I came here with my boyfriend the day after Valentine’s Day. We were recommended this place because it was somewhere that locals also go to. They had a lot of options on the menu, some being seafood, some being your more traditional “american” food. They also had a lot of drink options. The service was great and quick. The food came out quick and it was A LOT for how affordable the prices were. Most entrees came with two sides and some sort of bread. I got the fried seafood platter and my boyfriend got the fried chicken livers. We also got the redneck rolls as an appetizer. A great place for southern staples. Also since it was Valentines weekend, we got flowers and a little bag of chocolate!
The best meal I had over the few days in town. Lucky enough to get the bar seat where I had the opportunity to observe how they cook and prepare the food with passion. Everything looks and smells delicious. The chefs and service staff seem to have the passion inside them for their food and service. This is what southern hospitality feels like. I ordered some grilled seafood with fried okra and it’s SO delicious. I’ll definitely come back whenever I visit Charleston again. Thanks for the amazing experience!
If you're looking for delicious Southern comfort food in a casual setting, this is your place. I had Crab Bacon Chowder, Country Fried Chicken with hushpuppies, mac 'n cheese and homemade key lime pie for dessert. The quantities are huge and all were very good! My server Morgan was excellent too.
The food was delicious as always. The smash burger is the best I’ve had. The pimento cheese grits are a must, they are absolutely incredible. We had the beignets for an appetizer, which were fresh and hot. The pork chops were fried just right. I will have to say the ladies at the hostess station were not very friendly or welcoming, maybe they were having a bad day. Our server, Ashley was very energetic and did a fantastic job. Overall we had a good experience and the food was delicious, if you haven’t tried Page’s you should, you will not be disappointed.
My wife & I loved this place! The shrimp & grits were outstanding! As was the grilled seafood platter! One of the best crab cakes we've ever had. Great scallops, tasty sea bass, delicious shrimp. Even the corn bread was awesome. We couldn't have asked for better service either! If weren't so stuffed from dinner, we definitely would have tried some of their mouthwatering cheesecake that we were sitting right next to 😋
Visiting with family and this is one of the best meals I’ve had probably in my entire life. Everything was amazing - the Bloody Mary (I got it with their jalapeño infused vodka, sooo recommend), the country fried chicken, the sides (fried okra, mac n cheese, collard greens, mashed potatoes, hush puppies), the appetizers (you HAVE to get the crab cakes and fried green tomatoes, best I’ve ever had), and the banana pudding. Also tried some of my family’s meals (shrimp and grits and the fried shrimp) that were also 10/10. Service is great too, Celeste is amazing and so attentive! If you’re in the area you have to check this place out.
Amazing food! We got the classic Charleston seafood platter with a side of mac and cheese and okra fries and hushpuppies. Hushpuppies were small like just 2 balls the size of munchkins, but had flavor. The rest of the entree was deep fried goodness with lots of flavor in the batter. We also got the bass entree and the shrimp that came with that entree was so mouthwatering good, I will think about them every-time I have shrimp now. The carrot cake was huge. This was one of our most expensive meals during this trip but it was totally and completely worth it. They had so much indoor and outdoor seating. If you’re out of town, this is great.
Absolutely nothing bad can be said about Page's! It was very busy but we still got seated in a reasonable time. Hostesses were friendly. The vybe is amazing both in and especiallyin the outdoor area where we were. Our server, Rob, was cooler than a fan, attentive and quick with the turnaround on our requests. The food... cooked perfectly! I wish we lived closer so we could go more often. We'll done, Page's!
Tyler our server was outstanding. He was great. We had a table of 8 and he was awesome. The food came out fast, Tyler was refilling drinks, answering questions. The staff were perfect andfood was very good.
We loved everything about this restaurant. From the hostess to our server to the food. I had Page's Famous Chicken & Waffles which was amazingly delicious. It's a savory waffle with bits of cheddar, corn, chorizo & jalapeño (but it wasn't spicy). The fried chicken breasts were flattened and easy to eat. My husband had Shrimp & grits which he absolutely loved. The grits are formed into cakes and then fried. The shrimp were perfectly cooked and the grave was a light and creamy type instead of the usual brown type. Neither if us could finish our meals although we tried. Our server, Taylor, was outstanding!
If I could give 10 for all I would! Where to begin?! First, the wait time was not long at all, even though the place was buzzing. We were seated and immediately greeted by, by far, The best waiter I've ever had! Andy - thank you for being so great at what you do! He gave us recommendations for his favorite dishes, constantly kept me, my wife, sister in law and her friend laughing and entertained! The food! My wife got the award winning shrimp and grits! And they lived up to their name! And even better, they flash fry their grits for a little extra crunch! TJ's hot mess breakfast is great, and I had the crab cake eggs Benedict, so good! The atmosphere is amazing! Charleston is known for its amazing restaurants and vibes, this place definitely is one reason why! If you're ever in Charleston, look up Page's Okra Grill!
First time. Tried TJ hot mess. Everything on it was good. Chicken fried well. Gravy was delicious. The pepper jack cheese and the jalapeño’s gave it really nice flavor with a touch of heat. Definitely would recommend.
Definitely will remember this place. Looked busy as we were parking but so big that we hardly noticed. Fast, efficient service and the food... oh my was it good! We got Fried Green Tomatoes to start, Shrimp and Grits and Original Chicken and Waffles for brunch, everything was so good and flavorful.
Great Food, Great Service & Clean Environment. We Had the Prime Rib and Shrimp, Fried chicken dinner and for the appetizer, we had the redneck rolls and they were delicious and so was the pickled okra on the plate. ☆ Highly recommend!
This was our first time eating here and we’ll definitely be back when we are in the area again! I had fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans. My husband had shrimp, fries and collard greens. Everything was delicious. We got desserts to go, banana pudding and peanut butter pie. They were also delicious!
This place was phenomenal! Service was top tier and the food was delicious. Absolutely recommend trying this place. James was our server and he was great, solid recommendations and kept the water full (which can be a task cause I drink a lot).
Man the hosts Are so friendly. Then you walk in and it smells divine. You want to order everything. It was just my husband and I. I came to Charleston for my birthday and decided to stay over here in Mount Pleasant. The manager at Hampton Inn suggested for some good food to come and was not disappointed. Thank you. WiFi needs help I wanted to review while sitting there.
We’ve eaten here several times and enjoyed every meal. This is a great take on southern food without the meals feeling overly heavy. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere of the restaurant is really nice. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place.
Had a wonderful meal here on a Saturday evening! Went out with the parents and the dog and Pages surpassed all my expectations. Troy was a great server and made the necessary changes to serve us better. Lots of seating indoor and out, and accommodating for dogs. They were out of a lot of draft beers but Troy gave us a recommendation for a tangerine beer by Sycamore (I think) and it was great! Grouper bites as an app were delicious and paired with a perfect sauce! I do think that $15 for an appetizer is quite high but it was delicious none the less. Everyone loved their meals and portions were very fair. We got a variety of dishes. The Pages seafood pasta was everything I dreamed of in a white sauce! The chicken and waffles were fantastic, and the pimento bacon fries were the angel on top of the Christmas tree. Please excuse my glazing, but we really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. Will definitely be back!!
We are out of towners and have been here twice before 4 years ago. This time were visiting with my whole family for my birthday dinner. Chase was our server and he couldn't have been more personable. The food was amazing, just like last time. Prices are great for the portions. I highly recommend the fried okra and fried chicken. They also gave me a free dessert for my birthday. The chocolate chess pie was to die for. The whole experience was so enjoyable. We always come back here when we go on vacation in this area. It has such a down home local country vibe. We absolutely love it!
Best. Southern. Seafood. Ever!!!! Fried Green Tomatoes, Sweet Potato Souffle, Prime Rib and Cornbread were the best we've ever had (and we're from NC!!). Hands down, best dinner we've ever had. We're planning a trip back to MP/Charleston next year, this will be our go to! Thank you!!!!! 🔥🍤🥘🍴🧡
Can't say enough how attenative the waitress Lauren was. She was at our table 5 to 6 times to check on how the experience and food was. The cooks did such an amazing job on the food. Seasoned to perfection and given in a timely manner. Atmosphere was amazing. Loved the music they played. If you get the chance please enjoy this place.
Seriously one of the best smoked chicken breasts I ever had! It had its own secret dipping sauce that was fantastic. The okra has its own secret dipping sauce that was delicious as well. And as a bonus everyone there is very nice! I sat at the counter and almost every employee that walked by either smiled or said hey or both. Ian at the counter gave great service. And since when does the manager stop by and ask you how everything is? Well Kayla did and I was very complimentary. I normally don’t leave reviews this lengthy but this time I felt it was merited. It’s getting harder and harder to find a restaurant like this anymore. Well done!
Delicious food and excellent customer service! The steak was seasoned to perfection! The corn bread, macaroni and sweet potato soufflé was absolutely delish!
Great spot for a classic southern lunch or brunch. Large menu with plenty of options. Pimento cheese grits are a fave. Great Bloody Mary. Always good service. Expect a wait when you go but it typically moves quickly.
It's been a minute but good to know the food is still delicious. Great to see Donna still here at the hostess stand. Our server Adam P. was exceptional checking in on us frequently and ensuring our water glasses stay full. Still wonderful place to grab lunch in Low Country!
Page’s Okra Grill serves up consistently great food, generous portions and friendly service. A favorite in the photo is TJ’s Hot Mess~Southern fried chicken served on a buttermilk biscuit & topped with scrambled eggs with pepper jack cheese & jalapeños & smothered with country sausage gravy!
We visited on a Tuesday afternoon right after checking into our hotel and there was no wait. There is an option to sit outdoors or indoors, but we opted to eat in because it was hot and humid. The staff was very hospitable and made sure we were enjoying our meal and had everything we needed. The portions were huge and very satisfying. I went with the seafood platter and it was really good, but when they brought out the orders of hot fried chicken it looked mouth watering and everyone said it was delicious. The fried shrimp and crab cake was my favorite part of the platter. The red rice was just okay but the fried okra was good. The fish was also just okay and I would’ve been satisfied with extra shrimp and the crab cake. The coleslaw was also really good. Definitely a great value for your money and family friendly. We were full for the rest of the evening. I would most definitely recommend and come back.
When you're in Mt Pleasant for 7 days, and partake of Page's for 3 of those days, sigh.....you know it is a most delightful and delectable thing. Please do not miss out on this GEM! My pictures do not do it justice. Seafood, southern cooking, and biscuits! Oh my! And, go see Miss Adianez at the outside bar. Finest person you will ever meet.
Im visiting Mount Pleasant for work and found this place by searching for restaurants near me. I had an amazing time. I sat at the counter and my server was amazing. I didn't his name but I know he was 24 as we had a nice little chat. The food was hot and fresh. I barley waited 5 minutes after I ordered and the food was ready. When I'm in the area again ,I will most definitely pay another visit.
So amazing as usual! I've been going to Page's for years but our server today, Tara, was incredible and went above and beyond. She was so friendly, helped us with our indecisiveness on menu items, and we literally never had an empty cup of our drinks. Her suggestions were wonderful and she is so lovely!
Great bar service for brunch with the hubs and our aunt. The crab cake egg Benedict and the bloody Maria were awesome. Sweet short haired cute server chick was great.
This place has some of the best food I’ve had in a long time. Shrimp and grits - omg!!! Greens were the best I’ve ever had. Crab cakes and Mac were great too!! I was too full to try dessert, but I got 2 to go!
Absolutely Fabulous! I Highly Recommend! This place was recommended to me by a coworker to eat lunch at while I waited between Dr appts at MUSC. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. My server Jacob was awesome! He gave me great menu suggestions as a first timer. Everything I ate was excellent. The Fried Green Tomatoes, The Salmon, The Mac-N-Cheese, and the Cheesecake. All we're Amazing!
The food is made with love, and the staff is always so sweet. You cannot beat Page’s fried green tomatoes! It’s the first place I stop every time I visit!
We really liked the food. The crab cake was incredible. I had the seafood platter. The shrimp were huge and extremely delicious. The flounder filet was good. The crab cake was the best of all the food I had. The pimento grits was very good. The fries were also very good. Everyone had food they enjoyed.
We have been eating in this building for over 40 years! It has changed names a couple of times. But, it has always been good. Now, it's GREAT! We often go after church for the brunch. We started with the Fried Green Tomatoes (Excellent) I got the Seafood Omelet, my wife had the Eggs/meat/Grits, sister in law had the Crab Cake Benedict with Home Fries. All amazingly excellent.
For a meal. Food was delicious 😋. Service outstanding. Desserts fabulous! If you're in the Mount Pleasant area a must stop❣️
The food was immaculate, I ordered the seafood Mac and cheese as an appetizer and my girlfriend ordered the fried green tomatoes, and it was absolutely amazing. For the entree I got the grilled seafood platter with fried okra and loaded fries (highly recommended) the sea bass was very tender, light and flavorful, the scallops were cooked to perfection and the shrimp were delicious, as for the Mac and cheese the shrimp and cheese worked amazingly together, I love the corkscrew noodles with the pimento cheese and the amount of crab was perfect, it wasn’t too much and it was just enough to keep you satisfied. As for my girlfriend she got the fried crab claws with fried shrimp and it was great, she got the collard greens and fries as her side, and the collard greens were the best we ever had. Her plate came with cornbread and I got hushpuppies instead and they were both delicious. She also got the holly water cocktail and it was great! The waitress (Abby) was absolutely amazing and she set the tone for the night with how awesome she was! I highly recommend this place to anyone in the area, we are here on vacation and we were so happy with deciding to go there!
Overall WOW. Incredible seafood and low country cuisine. A classic Charleston food stop. Portions are very generous. The smoked wings are INSANE, so good.
How good is Page's? We ate there 4 times in 5 days. Breakfast twice, lunch and dinner. Everything single thing we got was exceptional. From fried green tomatoes to the incredible pimento cheese grits, I will miss so much!! The fried chicken was definitely the best we've ever had. Thank you do very much for the great food and friendly service! Only notes, please put butter either on the table or the plate. We had to ask every time and by the time you get it the biscuit is cold. Also, the soap in the bathroom smells like a grandpa's cologne that has been on the shelf for 20 years. No need for scented soap!
We ate at Paige’s Okra Grill and everything was excellent. I had the fried chicken plate with macaroni and cheese and fried okra, and Tess also had the fried chicken plate with macaroni and cheese and mashed potatoes. The food was absolutely amazing, just like it always is. The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sides were flavorful and comforting. Our server Kaitlyn was very kind, attentive, and pleasant the entire time. She made sure everything was correct and had a great attitude that made the meal even better. We went on New Year’s Day and had another great experience with the manager and a server. I unfortunately forgot to take their names, but they were both very helpful and made the meal enjoyable. I plan to update this review with their names next time I visit, and I look forward to highlighting other servers who make the experience excellent in future visits.
Great place for casual dining. This time we stopped in for brunch. Food never disappoints. However, the atmosphere is chaotic and the wait can be long.
Good food, and even better service, our server Adam was excellent. I had the smoked wings and waffle, topped off with a Man-mosa, compromised of champagne, orange juice and beer. Very good. French toast and chicken, chicken tenders and eggs, shrimp and eggs, and beignets. If you're a local or visiting, definitely stop in.
We stopped in for lunch and ordered a basic smash burger and a steak ribeye sandwich. The burger was tasty with a generous amount of sauteed onions and cheese. The steak sandwich was a bit fatty and a bit of a disappointment. Service was very good and atmosphere ok. Hard to evaluate a place when only ordered a basic type of hamburger and generic steak sandwich. Maybe the classic Southern dishes are a better choice here.
Casual Southern eatery famous for brunch and friendly service. Shrimp and grits were very good, fried green tomatoes were excellent, and the Bloody Mary was exceptional!
We visited Page’s Okra Grill to celebrate a family birthday, and despite having a large group, the experience was impressively smooth. The restaurant was packed, but the staff handled the crowd well. Our server stayed attentive and efficient throughout the meal, which isn’t easy with a big table. The appetizers set the tone in the best way. The fried green tomatoes were thick, hearty, and full of flavor without being overly juicy. The fried okra was crisp and seasoned just right—both starters disappeared quickly. For my entrée, I chose the grilled seafood platter with collards and mac and cheese. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the scallops—though slightly on the rare side—were tender and tasty. I would’ve loved one or two more. The white fish leaned a bit salty for my taste, but the sides helped balance it out. Overall, the food was satisfying, the service was solid, and the atmosphere was lively without feeling chaotic.
Makenzie was wonderful and nice. Great atmosphere and service was quick. I had the porkk chops with fries and orka. The side were cooked well and tasted good. The pork chops were breaded poorly. When advised management I was told that how it's breaded because its light breading. I Just wished for a better response when an issue is brought to Management's attention.
I'm reviewing my experience. I going to start with the service. It was very bad! The waitress that I had, seem to me didn't want to spend to much time at my table. Everything she did was trying to go somewhere else. I order the flounder platter, fries and orka. The flounder was fishy and the fries was soft. The tartar sauce just made the fish more fishy. Orka was good. I ask the waitress for a dessert menu and had to wait for her to remember to bring me one. Once I got the menu I had a ? and she walked away. Another waitress seen this and ask me can she help. I ask if the carrot cake has raisins in it and she said yes! Got the cake and no raisins was in it, so I order the beignets with a lime custard and they was the best thing I had there. I paid $12 for a Lyft and i was upset with my experience, i walked back to the hotel 😃I just think this can be teaching moment, because I think everyone know who I am from the food I left. I think it's a great restaurant, but service make the experience much better especially when you are alone. And yes I paid for the carrot cake and tipped! Thank you!
Our server Sherri was amazing! Now the menu description of the “Huevos Rancheros Frittata” was VERY deceiving stating there would be a blackened chicken breast. There was no chicken breast and definitely no blackened chicken when the server tried to help us the manager/ and or kitchen was not helpful at all, and brought out the chicken pictured. Craziest part was the table next to us had the exact same problem. Everything else was good, all other plates were correct and delicious, our server was excellent as well. But, as far as management goes considering neither our table or the one next to us saw a manager after this issue is crazy and needs improvement.
