I went February 3rd at 830pm and omg, what an amazing staff. The cashier was such a nice, lovely woman! We had a great conversation while I was waiting for my drink. Then when I got my drink the barista that made it, made this awesome little note on my cup! Totally made my night. Thank you Starbucks!!
My go to drive thru place to order coffee or dragon fruit drink. They have fantastic workers who are always attentive and courteous.
Great spot and right off the freeway. Never too long of a wait no matter how many cars are in the drive through.
Opens really early, so far the best Starbucks in the area when it comes to mobile orders. When I am going through Calaveras, I pull over, place my order via the Starbucks app, and when I get there is ready for me to pickup. Great location for those with a commute from the East Bay towards Mountain View.
Excellent place to study or talk. This place has a style of seating for everyone: a long table, a booth table, small tables, and coffee tables. There is plenty of room and there is a drive-thru. It's one of the best Starbucks stores in the city.
This is actually the best Starbucks around NorthSJ/Milpitas area. Good service, friendly staff - sometimes instead of yelling your name they bring it to you. Also it's fairly spacious with various types of seating: couch, booth, long table, and tall chair, and standard chair/desk.
Good place to work. Esterday at the end of the day at 8:05 pm baristas distributed samples of coffee-based tasty drinks with chocolate and ice cream among people who were in the cafe at that time. I was pleasantly surprised.
Very nice Starbucks; thoughtful baristas; very comfortable room for meeting a friend, reading, working while drinking good coffee and snacks. Excellent parking; drive thru is efficient.
Great drive through experience. Quick and accurate. Thank you.
Had a different interior design compared to other starbucks. Like for example there is a section that looked like a den for a private section for a customer to do their work. I thought this was interesting and great!!
Nathan is the best barista, every time I go to this Starbucks he knows my order and I don’t even have to tell him what I want to order, that shows he cares for his clients and the company; he always ensure that my order is correct. He has a very good personality thank you so much Nathan for your great customer service! *Brown Sugar Oatmilk Shaken Espresso*
Just went through the drive thru and had a great experience. My order was ready when I got to the window and the employee was so friendly. He stated it was only his third day on the job and I definitely think he is doing a great job! Wish all Starbucks employees were as nice and friendly as he was. Update went back through drive thru and had the same employee (Jahrell). Provided great customer service again and my drink was delicious. He’s doing an excellent job.
I can't say enough good things about the staff at this location. When I've called other local locations to order a Coffee Traveler for a meeting, I got all sorts of run-arounds in terms of ordering, how long it would take to get ready, etc. Well, I called this site today, and my call was answered promptly by Robbie. He said my coffee could be ready in as little as 10 minutes, no hassle! When I arrived, I was pleasantly greeted by name, my coffee was ready, and there was a nice selection of fresh pastries to choose from. Great service at this location!
I mostly go through the drive through here, which is always efficient and easy to use. Never had a mistake in my drink order.most recently, I was actually asked if by "extremely light ice" I wanted to specify a specific number of cubes! They apparently have a button for that, in addition to specifying things like pumps of syrup. That being said, in the future I'll just stick to "light ice" as a small number of cubes left it still warm. It's easy to spot this place from the road when looking for it, but if you're headed east and wish you had turned in as you pass it, just turn right on Abel then Serra to come back around - it's in the point of the triangle, so easy to get back.
Plenty of parking at this location. When you walk inside, the floor plan is more open. I don’t feel like I’m going to bump another customer. I also like the seating arrangement and there’s plenty of seats. My husband and I for one year went to a different Starbucks whenever we had a chance. Whatever location you go to, enjoy and relax, after all it’s Starbucks.
great courteous, service clean restrooms upbeat drive thru speaker voice tones. open convenient late night hours . wish was all able to give individual outside store front with canine and cart some water and or food.
This Starbucks was very busy but the team kept up with demand. Thank you! Also- the new potato chive bakes are delicious. Order them.
best seating in all South Bay. literally dunno what I'd do without the place. it's great
I have been to this Starbucks over 20 times and it is always on point. The staff and ambience here are exceptional. It's extremely busy as it is along the calaveras blvd, a never ending river of traffic. Despite the amount of customers, I have never had to wait longer than 8 minutes which is seriously incredible. I don't understand how anyone could possibly rate this Starbucks less than 5, maybe the rater was having a bad day or something.
This is a great Starbucks, one of the nicest layouts I've seen at a Starbucks. The store hours online say 10:30, but that's just the drive-through, the actual store closes at 9:30. The staff was nice and everyone around was quiet.
Overall typical Starbucks but location is great and staff are friendly. Can get really busy since it located in a prime area in Milpitas
First time here in many years and truly enjoyed the chill vibes and decor inside.
This is one of those newer concepts with drive through. Very friendly and prompt service!
Drinks made great, always yummy. Friendly service most days. Never any issues with my orders.
This is a great Starbucks. They have plenty of seating. The staff are courteous and provide quick and efficient service. The whole place is kept clean by staff and customers alike.
The baristas are excellent at this location. They are helpful with my customized drink orders. The drinks always come out right. The food is average, but no fault of the store. Starbucks food, in general, is just average. Great location and atmosphere!
I regularly visit the nearby Starbucks and always enjoy my time there. My go-to drinks are the Vanilla Cappuccino with coconut milk and the Shaken Espresso with oat milk. Both are consistently delicious. If I'm hungry, the Banana Loaf is a perfect snack. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy, making it a great place to relax. Highly recommend!
I am not a Starbucks person, so I only go to Starbucks once in a while. I came to this Starbucks on the way back after dropping off my boyfriend at the airport. It was the first time I went to this location, and it is by far the best interior-designed Starbucks I've ever been to. The whole atmosphere is very neat and cozy. It has the open area seating as well as the semi-private seating. I was able to find a table at a corner and I loved it. As an introvert person, this semi-private seating just gave me so much comfort; I felt safe being in the corner all by myself. Bacon, Sausage, and Egg Wrap is always good as usual. It is one of my favorite breakfast wraps. I've been buying this wrap whenever I go to Starbucks for breakfast, and it has never disappointed me. The parking lot is quite big at this location. I didn't have trouble finding a parking space at all.
A very nice place to listen music or work on laptop with a coffee. This one is spacious and at a wonderful location at the entrance of milpitas from 880fwy. I ordered for a hot latte, my son - mocha cookie crumble and my wife went for a caramel ribbon crunch. I got a latte Frappuccino 😀 but they quickly replaced it with the right one without asking too many questions so amazing service as well. Right now enjoying these drinks 🥤 🙂
Came in for quick fix on coffee. Staffs are friendly, n helpful on items on shelves w no price tags.
Love that this location has a drive thru. I go through the drive thru often because I usually have my 2 children and I don't want to go in there with them to grab something that would just take 2 minutes since I usually place mobile orders at Starbucks. They messed up on the redemption of my stars vs my birthday drink when I told them that I wanted to redeem a birthday drink
This particular place is nice. Great spot to get some work or hwk done. Good size cafe room with plent of outlets. Drive thru makes it easy as well. Decent sized parking and friendly staff.
Friendly service and a good customer experience. Would have given it five stars if the bathrooms would have been clean. They were filthy. Especially at 6:00 in the morning.
One of the larger Starbucks around. There is a long table for groups, plush chairs, high tables, 1 semi-private booth, and lots of smaller tables. It has 2 non gender bathrooms as well and a drive-thru. The negatives on this place is the parking lot has just enough spaces for a place this big but the configuration is awkward and the drive-thru line can cause problems for the parking. Add to the heavy traffic on Calaveras Blvd, exiting can be tough and take awhile to get out.
One of the best Starbucks I've found in the U.S. mainly that they are open later, have lots of seating in a nice wide open spot and they even have plugs still (wow). The bad thing is that they play rap music, I'm not into the thug mentality. Not sure if it is a step up from the oldies/blues they seem to play at most of the stores I go to, but Starbucks could do better with their music choices.
Nicest designed Starbucks in the area and definitely bigger than the usual locations. Never a long wait in line and drinks come out relatively fast. Seating is hard to come by but can be had if you wait. There are many people with laptops here. Staff is nice.
This is a nice big Starbucks with a drive thru. The staff is friendly and greeted me. The drink was decently made. I got an Iced Green Tea Latte. Parking could be a little better though. They're spaced apart and away from the building.
Service is slow. Overall a nice place to spend evening with friends and family.
I like the different types of seating arrangement for different purposes. Employees I've encountered with at this store are always friendly
Consistent as one would expect. Does seem every time I go in here, it seems to take longer to get my beverage. They should consider getting another expresso machine given the volume they do.
Really good place to order. They'll have your drink on time or before the time estimate. It does get packed in the morning if you're look to dine in. So plan accordingly.
Happy coffee! First time stopping at this Starbucks with a couple of friends. Walked in about 30 to 45 minutes before they closed on a Friday or Saturday night. Lounging area; 3 diff varitions & cozy. Needed some feedback on a couple of drinks as well as suggestions and staff stepped up to the plate. They were helpful & super sweet all through our visit and when it was time to close, they were just as respectful, courteous and patient.
Great and consistent service, nice seating area. It can be really loud when busy. 05/31/25: I did notice earlier today, the drive-thru line was out to Calaveras Boulevard, someone was taking order by the front door while the drive-thru line was empty. Maybe he/she can pay attention next time and move the line further in, so more cars can fit? On that note, people, if the line was that long, just park and get out. You'll get your order quicker. :)
My drive through experience was average. They took more than 10 minutes to prepare chai tea laate. I placed an order 15 minutes earlier and it took almost half an hour to get a drink. I must say drive through was slow.
Good spot for a coffee. Reason for not giving 5 stars is for always getting my order wrong. I understand everyone once in awhile but EVERYTIME I go? I only order 1 drink and every time they forget the sweetener... They need to be more focused...
Coffee is good most days but several options become obsolete without notice. The food isn't always fresh and I saw a roach once in a Starbucks. Expensive but they are always kind enough to give you a large cup of water, even if you purchase nothing else. Service is usually very good and rather quick. Starbucks is always around the corner!
Had my first bad experience ever in Starbucks yeaterday. Had ordered a cappuccino and figured out after i got into my car that they missed adding caffeine to it. Went back and was surprised at their reaction. They did not even feel apologetic that a customer had to come back for this
Staff for the most is friendly and nice. The cleanliness of the place not so good… restrooms are always nasty. And tables and counters not cleaned well or often enough. During this pandemia as Fauci, Biden and Newsome have warned. We must be careful and cleanliness is one of those things that help infections and viruses minimized. I go to the Calaveras Starbucks almost daily and have been here on days, afternoons, and evenings and the restrooms are always nasty. Do employees use that restrooms and then prepare our drinks and meals? I wonder. Some times the restrooms don’t have soap in the dispensers either. Just saying Starbucks with all the money they make I’m sure can do better than that.
I ordered two traveler coffee boxes for a meeting for a coworker that was leaving us. My order took 45 min to prepare. I even asked about my order after 20 min. They forgot all about it. I arrived at our meeting with 15 min till the conclusion. I threw one of the travelers away as there wasn't enough time for everyone to get coffee. Very disappointed in the service here.
This is not a Starbucks to come to if you are in a hurry, on your lunch break, or on your way to work. This location is very busy and very slow. It seems as if they are understaffed. I waited almost 10 minutes in line and there was only 2 people in front of me. After awhile I had to leave without ordering or else I was going to be late for work. If you can, go to the Starbucks on Park Victoria. They really know how to get the line moving over there.
I primarily order mobile app. And pick up the drink at the drive through. Every time I pick up my venti cold brew with no ice. I'm given ice in my drink and it's not light ice it's half the cup. I go through the drive through cause I drive directly to work, which is 20mins away. By the time I notice the ice I'm already diving off cause I don't want to get caught in traffic.
Service and personal friendly and efficient. The atmosphere was less than perfect. The dining and restrooms were untidy and the piped in music was too loud to carry on a work related phone conversation. Also a negative, several homeless persons in the dinning area
Arrived here after lunch, my first time to this location. First impressions were good, it's spacious and lots of seating. However, I stood at the counter being ignored by 3 employees who just walked right by me - not one word, not even a "hello, I'll be right with you." Fine, whatever. For some reason my order took forever to make, but when they finally finished my order they simply left it at the counter. I never would've known that my order was finished if I hadn't walked up to check for myself. In a nutshell: service here sucks. There are other Starbucks nearby and Paris Baguette across the street. I'd rather spend my time/money elsewhere.
Everything was great right up until I asked for straws in the drive thru. Usually things are awesome at this location but the gentleman that I asked for straws, after waiting patiently because I knew they were busy and the person that helped me had to step away to continue taking orders. I apologized and said thank you, she had to step away before I could ask. His response of, "Well she's busy taking orders, BYE!", was completely uncalled for. I wasn't upset or rude, didn't yell or wave for attention. I've never received customer service like that. That one sentence made an otherwise great experience pretty bad.
Only empty table had dirty cups on it, so asked at the counter if anyone can clean it? Counter person said I can clean it up myself, lol what!? I don't want to touch other people's germs. "No worries , I can give you gloves!!" LOL 😂😂 what's wrong with your staff Starbucks ??
New matcha taste very bad,and they charge for extra matcha,I drinks every day other store don’t charge for extra.
Not the worst location and by far not the best- unclean, can’t get an order right- three times have been here to get a simple nitro cold brew with sweet cream- very simple- first time tasted like I was drinking straight sweet cream, next time no sweet cream, and third a teaspoon of sweet cream 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ also their drive through- took my money but had to wait 2-4 minutes for the girl to pick up my drink that was in front of her and hand it out the window.
Got asked to leave at 9:15 (closing time is 10pm) while waiting for my order. Received my order after 15 minutes and yet they managed to get my coffee order wrong. Very unprofessional, all staff was more concerned in closing early than giving customer service. At least get my order correct!
Really unorganized and dirty all the time. Starbucks ought to take a page from In n Out. Try happy and clean. Staff untrained, tripping over each other,. Never Dawn's on them to wipe down counters. Smells of stale cream.
My hot chocolate was burned. I had to return because one of my items was missing. The staff was joking around and dancing which would be fine if they could present quality orders at the same time. This messed up my day.
where are all the adults in this place,it’s just a bunch of kids who work here. When i ordered my stuff i was grabbing the drink and they didn’t close the lid because it just spilled all over me and they didn’t even apologize they instead laugh at your face. Never going back here.
This Starbucks dissapoints me everytime. Im a mom of twins and sometimes I just need a quick cup of coffee and this is by far the slowest Starbucks drive thru I have ever been through. As well as they are always out of all their products and don't let you know till you have already ordered and are at the window so you feel rushed to either cancel your order or make a quick change to something you don't even really want because you don't want to hold up the line since you know everyone has been waiting a long time because they are extremely slow here. Are you under staffed? Or just need new training? I will drive further to a different Starbucks rather than waste my time here.
The employees had closed the store at 9:56 PM & didn't let me in. I approached the drive-through window at 9:57 PM after a vehicle left but was told that the store was closed. I had driven 10.9 miles to the only Starbucks store open nearby, and had to leave without a drink! Why do they list their hours until 10 PM, if they stop working at 9:55?
This place refuses to allow you to use the restroom before purchase. I'll take my money elsewhere.
A spacious Starbucks, but incredibly loud with the music. I was surprised there were so many available tables, but it's a unwelcoming location so it makes sense not many people were inside. Won't be returning to this location.
It a nice and clean store, too bad the service is poor. The one time i pay with cash they check to see if my bill was real, and it was a $10 bill. The cashier (probably a college kid) looked at the bill like it was some type of foreign object. He proceeded to mumble something under his breath, and took 30 seconds to verify the bill. I'll never buy coffee from this Starbucks again.
I am new customer, I received a gift card for my birthday and wanted to use my card on 5/27/22. I have not been to this location and was not aware of the ordering process. I drove into the drive through order line and begin to wait for my turn to order. as I was waiting I realized there was an employee at the other end of the parking lot taking orders an that I had bypassed her. The girl taking orders continued taking the order of the vehicle behind. At this point the employee. Once the employee finished with that order they ignored my attempts to flag them down to explain what had happened and place my order. So I continue up to the normal drive through menu and say hello. An employee greets me on the other end and says hello and I explain to the employee that I accidentally had passed the other employee taking orders and still needed to place mine since she did not acknowledge me. I was told that they will not take my order now because I will mess up everyone elses order and I will have to go back around and start over. By this time there were at least 10 cars behind me and I explained that it was an honest mistake and that I did not intend to bypass anyone intentionallly. The employee stated that I could tell them what I want but will have to go to the window and order it again. So I finally get up to the window and I have to explain myself yet again and tell them what my order is. I then tell them what I want but they tell me I'll have to go inside and order for it and pay for it because they have other orders that are ready before mine and I needed to move to the side. By this time, I simply lost all desire to have what I hoped would be a delicious nitro cold brew. Instead I'm left with nothing but a horrible customer service experience.
Started going to this Starbucks about 6-7 months ago, ever since the one by my house closed. Iced coffee with sweet cream was amazing first 2 times I had it there, and after that it would be a guess on what I would get. No consistency. They really skimp on Sweet Cream, sweetener, and all other ingredients it seems like. I ordered an Iced Caramel Macchiato today thinking, how can this get messed up? When I picked up my order, I could just tell by looking at it something was wrong. I stirred it and took a sip, no sweetner and no caramel. I had to wait 5 minutes to finally get the baristas attention and I just simply asked her to remake my drink. She never asked what was wrong with it and I never gave any details, I just asked her to remake it. When she gave it back, she slammed it down and walked away. Never apologized, or asked me to taste it to make sure it was correct. It was better than the first one, but still not what it should be. I ended up throwing it away when I got to work because I just couldn't drink it. I will not be returning again.
I can't believe that they have store hours and they do not respect that. It is 8:50 pm and the lobby is already closed but their hours are supposed to be until 9:30pm. Had to go drive thru and still had no ingredients for my drinks, no sleeves for cups, i burned my hand. To top it off when i left the place one of my drinks was wrong, i got someone else's drink. I'm very disappointed beside that I already think starbucks is overrated
Extreme poor service: they close doors at random time without any notice while still accepting mobile orders when I came to the side door at least two staff members saw me but simply ignored me, after calling the location I was informed that all orders are needed to be through drive-in this added extra 15 minutes in stupid line - line was slow only because barista talked for no reason with each car for 2-5 minutes and FINALLY, when I got my order just another person came to side door like me and they opened and took out order without line!! just disgusting service and obviously never stop here again
I live in this neighborhood, therefore I go here the most, although that has to change, since every other time they get my drink wrong, let me explain yesterday Friday 10/10/2025 at around 6 pm, my wife, my daughter and I, went for a drink, I ask for very little ice due to that ugly cough going around, but miss little Filipino or Hawaiian girl fill the cup with more than half of ice , when I ask her to remove some ice she got mad and kept saying I put only one scoop of ice , she was mad and agitated from the beginning and kept ignoring my request, the cashier was kind enough to do it for me, I get some of this kids are spoil, as I say I have a teen daughter, but when it comes to me paying for something that I know how its done I wanted my way not hers in this case, she don't know or understand she has a job because of regular customer like me, so whoever in charge here needs to do something if they want to keep regular customers coming in.
I just went to this Starbucks and the service was TERRIBLE. I’m not sure the person we had as our server but they had a ginger buzz cut. I went with my cousins and we were taking a minute or two to give our order, and this person was being extremely rude about it. 0/10 customer service and it made me not want to come to this Starbucks again
I had a very disappointing and upsetting experience at this Starbucks location today. The cashier, whose name was Tram, displayed incredibly unprofessional behavior. I simply asked if I could place an order, and she responded with clear frustration and attitude, making me feel completely unwelcome. She walked around letting customers wait unnecessarily, then showed visible anger toward me when I approached to order. After preparing my drink, she slammed it on the counter and gave me a hostile look — as if she wanted to start a confrontation. This is absolutely unacceptable behavior in a customer service role. No customer should be treated this way. I left feeling disrespected and upset. I hope management addresses this issue seriously, as this kind of experience reflects poorly on the Starbucks brand.
This is the first rude experience we have ever had with a Starbucks barista. Their name was Tram and she was incredibly rude to my father. He usually never complains, but this experience had him asking me to leave a review. We also heard her berating the customer in the drive thru line in front of us. Not only was she rude at the speaker, but after we heard her berating the customer in front of us and we pulled up, she was once again rude to us. Tram should not be working customer service.
Never order from this location need more experience and customer service
This complaint is about the visibly male manager who was on duty on March 14, 2025, around 2:45 PM Pacific Time. I walk in, set up my laptop, get on the phone. The manager needed less time than it took for the call to connect to be onto me and demand I make a purchase to use the premises. Approx. ten minutes later, and I am in the middle of the phone call: he comes back and insistently places the same demand. Uncouth, beyond inconvenient, and completely unnecessary. I reply, interrupting myself to the person on the phone with me, that I will be right with them to place my order. I was thinking of getting an iced coffee. As the phone call concludes, I take stock of what just happened. I change my mind. So, I ask for the manager on duty, realizing he’s the same person as the one who was unrefined in addressing a person on the phone, and calmly ask him for the corporate phone number to make a complaint. I therefore call Starbucks corporate’s 1-800 number, select the option to speak in Canadian French, and leave. The manager successfully obtained what he truly wanted from the moment he saw me walk into the store: to have me leave. It’s obvious my kind of people (French speakers with Caucasian origins) are unwelcome at this Starbucks location. This fact can be explained by the politics currently prevailing in California.
We ordered a medium sized coffee and the server gave the cup only half filled with coffee. I am well aware that is not normal and when we asked to fill it to full, the server was repeatedly arguing how the cup was supposed to be filled only half. Really poor service.
I placed a mobile order and drive thru pickup. The barista was so rude about it. They started yelling at me and said that the app says 4-5 minutes and why are you here and there are orders ahead of you. Horrible service.
I have spent thousands of dollars at Starbucks and visited hundreds of stores all over the US. This store is the very first store that refused to give me a cup of ice. It was totally discrimination and elder abuse.
rude employee. we asked for a grande and gave us our drink not even half way through the cup. then proceed to say we needed to pay a dollar more to fill it up. on top of that, as we were telling them that we shouldn’t have to, she said “i don’t have the time, bye”.
They made my order incorrectly and when I arrived back to the location they just gave me a weird look when I repeated my order and what was wrong with it. And remade it, I just wasted 10 mins driving back and all I got was a corrected drink.
I stopped by this Starbucks to quickly use the restroom, planning to order right after — but no one was even at the counter to take my order. I waited, looked around, and when I asked to use the restroom, they still refused, saying it’s for paying customers only. It’s frustrating because I wanted to make a purchase, but how can I if there’s literally no one available to take an order? I understand policy, but a little common sense and courtesy go a long way. Not the friendly or welcoming Starbucks experience I expected.
A loyal account holder and customer of many years spending $$$, while in the store asks barrister for some water and the first thing she says is, "have you made any purchase with us today?"- with a stern face. This store should be ashamed of itself.
The workers complained every time that I need to give them "enough" time to make coffee when I use the mobile order, to place the order ahead. The funny thing is they actually have a drive-thru and they have less time to make the coffee if I were just ordering through the drive-thru. Not exactly sure why they’re giving the attitudes, but hope that the site manager figures out after seeing this posting. I assume they do this for everyone who uses the mobile order. I have not seen anyone else complaining about this in all starbucks I've been to from San Jose all the way to San Ramon.
Even though I live within a half mile of this place I’d rather drive to a better location at McCarthy Ranch or Dixon. Today was another reminder of why I will never step foot in this sbux again. I came to meet a friend for coffee before going for dinner and while I was waiting for my friend to arrive I asked to use the restroom and the person at the register asked if i “made a purchase yet?” And I let them know not yet because I was waiting for a friend. The employee said I need to make a purchase to use the restroom. I then asked for only a cup of ice and was again met with “you need to make a purchase first”. The fact that I couldn’t even get a cup of ice I didn’t argue I simply said “okay” and walked away. I stepped outside and told my friend we are not meeting here. I will never come to this sbux again and will absolutely inform everyone I know to avoid this place. The crazy thing is, I worked for Starbucks for 17 years from 2005-2022 and never in my life rejected anyone from using the restroom or a cup of water or ice. I was there through so much change and the whole Philadelphia incident but this is off the wall. I’m just getting out of work and dressed in business casual attire so there’s no way they would think I was a transient so to be denied like this is completely disrespectful.
⭐ 1-Star Review — Starbucks on Calaveras Blvd I’ve tolerated a lot of small issues from this Starbucks location over the years—missing extras I paid for, mobile orders never quite right (no caramel when I ask for extra, no ice when I ask for extra), and I’ve always let it go. But after today, I’m done. This morning was the final straw. I placed a mobile order from home, and by the time I got there, it was marked ready. The intercom system was apparently down, which is fine—but the employee taking orders outside was standing so far from the entrance to the drive-through that I had no idea he was even working there. It looked like someone chatting with a friend. There was no signage, no cones, nothing. So I drove in like normal. When I reached the window and politely explained what happened, the employee didn’t even look to check if my mobile order was ready. He stared me dead in the face and flatly said, “It’s not ready.” No confirmation, no effort, nothing. Then he told me to leave and go back through the line. I get it—yes, I accidentally skipped the line. But I explained the misunderstanding, and there was zero attempt at understanding or resolution. The bare minimum would have been to check if my drink—which was already marked ready—was sitting there. To top it all off, if your intercom is down, your mobile orders should be handled more carefully. Don’t keep it business as usual when your systems aren’t working properly—and definitely don’t position the outdoor order-taker so poorly that people can bypass the process without realizing. I’ve worked in customer service. I understand mistakes happen. I didn’t show up angry or rude. But this was bad service, plain and simple. And after consistently letting small things slide, this was the moment I decided to just leave my drink and never go back again.
April 2023. .. this is 8th customer service complaint in 5 months on this store. This Was a great store. Now a poorly run store. Male employee ( tall, bushy hair, rim glasses, and bad breath) yells at customers and taking his stress out on people. At point of order, can hear him nor can hear you. Mind is elsewhere as repeated order twice. When asked for help..he snaps at customer and is rude. Maybe it is color of my skin..Maybe my race..Maybe management encourages this behavior..but rudeness and arrogance is color of the day. What a difference a few miles makes. In 2227 Broadway, Redwood City, CA 94063 Place packed with humans..and some 🐕 Busy..hustling..busling next a 3000 person conference. Nnnooooo yelling.. No rudeness.. No concerns about color or creed.. awesome.. maybe the Milpitas store is the corner case... picture from Redwood City
