Great customer service, they are able to speak both English and Spanish fluently and make sure all needs are met. Highly recommend this place to any tourists, anybody in prunedale area to check it out. Definitely worth a 40 minute drive, their salsa stands out as one of their best sides. If I were to show someone Mexican food for the first time, I would show them this exact restaurant.

Chile rellenos are some of the best I’ve had and a close second is the carnitas. Super fresh food. At any time you can see staff prepping fresh veggies and smashing avocados. The table salsa goes great on the rice. Staff is very friendly. Feels like you’re among friends.

I use to go here until I moved out of state. A few years ago the service and food was awful. Decided to give it another try when i came back this summer..wow!!! Service is great!! Food is absolutely delicious!! The tamales are sooooo good! Everything was fresh and tasty.

First time here- the food is delicious. The rice &beans are fresh, soft warm tortillas too. We will definitely be back to try the other items on menu. Today we had the beef caldo and menudo- spiced & seasoned just right.

The cook is not consistent. Some days the food is very tasteless. However I love Mexican food and I love the convenience of this restaurant.

Good solid Mexican cooking , friendly family run, all the favorites and well priced.

Food is always good but service always suffers when you only have one server to handle cashing out, call in orders, waiting and clear tables. She never asked her our food was, if we needed more salsa (since it was empty) or refill our water and iced tea. Atmosphere is ok, doors were open so flies were buzzing around our plates and glasses while we were eating. This normally isnt an issue but today it was. Love this place though.

We have eaten at Sarita's in Prunedale several times. The food is decent and they serve large portions. But, the service always sucks. Once your food is served you are completely forgotten about. The waitresses never come back to check on you. Then they don't bring your check. I've always had to go up to the counter to ask for the check. This has happened everytime we've eaten there.

Well you can always find great conversation from other patrons, The food is absolutely horrible compared to even be worst taco trucks. Though, You all fairness, The taco trucks around here are better than most of the high-end restaurants. If you have allergies then don't expect them to work around that, and don't even expect them to let you know that whatever you're allergic to is in there. I am a semi-regular at both the Prunedale and Marina locations, and I don't know what is up with the lady at the Prunedale location, but I even said in Spanish that I am allergic to onion. And I even ordered the Diablo salsa because it has no onion. They completely filled my burrito with onion and then said that it was in The guacamole and that it couldn't be avoided. But I'm a regular and before they always give me slices of avocado instead of guacamole filled with onion because I say that I am allergic to onion. In the past I have given them a good review based on the atmosphere, And I like the people, however I never liked their food. After having a severe breakout from the onion I will not be going back. Oh and to top it off she claims to have thought that I only wanted no onion in my salsa, and didn't even offer me a new burrito without the guacamole. After tip and everything it was $23 for one Coke and one chicken burrito. Even if it was correct that's a ridiculous amount for one person.

As I am allergic to cilantro I asked for a burrito with no cilantro and explained that was the reason, they recommended no guacamole as they had cilantro in that and I agreed to skip that as well. I was assured they didn't even have cilantro in the burritos. When I arrived home and finally got to start eating, of course, the burrito was packed with cilantro. Not sure if the cashier doesn't know what they put in the burrito or if it was a bad joke, but not a great experience. As hungry as I was, the rice and beans were still really subpar. The building looked nice enough.
