this place for a while now, and it’s consistently been amazing. The service has always been warm and welcoming, and the food is truly exceptional. I especially love the prawn taco—the prawns are incredibly flavorful, tender, and always perfectly cooked. It’s one of those dishes I keep coming back for. However, today (around 2 p.m.) was a bit of a miss in terms of service. One of the younger cashier (a Hispanic girl, I believe) seemed to be in a bad mood from the moment we arrived. She got my order wrong, and when I returned and politely pointed out that I had ordered the prawn taco and received something else, she rolled her eyes in a very obvious way. She did eventually agree to exchange the dish, but the interaction felt unnecessarily unpleasant. That said, I’m still giving a 5-star rating because this was the only negative experience I’ve had here. Every other visit has been marked by great food and kind, attentive service. I truly love this place and will definitely keep coming back.

Doesn't get any fresher if you're looking for a good spot for seafood. Great spot to grab a bite and watch the boats coming into the harbor. You'll also see the kayakers heading in/out of the slough. Amazing outdoor space to take in the scenery while eating your meal. All the food was great- including the dessert! They even have dog treats for your pup, so don't forget to grab a couple of bags on your way out.

Andy Salmon

So my low stars on service are not a reflection of the staff. They were awesome! It is solely based on that it's an order at the counter restaurant. It's perfect and unique for this place. The food was VERY good, and it will now be a favorite when we are in the area. Great enclosed and open patio area that is Dog friendly. From the outside, it looks like a sit down and be served restaurant that would have waiters. The food quality matches a nice restaurant but inside it is very casual and perfect for its location.

Our new favorite place when visiting! With Phil’s Fish Market closed down/moved, this has become our go to for seafood. The prices are quite reasonable compared to Phil’s, sometimes literally half as much. The Fish Tacos are delicious, and my wife thoroughly enjoyed her Dungeness crab plate. It’s right on the water at Moss Landing and the scenery is so beautiful. Lots of seals and pelicans and the sunset over the water was spectacular. From now on this is our spot!

Came here after kayaking next door and it was the perfect lunch after a nice kayak sesh. The combo and chips came with fried fish, shrimp, and calamari and was all super crispy and delicious! The fried shrimp were the best of the combo. Views on the terrace were super nice and you could sit inside if it’s too windy. Plenty of seating even with a lot of people around

Came here with a group of friends after kayaking nearby and we had an amazing experience. The food was beautiful and delicious, the fish and chips were perfectly crunchy and seasoned. A Hidden Gem at Sea Harvest Moss Landing If you're looking for a great spot to enjoy a delicious meal while taking in a stunning sunset, Sea Harvest Moss Landing is the place to be. Located in the Aptos area, this restaurant offers a variety of fresh seafood dishes at reasonable prices. The portions are generous, and the food is incredibly flavorful—definitely worth every penny. As someone who usually isn't a fan of tacos, I was blown away by their fish tacos. They're unlike anything I've had before—packed with flavor and made with such care. I truly feel like everything here is made with love, from the perfectly seasoned fish to the fresh ingredients. It's clear that this place takes pride in its food. Highly recommend it if you’re in the area, especially if you're in the mood for great food and a beautiful view! It's even worth the drive or taking someone on a romantic date here

Lovely deck view of the bay. Just that is worth your stop. Sandwich was good! I wasn't impressed with Clam Chowder, there are better options out there.

Excellent casual dining and great food. Best deep fried artichokes we've ever had- they were all hearts, no leaves. Clearly they change their oil frequently because everything tasted light and fresh. Felt like a special occasion for a family of young adults.

N
Nalina

I love this place. You get a decent sized portion and views overlooking the slough/harbor. Not to mention, the food is usually pretty good. I’ve been 3 times now. My tried and true are the scallops and fries, but for this trip I was feeling a fish taco. Price was great, I actually liked their slaw (which I usually don’t like slaw), and it was hot and fresh. If there’s one thing I would change would be just a bit more flavor in the batter (the fish taco batter! Scallop batter is just dandy)

J
Jessica Aguil

Calamari and chips was delicious, fries are a little bit salty but that's okay. Upgraded french fries to the cajun fries, also ordered two bowls of clam chowder which was decent, tried the deep fried artichokes and would never order them again. It just didn't have much flavor. Would definitely go back next time we visit this area. The calamari are sliced like little steaks and not the ends and pieces.

We are regulars and enjoy the food. But... FYI they recently noticeably reduced their portion sizes, but not the prices. When my wife brought this up to the cashier's attention she started alot of other customers have also complained.

Tucked away lovely seafood place between Santa Cruz and Monterey. We ordered at the counter, sat down at the table and waited for our food. Seafood options were plenty and they were accommodating to extra requests. I got a shrimp burrito and asked for it to be on a plate without the tortilla, shrimp was fresh and delicious. We also tried the fish and chips, the fish itself was very good but the oil used to fry it was not great, so the fried layer and the fries were less than average. The clam chowder also left room to be desired. I got some cleaning spray in my wine glass by accident and they happily changed it for me (great service!). The ambience and foggy northern California scenery was very inviting and we'll be back to try other items on the menu.

Craving some seafood after a day on the beaches. Ordered the fried combo (shrimp, fish and squid) $20. The fry coating was crispy and light, juicy shrimp, nice firm fish and the squid was very nice, not "fishy" with an almost Cajun tasting coating. The fries were crispy perfection. This was too much fry for this guy. Not their fault but I had to dump half of it, fried seafood does not make good leftovers. Was there a smaller option? The coleslaw did not do it for me, it was dull. I like more vinegar zing and a little sweeter. Maybe I got the last of the batch from a few days ago? Great seating options, you can go full-on Goldilocks here. You can sit inside or on the covered deck or out in the open air next to the water. What ever you want it will be "just right" for you. Nice staff and lots of parking. If I came again I would get the grilled seafood or chowder if it's a chilly day.

The food is fresh and the marina atmosphere is perfect. The counter service and the amount of seafood on the fried platter lowered the stars. The variety of seafood offered is very good. They even have a little gift shop. I would come here again.

R

This restaurant was a nice surprise. We weren't expecting much but the seafood was of good quality. We tried the halibut sandwich, calamari and chips and got a couple drinks. I prefer the thin, curly calamari, but the squid was still good. The french fries were crispy and tasty - would come here just for that. The patio area was lovely to hang out in - no fishy odors from the harbor wafting through when we were there. I would dine there again, a much calmer option than the other popular seafood restaurant nearby, with a nice view to boot.

L
Lyssa Richards

Sea harvest is a great casual fried seafood spot with an awesome view of the inlet around the marina. The grilled fish sides were a little underwhelming as well as the fish tacos but the fish and chips and coconut shrimp were super yummy. Everything tasted very fresh. You can’t beat the dining room. The indoor seating is encased in large windows and the outdoor seating is floating on the water that was swarming with sea otters. We went during a storm and it was amazing to watch it roll in. I would definitely recommend this place for a fun spot for a casual dinner.

Lovely spot on a nice day for a beautiful view and decent food. They are currently closed (Dec 2020), I was there in November and it was great. There’s a parking lot right off the highway though a bit scary to get across when going north. It had patio seating that was distanced. Phenomenal views of the bay with the occasional sea lion and otter floating by the patio that hangs over the water. All food was counter order and had a limited menu. The staff was very friendly. I had a salad with shrimp and a clam chowder. The shrimp were quite large and tasty. It came with a decent portion of lettuce and had dressing on the side. The clam chowder was excellent. I’d like to check this place out post-pandemic to see if they have a full menu as well. Really lovely spot to go after a nice hike at the Elkhorn Slough Reserve.

One of my favorite places to eat in Moss Landing. The service is good and so is the location. The shrimp and chips was amazing. And I love the BBQ oysters

My husband and I finally had the chance to try this place since our boys—both allergic to seafood—weren’t with us this time. When we arrived around 6 p.m. on a Friday, only a few tables were occupied, which was nice. I grabbed a menu and headed to the counter, but since there was no line, I decided to just ask for their specialty instead of reading through. The staff recommended the Cioppino, so I went with that and added an order of Calamari. My husband chose a small cup of Clam Chowder. Our total came to $49 for the three items. I wanted to sit outside, but the evening chill was setting in, so we took a cozy table inside by the window—perfect for enjoying the sunset view. Our food came out in under 10 minutes, which was impressive. The Clam Chowder was a bit salty for my taste and felt like it was missing something, but the Calamari was spot on—crispy, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious! The Cioppino hit the spot and fully satisfied my seafood cravings. The broth was flavorful, and dipping the grilled sourdough bread in it made it even better. We were so full that we couldn’t finish the Calamari and took the rest to go. Overall, it was a lovely dining experience, and we’ll definitely stop by again the next time we’re near Moss Landing.

I would give this place a 5 except the food was too pricey for a restaurant without table service. The view from the deck is extraordinary. the oysters were great, but we were a bit surprised they were from the east coast, not from one of the west coast producers.

Stopped in to eat after kayaking. I got prawn tacos. They were good. Husband got clam chowder and fish and chips. Chowder and the fish were gross. Fish was dry and bleh. We liked the garlic fries.

It is an average seafood dine-in restaurant. The location is excellent because it has a nice view. Food taste is about average to me. The calamari is fatty, and is quite different to a normal one. After all, the taste of calamari is not great. Garlic bread is good. My

The fish was very fresh and the taco was good, it should’ve had more spice to it, but the sauce made up for it. The place also has amazing views!

It's definitely worthy of a stop during your road trip. If you're from out of the area you will appreciate the food more than we did because we are spoiled :) Atmosphere is great, service is wonderful food is good. Pricing is about right for the area and the competition. Easy to park and get on and off the highway, fabulous views of the slough. A nice replacement for a very popular seafood restaurant that closed in Moss Landing recently.

Loved their fish n chips in past. This visit they were out of cod so had it w/halibut. We were disappointed because the fish was dry and tough. Good batter and can't beat the atmosphere by the water.

Their tacos are nothing to write home about = 3 stars. Good thing we ordered the combo tacos. At least the shrimp taco came out good. The sable fish is so chewy, the salmon is so fishy, the halibut was a little bit better, but is such a little sliver of halibut...I almost ask where's the fish 🐟 Clam Chowder = 3 stars Great views.

Cute spot in Moss Landing harbor. The food is solid with lots of options, you order at the counter and they give you a buzzer when your food is ready, you sit outside with a great view next to the water, where you can watch seals and maybe sea otters if you’re lucky. Everything is great EXCEPT the buzzers they chose to use not only buzz but also emit a high pitched beeping sound when your order is ready. This is highly irritating and ruins otherwise great ambiance because somebody’s order is always ready so the beeping never stops. It’s not as bad as a car alarm going off but it’s up there. I can’t imagine I’m the only one who feels this way. Never been to a place that uses audible buzzers. If the restaurant changed buzzers or disabled the sound this would be a four or five star review.

We were disappointed in the food. The view is decent, though we did sit in the enclosed patio. (The day was a bit cool, and there was a breeze, otherwise we would have preferred to sit outside). My Halibut sandwich tasted "just" ok. The fish was thin, and slightly overcooked. The sandwich was thrown together, and not what I would expect for $21. The fish and chips were nothing special, and the breading was a little too thick. The worst part was the clam chowder. I have had clam chowder at many restaurants, most good, some not so good. The clam chowder at Sea harvest was practically flavorless. It was like a simple white gravy with clams, potatoes, and celery, but no flavor. I think this place is expensive for cafeteria style restaurant, and mediocre food. I am sure you are mainly paying for the view. I like to take photos of food, but only when it looks really yummy. I did not take photos here. On the plus side, it is dog friendly, and they have decent beer.

So this is a counter style restaurant for ordering food with a buzzer for receiving food. The soda comes in cans, water is free for extra hydration. I ordered the Halibit on a recommendation from staff. I found the fish dry even after the deep fry. The fries were frozen and not hand cut. The calamari was sliced body, not ring or tentacles. The tentacles are the best part of the squid. The wife ordered Cod and found it to be soft, limp and had no flavor to the batter. Over all the food was band except the calamari. Tartar sauce came in small cups and didn't have enough for the fish in the baskets.

So you order your food at the counter, pay for it and you're handed a pager. Then you grab a glass of water and find a table. The patio overlooks the ocean with amazing views but is strictly a fair weather proposition. When the food is ready, the pager goes off and off you go to fetch it. As you're going through this process, you are asked, encouraged and pressured to tip. But who is the tip for when no one is serving you? This is obnoxious, brazen, out of control and has to stop. The food tastes good but not good enough to overcome the bad taste the tip shenanigans leave in one's mouth.

I left here hungry, I wish I ate Top Ramen instead. Their "fish taco" should be named coleslaw taco; sour coleslaw taco at that. There was barely a bite of fish on a couple of them, and the tortillas disintegrate onto the plate because they're so soggy from their old batch of dressing, which I know they're using because I've eaten here multiple times and it's not always trash. Just look at it. This time it was disgusting and for twenty dollars I'm pissed. I could hear other people complaining about the food while I was sitting as well. This place is not hurting for cash, they have a never ending stream of tourists coming in and out; get better, shame on the owner, shame on the cooks. Staff was alright.

Had a really disappointing experience here. I placed an order and waited 40 minutes, but my food never came. When I went to the counter to check, they realized my order hadn’t even gone through their system, so I had to start waiting all over again. A senior staff member was quite rude, simply telling us to sit down and wait for the buzzer. Meanwhile, the waitress was serving other tables, but when I asked her for something, she brushed me off and told me to get it from the counter myself. I left feeling like I paid tips but didn’t receive the same service as other guests. The food was just average on top of that, so unfortunately I wouldn’t consider coming back.

Disappointing experience. I ordered the fish sandwich and the portion was honestly shocking — the fish filet was tiny, not even close to covering the bread. For the price, that’s not acceptable. The restaurant is pricey given the type of restaurant - you order at a counter, get handed a loud pager and then go pick up your food at a counter. Where is the overhead to justify these prices? What made it worse was checkout: it’s counter service and you pick up your own food, but the payment screen defaulted to an 18% tip on a bill over $60? So I am expected to leave a $11 tip for what? I left a modest tip and the cashier seemed visibly annoyed, which made the whole interaction uncomfortable. I don’t mind tipping for great service, but the combination of small portions + tipping pressure for counter pickup + attitude means I won’t return.

Second time at this place and definitely disgusted. My boyfriend’s seafood Alfredo pasta had pieces of plastic in his food!!! BIG VIOLATION. The place is really dirty and outside there are birds everywhere on all dirty plates that look like have been sitting there for hours. Won’t recommend don’t come here

Extremely disappointed! This was my 1st trip since the remodel and I cannot say I will be going back. We ordered fish and chips, clam chowder, and their deep fried artichokes. The fish was mostly breading, but the fries were tasty. The clam chowder tasted like it came from a can. The fried artichoke was good, but only given ranch for dipping. I had looked forward to the fire roasted artichoke they USED to have with its homemade aioli, but that is gone, along with the good food served by friendly staff. They don't even bring you your food, but adding a tip is an automatic part of already over-paying!

Do you know what really ruins a good outing? Going to a counter serve restaurant and being expected to pay a full 18% tip. Then getting a meal with a small portion and hoping you can still enjoy the outing. Read the other reviews - I’m not the only one complaining about this restaurant’s poor quality of service.
