I had an absolutely fantastic dinner with my family at Chef Andy’s table. Each course of the tasting menu was beautifully presented, creative, and delicious. I’ve never had crab like I had that evening. The wine pairing was equally exquisite. Fine ingredients and expert preparation. Chef Andy and his wife bring something special and uniquely theirs to this restaurant. I highly recommend.

Hyde N Chic is nothing short of phenomenal--my new favorite spot in Naples. I had been looking forward to trying their tasting menu for a while, and it absolutely exceeded my expectations. Chef Andy masterfully weaves flavors from his diverse life experiences, creating a culinary journey where every course is a destination worth savoring. This isn't just a meal; it's an event you'll remember long after the last bite. Just keep in mind - service can run long here. If you’re prepared for that and OK with it, you will thoroughly enjoy the experience! The ambiance is trendy, chic, and thoughtfully decorated with stylish art and decor. The staff is welcoming, knowledgeable, and exceptionally prepared. From the moment you walk in, they greet you by name and make you feel like a valued guest. Since I arrived right at opening, Chef Andy even gave me a personal tour of the kitchen, introducing me to his team. His passion for hospitality shines throughout the experience--he stops by tables to share stories, check in on dishes, and ensure every guest has a memorable night. I experienced the March 2025 tasting menu, and each dish was a revelation. The oysters, paired with a mignonette and tropical fruits, struck the perfect balance of sweet and sour. The carpaccio was light yet rich, and the bread service introduced me to a savory tomato butter I'd never had before. The butternut squash bisque was airy and luscious, complemented by a perfectly crisp crab cake. The asparagus salad, topped with a pink poached egg, added a luxurious, runny yolk to the dressing--absolutely divine. A true standout was the shrimp & gari, a tribute to Chef Andy's African roots, delivering bold flavors with a heat punch. His take on shrimp and grits was next-level. The wild mushroom strudel, wrapped in a delicate, crispy shell and topped with shaved truffle, delivered an umami explosion. The grouper, a must-have on the Gulf Coast, was bathed in a rich franciacorta cream sauce reminiscent of a silky béchamel--I wanted to savor every drop. The foie gras and French quail were decadently satisfying, while the Wagyu beef bourguignon short rib melted in my mouth, perfectly complemented by its accompaniments. To finish, the Ghanaian chocolate cigar was almost too indulgent to handle--I barely had room! This restaurant is an absolute gem, and if you have the chance to experience it, don't hesitate. Chef Andy and his incredible team deliver an unforgettable dining experience with dishes that showcase standout ingredients, impeccable technique, and flavors that linger in the best way possible.

Excellent food! We did the 5 course and were not disappointed. As the courses went on each dish was better than the next. Venison was a perfect cook and the dover sole was very yummy. A great little find! The chef and his wife have a great thing going here for the foodies out there!

Another world class culinary treat with Chef Hyde and exquisite front of the house service from Mrs. Hyde. We asked for a specially curated dinner for our son's special birthday and chef create a 12 course magical journey. We were excited by several dishes and forgot to take pictures! Each dish had a special sauce, the flavors of all the dishes were complimentary to the previous and next dish.The intensity of flavors flowed like well choreographed ballet. Chef has been trained at Alinea as well as Gordon Ramsey and it is evident from the creativity, the flavors and the artistic plating. Naples doesnt hit the Michelin tour, if they did this culinary experience is worthy of the coveted Michelin stars-we have been to many, many Michelin restaurants around the world. While we arranged for a birthday dinner, every month Chef Hyde has a chef's menu, and now lunch and takeout is available! if you like excellent cuisine be sure to visit Hyde and Chic.

Shocked it was my first time here! The food was amazing from start to finish. The tasting menu was well curated and thought out, with each dish being a wonderful combination of flavors! The wife is so sweet and welcoming and the husband (the chef) came and thanked us for dining. This will be a new favorite spot for my husband and I. I highly recommend trying it out. And each month they have a new tasting menu! Truly unique and you can tell every dish is made with passion 🤌🏼 the talent and beauty of each dish is definitely Michelin star worthy.. Naples needed a place like this and I’m so happy we decided to try it. I forgot to take pictures of 2 of the dishes - it was 5 courses.

I think you’ll be hard pressed to find better fine dining in Naples. Everything that came to our table was genuinely delicious, with the salmon tartar, chicken liver, and venison being dishes my wife and I found to be truly exceptional. The wine pairing was also great and featured very generous pours. The only minor issue with the pairing is that our server didn’t really go in depth on the wines, regions, or grapes like I’ve experienced at other tastings but with that said, I don’t think she is a sommelier so there wasn’t really an expectation to have that information provided. It would have been nice to have more info on what we were dinning but ultimately what matters was the wine and the wine all tasted great and paired well with our courses. Service was exactly what you would expect at a fine dining restaurant and did not disappoint. The chef is very talented and I look forward to coming back and making this restaurant a part of our regular rotation for Naples and encourage anyone looking for elevated dining to come here and experience this restaurant.

It's refreshing to see a restaurant that not only prioritizes flavor but also considers the impact on the environment. The result was some of the freshest, most flavorful dishes I've ever tasted. The service was also exceptional, with a team that was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made me feel welcome and comfortable, which added to the overall dining experience. Overall, I highly recommend Hyde N Chic to anyone looking for a five-star dining experience. If you're a foodie or simply appreciate fine dining, this is the place for you. Yesterday was our first time eating here and oh my gosh it was the BEST food experience we've ever had! You can tell right away that Mr. and Mrs. Hyde pour their heart and soul into their food, service and wine selections. On top of that, they had a BEAUTIFUL engagement proposal setup with my now fiancé. ❤️ They made our anniversary night so so special, even when it was their anniversary also. We can't stop talking about how amazing everything was and how excited we are to return with friends and family! Thank you all at Hyde n Chic for an unforgettable experience!!!

My husband and I had another extraordinary dining experience at Hyde N Chic. This is by far the best restaurant in Florida. Chef Hyde is an artist -- each dish is perfectly plated, tastes incredible and is intentionally coursed to ensure guests don't feel rushed. Once again, Chef Hyde, Mrs. Hyde and team knocked it out of the ballpark with an exquisite, delicious well-thought-out tasting menu for Valentine’s Day. This is our go to restaurant for special dining Chef Hyde is creative and inspired if you consider yourself a foodie or if you enjoy food, this is the place to go in Naples. This evening’s menu included Caviar with smoked sturgeon, crème fraîche, love shack, oysters with papaya mignonette sauce, sun-choke bisque with truffles,salad with cashews, mixed greens, red carrots, and an elderberry vinaigrette, exquisite surf and turf, with lobster and extremely tender, tenderloin and coconut meringue with chocolate mousse encased in chocolate and strawberry tart for dessert all with a great wine pairing

Hyde & chic is exactly how it sounds. A hideaway for millenials looking for modern fine dining, without the old school feel and unnecessary hikes in prices. The food was simply delectable. It is evident that chef Andy has poured his heart and soul into every dish. He packed all of those Michelin stars he had from his years of experience at some of the top restaurants into his suitcase and brought them to his new Naples, Florida restaurant. Ambience/staff: Picture dark walls with gold foil accents, unblemished white table cloths, chavari chairs, and purposely mismatched dishware. The restaurant, only seating about 25 people, feels cozy and intimate. The staff is an international blend of talented men and women. Think going to your best friend's house for dinner, only that chef Andy Hyde is your best friend and his staff are his family. The second you walk in you feel at home, enjoying casual conversation over dinner and well paired wine. Hearing him speak was an inspirational story of the entrepreneurship only possible in America that I sometimes take for granted. I left dinner feeling motivated that despite being a Haitian-American black women I can open a successful small business. Thank you andy for the food and encouragement. Food: Fine dining at it's best. The restaurant was only open one week prior to our arrival awaiting their liquor license. As a result, we were allowed to bring our own bottle. I opted for a crisp end of harvest riesling that would pair well with almost anything. I know once they do acquire their liquor license this will change. My husband and I selected the 6 course tasting menu. By the time we were done, with all the extras that head chef Andy surprised us with, we enjoyed a 9 course tasting menu. Here are some photos. Try not to drool too much. Overall this is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. For Naples, Florida to have something like this locally is truly amazing. I strongly recommend this restaurant. 5 out 5 stars for us.

Grrr8 Experience! Andy Hyde brings flavors of delight to your pallette. He's widely experienced. Let Andy take over and you'll be pleased. Lovely place, small and intimate. Wonderful abstract art. I should have taken more food pictures. All courses were very tasty and I must say, the sea bass was KILLER! 4 courses for two with tip= $225. Don't miss the wine with the check mark. PS: I notice the only negative reviews were serving time related, not good quality. Perhaps the complainers should hit a drive thru for fast bad food.

Our delectable culinary evening commenced with Giovanni greeting us by name as we walked into the restaurant, even though we had never visited before, which immediately made us feel welcome and part of the family. We were seated and introduced to two additional staff that were going to take care of us that night; Beatrice and Patrick. A glass of sparkling Italian wine and that evening's amuse-bouche, an eggplant caviar, arrived as compliments of the Chef. It was a great way to awaken our palates for the meal ahead. We decided on a standard three-course meal, instead of the tasting menu (which we are looking forward to exploring in the future). Every plate of food that came out was beautifully presented, and most important of all, every bite was savored as the combination of flavors, artistry and passion that Chef Andy created in that kitchen overflowed onto the plates. From the appetizers to dessert, our taste buds were screaming with joy. I can honestly say that I have never had a better filet and I have had many; the steak itself (I was told it was the No. 7 cut on the tenderloin) was flawless and the cook on it was perfection. I had to take a picture of my last bite as I wanted to preserve the memory of how incredible it was. Everything is made to order, even the ceviche that I had for my appetizer. If you have the pleasure of dining here, sit back, relax and enjoy the journey. You won't be disappointed. We look forward to returning and experiencing more of Chef Andy's amazing creations.

Unbelievable the attention to detail. My Wife and myself go all over in search of great restaurants; and this is by far the best we both have ever had in our Life. Chef Andy Hyde, went above and beyond to make our dinner extraordinary. He came to our table and made a point to take personal interest in us even when it wasn’t necessary.Out of all the tables there, we were probably the least important. One of the other tables was from a magazine nominating his restaurant, while another customer flew in a private plane to come eat at Hyde N Chic. He found out it was my wife’s birthday and Put the Wine and desert on the house. We couldn’t thank the Chef enough for everything. He truly took pride in his work. We will be back…. Thank you soo Much for a once in a lifetime experience.

By far the most incredible dining experience naples, better yet, SWFL has to offer. Went for the 5 course tasting menu for my 35th birthday. Chef Hyde almost had us taping out when he just kept it going for 10 outstanding courses. Each one unique and made to order. Not for those in a rush. This isn't "going out to eat", it's a dining experience, adventure, and journey into cullinary excellence.

If you have been trying to find the best hidden restaurant in Naples, look no further. From the very moment we walked in, I knew instantly it was going to be a great experience. They have an amazing staff, and catered to every single question we had for them with knowledge. We had alot lol. The 4 courses were a great idea for us, and "chefs choice" was the best choice for me. so it was a very pleasant surprise when they answered everything politely, patiently and in a highly proficient manner. The wine was also spectacular which matches the atmosphere. and on top of it all ...this hidden treasure has the BEST tasting food I've had this year. Extremely fresh!!! and packed with flavors!!! we are definitely going again soon to try more. Thank you so much to all of you for the night we will always remember.

A lovely restaurant with a wonderful, gregarious (and talented!) chef and staff. It has a great relaxed urban vibe and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted at the door and ushered in as family the moment we walked up. The food is an artful blend of Ghanian/Ghanian-inspired cuisine influenced by European and American fare, and designed for foodies and people who are new to African flavors alike. Each ingredient is selected to shine on its own and pair perfectly with the others in each dish. We started with homemade caviar, harvested at Marshallberg Farm in North Carolina and a delicious introduction to our meal. We then went to a locally-caught prawn dish with turmeric and habanero, so fresh that the prawns nearly leapt off the plate. Next up was a split dish, pasta with heart of palm and a mushroom strudel, both served with freshly shaved black truffle. AMAZING. We next tried Maine lobster with habanero sauce, the perfect amount of heat to accompany an old favorite. We went on to a beautiful piece of sea bass, on top of Jacksonville rice and freshly picked spinach from a local farm. The sauce on the bass was splendid, a melody of turmeric, hoisin, and tamarind that provided deep flavor and the slightest amount of heat. We went back to land next, with Chef preparing a braised American Wagyu short rib with parsnips and roasted knob onions, there was nothing left on my plate. To note: There is an optional wine pairing available with dinner, I don't personally partake but my wife said that it was SOLID. It was a combination of French red and white, and a perfect complement to the variety of flavors explored. But what about dessert, you ask? We had a Ghanian chocolate quenelle with chocolate ganache, raspberries, merengue with coconut, and an unsweetened chocolate 'soil'. It was the ideal dish to finish a fantastic meal. Thank you Chef Andy, Jayden and Chelsea, we cannot wait to share your restaurant with our friends and family, and to come back soon! FYI, December tasting menu debuts tomorrow, come check it out!

Overall a wonderful experience, the food was excellent and the service was very welcoming and personalized. Chef Hyde came out the check in on multiple occasions and was very personable and passionate about his food and business, it shows as all the food was excellent! The dishes were quite large so keep that in mind if you are doing the tasting menu. The sea bass and octopus were the standout dishes and would order again when we return.

Andy and his wife and the rest of the staff were fantastic! I only took a photo of the menu because once the experience started, I did not look at my phone. We took the meal with wine pairing. Obviously Andy can accomodate gluten free. There are only 8 tables so not super loud but a nice bluesy music in the background to not hear everyone's conversation. You do feel a bit exclusive in this restaurant. Once all tables are full they lock the doors. I can't say enough about this wonderful discovery. I'd strongly recommend!

Chef Andy and his entire staff knocked it out of the park as always. I am not normally a person to break out my phone at dinner, but this dessert was spectacular and deserved a photo. This is a place for exploration, experimentation, and certainly a dining experience.

Incredible tasting experience. I can safely say everything i ate here was a "wow, this is unbelievably tasty/ i can lick the plate" good. And if you are ever scared that food portions are small, don't. They deceivingly look that way but by the time you get to your third dish, i promise you will be full! ( not a reason not to go for more!) A must try. Worth every penny.

We did this with Andy and his staff for my 90 year old Dad, siblings and partners. Wow! The evening was absolutely fantastic and incredibly fun with Andy. Last night our party of 7 showed up for the sizzle dining menu but due to my mistake in booking, our reservation was for the next night! Andy calmly took us in, quickly set up a table for us and presented us with what we all thought was one of the best meals in Naples. I know an intimate restaurant of this size shops for its reservations so to add 7 more was unexpected. We have dined at Hyde and Chic several times and always tell our friends that Andy is probably the closest to a Michelin star chef that Naples has ever had. We have already rebooked for October to experience his tasting menu which is what he is known for.

Wow! What an incredible experience. The food was some of the best tasting and most perfectly cooked out of any restaurant I have ever been to. I have been fortunate enough to have eaten at several high end restaurants such as this, some with one or more Michelin star(s), but Hyde n Chic was without a doubt the best. Chef Hyde is very friendly and comes out multiple times during your meal to speak with you, enhancing the experience tremendously. The staff was also very warm and friendly. I definitely recommend allowing chef Hyde to choose your courses rather than ordering off the menu. Wine was exquisite. 11/10 and will be going back again!

Dining at Hyde N Chic was nothing short of extraordinary! I have had the privilege of dining at some of the world’s most celebrated fine-dining establishments, including The French Laundry and Per Se, and I can say without hesitation that this restaurant is a true hidden treasure of Naples. Chef Andy is simply outstanding! His precision, creativity, and respect for ingredients are evident in every course. From the moment the first dish arrived, it was clear that this was a thoughtfully curated and impeccably executed dining experience. We began with an oyster topped with pineapple-mango yuzu which was bright, balanced, and elegant followed by a luxurious lobster bisque that was rich yet refined. The duck confit with foie gras was indulgent and beautifully composed, while the Dover sole with leeks showcased flawless technique. The short rib with demi-glace was deeply flavorful, tender, and perfectly finished. Every plate felt intentional and expertly crafted. Dessert was the perfect ending: an elderflower sorbet crowned with meringue which was light, aromatic, and refreshing. Each course was elevated further by perfectly paired wines, enhancing rather than overpowering the dishes. Hyde N Chic delivers a world-class dining experience in an intimate, unpretentious setting. Chef Andy has created something truly special, and this restaurant deserves to be recognized among the finest! Amazing dining experience. Small, quaint spot with only a few tables. The chef/owner a d his wife greeted me when I arrived and said I was in for a treat. They did not disappoint. Everything ordered by my friends was amazing and seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend this to anyone willing to try something new. Just wish they had more offerings for dessert. My only regret was leaving my phone in the car and I couldn’t capture how beautiful the presentation was. We will definitely be back and will bring friends and family to enjoy it with us! Thank you Mr. and Mrs. Hyde for a memorable anniversary dinner.

Stumbled into this gem and wow. Everything I had was delicious and the owner and his wife were very friendly and warm. I wish I had done the tasting menu because only trying a few things from the menu just wasn’t enough.

Excellent place highly recommend. Be sure to make reservations. The owners are fantastic and extremely accommodating. A true gem and great dining experience. Excellent menu and wine list. Of course the company was fantastic as well.

Dining at Hyde N Chic was especially meaningful for me because it marked my first fine dining and tasting menu experience shared with my daughter and grand-daughter (both foodies)...a memory I will truly treasure! I'll admit that I can be a picky eater, which can sometimes make tasting menus intimidating. Chef Andy, however, went above and beyond to ensure that every course suited my preferences while still allowing me to fully experience his vision. That level of attentiveness and care is rare and deeply appreciated. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared, beautifully balanced, and a pleasure to experience. Beyond the food, Shekeba ensured the atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and genuinely friendly, making the entire evening feel relaxed yet refined. It never felt pretentious, just thoughtful hospitality paired with exceptional cuisine. By the end of the evening, I was completely won over. I can't wait to return and experience a different tasting menu. I am officially hooked! Hyde N Chic is a special place, and Chef Andy has created something truly memorable!

Hyde N Chic is truly a hidden gem, and we enjoy dining there..... but our experience last night was one for the memory books. Our first time dining with Hyde was incredible, and his wife ran the front of house like a Queen! The server last night was incredibly inexperienced and unprofessional. We looked on as he became verbally aggressive with another table, and then proceeded to blame all mishaps on the chef. Keep in mind that he forgot to fire our 5th course. Towards the end of our 4.5 hour soap opera of an experience, we looked on as the waiter sampled 8 bottles of wine behind the bar. We will be back because Hyde's food is outstanding, but we hope that our next visit is more like our first.

Disappointing Experience Despite a Warm Host and Beautiful Presentation I’ve been wanting to visit this restaurant since it opened back in 2019, but life got busy and I never had the chance until now. After years of anticipation and seeing the stunning photos online, I was genuinely excited to finally experience it. Sadly, it didn’t live up to my expectations. To start with the positives: the owner/chef was incredibly friendly and brought great energy to the room. It’s clear that there’s passion behind the concept, and the plating of each dish was truly beautiful the presentation was one of the highlights of the night. That said, several elements of the experience missed the mark, especially considering the $700 price tag. The restaurant itself doesn’t reflect a fine dining atmosphere in fact, the noticeable smell of mold throughout the space was hard to ignore and set the wrong tone from the beginning. Another major issue was the lack of a menu. For a multi-course, high-end meal, diners should at least be given an idea of what they’re being served. Not knowing what’s on your plate it takes away from the experience. The wine pairings themselves weren’t very compelling, and I ended up not finishing most of them. There was also a lot of downtime between courses, which made the experience feel disjointed. On top of that, small details like serving caviar on a metal spoon (which affects its flavor) suggest a need for more attention to the nuances of fine dining. The music and general ambiance also felt out of place not at all aligned with what one would expect from a refined culinary experience. I really wanted to love this place — I’d been looking forward to it for years — and I truly appreciated the chef’s warmth and the artistic plating. But overall, I left disappointed. There’s potential here, but it needs serious refinement in both execution and environment to justify its premium price and positioning.

We dined at Hyde N Chic for the January 2024 tasting menu. We have met Chef Andy who is very nice and sampled the food at events in Naples, and we were really looking forward to enjoying the tasting menu in the restaurant. Our meal in the restaurant was a disappintment for us unfortunately. The food was good, but most of what we were served did not match the menu (photo included with my review). In course three, the seabass was very good but was missing the baby turnips. The prawn was an impressive size and good (a firmer texture than I was expecting), but missing the rice. In course four, we were served what appeared to be roughly cut chunks of roasted chicken breast with a brown mushroom gravy sauce — not close to what we were expecting from the description on the menu. There was no white truffle mousse nor mustard frill to be seen on the plate. For course five, we were served champagne ice cream. The flavor again was good, but this time a complete deviation from the menu. After course three, we asked about the missing baby radishes and rice. We were told there was no rice in house that day. The missing baby radishes were not addressed. After feeling like our concerns were dismissed, we did not ask about the issues we perceived with course four. In any other fine dining situation (or even casual dining), we would have been alerted to a missing ingredient or a change to the menu prior to ordering. After course four and before course five, we were presented with our check which was unexpected and unusual. The check included an automatic service charge of 20% on the food and the wine. We paid in full, deciding to count it as a learning experience and move on. After we paid, we were offered more apologies and espresso which we didn’t feel was an adequate response to the issues that we alerted staff to in course four and the completely different offering presented to us for course five. Regarding presentation of the dishes, they were not as artistic as we’ve seen in photos from previous tasting menus. Part of the fun of a tasting menu is being wowed by the presentation, and while the plates themselves were decorative, there was no feeling that special techniques were used to present the food served. From arrival to departure, we were there for about 2.5 hours which isn’t unusual for a tasting menu. However, we did feel the pace was slow, and there was a decent amount of downtime between the courses. Other general observations (see aforementioned downtime): - Entry into the restaurant is a little awkward. You go from the parking lot directly into the dining room. It might be nice to have a small square at the front partially curtained off to provide a transition area. - The dining area is very open, and the tables are very long making it difficult to have a conversation with a dining partner. - An additional staff member to act as a host and provide support such as to refill water glasses and check on guests would be helpful. Once a dish was put in front of us, we weren’t checked on again until it was time to take the plate away and again not until the next one came out. Overall, we would have liked to have seen the dishes presented to us match to the tasting menu, been alerted to ingredient changes/removal, and had our concerns addressed rather than dismissed. It’s unlikely that we would return or recommend to friends visiting.

My wife and I booked a valentines day dinner over 1.5 months out. On the night of the reservation we showed up 5 min early... only to be told the restaurant was overbooked and the only solution was to give us a compensated dinner for 2 nights later. Absolutely unprofessional of Andy Hyde. Even his own employee said that was not right when she had to inform us and he would not come out of the kitchen to talk to us personally....Complete lack of respect for reservations and communication prior to the date... do not recommend.
