Lavisha is a new employee I haven't seen her here before when I came but she was very friendly. I normally don't do reviews unless I had a really bad experience. But wanted to give her a good review she really was all around genuinely friendly and provided quick service. I didn't have to spend a long time waiting.
I ordered my food on the Popeyes app. I have 6.00 in rewards so I ordered a buy one get one spicy chicken sandwich and received a large mashed potatoes for free. Everything was fresh and ready in 10 minutes. I pulled up to the drive through and let them know I ordered online. It was ready for pick up.
This was an experience like no other it only had four tables inside I believe the restroom was outside too, I’m like wait a minute when was this place built I had to do with someone else for My lunch I was hungry Yall , anyways the food was perfect piping HOTi enjoyed every bite.
Haven't had Popeyes in years but noticed online they had a 3pc bone in value box for $5 so I stopped by. I couldn't figure out how to order through the app but thanks to the patience and compassion of General Manager Erica, she came around the counter and went through the process with me and took the time to explain things. They did have a short line but plenty of staff that took care of those customers rather quickly. This kind of customer service is rare in the fast food industry and for us seniors, I guarantee we appreciate it and gives us another reason to patronize the restaurant.
Ordered spicy chicken and it was bland…which has become the norm for all Popeyes lately. If Church’s didn’t give me the “runs” I’d eat there more. Specifically asked not to be given a breast piece as I don’t like them, and what do I get? A breast. And the food was like warm.
First of all my chicken is never fresh or hot! I asked for 3 wings, side of red beans no rice- they gave me two! They don’t have dirty rice which is kool! I also paid for a pepper and no pepper! I aspect fresh HOT CHICKEN not sitting to dry out and become really crunchy! I come home call up there on phone and no answer! The cashier at drive through was nice and gave great customer service! The establishment is really becoming one of the worst establishments ever! How you’ll not answer the phone not once, not twice but the 3rd time no answer @9:30 pm on a Saturday. I hate white rice and the container wasn’t even hot!
I ordered two combo meals plus dessert thru ubereats from this store. The driver was told no drinks came with the uber despite that fact that I ordered and paid for combos that came with drinks. They simply “forgot” to send the apple pie I ordered. Oh…and the special edition Hot One’s sauce I paid for…NOT SENT. See the trend here. Paying for it doesn’t mean you are going to get it. To make matters worse when I tried to call the store, the phone was busy and I couldn’t reach anyone to discuss. You would think as competitive as the chicken catergory is Popeyes would be better with simple service. Apparently not. Simple things shouldn’t be difficult
Had a poor experience with customer service and was just trying to make an order. Inside store and drive thru was empty. Date 03/01/28 @9:02 pm . I’m in drive thru, waiting take order, I respond give me a sec. Take me a minute to figure out what I want, not even that long. The person takin my order ( in picture and rude attitude) was so busy with her conversation regarding her mom getting her tubes tied and it being kept a secret from her dad. I’m literally hearing all this through the speaker, she forgot to make the mic mute. There’s 3 workers was 4 but one was leaving (3 females,1 male). Not busy whatsoever ever (also in picture). I’m in drive thru saying hello several times, no responses. The lady in the Picture the youngest of the bunch had the audacity to catch an attitude and yell in the microphone she can hear after about a mintute went passed. Just completely unprofessional all the way around so since that was an issue with her taking order via drive thru. I decided to go inside. I addressed the situation in the drive-through, instant Attitude and started making up an excuse, saying that she was talking about thighs and wings to her coworkers when completely I can hear every little bit of word that she was saying through the microphone clear as day. Don’t insult my intelligence, you talking about wings and thigh to your coworker at 9 am and like if I can’t here every word through the speaker in drive through. So when the attitude and her nonprofessional customer Service were not in existence. I just told her I don’t even want to order anymore and that you have to do better when it comes to customer service and take peoples orders instead of being so hung up and tied into their personal conversations through the mic of which customers can hear about tubes being Tied regarding And secrecy between her parents. That Location does not give really good service, usually not welcoming, food come out cold at times. But never have I had someone be infant with their service like this young girl did. and I’ve had bad service from there before, but never like this. I live in the neighbor. Then there was the manager who had the gray shirt and didn’t provide any additional support or anything regarding towards service to take the order or to diffuse it. All she did was tell the coworker to be quiet. I just left the shop if I was any regular customer going there I would not continue to do so if that’s the way that they train their staff. So that y’all are aware as well, that’s the type of experience you may get depending on who works for the day. Store shouldn’t also be a 3.7, you’d think the staff would want to aim for better.
ordered food and waited over 45 minutes for my order to be made only to be told at 11:30 “we finna close in 30 minutes” implying they cant make the food even though i ordered it over an hour before close. When i received my “food” i received a torn apart bag with visible spit in it, and the completely wrong order. the unprofessionalism in this establishment is utterly insane, and i advise anyone to go to any other popeyes location in the city.
This location needs a serious inspection and all around supervision from higher ups. I went today to encounter problems that are just too much to let pass by. A worker’s toddler was running around and screaming in the store and the worker kept having to come around the counter to get him. I only saw this because though I went through the drive thru my order was not coming out after 20 minutes and I was told to pull up front and ended up getting out to go inside. This isn’t the first time this happened either of having to drive up front and then waiting forever. I should have known better but I had them a final chance. I arrived at 6:45pm snd didn’t leave until 7:13pm with my food. Of course I get home and the food is sub par, not spicy snd the mashed potatoes were bland. I had asked for Coke Zero on the app which they don’t even offer at the store and then I was told they don’t have diet anything and had to go with unsweet tea.
Didn't have a problem until tonight. I've been enough times to know day shift does better but this took the cake. I pulled up and someone was infront of me. They pulled off and there wasn't any greeting. Okay I can wait. Then it continued to stay silent. I eventually asked if I can order and nothing... I pulled to the window and didn't see anyone. I stand up out my car to see a lady leaning against the front counter and another girl playing in the grease. I moved the window and asked if they were open. Maybe I missed the new hours, nothing wrong with that. The girl playing in the grease, brown skin with a braided bun, said yes I didn't have a headset to take your order but we're about to close. I ask what time they close since it's 9:52pm. If you're closing at 10 obviously I'll leave everything been put up. She say 11...... you closing in an hour and 8 mins and about to close. Okay🤨. She ask me twice "you want to place an order." Why am I here??? Yes I want an order. As I'm ordering with her I see another lady darker with a shoulder length bob in a bun looking like a "akeala and the bee" with a headset walk by with a smirk on her face. So you're the one ignoring customers over an hour before close.. got it! I then stand up to make sure nothings tampered with my food. She squated down for a bit I hope nothing fell on the ground and was served to me because I came RIGHT before closing at 9:52 (Apple Maps states they close at 12am mind you) I understand wanting to close early but that lady ignoring me then smirking in the background set me off.
I moved from New Orleans to Houston 3 years ago and this location has never gotten my order right. It is Lundi Gras and I just wanted the sweet taste of home and I have the wrong order. Food is always good but check your order ALWAYS BEFORE YOU LEAVE or you might end up biscuitless while trying to celebrate Mardi Gras
This has to be the worst Popeyes in the city. Every time I come here the customer service is terrible and my food takes a ridiculous amount of time. I’ve been waiting here for 30 minutes for my meal!! “Fast food”
I visited this location twice to use the drive-thru—Monday at 9:20 a.m. and Tuesday at 9:45 a.m.—and it was closed both times, despite the posted opening time being 9:00 a.m. Calls to the store were also unanswered. This was a very unpleasant experience and reflects poor management of operating hours.
Chicken was old and dry. I barely ate any of the four pieces. Biscuits were hard and dry like a hockey puck. Went to the drive through so I discovered this when I got home. I do NOT recommend this location.
Popeyes across from kroger and Ross bad service girl just practically threw my order to me in a bag and I got home the order was wrong I ordered classis chicken they gave me all spicy and they wanted me to drive back with bitten chicken and receipt to get order again. I live 20 min away. They actually want half eaten chicken back for order they got wrong. Taste your chicken before you leave because they want you to bring it back to replace. Dec 23, 1025
I waited 10 min just to take my drive through order. I get to the window and paid $19 for (2) 5 piece chicken boxes. After I paid I’m told the wait is 10-15 min for the chicken to be cooked. I told the girl I had already waited 10 min just to put my order in and she said it was rush time. Mind you this is at 3pm on a Sunday. After lunch hour and before dinner. So reluctantly I decide to wait. Well while I wait in the front I saw about 6-8 more people inside waiting for orders. I see an employee inside walking around the back in a moo moo and bonnet (i even took a picture as proof). I finally go in after waiting 15 min and my order was just coming out. Right behind me was the moomoo employee with her food leaving. Guess she was fixing herself her own meal. I get home to the crappiest chicken I had ever seen. (I also have a picture of this). I paid $19.23 for it 10 pieces of chicken and wasted 30-40 minutes for it. I didn’t spend a fortune. But damn. It’s just chicken!
I attempted to prevent a missing-item issue by informing staff that an item was not in the bag. Instead of correcting it or verifying the order, staff accused me of opening the bag improperly and made inappropriate, dismissive comments, including suggesting I was trying to eat the food. When I clarified I was only doing my job, I was told “that sounds like a personal problem.” This was unprofessional, disrespectful, and completely unnecessary. Drivers are trying to prevent customer complaints, not create them. This location needs retraining on professionalism and order-accuracy procedures.
Ordered delivery. Ordered an 8 piece all dark meat , and they gave me an 8 piece all white meat. I ordered a Cajun rice and they gave me a red beans and rice. I ordered a caramel apple cheesecake, and they gave me two apple pies, one of which is rotten. This is not the first time they got an order wrong for me, but this is definitely the worst time. The manager needs to perform some quality control. One of us threw up soon after eating a few bites of chicken. Horrible. Never again.
This Popeyes location is an absolute nightmare and seriously unsafe. I came here only to pick up a $9 drive-through mobile order, and it turned into a $300 disaster. While pulling through the drive-through, my tire hit a fire-hydrant pole that was poorly placed and extremely hard to see, especially at night. On top of that, the pole had sharp screws/bolts sticking out, which punctured my tire, caused it to blow out, and scratched my car. What should have been a quick food pickup completely ruined my night. There was no warning, no reflective paint, no protection, and no effort to prevent damage to customers’ vehicles. This is a major safety hazard and could easily cause accidents or injuries. A simple chicken order turned into hours of stress, repair costs, and frustration. This was one of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had, and I will never return to this location again. This place needs to be held accountable and fixed before someone else’s night is ruined — or worse.
4 out 5 times ordered here the food was incomplete, if you like paying for 6 tenders and only getting 4, or maybe ordering 36 wings and only receiving 24 is what you like, then this is the place for you. This store is doomed. Sorry.
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The absolute worst place interms of customer service. This was my first time trying this location 11/18 around 8:30 and the girl that was taking my order was incredibly rude and disrespectful. If you didn't want to work today you should've called in. No one forced you to apply to this job and from my experience tonight; whoever that girl was does not need to work anywhere that involves customer service ever. I wanted to talk to a manager but I honestly don't expect much from them either since your employees are a direct reflection of you.
I order online. Order was incomplete. 4 customers waiting. When ask for the manager. The cashier help me instead. Service took about 10 min to help me out. I had to drive 15 min back. Order took too long. 40 min to correct my order.
This has to be most unorganized restaurant I Houston. No matter how many times I order from them it’s always wrong. No one hardly speaks English and the Black manager that works there is usually outside smoking, when she speaks to you, you never know if she’s looking at you due to eyes. I will never order anything from this restaurant again. I had to drive all the way back to exchange my order. Poor customer service.
Probably the worst location that I’ve ever been to. Slowest fast-food in the world. I ordered online ahead of time thinking that my food would be ready when I got there. Little did I know that it would take me 45 minutes just to get through the drive-through line to pick up my food! There were only 3 cars ahead of me when I got there. On what planet is it acceptable to wait almost an hour to get “fast-food” that was ordered and paid for ahead of time?! My food was cold (obviously), and had missing items. The only positive I can say is that the spicy blackened chicken wrap was still edible even though it was cold. Probably would’ve been better if it were fresh. Y’all need to get it together. Figure out a better system for your drive-through because that was a disaster. Please do better.
I go here often, but maybe it was an off day? I paid $16, and my chicken tenders felt hard and dry, like they were out all day. I mean the biscuit is shown; tastes like brick. 😂 And the shrimp, doesn’t taste like it normally would. Again- this location has never had issues. Just an off day probably. Time was around 2:50-3:05pm.
