Great experience every time! During this time of year I always look forward to this restaurant opening for season, food and atmosphere are excellent.

Alexander’s never disappoints and is a must go to in Naples! We went recently to celebrate my husband and dad’s birthday, and it was an above and beyond experience. We sat outside in the garden and it was a beautiful night, with excellent ambiance. The service was top notch and Ashley did an amazing job. Everyone loved their dishes from seafood to steak, truly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu! We also had three children with us ages 2, 7, and 10 and they loved their food as well. Whether you are going for a date night, a celebration or a family dinner, Alexander’s is the place to go!

We had an incredible experience dining inside thanks in great part to our exquisite server John. Never have we ever heard specials and menu features described so gloriously and with such delight. The meals were truly culinary wonders! We will certainly return and definitely request John! We have found a new favorite restaurant in our hometown!

We have dined at this restaurant several times and it seems to just get better. We order something different every time and everything has been fabulous!! We sit at the bar so we can watch all the delicious dishes coming out of their kitchen. They also have beautiful outdoor seating as well if you are with a group. We also sit at the bar because Jim serves the best drinks with a smile. We can not recommend this place enough for the fabulous food and service. Make a reservation….they are busy!!

From the hostess on the phone accommodating my change from four people to six people to our wonderful table outside, the amazing service as soon as we walked in and a terrific waiter it was a perfect evening. Everyone loved their food. We ordered our appetizers, beat salad and seared tuna which was delicious and we were not rushed with dinner. My grouper was outstanding as my husbands Snapper. Everyone was very pleased. Not to mention they make a mean dirty martini. We will be back!!

My husband and I had dinner at Alexander’s Garden recently and had his Chef special Duck and the Crispy Duck. Both absolutely delicious! Before dinner, we started with Chefs Pate’ and Crusted Tuna. I will say the Pate’ was very comparable to what we had in Paris which was outstanding. This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem! We will be going again.

We had a delightful experience at Alexander’s. The ambience in the garden, the beyond incredible food preparation, and exceptional service by Ausra, made this the best food experience we have had in Naples since we’ve been here.

We’ve only recently discovered Alexander’s and are so glad we did. We could not have had a more cordial or professional server than John, so much so that we request his table each time we go. My husband says he’s the nicest waiter we’ve ever had in our 40 years of visiting restaurants! As for the food, every item we’ve ordered, be it a soup, salad, entree or dessert, has been excellent. Regarding beverages, so far we’ve only tried the house wines but they too have been very good. We recommend Alexander’s without reservation!

Wonderful food, amazing outdoor seating, and great staff!

This place is absolutely magical!!! The ambience is perfection. Our server Kathryn was so friendly and knowledgeable. The food choices are so diverse ii had a hard time choosing with all the additional specials. Our friends said this was THE BEST PLACE they had dined at (and we dine out regularly trying to find the treasure spot). My husband got the venison and said ithat it was delish. My girlfriend said that she grew up eating venison and it’s too gamey. She finally tried his and could not believe how great it was. I had filet mignon, which was very tasty and cooked to the right temperature. Our friend had the Cioppino and loved it. This is a must when you have friends and family in town or for a romantic dinner. Thanks Chef and Kathryn!!!!

We have a family reunion at Alexander this Wednesday. The food and service was excellent. We stay and enjoy our lunch at their outdoor setting. The garden is manicured to perfection. Recommend Lobster 🦞 bisque, Cream of mushroom soups, scallops with creamy mushrooms sauce, crispy fish fry sandwich. Lobster BLT.

Dined at the bar and had another fantastic dinner! Jim the bartender took amazing care of us and Chef Alexander came out to talk to us! Truly a hidden gem of a restaurant with great food, service and ambience!

Fantastic find. Asked me he clerk at a store for a restaurant recommendation. He said he worked there and it’s good. The woman behind us in line agreed so we decide to try. Service was excellent as well as the food. Nice atmosphere outside under the trees and lighting. We had the Thai salad and snapper. Both excellent. Highly recommend.

Our most-frequented restaurant in Naples. Every visit has been met with s superb dining experience. From the food to the service, cocktails and wine to the ambience indoors and out, Alexanders Garden Restaurant never disappoints. Be certain to check out their daily specials in addition to their regular menu items. Unmatched interactions with the owners/chef and staff make dining here unique. We are always made to feel welcome, at home and much appreciated.

Such an amazing restaurant with fantastic food and service. Make sure you reserve a table on their lovely patio. 10/10

What a wonderful place, hidden inside a courtyard we had never seen it before, but what a treat. The food was amazing and we can't wait to go back.

We dined at Alexander’s Garden on 41 tonight. The garden setting is beautiful, but be aware that it’s not handicap friendly. If you use a cane, walker of wheelchair, make the reservation inside. The food was excellent and so was the service. I had the seafood risotto with shrimp & scallops. On the menu it’s a whopping $50, but early dining before 5:30 it was $43 plus an app, I had the crabcake. The early menu choices change every day. My husband had the triple tail off the regular menu, which he enjoyed and an excellent crème brûlée, his favorite.

Great food. Extensive menu. Service was excellent until dessert. I ordered Key Lime pie and was given Crem Brule. I sent it back. I received my Key Lime pie after a long delay, literally with the check. I sent it back

Alexander's Garden is a lovely outdoor dining spot. Although I did not have a very good experience. Our server was a delightful young lady but overall the table service was poor. Water glasses needed refilling, unused wine and cocktail glasses left on the table, salad and appetizer plates still sitting when main dishes came out. Food was good but served tepid. Unacceptable. Mussels were served without a receptacle for the empty shells or a small fork. The shells got stacked on the table. Overall the quality of the food was good, not great. With so many wonderful restaurants in town I'm not sure I would go back.

This is a gem of a find in Naples. Open during high season only and closed during hot months of summer. It is difficult to get a seat and reservations are highly recommended. I have been fortunate as I travel and stay at the hotel next door and stumbled upon this place by accident. There always seems to be a single seat at the bar when I go that is not reserved so I've been very lucky. I've eaten here a handful of times and have always had a great meal. The duck is incredible, Risotto delicious and they pour a great cocktail. Bartender is very friendly as are all of the patrons that frequent it. I've met numerous locals and people traveling that all have exceptional stories. When anyone asks me where to eat I send them here.

I am editing my review. Someone from the restaurant posted a reply and apologized because there was no lobster in the risotto. I forgot to mention it when I wrote the review. I also got the price wrong. It was $47 not $42 which actually makes the whole thing worse. I appreciate the apology. It was a very nice evening to have dinner outside. The drinks were very good. Had the shrimp tempura as an appetizer. It wasn’t very good. First of all it wasn’t tempura. It was just fried. And it had some weird sauce on it. Not good. The wedge salad was good. The beef bourgignon my wife had was very good. The seafood risotto I had was good, but for $47 I expect more than just one scallop. It was supposed to be lobster, shrimp and scallop and there was no lobster at all. There were four shrimp and one scallop. Why not two and two? I found the portions to be on the smaller side. Overall it was good, but I doubt we’ll return.

I wish there was an option for 3.5 stars instead of 3. 3 stars feels really harsh. The food was overall pretty good. The presentation was probably the best thing about the dish. I think the chef has talent but may be bored and trying new things, or the sous chefs are not following the recipes well enough. It just seemed like each dish had all this promise with how it was presented and the playfulness/creativity of the mixture of different flavors and then when you took a bite there seemed to be a let down or disconecct. It just missed the mark and was more bland than it should have been. For example, there seems to be a thoughtful intention to put sweet and savory flavors together in one dish, but when you taste it, it just feels like they don't merge well. Individually, they taste good, and the cooking techniques seem to be on par with resturants of this calliber, but unfortunately, it just falls short of other resturants at this level and price point. The one thing I really wanted to try they didn't want to spend the time to make, which was the lamb tagine with apricots, I believe. I was pretty bummed about it, so I settled for a different dish. The staff was great. Our waiter said they were short staffed, but it didn't feel that way to us. We came in later, so that probably helped. Our waiter was a little coo coo, but he was very nice and attentive. Lastly, the atmosphere was actually very nice, and it made it feel like a quaint little place for a romantic dinner.

Did a pickup order, the food I received was delicious, unfortunately, the lettuce wraps were missing the main components of the rice and the duck, so I ended up with pieces of lettuce and sauce with kimchi. Since I took it home, I didn't want to drive back to have it corrected. Still sad, I was looking forward to them :(

Our group of 6 had dinner in the delightful outdoor garden. Menu choices were ample, varied and inviting. Unfortunately all of our appetizers and entrees arrived cold. Our seldom present waiter, Mark, had the telltale odor of a recent cigarette each time he delivered our cold appetizers and cold entrees. I am afraid his attention to his nicotine addiction outweighed his attention to our food. So sad when a server expecting 22 to 25% gratuity detracts from the dining experience. I want to credit the kitchen in that we all found our appetizers and entrees to be nicely prepared and delicious. I will retry this restaurant and hope for a better server.

Escargot was lukewarm. Sides were cold. Braised pork was not good.

Looked at website - said open till 9:30 PM. So we headed that direction at 8:30 PM got about 5 minutes away at 8:50 and decided to call to be safe. Women said “ we close at 9:00 - in about 4 or 5 minutes? Either a case of “I want to go home” or change your website to accurate information - business 101!!!

This restaurant had come highly recommended but unfortunately we were disappointed by our experience. It seems that the online reviews range from 1 star to 5. Our waiter was friendly but promoted the specials but never reviewed the pricing. We should have asked but given that all the menu prices were reasonable we didn't question it. When the cheque came the specials were $70. The three who had it - the veal chop -were underwhelmed by the food and certainly at that price. The quality of the food did not meet the price. We will not return.

So disappointed with our dinner & the entire experience last night at Alexander’s.. I made my reservation online a month ago. We were taking good friends who had never been, to share one of our favorite restaurants. We were all excited, especially when they walked in to the beautiful out door setting. When I checked in with the host, she tells me I don’t have a reservation- such a bad feeling when I made the reservation for our friends. The hostess said maybe I made it at J Alexander’s- I showed her my reservation on my phone, and finally she located it with my phone number. But we still don’t have a table. They had to make a table and we ended up being at a dark table furthest away from the beautiful light’s & wonderful atmosphere. My husband and his friend each ordered the Veal Alexander’s. Their signature Veal dishes came out cold and had to be sent back. My friend & I had Mushroom ravioli which were very good. We also did enjoy our salads & cocktails. Overall, it was not what we have come to expect from our favorite restaurant in Naples.

The service at the restaurant was very good. But the food was lacking the bread was over done, while the entree just seemed to be bland actually reminded me eating cold food out of A soup can.

Haven’t been seated yet. The staff at the front is not welcoming. Apparently it is very inconvenient to have paying guests. Not a welcoming experience. Heading to another restaurant.

I have been here many times & usually everything great. Tonight service & atmosphere still lovely but the early dining beef was awful. Basically chunks of fat & grizzle. Did not say anything since I thought I got a random piece of bad tenderloin but my whole table ordered it & afterwards we all discussed how bad the meat was. Alexander’s need to improve the quality of the beef or you will lose customers

Waiter was very condescending. Called the women Dearie and pored the women smaller glasses of wine than the men then asked the men how they wanted to split the bill. Very patronizing attitude towards all of us

I made a reservation on Resy for a table outside. The day before, I called and asked if we could dine inside. The young lady said, not a problem. Perfect. We got there and they were going to seat us outside and we told them that we changed to inside. They wanted us to sit in the bar room. No thank you. The owner said that was all they had. There was NO ONE in the dining room and when we pointed that out, she said those are for reservations. I politely told her we DID have reservations. So she sat us at a table and told us we didn’t have to stay if we were unhappy. Needless to say, we left and will never be back. So rude….

The area outside is really nice, I went for the happy hour time, the food is good but they only serve just like the 30% of a regular dish, I ordered a steak and is just like 4 little slice, the essence of happy hour is get the same experience but for less price, no less food for less price.

Waiter ruined it for us! It was our first time at Alexander's. The food was good (seabass) and average (squash ravioli). The worst part was the relentless upselling by the waiter (Mimo). He pushed and pushed the lobster special and was disappointed when I chose the ravioli (less than half the price). After dinner, when I asked about desserts, he said '"We have a chocolate piano" and went on and on about how we had to get it. I asked if there were other dessert options and he acted as if that was Thee only dessert Saturday night. Maybe it was a language issue or he didn't hear me but as I looked at the website today, I feel sure they had other desserts (for half the price). I should have been more assertive, so I own part of the failure. We got the piano (photo attached) expecting 'real' Chocolate--- not White chocolate (which we don't like and was never mentioned). Someone else delivered it to the table. It had 4 berries and a tiny dollop of chocolate (the cocoa we like) inside the little piano. When the waiter came, we expressed our dislike of white chocolate. He said he would be sure to tell the chef. We expected he wasn't going to charge us. I was so appalled when we got the bill that it was $24!!! I get that it was molded but it was not delicious to us at all! I should have made a fuss but it was late and we didn't want to argue with the pushy waiter. It is Sad because that's what we will remember about our experience here.

What a disappointment! We normally enjoy our visits to this restaurant, but last night was a disaster! The service was much slower than normal. They were out of crab cakes for the special menu and wanted to replace it with a salad. The waiter forgot about my wine order. When our tenderloins arrived, all four were not cooked as ordered. The server took 10 minutes to come back and check on us and we advised him that mine was overcooked and he just walked off and said he would adjust our bill. He didn't bother to wait for anyone else's response. Needless to say, one person did not eat their steak because it was rare instead of well done. In the end they took 20% off of one entree. What an insult! I will not be returning to this restaurant. Update... Judging by Alexander's response, he does not know the difference between a rare steak and a well done steak nor does he care about anything except his narcissistic self. Beware all, you are on your own if he screws up again!

We made reservations 2 weeks prior. Because of the atmosphere we asked to be seated outside where the lighting and trees are. When we got there they took us to the back instead. Everything we ordered was awful. The waiter said a fish dish was excellent so my husband ordered that. It was overcooked. My dish was salty. I told the waiter and he said sorry these things happen........
