The owner of this restaurant radiates positive energy. He is welcoming and makes the place feel homey. He’s incredibly friendly and played the lute for our table. I will definitely return and I really enjoyed the falafel.

This restaurant truly felt like home! From the moment we walked in, the manager Almaz and his wife welcomed us with such warmth and hospitality - it was like visiting family. The food was absolutely incredible - fresh, flavorful, and authentic. Every bite transported us straight to Turkey. And just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, we tried the baklava… Hands down, the best baklava we’ve ever had! We’re from California, so unfortunately, we won’t be back anytime soon-but if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we’re definitely coming back to see this wonderful family and enjoy another unforgettable meal. Highly recommend!

Very friendly with good food. Delicious well prepared. You can adjust the order in the menu as Senan the owner will help. He also waits. Definitely will go back 👊🏻I ordered Shish Kabab and mixed appetizers with Turkish bread. The gyro meat was added to the plate make it more tasty. I got baklava at the end. Thanks a lot

Was visiting my brother in Katonah and he recommended this Turkish hidden gem. What a gem it is! The food is so fresh and delicious and the service / ambiance couldn’t be better! The owner and Chef make you feel like you are the most important person and aims to please you! Highly recommend The Turk nestled in Mt. Kisco. Make the effort to visit; it’s well worth it on all counts.

Gluten free pita!? Definitely! They have great food, okay tea (due to the cups they use), the service was phenomenal and the atmosphere was perfect. Especially when they started playing one of the guitars they had on their walls. Great experience, amazing food and totally worth your time.

Was in the area and my fathers side of the family being Turkish, when I saw this place we had to stop. Owner was super friendly and very attentive. Food was spectacular! Just like Grandmas! Highly recommend!

The Turk is a place that you eat and brings you back as if you were in Turkey! We have been missing Turkey and their cuisine this was very much reminiscent. I imagined myself in Istanbul, and Cappadocia enjoying this food. Pita bread was out of this world paired with the Cacik 👌🏽 Manti was good, I would order it again but better in Turkey of course. Chicken saute she order was the most delicious! A good plus is that they can accommodate for gluten free!

We went here because of the great reviews and also my fam has been here twice before and enjoyed it. I’m not sure what happened today, but we had a horrible experience. From the moment we sat down, they forgot to give us menus, and came by asking if we are ready to order. After we received the menus, we ordered and they messed up 3 out of the 5 orders. Soup came out without a spoon. The waiter seemed nervous and didn’t speak English. I look past the service often times if the food makes up for it. Well, that wasn’t the case here. I ordered the chicken mix grill, but was missing the chicken chops. Regardless, the meat was cooked to death, super dry and rock hard. I felt like I was going to choke on it. Almost like it was fried, frozen, then refried. Didn’t seem grilled at all. The salmon sautéed was inedible. The sauce on it made me nauseous and I immediately spat it out. The Shepard salad was literally diced tomatoes and cucumbers, no dressing, no feta cheese. We had to request the cheese, the lemon also helped. The “grilled” salmon was fried to death and also rock hard with a very pungent smell. Overall would never recommend to anyone. The people there did seem very nice and I’m always hesitant to leave “bad” reviews for good ppl, but the food was so atrocious that I felt ppl deserved to know.

The worst restaurant experience I ever had. I wasn’t made to feel welcome for no reason. I greeted the owner with a smile, but didn’t receive one in return. I got cold lentil soup while waiting for tap water, ayran, and lemon, which I ordered right at the beginning. Turkish ravioli (manti) was okay. The owner was talking to everyone but me. I didn’t say anything bad to him or complain at all. It seems like they don't want new customers. I will never recommend this place.
