This place has such a beautiful vibe! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by friendly smiling faces, and this extends to everyone we encountered there. Our waitress, Simone, was amazing! Friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is absolutely gorgeous. We all thoroughly enjoyed our many courses. Wonderful cocktails that were 1/2 price on HH. The pictures speak for themselves!
Unique take on traditional dishes. I've been there 3 times and ordered so many different items from their menu. Every dish is great! Make sure to get the Edamame! Each dish comes out as it is ready and is meant to be shared (family style). I recommend ordering no more than a few dishes at a time so this way each dish can be enjoyed by everyone while it is hot. The drinks are great too! We've tried every one of their cocktails (except for the dessert drink, "The Blackbird"). Loved them all! Looking forward to trying The Blackbird next time. And finally, the service is as great as the food! Since they have different people delivering food to your table, the servers are constantly walking by and able to take care of any requests you have. This is our new go to place for a nice night out.
This place is amazing — I can’t recommend it enough. The Peking Duck is a must-try, and you’ll find yourself craving it long after your visit. In my opinion, one portion is generous enough to share between four people. Everything else I tried was absolutely delicious. The cocktails and food are both excellent, and the service is friendly and attentive. Whether Asian cuisine is your favorite or not, you simply have to try Black Bird.🐦⬛
We finally made it to Blackbird and it absolutely delivered. This is my favorite kind of restaurant and Blackbird is right up there with some of my favorites. The location is spectacular, right on the marina of the Naples Bay Resort. And the inside was such a beautiful aesthetic. We were seated right under the Japanese cherry blossom tree and I knew we were for an amazing meal. Highly recommend coming during happy hour like we did. Half price cocktails and deals on their apps. We couldn’t decide what we wanted but we ultimately landed on the spicy pork wontons, short rib and bone marrow dumplings and the Thai beef jerky. They were all delicious. My favorite being the dumplings. The beautifully rendered short rib with the fattiness of the bone marrow is right up my alley. The accompanying sauce made for a perfect bite. My wife cannot resist a skirt steak on any menu and I’m so glad she suggested getting the skirt steak lo mein. Such a rich and decadent dish. The skirt steak was literally perfect and the kimchi hoisin sauce mixed into the lo mein was otherworldly. Perhaps one of the best dishes I’ve had all year. I think we could’ve had another plate of it. We washed it all down with a Confucius Says for her and a Kill Bill for me. The Kill Bill was a sort of smoky mezcal sour that I could’ve sipped on all night. I cannot wait to come back here. I literally said out loud to my wife, I think I want to celebrate my next birthday here. Truly a special experience I want to share with all my friends.
AMAZING!!! Finally Naples has an amazing Asian inspired restaurant. The place is family style which is a nice change of pace, which the portions reflect. The food was classic themed with modern twists. Highly recommend the wonton soup, and the peking duck both dishes were to die for. Our waitress was absolutely amazing also, very friendly and attentive. I recommend making reservations because the place was slamming busy on a Thursday. 100% check it on new time you're in Naples!
A truly amazing experience from start to finish!! We dined here as guests of the Naples Marina Resort and it did not disappoint! Our hostess was friendly, welcoming, and explained the menu and dining to us in detail. The drinks were incredible, we ordered a Blackbird Cocktail and Sake. For food we had the duck fried rice and orange chicken, and it came well presented, hot and it tasted delicious!! The dessert went the extra mile- we ordered ‘Year of the Snake’ and it was safely lit on fire to add to the effect. Please do not miss the place if you are staying in Naples and are looking for exquisite Asian cuisine dining.
This place was so good we tried to walk in the night after our initial reservation, as soon as they opened to snag a table and too many others had the same idea, and we couldn’t get in. Service was stellar. Food came out fast without compromising on quality. Kitchen staff have got it together. Drinks were great. King Crab garlic noodles are out of this world. The noodles coated in sauce. Delicate and rich at the same time. Worth every penny. We tried to return to enjoy them again before leaving town. The pickles were very good too. Crispy and just the right amount of heat and pickle. Duck fried rice was flavorful and came with plenty to share. Dumplings were good. The sauce was phenomenal. The filling was a tad bit dry but when soaking in the broth, excellent. 10/10 would return.
Everything was beyond amazing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere felt elegant, modern, and full of intention. The staff was so kind and attentive, and every dish that came out looked and tasted incredible — beautifully plated, flavorful, and creative. We loved the small details that made the experience so special — from the warm oshibori towel at the end to the Blackbird logo hidden inside the fortune cookie. Those thoughtful touches truly set this place apart and show how much pride goes into every part of the dining experience. We left already talking about what we’ll try next time. Amazing restaurant. Heard all about it so I decided to try it myself. I Went early and didnt have a reservation. I was fortunate to be seated. Food is served family style and comes out when ready. The food and the service was on point. Everything was outstanding and each dish had a unique taste. My favorite plates included: Dan Dan noodles, fried rice, calamari.
Trust me, they don't need my 5 Star Review..this place has the traffic, this place has the goods ! The goods? I'll explain : for one, The menu is dynamite and nothing we tried was below " Delicious ". And we tried alot. The service was absolutely dynamite and our server Angie was the one to deliver that dose of TNT . When you combine delicious food with out-of-this-earth-service you get this place : One Hell of a restaurant! Angie was attentive but in the best way possible. She knew the job and she executed it with such precise detail that I almost shed a tear ( for the sheer beauty of her timing alone ). We'll be back. And btw, don't come here if you're cheap. Tip the server, the hostess and than your valet!
I went here for my birthday last month. We were gonna do a gondola boat ride first. But it was very windy so it was canceled. Our reservation wasn’t until further in the evening but they accommodate us early, with the exception of leaving the table by a certain time. I didn’t mind as it was ample time to eat without rushing. The restaurant is beautiful and fantasy like with the Japanese cherry blossom tree in the middle. Our server was wonderful and our appetiser came to our table fast, the drinks were good and it was happy hour. I had bbq ribs but didn’t get to take any photos as the entrees didn’t come out together and we were hungry lol. It was tender and tasty, my husband had fried rice which was good also. They ended our evening with a desert which was sooo good and the flare to make my bday special. I had a wonderful birthday thanks to this restaurant, can’t wait to return.
Went to Blackbird with a group of 10 last night and it was amazing. Tried many of the menu items as things are served family style and did not have one single thing I didn’t like. My favorites were: the NY strip & Chinese broccoli, Peking duck, octopus, short rib appetizer, and the crab rangoon. Tried a sip of the blackbird drink and it was delicious. The crème brûlée was great too! One of my new favorite places and we will definitely be back. ☺️
A very busy and fine restaurant. Reservations are recommended. We had a nice drink at the bar, with a good selection of top shelf liquor. Our waiter at the table was very nice, eloquent with recommendations and very attentive. The food looks and tastes delicious. There's something for everybody. The bread pudding dessert is the most popular dish!
Yes it lives up to the hype! We had an amazing time at Blackbird. We tried to go last week but there was a 90 minute wait, so I would definitely recommend making a reservation. We finally got to go last night and it was worth the wait. The food and drinks were not only delicious but served with beautiful and creative presentations. Jamie was our server and she was incredibly attentive and joyful and happy to give suggestions. My partner runs restaurants professionally and he was extremely impressed with the entire experience. Thank you to the whole Blackbird team for giving us a memorable date night and a new favorite restaurant!
I recently celebrated my birthday at Blackbird Modern Asian Restaurant, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The desserts were absolutely delicious, the food was delightful, and the entire atmosphere was just beautiful. Even though there's a considerable wait time if you don't have a reservation, we actually ended up waiting less than originally projected. They mentioned it could be about an hour to an hour and a half, and we didn't even have to wait that full hour. The server was very attentive, the service was spectacular, and it truly felt like a unique culinary experience in a gorgeous setting. We sat outside so I do not know how loud it's inside my review. It spaced on the outside sitting which it was delightful.
My husband and I are from Wisconsin and traveled to Naples for our wedding anniversary, and we decided to try Blackbird. The sleek atmosphere and vibes were hitting every point. They were even playing some of my favorite feel-good music. Our server, Savanna, was amazing! She recommended we try at least one duck dish, so of course we went for the Peking duck. We made little pancake tacos with the duck and topped them with their BBQ sauce… it was phenomenal. So flavorful and completely different from your average meal. We also tried the miso soup and the broth was so clear you could tell it was freshly made. The Cantonese egg roll was out of this world, and the fried rice was honestly the best I’ve ever had. Some fried rice tastes like the sea, but this one… my gosh, it was bursting with flavor. The drinks were strong (just how I like them) and absolutely delicious. We highly, highly recommend Blackbird, hands down one of the best dining experiences we’ve had!
Finally made it to Blackbird for all day Happy Hour on Monday! Place was PACKED! We sat outside. Drinks were incredible (the Peanut Butter & Ginger Whiskey Old Fashioned was superb). Started with the Wonton Soup (full of flavor), followed by Charred Edamame and Short Rib & Bone Marrow Wontons. Main course was Chicken Fried Rice. Dessert was the Birdcage cheesecake with what is now my favorite sorbet: DragonFruit. Julie our server was magnificent along with everyone else who attended to us.
A must for anyone who is a lover of Asian food. Something to note: it is Valet parking. Let them know you have a reservation and it is complementary. Be prepared to wait - I would get there before your reservation. Upon walking into the restaurant there is a view of the kitchen and fresh Peking duck to your right. The hostesses were very kind and attentive. Once we were seated, our waitress, Maddy, came quickly and the food started flowing at a fast but decent pace once ordered. We ordered the Mongolian brisket boa bun, crab ragoons, brussel sprouts, the beef and broccoli, edamame and finally our highlight of the night - the dessert. We got the year of the snake. Absolutely amazing. They come to the table and light a small flame on fire that melts the chocolate snake, so cool! You could tell each item is cooked from scratch. Our favorite dinner item was the beef and broccoli. The sauce was out of this world along with the steak being cooked to perfection. A close second was the brussel sprouts served in a pineapple. Amazing presentation. It was extremely busy in there and all of the wait staff was attentive. We will definitely be back.
Dea, our waitress, was amazing. She made scrumptious suggestions and was very attentive. We ordered the short rib/bone marrow dumplings, crab rangoons, and peking duck paired with a glass of sancerre. All of the food had such amazing flavors and exceeded our expectations! We will be back!
I had such a great experience at Blackbird! I originally came just to check out the happy hour drinks, but one piece of advice—arrive early. Happy hour is clearly a highlight here, and getting there ahead of the crowd gives you a much better chance of finding a seat. From start to finish, everything exceeded my expectations. I hadn’t planned on eating, but the manager, Sasha, recommended a few appetizers and they were absolutely delicious. (Pro tip: don’t miss the bao buns!) If you’re looking for something fresh, fun, and exciting, Blackbird is definitely worth a visit. Huge thanks to Sasha for her professionalism and hospitality—she really made our experience unforgettable.
We went to Black Bird for Sizzle dining. The prefix had great choices. I got the spicy wonton, Bangkok street noodles with brisket and the lime in the coconut. The food was inspirational (delicious and beautifully plated). The service and interior design well exceeded expectations. We sat under the cherry tree in full blossom. Make a reservation well in advance. This place is popular.
We had a fantastic evening celebrating our 1-year anniversary. Selena was our server and she was absolutely amazing—professional, attentive, and genuinely kind. She represents exactly what every restaurant should hope for in their staff. Sasha was also incredibly nice and made sure we had the perfect table for our special night. I didn’t catch his name, but the operations manager was very attentive as well—he made sure we received our last round of drinks just in time for dessert. The food was excellent. My wife is Asian and we both love Asian cuisine—we were very impressed! The octopus was incredible, and the street noodles were perfectly done. Incredible atmosphere. We had a reservation for outside but arrived early to see if we could get a table inside and we got lucky. Very cool vibes inside. Everything on the menu is meant to share and as soon as we ordered, the food was at our table in 5-8 minutes despite the restaurant being full. Great service and very exciting menu. We are excited to come back to try more!
Excellent experience, unique foods and flavours. Some special presentation especially the cheese cake. The jerky dish was our favourite. The octopus was very disappointing if anything was. One small piece for $26.00 was kind of a rip.
Rare to find a restaurant that actually meets and even exceeds the hype. A true gem. Salmon and Tuna Crispy Rice and the Boa Buns were stars of the show but everything was delicious. Service was impeccable and the manager is a true pro. Highly recommend.

Overall our food was great, our waitress was very attentive and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. The only disappointing thing of the evening is that they don’t recognize special occasions like other restaurants do. We were celebrating our 15th anniversary and not even a simple Happy Anniversary from anyone. We will definitely return for the food but will go elsewhere when celebrating an occasion.
Top notch decor and ambiance. Love starting my meal with a visit at the bar for cocktails and appetizers followed by dinner inside in the main dining room. Love their bao buns and the crab fried rice. Amazing bartenders. Ask for the secret cucumber drink. They’ve won me over.
Love this place. Not an influencer or social media person so pictures were missed but the food here is always fantastic! The standard for service is really class A and always attentive. For dim sums we had: Mongolian beef bao buns, short ribs, spicy pickles, and crab rangoons (all 5/5) Sides we had beef brisket fried rice and chicken pad Thai which were so addictive 😋. Shared a tomahawk that came with truffle oil and flaky salt that complimented the meat all too well and took it over the top! It is a splurge but so definitely worth it 👌
I recently visited Blackbird, one of Naples’ newest restaurants, and I have to say — this place is a total standout. Even before the food hits the table, the interior design steals the show. I’m a sucker for great architecture and thoughtful spaces, and Blackbird absolutely nails it. Sleek, modern, warm — it’s the kind of place where you want to settle in and stay awhile. But the real magic? It’s in the food. Blackbird offers a general Asian menu with a strong emphasis on Chinese cuisine, and every dish we ordered hit the mark. The burnt and fried rice and orange chicken were both packed with flavor — bold, rich, and satisfying. Honestly, the food was so good, I completely forgot to take photos (and that never happens!). That said, I did manage to snap a pic of the desserts — and they deserve their own spotlight. The Key lime dessert and coconut sundae were not only delicious, they were plated with such care that they looked like something out of a magazine. Presentation: 10/10. If you’re into vibrant flavors, beautiful spaces, and dishes that go a little beyond the usual, I’d highly recommend checking out Blackbird. It’s a memorable dining experience from start to finish.
Dining at Blackbird was an exquisite experience with much credit to our server Perla. The hospitality and atmosphere of Blackbird was truly unforgettable, convincing me to return in the near future! Perla was very detailed with her explanation of the menu and was sure to offer us dessert which turned out to be delicious. All of our dim sum tasted fresh and flavorful and left me more than satisfied. I would recommend coming with a reservation due to the popularity of this place! 100% recommend trying and I will be returning!

Despite having a reservation, we faced a 20 minute wait due to how seemingly popular and busy it is. While initially annoying, the experience that followed made the delay forgivable. The service was exceptional—attentive, prompt, and friendly—more than making up for the queue. The drinks were creative and balanced, but the food was the true star: outstandingly prepared and flavorful.
Awesome restaurant! Food and cocktails were amazing and the restaurant was very pretty. Definitely an awesome special occasion spot. Only cons were that the tables are very close together and it was busy so very loud, but that’s to be expected. Overall a fantastic experience, will be back!
My friends and I came to the restaurant to celebrate another friend’s birthday. We walked in and put her name on the waitlist, which was about 45 minutes. They’re not taking reservations yet only for parties of eight plus. We went to the bar area to grab a drink while waiting for the table, our waitress in the bar area/lounge was very nice and attentive. The experience was met all of our expectations. The food was absolutely delicious — fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Every dish we ordered was a hit! The service was top-tier: warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel celebrated. A special thank you Atom and Sasha. Our server even brought out a special birthday dessert, which was such a thoughtful touch. The atmosphere was fun yet relaxed, perfect for a special occasion. From the ambiance to the quality of the meal, everything was 5 stars. Can’t wait to come back!

The Blackbird martini is a delicious take on traditional expresso martini & has a chocolatedrizzled fortune cookie too! All food & cocktails are amazing! We visited Blackbird Modern Asian Bistro with a group of us out for a dinner event. This place was packed for a Wednesday night and amazing location the staff was great and they got us seated immediately. Even though we had a large party we were taken care of rather quickly and everything is shareable here. The menu was amazing. We had a group of 15 and it came out to about $100 a plate without beverages. The presentation was phenomenal as well and all the food was amazing. The restaurant was right on the marina and dock so it gave it a really cool look. The bathrooms were super clean and very accessible. Overall Amazing and good to go back.
We had sa wonderful dining experience at Blackbird. The best part of the evening was our server, who was helpful, pleasant, and professional. The restaurant is attractive and the diverse menu offered interesting dishes from Asia. We enjoyed every dish which was delicious and beautifully presented. This is a great venue for a celebratory evening.
Phenomenal experience! Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. Though it was busy service was spectacular. Happy Hour had 1/2 off cocktails, and the Pho King Good was to die for. The vibe was incredible, beautiful and low light. The GM came around checking in on people. Great for large groups and was perfect for our date night! The duck & the Short Rib Dumplings cannot be missed. If you go, lean in - get something out of your comfort zone - it may surprise you!! All the meat was top tier, cooked to perfection. Go with a big group and try as much as you can!! One of the best restaurants in Naples. Our waitress, Celeste, was amazing! From the service, to the vibes/view and food the entire experience was 10/10!! Highly recommend this restaurant . We will be back again and again!!
Our waitress, Juliana, was kind, attentive, and friendly. The food was excellent; we especially enjoyed the bone marrow dumplings, calamari, bao buns, and duck fried rice. The only downside was that it was a little too loud, and we were surprised to find that valet is required since there’s no public parking. Overall, a good experience!
This place is awesome. Great vibe inside. Music was on point. Our server Perla was great and very attentive. The manager Mario stopped by the table to see how everything was which is always nice. Food came out quick and was absolutely delicious. And shout out to the pastry chef, the cheesecake was incredible, have never had one with such unique presentation. Will definitely be back
We came Monday night (50% off all drinks all night and discounts on food too - I mention it because it added to the pleasant experience having great food without the feeling of being the object of a bank (restaurant) robbery). Food is excellent. We especially liked the starters. Main courses are good for sharing (large sizes). Cocktails are interesting and add to the idea that this restaurant is about making new discoveries. The service was just ok. The entrees came out with about 20 min intervals (we thus could not eat together - hence the idea of sharing what is in front of you, and I think this is the theme or mindset you want to bring - adds to the fun anyways). We had to ask constantly to get a water refill as our waiter was very busy and often “disappeared” (we would have also ordered more of the fine cocktails if we had the chance) . Maybe they were under-staffed. Overall: great evening. Food outstanding . Noise level: high. Free Valet parking.
Generally overall a pleasant experience at Blackbird. Had a very good dinner on Sunday. Can’t believe the crowds had to wait over 35 minutes even with a reservation. I would say the smaller plates are much tastier than the larger dinner options. The first 3 appetizers were excellent. The steak lo mein was more steak than lo mein. The cod was excellent but I was not impressed with the crab fried rice. The lime desert was very creative!
The restaurant is very nicely decorated. Several options for Happy Hour. Prices for drinks were half off, but food prices were fairly high. The food options are shareable. The food came out quickly & hot. The service was friendly & efficient. The restaurant is new, so it was very busy..I'm thinking locals want to give it a try before season starts & it's impossible to get a table. It's Naples, so don't be surprised to spend close to $80 per person on Happy Hour.
Disappointed in our visit to Blackbird compared to the reviews and accolades. Excluding the charred edamame and drinks our visit was mediocre. Vibe was very modern and looked nice, but the seating layout was a disaster. Servers can't walk the aisles without bumping into your chair and it's a real challenge dodging servers getting to the bathroom without encroaching on multiple diners on the way. They also need some additional sound dampening as it was very loud with a large party in the middle of the room and it was a challenge to talk. The edamame was amazing and was the best dish we had, other than that the food wasn't great. Crab Rangoon were real crab, but blended to a very strange texture and taste for Rangoon, they came out lukewarm, weren't crispy at all and were a tiny portion. The Brisket Bao Buns meat was lacking flavor, very wet and more like a sloppy joe with fresh herbs, neither my wife or I finished ours. Pickles were good and devoured. Beef jerky was not jerky, but slices of steak that were seasoned and grilled/charred but still chewy, good but not like Asian jerky at all more like burnt ends, wouldn't order again. Living in Fort Myers we have MAKS Asian Kitchen here, which is in a Publix strip mall and no where near as "fancy." MAKS dishes blew anything we had at Blackbird out of the water on flavor and texture. Hard to not compare the two food experiences and feel disappointed. Drinks were good, no real complaints there. Their play on an Old Fashioned uses peanut butter whiskey, was good but too sweet. My wife liked her cocktails, but compared to drinks at Jungle Bird, Bar Tulia, Vine Room and even somewhere laid-back like 10 Twenty Five it wasn't anything we needed to come back for. Service format was okay, food comes as soon as it's ready, so our server made sure to tell us to put in smaller, staggered orders. This was a challenge as he had multiple tables and all of them were constantly ordering leading to slower service. Server himself was semi-interested, didn't really explain any of the dishes or the restaurant, and didn't really engage with the table beyond the intro. He was obviously rushing so I don't blame him for the interactions fully, but if you're charging higher-end prices, you need a higher-end experience. The two person tables are small, so multiple items coming out all together can easily overwhelm the table. There was no effort to stagger, stage or combine plating, so only order what you can fit on the table. We ended up having to consolidate freshly delivered plates ourselves just to fit three apps on the table. Portion to price was very Naples, you won't be full after spending $100 (just like Nosh next door, which is even more overpriced). A good thing was we went during happy hour (4-6 pm, 50% off drinks, discounts on some apps) which saved us some money on the meal, that was the saving grace for us, as full price food and drinks wouldn't have been worth it. Also, it's Valet ONLY when we went 5PM on a Friday, self parking lot was completely blocked off. Expect to valet (free for Blackbird) and bring cash to tip if you visit. I appreciate the valet being free, but I don't like being forced into it as we'd always previously self parked, guessing Blackbird overwhelmed the self-parking lot and was bothering residents. We probably won't be back for a while and when we make the trip down to Naples again, we would stick to USS Nemo or Tulia. Too many other amazing restaurants in Naples to risk another poor experience here until they figure things out.
We were really excited for our Valentine’s Day dinner here, as this has always been one of our go-to spots. We’ve dined here several times before without a single issue, which made this experience even more disappointing. When we arrived, we were told our table was running 15–20 minutes behind, so we waited at the bar. The bartender was great — attentive, friendly, and honestly the highlight of the night. However, it was a bit off-putting to see an employee sitting at the bar eating Domino’s. Thankfully she wasn’t on shift, but it didn’t exactly match the upscale atmosphere the restaurant typically aims for. Once we were seated, things went downhill. Our waitress was visibly miserable and came across as rude and uninterested from the start. It completely shifted the tone of what was supposed to be a special night out. Before coming in, we specifically called ahead to confirm that we would be able to order from the regular menu and were told yes. When we tried to order the duck, we were informed that we would first have to purchase the $95 prix fixe meal per person, and then pay an additional $97 on top of that for the duck. Meanwhile, the wagyu filet was only a $25 upcharge. We understand this is an upscale restaurant and expect higher pricing, but this felt excessive and honestly unreasonable — especially after being told over the phone that ordering from the normal menu wouldn’t be an issue, so we left. Overall, it was a frustrating experience at a place we’ve always enjoyed. We hope this was just an off night, but it definitely left us disappointed on Valentine’s Day.
