I really love coming to this place for drinks and snacks when I'm craving for something sweet or salty. The service is great but it's also a really packed spot so service can be a bit slow as well. This place is packed for a reason. Their staff, Justin is the kindest worker I've met. I go back pretty often and he always remembers my order. Overall, I highly recommend UMe Tea for boba drinks.

UME Tea is one of my favorite boba shops in the Bay Area! Their drinks are always fresh and flavorful — you can really taste the quality of the tea. The UME Fruit Tea and Taro Latte are my top picks. Perfect sweetness, smooth texture, and never too heavy. The shop is clean, the vibe is cozy, and the staff are super friendly. Highly recommend!

One of the best milk tea shop in downtown, great taste and very friendly staff. ~ 10 customers at 8:30 PM and still get milk tea within 3 mins. Highly recommend.

I went on a Saturday at noon and it was s000000 crowded. People were waiting for their orders that I think ordered online. Although it was so packed, service was friendly and they were working as fast as they could. The inside is super cute and pink with cute toys/ merch you can purchase. There's seating along the walls or outside. There's a touch screen to order at as well. The mango coco is soooo good, so fresh I love the mango and sago in it. The strawberry yogurt was amazing!!! Loved the chewy things in it. The matcha tiramisu was good with the cream on top and the cookie, I want to add boba to it next time!!! Popcorn chicken was fresh hot and crunchy and juicy!! If you go at a prime time just be prepared to wait. But the wait is overall worth it I think.

Not normally one to leavw reviews but Ume has become one of my favorite boba spots in the Bay. I love getting boba and their flavors and especially textures are so unique. I didn’t like the Coco Pistachio drink, but they let me exchange it for the Tiramisu Matcha Latte. The Mango Coconut Twilight is BOMB!!!!

Was ordering their mango yogurt smoothie everyday, so yummy every time and the bag is the cutest. Went in person and had an even better experience. Brought friends visiting from out of town and they said it may be the best boba shop they’ve been to. Loved loved the drinks and the surprise plush cups was so fun. 10/10 coming back again and again!

The snacks and drinks are very good, I highly recommend the curly fries and the popcorn chicken. The coco jasmine bloom is very good as well.

UMe Tea’s new drink is amazing! The blue and white layers look like a dreamy sky with a cute cloud marshmallow on top. The taste is refreshing and perfectly balanced with fruity sweetness and creamy milk. Highly recommend this new drink—beautiful and delicious, a must-try next time

Ume Tea is amazing! My daughter loves the bunny surprise cups, & the drinks are tasty. They offer a daily sample & their drinks do not disappoint. The location is a great for a date night or a day with the family. Ordering is a breeze and the decor is absolutely adorable.

Surprisingly classy place for boba. Ordering is done through the touch screen tablet making it nice and convenient. After that the drinks come pretty quickly. I enjoyed the taste of my drink, matcha strawberry with ice cream; though it was a bit sweet. I really liked the atmosphere in there; it’s got a fun vibe and a bunch of nick knacks you can take photos of. I’d try to go at least once if you’re close by.

Sometimes overcrowded, but it makes up on great music, good mexican bandas, and plenty of security.

First time there the experience was amazing, but is was so crowd and the ambient was awesome , nice place to forget your bad days

it’s cute! they had grape juice outside on a stand, but the wait is pretty long. it was around 20 mins, and the merch you can get is very adorable. i do like this place, and the drinks are good. it seems a little bit dirty, but i enjoy the concept and think it’s cute. i would come again

Top Notch bubble Tea Shop!!!! One of my favorites in the bay!!!! They’re great that is why there are many locations all over town. Lovely Interior here in Mountain View area. Surrounded by many various other shops and Restaurants. Drinks and Refreshments are Great to my Liking! Pretty in Pinks!! Stop by Ume 4 your delicious Spring Drinks!!!! I definitely recommend 😋🤍

4/5 vibes, 2/5 everything else. $20 cash only cover at the door (men and women). There is an ATM outside. Water is $4 and will be charged even at the bar. Shots about $11 each. Go after 10:30PM for best attendance. Lines will get long but move quickly starting at 10PM (Friday night). Note there is a bar both upstairs (much emptier) and two downstairs (one at entrance, would NOT recommend because of the line, and one near the dance floor). For beer, just go to the second floor dance floor ($8).

Food was not ok, drink was good. Ambiance was ok. It's a Mexican pub so the songs were playing were Mexican but soothing

It's a nice club for people who like reggaeton, cumbia, merengue, Banda. Basically latin music. The only complaint was I made a VIP reservation and I chose the tables I wanted and on the day I went they said there was a bigger party so they gave them the tables I had reserved. I had more than 10 people attending.

I love the teas here. 💛I've been visiting the shop for three years. 🥰 But I'm seeing more and more neglect in the store's cleanliness and presentation.🥲 It makes me wonder how clean the kitchens are where I can't see.😵‍💫 I could even see cobwebs.🕷️🕸️

I have been to several Ume locations including this one multiple times in the past, and I really enjoy their drinks. However, this past visit was the longest wait time we have had so far. It took 35 minutes for us to receive our 3 drinks on a weekday evening. It would be better if we knew an estimated wait time when ordering so that we would be better prepared to wait or know to not order if we are in a rush. The seating area also was filthy compared to usual, so it could have just been a very understaffed day. The drinks itself were still tasty like usual, however my Dubai Chocolate Shake tasted as if it was melted and too runny. It was more like just milk than a shake, but the flavors were very tasty. I am willing to keep going back to Ume because I've had several good experiences in the past, but this last visit really left me feeling disappointed.

I don’t recommend this place, never found a table, the place is full and you can not dance.. PLEACE PEOPLE GO TO MIAMI in San Jose.

Was excited to practice my new salsa moves. Entry was a bit high. Drinks were strong, niceee. The non-dance floor upstairs was sticky! Experience was good until the DJ started playing Daddy Yankee and Pitbull; that's when ear damage came into play. My partner didn't notice any pain but my ears started hurting. We were tired and went downstairs to leave and we both heard this deafening ringing in our ears!!!!! I didn't pay $40 bucks for two people to get ear damage! The DJ and sound techs don't know how to operate there gear properly. I can't imagine how many other people left last Saturday night with screwed up ears. Yes ear plugs would have been great... but I have never ever gone to a club that made my ears ring until around 7PM the next night. I went to the tea place across the street and the girl at the counter had the hardest time with our order because we couldn't hear anything. I don't plan to ever go back to that place. I would like to sue them for inflicting bodily harm but I don't see how I can prove this happened unless I came in with a decibel meter.. maybe I'll do that just to get this place shut down. Thanks for the tinnitus!

The security guard is unprofessional. The security guards, are very rude and disrespectful. The security guard is not allowed to beat up the customer or punch the customer. this is what the security have done to the customers in Monte Carlo nightclub. The security guards should not work there if they do not know how to appropriately do their job the right professional way. Some of the servers where even a bit rude to the customers. The servers need to learn how to treat the customers or they will loose customers. This is a place that I would never come back to ever again. Somebody needs to professionally train the security guard on how to do their job better. This place needs better customer service and better security guards.

Place is an absolute dump and there was bugs in the bathroom along with everyone doing illegal substances in there. The bartenders will take your money for a shot and they will pour water in their glass. The security guards are unprofessional and have no idea what they are doing. This is not a safe place. Do not go to this club! Your night will be ruined!

We had an event. It was ok, but come on why would you charge 20 glasses and we only saw one that broke that should be part of your pricing. Incidents happen and the party continued after the event. I know for a fact that they spent over 5000$ that night and you are petty as to charge 90$ 18 glasses that supposedly they broke. Very disappointed.

As someone said in the comments SCAMMERS! For bottle service, they asked for a deposit and literally placed a table for us halfway in the dance floor. Someone thought it was a trash table and put their dirty corona bottle. It was terrible and when we asked for our deposit back they refused. We noticed a bigger table available and we were ready to buy it, and purchase many bottles. The bottle girls said they were waiting for someone who had paid full price for it and was on their way but to wait in case they did not show up. They said to wait until 11, then 11:30, then 12. Until finally we realized what they were doing and were definitely playing favorites. The owner said the table was for an employee. They should’ve said that from the getgo!! Instead of having us wait there like idiots. We left and they kept the $100 deposit. Obvs this is not the first time they do it if you look at the comments, they really are discriminatory. Literally avoid this place!!!! Should be investigated by the bbb. Never again.

I was able to purchase their tea from TOO GOOD TOO GO app for 1/7/2026 pick up at 9:50pm. But when I got there, it says shop was closed for renovation. If that’s the case, just don’t put it online for sale, what a waste of time for us to travel there!
