A new Fieldwork taproom? Yes please! Love me some Fieldwork. Their taprooms are always well appointed and have a great vibe to have drinks at. The beer is also always excellent, especially if you like Hazy IPAs :) This new spot is no exception, cozy seating indoors and a nice covered patio (w/ misters) outside. And as usually some of the friendliest beer tenders in the business.
My favorite was the far left one on the flight Blueberry sour ale. It was actually pretty good. I didn’t expect it to be good since I don’t really like blueberries. The flight was $14 and the pour for each was substantial. Highly recommend. Environment: it’s really loud in there and there’s a lot of people and glass jars everywhere. Not really a place for kids.
Great beer and great service. I didn't try the pizza but it looked great.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Craft Beers and Chill Vibes Fieldwork Brewery is the perfect place to unwind in Napa, whether you’re a beer aficionado or just looking for a cool spot to relax. My wife had the Saint Thomas O.G., a Mosaic IPA that was fruity, tropical, and delightfully crisp. I went for the Hills & Valleys Pilsner, which was light, refreshing, and had a beautiful balance of subtle honey and floral notes. The brewery’s hot pretzel was a simple yet delicious snack to share, complementing our beers perfectly. The casual atmosphere and friendly service made our experience even better. If you’re in Napa and want a break from wine, this is the place to go!
I’ve been going to this place for the last 6 months and it’s hands down my best place to have a beer and chill. Plenty of variety in beers and also NA choices for those who don’t drink alcohol. Very dog friendly inside and outside with a friendly staff. Great way to enjoy the fire on a cold night!
Natalie was awesome and everything you'd want in a Manager. She informed us on details of the brewery and also shared with us personal stories of breweries in the area. We love the customer service and highly recommend Fieldworks! The outdoor seating is perfect for any occasion.
Welcoming location. Katlyn was AWESOME! Some members in our group are not big beer people and she was so patient explaining the different flavors and allowing us to taste a few before placing our orders. Lovely outdoor space as well.
We enjoyed this brewery so much that we popped in twice! Located in the Oxbow Public Market district in downtown Napa, it’s a perfect spot to unwind. Surrounded by Napa’s iconic vineyards, we found hops and some of the most refreshing West Coast IPAs. The outdoor seating is fantastic, offering a laid-back atmosphere to enjoy the sunshine or hide in the shade. Ordering is a breeze with their QR code system, letting you relax and focus on great conversations with friends. If you’re a fan of great brews and a lively downtown vibe, this spot is a must-visit!
Amazing tap room. Absolutely awesome location inside of the Oxbow Market. There's good, produce, etc, all inside the same building. The tap room itself is fairly small, but there is plenty of seating and standing space. Fieldwork brew is amazing, as always. It's so awesome to have this out here in Napa, as Berkeley was the only location around here for quite some time. Approximate 24 beers on tap. Growler fills. Crowlers. Between $6-8 a beer. So fancy!
Beer was cold & delicious! Great place to come & relax. Had the flight with a variety of beer, from light to IPA's & they were all so good. Had to take some home. We will be back soon!
I normally visit the location near where I live in San Mateo & couldn't help it but visit this one on a business trip to Napa. Absolutely killer sours as usual, staff were incredibly cool & gave great recommendations like every other location I've been to. I really dig the decor as it fit the scenery/style of the area. Napa may be universally known for it's wine, but Fieldwork is absolutely not out of place as far as quality, service, and ambience. P.S. Try their pizzas, you won't be disappointed
Clean and friendly, customers with pets. They allow you to bring your own food. The outdoor area is open and spacious. Beers are fresh and delicious!
The best place to bring your guests and also the best pizza I can get at the brewery! 🍕
Very chill brewery with excellent brews. The bar staff was very friendly and quick. There outside seating area was filled up but the smaller inside area was spaced out nicely which allowed for a little personal spacing and conversation. Order at the counter or I think you can do it on your phone when you’re there. Tried three and will be making another appearance next time I’m in Napa to try some others.
This Fieldwork taproom is located in Oxbow Public Market. We tried the Faded Lanterns and Future Flagship. We couldn’t taste that much of a difference between the two, but they were both very good! Service was good! Beer was good with a lot of options to choose from!
Great brewery! Perfect place to stop in for a pint. Wide selection and a nice staff. They'll can you a beer to go as well!
My wife and I had a great experience at FBC in Napa. My first time here, I ordered the Fieldwork Tour beer flight. I really dug the Marine Street and Pulp IPA - both excellent takes on their styles. I was pleasantly surprised by the blackberry Sour that came with the flight. It was good! The Rice & Easy rice lager was very drinkable too. Our server was courteous, knowledgeable and attentive. Good service! And we relaxed in the back lot drinking our beers till the sun went down and eating our takeout from Gott's. Will definitely hit up FBC next time we're in CA.

Excellent brewery with friendly staff, a generous beer selection, and outdoor as well as indoor seating. It’s located close to the Wine Train and the Westin Hotel. We tried many of their beers and were very impressed, especially with their IPAs and stouts.
No food we saw. Beer was solid. We got a flight and liked all 4. Preferred the amber though the sour and stout was also good. Service was quick and professional - no wait as it was relatively quiet. Atmosphere was brewery+ with some comfy couches, tables, and spacing. There were outdoor seating as well though we felt it a bit cold to partake.
Yes, everyone will tell you this is great beer, but you have to try their pizza—it's the best in the Napa valley! They recently fixed the mechanical issue with their kitchen and it's up and running again, so do yourself a favor and stop in here for amazing beer AND pizza!
We held a welcome event at Fieldwork brewery in May, renting out the outdoor patio, which was a beautiful space. The staff were incredibly accommodating and went above and beyond to make our event special - we were particularly impressed by how attentive they were. 5/5 would recommend hosting events there.
Great place to grab a bite and beer. Massive selection of on tap beers. Not a lot of inside seating, but plenty outside.
My favorite brewery of all time! Incredible craft beer at the highest level. Everything from lager and pilsner to saisons and sours, to hazy IPA's and Double IPA's
Canned beer is sold near the entrance, and you can also visit just for takeaway. The canned beer was priced at about $5–7 per can. The beer was very tasty!

My favorite place to drink in Napa, I'm a local. Great selection of beers and now they even sell wine for those with friends who don't drink beer. This would have definitely been a 5/5 review, but 1 unisex restroom between 50-75 people in a place that serves beer by the pint is kind of dumb honestly. I don't want to wait 15 mins to use the restroom. Fix that guys
Likes: Great selection - we had the 6 feature beer flight, and we're impressed with the portion size. Hoppy across the board, with the salted coconut rounding things out. Improvements: Would have been lovely to have snacks to eat with the beers, which were heavy on their own. Even some small bits, like chips or peanuts!
Fieldwork was a nice brewery stop during our recent stay in the area. While I didn't especially love my pour, I did like the variety of options on tap and the plenty of seating available.
Not a fan of beers but i enjoyed tasting the flights. Plus their pretzel tasted great, i especially love the mustard dipping sauce. We were here at 3pm so it wasn’t busy. The couch was super comfortable and cozy. Love the high ceiling too. Staff were friendly.

10/13/24 was able to hit up this joint when i moved back to the area. good brewery, cut it short and had the the new zealand ipa kind. it was good. its between a west coast ipa an da regular ipa. the place look coo and can imangine to be cooler at night.
Nice location. I have 4 of the pilsners in a flight and in general they were underdeveloped and flabby without the crispness and hop bite of a proper Pilsner. Certainly made for the mass market palate and not craft beer aficionados.
Decent beer, but service was very subpar. I understand it’s covid and we’re all understaffed but two servers for the entire place? There had to be at least 50 plus people inside and out, seems like they should close off some or regulate customers to allow for everyone’s experience to be quality. I had to go up to the To-Go beer selection to place my order, where they told me I need to order table side… but no one came to our table for over 10 minutes. Uncomfortably hot inside.

Two days ago I stopped in for a beer mid-afternoon. I read the menu, filled out a flight order sheet, sat at a table and waited for a server to come to me as the posted instructions advised. After 14 minutes of being completely ignored, I walked out. Employees WERE there, one made a couple trips outside to clear off the table RIGHT NEXT TO MINE and still no one approached me. No thanks, I'm visiting other breweries in the area instead and getting GREAT service!
Let me start by saying I genuinely enjoy Fieldwork’s beers and most of their locations. But Napa’s staff leaves a lot to be desired, especially when compared with the Corta Madera location. It’s a shame honestly since on a breezy afternoon, the outdoor area is pretty enjoyable. First time I have heard of brewery not allowing bicycles in the patio when there are hardly any people around.
So this place gave horrible service. Apparently dogs getting free treats are more important than paying customers. This isn’t the first time my wife ( who’s black) has gotten bad service in Napa. Frankly I feel the demeanor changed when I came to get seated but shortly after we were seated we got no service. We put our timer on to get help and said we would leave when 15 mins passes and sure enough no one came. Don’t come here. Attached is the amazing paying golden retrievers getting the brewery’s treats.
A long-time fan of Fieldwork, I brought family here with our friends after dinner in Napa. We arrived at 8:30pm, knowing we were only 30 minutes from closing time, but were told we could only buy cans to-go. Others were in the place enjoying their pints, but it was otherwise not busy at all...very disappointing.
Terrible service! We ordered 2 pizza and it was busy, but they said 30 minutes, which was fine with us. One hour later, no food and in trying to get an update from our server she completely ignored us, as if we were not even there. She literally looked at me and then walked away. The "manager" came to our table and said our order had already been "delivered" just not to us. His remedy was to put us back in the pizza queue, which was now a one hour wait. No offer of an expedited service. Get beer, but pass on the food. They don't know what they are doing....
