The family combo is amazing! We opted for 2 orders of bbq chicken and kahlua pork. Everything was delicious. I made fried rice with the leftover rice and kahlua pork the next night. Topped with a fried egg made for perfect leftovers.
I personally love this place. Always good always clean never busy. It has a steady flow of customers. I normally deduct a star for how long you have to wait but i wont for thus place because i really like the place. Besides it is made fresh for every order thats why. They prepare every order when it is placed. Also they have never changed the chef so the food remains the same. Highly recommend it.
Everything tasted like the food I love at home in Hawaii!! We weren't waiting long for our order and you get so much food for not a lot of money. We will definitely be back when we're craving some Hawaii local favorites.
This place is one of the more popular places, especially for takeout or UberEats/Door Dash, in Murrieta. Personally I love their Moco Loco, and eat it almost once every week. Chicken katsu is also good, but best when eaten onsite.
Food here is good, service is always spot on, the place itself is clean and has a good feeling.
I just had the BEST chicken Katsu in a long time .The chicken was thick not paper thin like another Hawaiian bq place near me. The rice was cooked perfectly too.The door dash delivery was quick .Thank you.
Hawaiian fast food place. If you love meat, this is the place to be! Curry Katsu is a MUST! Consider their family packs if 4+people. It goes a looking way!
I order their food from GrubHub a few times a month. It's so good! The macaroni salad is fantastic. The chicken is always sooo good. 10/10 would recommend!
Barbeque Chicken and Fried Katsu chicken are very tasty! Affordable, big portions, . Open 7 Days 11am to 9pm. Not to mention, this place is super clean all the time! I love it here.
Tasty food, with quick service and not too busy. One recommendation would be to play some music to set the scene a little bit! Definitely will be back.
The place is very clean very friendly and very accommodating and on a hot day the air conditioning works great it's nice and cool in here. To top it off the food was really awesome. I had the Teriyaki combo and my wife had this Seafood BBQ combo and at a great price too think he's platter was $8.88 or $9 and some change, drink were extra.
I got the Chicken Katsu Curry and I did not expect to be so surprised by the amount of food there was. I've been here before and the Mac salad is something I'm in love with so I already know the food was going to be good. I don't often enjoy Mac salad but this place has the best one on the planet. The portions were gigantic and delicious. I will always come back again in the future whenever I crave Mac salad and to try more menu items.
My daughter works in the shopping center and I came to visit her ( I live 2 hours away). She really loves this store and wanted me to see it. Claudia helped us and answered all my questions. She was incredibly sweet, friendly, and very informative as I've never seen a store like this. I definitely recommend stopping in and playing a view claw machines!
The food is AMAZING the Katsu chicken is tender and juicy. Compared to other places I have tried, everything here was prepared perfectly 🔥🙏🏽 Jasmine was so helpful and an absolute sweet heart. Will come back next time to try the BBQ Chicken.
I had the chicken katsu with curry and it was soooo good !!! The wait was a little long but nothing exaggerating. Besides, it was worth the wait when the food came out hot and fresh! Definitely worth trying!
Been going here for years. There's been many that come and go. Good food, service and environment. Aloha and Mahalo! 🤙🏼
Not the best Hawaiian bbq restaurant but it does the job.

Good Hawaiian food. I got the tri meat plate, which was delicious. Seasoned all the way through. The macaroni salad could be kicked up another notch, but Hawaiian macaroni salad is usually pretty universally on the bland side. This just seemed a little more than usual. Portions were great, and I definitely will return.
Food was delicious. Large portions. Very friendly staff.
Good food, nice cooks, clean environment and I got treated very nicely by the cashier kaia. Loved our conversation. She made sure I felt welcome and kept a nice talk with me. I would love to come back! Thanks Kaia!
I got the chicken katsu with curry. Really good and the chicken cutlet was really crispy. Had to wait a little but it was dinner time and they were busy. Customer service was great as well. Will be returning!
The food is literally always good here. Never a problem with my order, staff is all super friendly. The food is made fresh, so ordering ahead is a great idea if you're short on time.

The food is so good. Hands down my favorite mac salad. I didn't give 5 starts only because the wait and line can be long. I like to always call my order in so it's quicker.
The woman at the counter is good- natured, very accommodating, and has a welcoming attitude. She remembers me well and asks for me whenever my daughter comes to get my orders for me. I keep ordering not only because I find Mahi-mahi great to my taste as well as the macaroni salad with it but because of the good service.
Food was ok. Portions are pretty big. Food tasted pretty good. The teriyaki chicken was the best of the three meats I had. I also had a spam musubi. Nothing like something u would try in Hawaii.
A good Hawaiian gem! Great food overall and quaint atmosphere. The Katsu was very nicely done. Crispy without being oily. The short ribs were tasty but could have been a little more tender. Also very much liked the desserts and the variety they offer in their menu. The one plate with the two meats was definitely shareable. Some of the meat was a bit dried out when we got it on the chicken combo though, but the beef was good. The best part by far is the delicious macaroni salad! Can't get enough of it.
Reviewed on 2018-11-30 Ever since our visit to Hawaii, our kids have always loved the katzu chicken! So when they were craving it, we searched for Hawaiian restaurants nearby, and came upon Ohana! When we received our order, we were happy to see the large amount of chicken. It was more than enough and it left us full. The chicken was very crunchy and not undercooked. While there is a small portion of macaroni, the texture and taste is very good to where it's creamy but not soggy. Overall, if you are ever looking for a reasonable priced and good proportioned food this is the place for you!
I ordered the chicken Teriyaki and shrimp. I was surprised to see the rice all under the chicken smothered in sauce. That kind of ruined it for me because i dont like a ton of sauce on the rice. The portion size for the price is much smaller than other Hawaiian BBQ places. The chicken and shrimp was pretty good. No veggies as I thought the chicken would have been over a bed of cabbage or veggies. Rice soggy with sauce and the Mac was good.

I love the food here but am not a fan of the wait. I call at 4 to place an order and am told to give them 15 mins. I drive over there and get there around 4:25, tell them that I ordered over the phone, give them my name, pay. My food isn’t ready, no worries. It’s now 4:45 food still isn’t done and it’s not busy. I understand there are doordash orders etc but this is rough. I came up to see how much longer the wait was and she turned around and my food had been done the whole time. It was behind her when I walked in and she never checked the name. This isn’t the first time something like this is happened. I’m bummed.
Food is always awesome! Customer service on the other hand... cashier girls always have a certain attitude, even when asking for utensils or sauce. Never a friendly hello or thank you. Having a better first impression/service would pair well with the great food.
Dude cooking my food should be wearing hairnet and gloves. Sloppy looks waited almost 25 minutes for takeout. Never been here before. Won’t be back. I live seven minutes away from restaurant when I got home. Rice was cold. Meat was lukewarm not vey good at all

Food was ok. I have a complain, I ordered food in Uber eats and I clearly left a note. Last time they ignored the note section. So this time I said please make sure to not add dressing to the salad and add utensils. Of course they didn’t even bother to read it. Like I said that wasn’t the first time. I think it’s time I stop ordering from here. The note is also on the receipt so I’m not sure why they keep missing the notes…
Cashier was incredibly rude and impatient. Was annoyed by me asking questions and wanting utensils. The Nori they use for the spam musubi tastes really fishy which isn't pleasant.
Arrived at opening to find floor and tables that we're filthy, had to wipe done on own table. Service was terrible, even after tipping them at time of order. I ordered a smoothie that was fresh and decent. Moco loco was average, nothing special. Food was definitely prepackage and reheat; hamburger patty had no seasoning, gravy was very salty, and macaroni salad was bland. Ok price for amount of food, but considering the service and flavor I would never make the drive to come back.
The food tasted good but I got sick around 5 hours after I ate it (sign of food poisoning). The shop was nothing amazing and is definitely a local place. You can try your luck there and hopefully you don't get sick. The cashier was nice though.
The food quality was not great- my entree consisted of chunks of chicken that tasted severely freezer burned slathered in a tasteless sauce, with some white rice and a little bit of macaroni salad. The prices also seemed a little high for what you got. The menu also has no descriptions on what things are or what it comes with, which was frustrating.
I hate to write a bad review because the staff there was so nice. The food quality was just poor. The fish I got was so overcooked I thought it was chicken. It also had a funky fishy smell and you could just tell it was frozen nasty fish. I didn't trust it. The rice was overly mushy like it had been sitting in a rice cooker for way to long. The shrimp was good and crispy. No complaints there.
I ordered the kalua pork with cabbage. it was more like cabbage with small pieces of Pork.... and unfortunately the pork is dry... how can you charge 12.95 for cabbage, a small amount of dry meat, rice and pasta salad... I usually love this place but this one is not worth the money.

WARNING! Bone in Teriyaki chicken!! Broke my crown/tooth on bone in chicken! Chicken made us sick… very disappointing. Workers were very polite and nice .. manager showed no concern . He wouldn’t speak to me . Not even a sorry about the incident. I wish we would of read other reviews before ordering our food. It looks like we were not the only ones sick after eating here . And the price was outrageous once you factor in fixing my tooth! ☹️ Never again would I eat here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wish I could add the picture of the bone , tooth and receipt so the manager would know… I’m telling the truth! your chicken has bones !!!! Once again Warning ⚠️ if you decide to eat here take caution when chewing !
I have been going to this place for a long time, tonite we order a few items, one plate with chicken, when we got home the plate had burger meat.....I called and they ask for the receipt, I said I threw away already I have the plate in front of me Do u need a picture? I can take the food to you and u can exchange it? Without a receipt we can't We were just there a few minutes ago? You told us 15 min and it was over 30 min of waiting......I don't eat ground beef otherwise I would it eat it. Also the eggs were uncooked. I wont be going there anymore !!! Maybe new owners?
The worst experience ever! They messed up the order and couldn’t separate the 2 different orders that was made CLEAR. Food all over my lap and car!!! The worst part was when I spoke to the Manager he just didn’t care AT ALL said this is a Family owned business I couldn’t do anything about it…… Eventually I got my $ back but the memory sits unfortunately. Ever since they started hiring young kids this business went to the sewer!
Poor customer service, owner Mike said he doesnt care about customer service himself. Me and my family have been coming here for 7 years but we won't be back.
Didn't have any problems but on my third visit my wife and I split the chicken combo. I got mild food poisoning (sever stomach cramps, cold sweats, vomited then felt fine) but my wife who is diabetic was hospitalized. Their food was the only thing we shared, so I know it was from here. I explained the situation to the young manager and she went into a practiced speech how in the 15 years they have been in business they have never had a problem with people getting sick. Being from the restaurant business I find that hard to believe. She did apologize but seemed more concerned with protecting the business. In fact she didn't even ask if my wife was okay. Yeah, thanks a lot guys.
If I could give a negative for the food I would. My family and I ate there today 5/6/24. Very disappointed. The four of us got extremely sick to our stomach. Vomit and diarrhea since we left… I’m not sure what they put in the food, but I don’t recommend it. Shame on you
I’m sorry to brake the news to everyone but this place is dirty, smells weird, and the owners have raised the prices twice these past months, the staff are great but management really lacks quality. Food quality has gone down hill.
I like the meat here, but I do not like the plain white rice nor the macaroni salad. So I asked to substitute the sides, to which I was offered fries and a casar salad for an extra $1.29 for each substitute. I don't think I should have to pay extra when I'm already ordering one of the most expensive items on the menu, but after a small complaint I agreed. When I got home and opened my container the "caesar salad" was a handful of wilted lettuce with no salad dressing AT ALL (Shouldn't caesar salad have caesar dressing??), no croutons nor parmesean cheese. Those are the staples of caesar salad, right? I would've even been 1/2 satisfied if there was at least dressing on the side, but nope- nothing but wilted lettuce! I called the order in & was quoted 15-20 minutes time frame. Got there 1/2 an hour later only to have to wait an additional 15 min, on top of the 15 min overdue they already were from the original wait time estimate given. When I got home I called to complain only to be told the manager was too busy and was letting me know she refused to remake my plate. I didn't even ask for that, was hoping to just speak to a mature manager who would counsel the staff to not short a customer on their order. We've lived here for 12 years and live right down the street so we would come to this restaurant at least once every couple of months. My family enjoys their mac salad, but I always end up only eating the meat. All I wanted was decent substitutes- maybe fried rice instead of plain white rice? They aren't generous with their meat seasoning/ sauce, so plain white rice is not my preference of eating my starch. I've had Hawaiian bbq in San Diego and in Oahu, Hawaii. Both of those restaurants did put this lil' rinky dink establishment to shame with hands down amazing food with friendly, kind and courteous service. My family will NEVER go back to this place

Taking advantage of your money, greed the chicken katsu mean was 11 dollars it's now 15.95 lol 😂😂 I literally walked out of here, when people buy this food at this unethical prices there gonna continue to stay in business we have to set an example and not allow this .If people stopped coming here they will get the message what there doing is completely wrong and greedy please people don't support this business...Also this food has hair in it and I also seen roaches here
Do not go here. Sorry to say, but the place is incredibly dirty. You can see inside the kitchen from the register. The man placing chicken on the grill was using barehands on the food containers, while also handling cash transactions at the register. I went here on a Tuesday for lunch, I work right around the corner. It was 12:15 when I placed my order with Uber eats. I received a notification 15 min later that my order was ready and I was already at the restaurant so I entered in and told the employee I was there to pick up. He said "it will be ready shortly." I waited for 20 minutes, and by 12:50 I had to leave because I start work again at 1:00. How in the world does it take more than 40 minutes to get your food at lunch time????!? I told them I needed to go, they rudely said I needed to wait, or I can cancel my order on Uber. I assumed this meant I would be refunded so I cancelled my order and left. Today I see I was charged for my order, and after contacting Uber, they said there is nothing they could do. Poor service, 40min+ wait at lunch time on a weekday, dirty kitchen, rude employees, do not go here.
