EXCELLENT!Highly recommend! Good for large groups, date night, or families. Bar area is quite large. Indoor/outdoor seating. Homemade pasta. Went with party of 12. Everyone loved their food. I am a red sauce lover so I had to try the homemade ravioli(meat). FANTASTIC. Will be trying the meatballs next. Another one of my good Italian cooking tests. They brought out a large Tiramasu with candle for our friends birthday. Service for our large group was efficient and organized-we are a demanding bunch and they “kept up” great. Kudos to the staff. Nice vibe. I was so busy socializing I forgot my pics when the food came out!!!!
Trattoria Abruzzo in Naples offers a truly authentic dining experience. The Caesar salad was fresh and flavorful, and the hot vegetable pizza was absolutely delicious. The pizza dough was incredibly fresh and served piping hot. The service was quick and efficient—highly recommended!
BEST ITALIAN RESTAURANT IN NAPLES!!! 1. Delicious Authentic Italian Cuisine Tasty Calamari, Bread, Pappardelle with Bolognese Sauce, Linguini with Garlic Clam Sauce. 2. Great Prices 3. Excellent Wine List 4. Lively Fun Ambiance 5. Outdoor Seating Available 6. Fresh Open Dining Room with Several Surrounding Windows 7. Dora, the Manager, was AMAZING! She was delightful & worked diligently, running back & forth, to get everyone without a reservation on a busy Friday night a table. 8. The Owner was Super Friendly & Obviously Knows How to Run a Top Quality Italian Establishment. 9. Convenient Location at Galleria Shoppes at Vanderbilt. 10. I Can’t Wait to Eat Here Again!
1/2 off entire menu happy hour. Home made red sauce delicious with grilled bread & meatballs. pepperoni pizza in brick oven do goid. 2 for 1 drinks at the bar. Stephanie is great at the bar
Excellent homemade past with a variety of different dishes and flavors. The shrimp cavatelli is amazing.
Amazing authentic Italian food! I ordered the branzino and my wife the vegetarian wood fired pizza. Service was outstanding and Antonio provided great recommendations. The homemade tiramisu was to die for.
Always number one. We always have a great experience dining here. I love ordering the brodetto a la vastese. The great service is always appreciated, I highly recommend this place for anyone who’s looking for great Italian food.
Caesar salad is on top of my friends list. The fresh bread is warm and gooey and thick and moist. And you can dip it in very nice olive oil. The parpedelle pasta was homemade and drizzled with truffle oil.
The food here was absolutely amazing and the service by Renee was unbelievable. If I could give this place more than five stars I would give it 10. I could not believe how good the food was here. Thank you Renee for being the best server and great food.
Great food! Nice atmosphere, service was a little slow. Overall enjoyable ❤️
This IS authentic Italian and the pizza is amazing
I made a lunch reservation to take my wife out to eat on Valentine's Day rather than fight the dinner crowds. We ordered the mushroom pizza, lasagna, and beef / ricotta cheese cannelloni. It was the best pizza in Naples! Hands down best dough, crust, sauce, cheese, mushrooms, all incredibly good! The lasagna was served hot in a cast iron bowl with melted mozzarella cheese, homemade noddles, flavorful beef, and sweet tomato sauce. Also amazing. The cannelloni was made with homemade pasta dough as well and stuffed with incredible ricotta cheese and savory beef. The atmosphere is very nice with an open kitchen that was not at all noisy like so many usually are. The decor is classic Italian restaurant style with a modern twist, right down to the white and red checkered napkins. My only regret is not trying this place sooner! Trattoria Abruzzo is my new favorite Italian restaurant and lives up to the Abruzzo name. That's coming from a Bruzzese!
Restaurant Review: A Carb Lover’s Paradise If there’s one thing this restaurant understands, it’s how to make you forget your diet plan, your personal trainer’s advice, and maybe even your last name. We came for pasta—and, dear reader, we stayed for pasta. The Lasagna arrived first, layered like a Renaissance fresco in edible form. Each sheet of pasta was a delicate page in a novel of cheese, béchamel, and sauce. It was comforting enough to make you want to call your Italian grandmother (even if you don’t have one). Balanced, hearty, and ever so slightly indulgent—like a Sinatra song sung over a bottle of Chianti. Then came the Pappardelle di Bosco—wide ribbons of pasta tangled in a forest-floor fantasy. Earthy mushrooms, a whisper of truffle, and a sauce so rich it probably has a financial advisor. It was rustic yet refined, like a lumberjack in a tailored suit. Each bite was a reminder that carbs are not just food, they’re therapy. Finally, the Gnocchi alla Maria. These little potato pillows were so soft they should be sold with matching blankets. The sauce wrapped around them like a hug from a favorite aunt—warm, generous, and impossible to decline. You don’t just eat this dish, you let it cradle you. Verdict: If you’re searching for sleek molecular gastronomy, look elsewhere. But if you want pasta dishes that make you laugh at your keto friends while wiping marinara off your shirt, this is the place. Consider it a pilgrimage site for carb lovers , with each dish a holy relic of Italian comfort food.
The food was delicious! The pasta was done just right, and it was one of the best clam pasta I’ve ever had. The tiramisu was amazing! I was so surprised by how much I actually ate, and my husband enjoyed his, too. Our waiter was friendly. We will definitely be back!
I can’t believe this place doesn’t have a perfect 5 star rating. This is the closest thing to Italy pizza you will find! We have been all over Italy multiple times and Abruzzo is exactly like that pizza from there! The service and cannoli’s were delicious too. We will be coming back. Highly Highly Recommended!
Trattoria Abbruzzo is the perfect neighborhood italian joint. It's Saturday night and they are buzzing. Justin's recommendations were spot on .. charcuterie, branzino piccata & chicken piccata. All impeccably presented & delicious. Can't wait to return!
Was at first skeptical because I have high standards and the reviews weren’t over 4.5 stars. But after looking at the pictures of the food from other reviewers we decided to give it a shot. Food we ordered was amazing. The pizza was better than O’Munaciello in Miami. The Lasagna was 🔥 salad was super fresh and delicious. Service was great and the guys working the kitchen look like they love what they’re doing!
WOW!!!! From the moment you walk in, the ambiance is perfect. We had the most lovely waitress and forgive me for not knowing her name. The food was impeccable and delicious. This is authentic Italian food. We will definitely be returning patrons. Our waitress checked up on us so we did not need a thing. Also, the lovely waitress who boxed our food was an angel. All in all, I would give this place 10 stars if possible. Thank you for making my sisters birthday amazing.
Our server Gabriel was terrific, I ordered homemade cavatelli pasta with shrimp in a spicy pompadour sauce and the homemade bread was excellent, I also ordered the chared octopus which was sooo good, cannot wait to go back for there pizza
I come once a month in Naples and this place is my must go! The food is very tasty and balanced. I do taste the home made for sure. Everything is made a la demande so yes you will wait a few minutes, it s the price to pay to get that type of food. My server Johana who we get most of the time is amazing.
My favorite Italian restaurant in all of Naples. Food is amazing staff is always attentive and friendly. You need to try their chicken parm It’s amazing !!!
Best Pasta Ever! It is made daily and you can watch the artisan while you dine. I don’t know much about any dish other than the linguini with clam sauce. I keep ordering the same dish every time I go. Excellent Italian experience.
Food is always so delicious! The fresh pasta is amazing and I will for sure be back!
Excellent, the food was great, ur server “luanna” was very helpful and courteous.
Wonderful food. Happy hour prices have increased. Especially for wine. Been a change in bartending staff which is sad because Stephanie, who has been there for years, had left. It seems a lot of the customers who sit at the bar, have left as well because of that.
Pizza is amazing here! Always excellent service.
Love the food! The service is polite and professional. Sabrina, our Italian waitress, was very attentive. The inside is uniquely and attractively designed. Our only concern was that it was a bit too noisy for us so we ate outdoors very comfortably. (The reason for only four stars)
Ordered based on employee recommendation and the food was great. Authentic! Thanks…I’ll be back.
My daughter found this restaurant online while we are on vacation in Naples. I was a little skeptical at first because of the rating, but it was excellent! It is probably best to make reservations because there wasn’t much room when we arrived. Everything was delicious. We split a tiramisu for dessert-yum!
This has become our go to spot this year…5 times in 2 1/2 months. We normally start with a pizza and have not been disappointed. We have tried many dishes, but always seem to come back to the lasagna or ravioli della mamma. Service is always great. Once they misplaced the leftover pizza they took to box up for us, so they made us a whole new one for us to take home.
Trattoria Abruzzo is an outstanding Italian restaurant that delivers an authentic dining experience from start to finish. The moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that feels both elegant and inviting. The food is exceptional — clearly prepared with high-quality ingredients and traditional techniques. The pasta is fresh and perfectly cooked, the sauces are rich and balanced, and every dish shows real attention to detail. Their signature entrées, especially the Abruzzese specialties, stand out for their depth of flavor and authenticity. Portions are generous without sacrificing presentation. Service is another highlight. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about the menu. They offer great recommendations and make you feel well taken care of throughout the meal. Whether you’re coming for a date night, a family dinner, or a special celebration, Trattoria Abruzzo delivers a consistently memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who loves true Italian cuisine done right.
This is hands down my favorite local Italian restaurant in Naples. It has been a family go-to for many years. Come for the homemade pasta, stay for the delicious dinners to complement the pasta, It never disappoints and the menu gives me a range of options, chicken, beef and fish. I never had the same thing! My favorite comfort food dinner .
Wonderful experience. Best Italian restaurant in naples, I understand why they won “Best Italian Food in Naples 2025” now! The staff is very friendly and very knowledgeable. I also met the general manager, Antonio. He was extremely friendly and welcoming, he even helped us pick out a nice bottle of wine for our dinner.
We stopped by for a glass of wine and pizza after the farmers market in the adjacent parking lot. We enjoyed the outside bar area and the bartender was fun. Great way to wrap up a visit to the market. This may become a habit!
Good Italian food!! I had the pizza and it was good, I enjoyed the thin pizza! My wife had the shrimp pasta and she said it was pretty good, but not worth $29. I would probably think it’s like every restaurant we go to, and unfortunately the prices just keep going up. But definitely a good Italian restaurant! I would recommend!
The food and the service were top notch. However, it was extremely loud inside the dining area and my wife and I could barely have a conversation without having to shout to be heard.
Pizza was great!!! Yummy food and fun for a party like kind of dinner. Of course it’s 5th ave pricing but that’s what you get! Snowbirds and vacationers don’t mind paying. Job security 😉
I came here with the ladies! The restaurant is nice and it was busy. Service was good. My food was ok and it wasn’t really hot either. Really liked the dessert which was the tiramisu. My coworker said the pizza was really good there maybe I will order that next time if I go back.
We’ve been to Abruzzo a few times now and last night was unsatisfactory. It was noticeably warm in the restaurant- their air conditioner was clearly on the fritz as they had water dripping from the ceiling through the restaurant creating puddles and soaking carpets. The cooks were using box fans to keep cool. The waiter staff was sweating. Things happen but it’s a poor choice to prioritize business over staff and customer comfort/cleanliness. Service was fine other than when we walked in. We checked in for our reservation, the owner and server did not speak to us but instead to each other in a different language. No other words were exchanged with staff until the waiter came. We ordered the Caesar salad, the lettuce was pink and old. The pasta fagioli soup was great. The vastese pizza was soggy and very burnt. The veal chop parm was very tough and the noodles were so undercooked they were crunchy. The gnocchi alla Maria was okay- looked prettier than it tasted. And finally the tiramisu- I find this to be inconsistent. Previously it was delicious. Last night it was not. I’m sure we will try again but for the amount of things that went wrong, it was not worth the cost.
Let me start by saying we've been there multiple time and was very good. Yesterday they're lucky to be getting 2 stars. Pizza was soggy. Rice balls were still frozen inside and the eggplant was cold also. Had chicken parm and that was horribly thin and actually like cardboard and cold. Sent most of the food back and didn't reorder. Nobody from management ever came over to the situation. Poorly run and will never go back. The bartender compt a couple of drinks... save yourself some agrivation go somewhere else....the pizza had zero crisp...did also see a drop-off of people at the bar. Was always crowded but plenty of seats.... very telling...will never go back.
Trattoria Abruzzo: We've been loyal for years, enduring service that once felt like a comedic sideshow because the food was amazing. Remember flavorful eggplant lasagna and melt-in-your-mouth Veal Toscana? Sigh. Now? The spices have clearly eloped. Dishes are a bland, beige mystery. The once-charmingly bad service now just highlights the culinary blahness. We used to tolerate forgotten appetizers for the promise of incredible pasta. Now, even perfect service couldn't save the flavorless food. It's like that friend who used to be hilarious but now just offers lukewarm water. We have fond memories, but the spark is gone. Trattoria Abruzzo, we remember the flavorful past. Now, dining here is just...sadly bland. Time for us to find a new flavor adventure.
Place is loud. Our waiter dissappeared for 20 min. Food was served one hour after we sat and it was not hot. We paid $240 for four people, no appetizers or desserts. Not a good experience.
I went there Saturday night to sit at the bar and enjoy dinner. The temp outside was high 50’s and the doors at the bar were open feeding people on the outside bar stools. It was so cold I was very surprised that they chose to leave the door to outside open. I was dressed for the weather but could not sit and enjoy my meal due to the cold temp. Very disappointing that they chose a few extra meals versus keeping these doors closed so diners inside could enjoy their meal without having to wear a parka. Lost a customer.
Service wasn’t good , waited 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. Food didn’t come all together and pizza wasn’t cooked. The soup was missing the pasta and beans. It was all around not a good experience. Phoned today , but the manager didn’t call back.
Entrees came out while appetizers were still on the table. Soup was cold, spaghetti were Ramen noodles. $35 for a chicken parm that was pounded paper thin and beyond dry. The spaghetti side was 3 fork fulls. All entrees were beyond terrible. I have no idea why people would pay those prices for low grade TV dinner quality food. To call it Italian food is insulting to Italians.
As tourist I stopped in to get some food for my sick wife back at the hotel. When picking up I went back and asked if there was utensils in the bag. Young girl went and asked a guy playing on his phone who said sure. Sorry to have bothered you all but it’s really tough to eat over $120 in takeout with no utensils!!!!! Food was ok at best. Service really stunk when a customer needed it.
This place was by far the most disgusting place. The bathrooms alone were indicative of a poor place to eat. The food was frozen, the chicken was cold, and the drinks were poorly made. The AC on a hot day was beyond hot, no gloves nor hairnets used by the staff. After all we were made to feel uncomfortable by the staff. Save your time and money. This did not feel like a family owned establishment.
The owner of this place is absolutely despicable! We are regular customers and every time we go we regret it. The owner wanted to charge us $6.00 for cheese after spending $80 for pasta that were like half orders! Every time we order their portions are smaller and smaller. If you don’t ask for the bread they don’t give it to you and when they do is one slice per person! Their prices are absolutely ridiculous and their attitude is horrible! As a previous restaurant owner, we made sure that we always did right by our customers! Not to mention we kept a friendly welcoming environment! Not this place not these owners!
TAKEOUT ORDER WAS GIVEN TO SOMEONE ELSE AND WHEN ASKED THEY SAID THEY GOT FOOD BACK AND WOULD REHEAT FOR US. HAD TO WAIT EXTRA AND WHEN ASKED FOR DISCOUNT THEY REPLIED NO. GUESS GOOD HELP IS HARD TO FIND. GUESS OVER 100.00 WORTH OF FOOD IISN'T CONSIDERED GOOD ENOUGH. THIS HAPPENED TO MY WIFE AND DAUGHTER ON SATURDAY.
The appetizer of sliced tomato and onion did not come out as that it was a salad the fennel with the oranges and black olives came out with no oranges and greens. The food was below average service was not good people are not friendly we were a table of eight and none of us will go back there.
