Tried the loco Moco lots of rice kind of bland but definitely different eggs on top of hamburger patties it's pretty cool. Nice menu with more options than its competitor and I think a little bit more affordable. Nice professional friendly staff.

We tried Big Island BBQ today. Ordered the BBQ chicken salad, Loco Moco, Chicken Katsu plate and the Kalua Pork. Everything was good and would come back to try other dishes. Our favorite was the Katsu. The good looks very fresh. My only recommendation is to put the chicken separate from the mixed greens on the salad when the order is to go because the heat from the chicken "cooked" some of the greens. I wish the macaroni salad didn't have tuna but I know some people like it that way.

This restaurant has to be one of the best places to eat and drink and best customer service. Very organized during covd19. They are busy and on top of things the food is so delicious and the citrus tea and the smoothies were very cleansing for ur body. Everything about this restaurant is amazing I'm not thrilled at all with any places to eat right now. This place is convenient , confo4tbake, consistent and on time. I have so much great things to say. WAY WORTH THE DOLLARS SPENT . A PLACE SO GOOD U WILL SEE UR KIDS CASHING IN THEIR PIGGY BANKS CHANGE JUST TO HAVE UT FOR DINNER

I had to leave this review.... we bought a catering package Saturday June 6th. The food was ready on time as they said it would be, they helped us load it in the car promptly. As far as the portion size we bought, it seemed like we got way more than we paid for. The food was excellent. We served approx 60 people and everyone absolutely loved it. We had quite a bit of food remaining and those who wanted 2nds were able to. If you are doing a large party or even a small dinner, this is the place for Hawaiian food.

I am not actually a big fan of tea, but when this place opened, we went FOUR TIMES in ONE WEEK to try their teas because they were so addictive. They have a huge variety of flavors. They're colorful, fresh, sweet, and delicious. It'll be hard to run out of drinks to try. All of the teas so far have been excellent.

Young man working up front, Believe his name is Robert and he has tattoos and piercings. He is an absolutely the most sweetest cashier i’ve ever met. He was so welcoming, and brought my food to the table to me and my friends when it was ready. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the customer service, and the music was perfect for the setting :) I will keep recommending this place to my friends and family as long as employees like robert are working here.

My family really enjoyed the food. The service was great. There were several other people there to pick up their orders that were return customers. Their feedback was very good. Could have been a little more rice. Next time I will order extra. We were feeding 9 people and the price was excellent. Will definitely do it again.

Casually stopped by to try their bubble tea! Chose a Galaxy Lychee tea with lychee jelly and it was great!

Great place to grab some quick Hawaiian BBQ style food. The best thing about it is they even stock POG. I would give it 5 stars, but for some reason the discounts they have online have to be printed and cannot be shown digitally from your phone. In today's time accommodating e-versions of discounts is the norm.

Food was good and good size portions. The cashier was kinda rude but the men in the back were disgusting, dirty in appearance, and one was scratching his a$$. Floors were dirty and the bathroom was appalling. I wouldn't go back to this one.

Honestly pretty disappointed with my meal here. Paid 2 dollars extra for short rib and received a single strip of short rib. The brown rice was dry and in total i paid $20 for rice and about a half serving of meat. The staff was pretty friendly, i just feel like i was ripped off a bit. The meats are definitely tasty but I'll probably drive to the Ono in menifee next time im in the mood for Hawaiian.

Food is good, but I ordered the fried shrimp plate and instead of cocktail sauce they gave tartar sauce. I asked why and was told to get don't carry cocktail sauce. Who ever heard of that?? Please carry cocktail sauce.

Customer service was fabulous!! Ordered the Mac salad (2 scoops) and Musubi (spam n seaweed). Mac salad was very bland and dry Musubi was also dry no sauce well very little and I paid 11.00 was expecting better quality that's all.

Love the Masubi! Last time I asked for double vegetables (I'm not a fan of there macaroni salad) and I got almost all cabage and 1 tint broccoli... so not great. But, I am a repeat customer as I love their masubi and the meat is well seasoned.

They have small potions of rice, macaroni salad etc. The food is delicious, but my exclusive is outdated. I'm now strictly vegan so there is nothing here for me except brown rice. They have a fairly busy site, I recommend calling ahead to order for pickup. On another note, as a vegan I found the display on the interior wall a bit uncomfortable. I realize that's just me and my husband, and that others might not agree or care. But there are those who will be sensitive to it so be aware of that.

But the last 4 times I've been here, the music has been so loud that the person taking my order couldn't even hear me, was on his phone (a personal call on speaker) and didn't take our order because he didn't know we wanted to order, and is currently playing Black Sabbath so loud that I'm eating my meal in my car. When I was here on Sunday, I asked to have the music turned down so I could have a conversation at my table, and it was back up to the extremely loud volume within a few minutes. I want to keep coming here for the amazing food, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired.

While the portions for the price were nice, both mine and my boyfriend's food (rice chicken, and veggies) was very bland. Everything tasted the same. The sauces they provide were ok, but still lacking a pizzazz about them to warrant a better rating. The Thai tea was also way too sweet and not enough tea. While I was very hopefully about this place, I am now on the prowl for another island adventure that will hopefully bring the island to the mainland successfully.

New to the state and this area and did not quite understand the menu and made an honest mistake with my order. The store was not accommodating at all and I really think the girl at the front needs to go reevaluate her life decisions because she was very rude. With that said, first time and last time customer.

Worst customer service ever, ordered food and fruit drink for a to go order, drink was made incorrectly, miscommunication on what I wanted and when I tried to get a different drink or refund upon arriving Melia was completely rude and even saying the manager would never give a refund. $60 for food and treated the worst way for a simple mistake,

This place SUCKED. If you are planning to dine in be prepared to sweat because there was NO air conditioning. The food was not legitimate Hawaiian BBQ and there was green sludge/mold that was growing on the ice dispenser. Do not come here for Hawaiian BBQ unless you want to throw up after 😍

Update!!!!!! just went tonight for dinner and this place went down hill Chicken over cooked and dry kalua pork was dry and chewy. They said they would replace it . I hope next visit better because me and Fiance loved this place

I've been coming here for years to get the grilled salmon and rice. And they are giving less portions when it comes to the salmon. It looks like to me the pieces are thinner. I spend $18.40 on this plate and I'm not even full after I finish eating. But they put a whole bunch of veggies and rice but they definitely have cut back on the salmon. And I have noticed this over several times of purchasing this plate. One time I had to bring it back because it was like little pieces of salmon. They gave me nice size pieces but I think that this is what they're doing now is cutting the salmon in half and making it thinner. I would prefer restaurants leave the food alone and just raise the price more instead of giving less food. So I'm going to have to find me somewhere else to go to purchase salmon.
