My partner and I have been coming for for 4+ years and each and every time, consistency is there, full of flavor, service is genuine, never disappoints. Our go tos is the chicken egg drop soup (super flavorful, perfect if you’re feeling under the weather, has a creamy twist to your traditional egg drop), the crawfish shiitake, fried squid, their wagyu hot rock all delicious!!!! Sashimi platters are also all good! When we order sushi, we always order from the specialty menu (higher in price, but you are getting quality fish!). The owners know us by now. We have an hour commute just to eat here and we don’t mind doing it each and every time we have the urge for this food. Again, never has disappointed.

I'd actually forgotten how good this spot was because it's been a while. We live in Houston and aren't in town very often so that's why it's been a bit since our last visit. However, the meal we had this past Saturday was sooo good! The appetizers were spot on and the rolls were full of flavor, fresh and filling! The presentations were nice and well put together. Two rolls and that'd be more than enough for most. Yes, they're big! My wife actually ordered 3 which was PLENTY! As good as they were I ended up having to eat one the next day on our drive back to H-town... and yes, it was just as good the next day. I was worried the rice would harden in the fridge over night but all for not. So, if you're ever in New Braunfels and feel like eating Sushi this is definitely the spot. My only dislike was that they close at 8:30. I think that's a bit early but seeing as how it's a smaller town I get it.

Best Omakase experience of my life! Dishes are perfectly paired throughout the dinner. The sushi chefs were creative and attentive to our needs. Made the experience one of the best I have ever had! Family friendly atmosphere and the entire staff, from owners to chefs to waitstaff are phenomenal. Definitely recommend!!!

Very nice quiet place to come to. Food was as expected. Beautiful, tasty, and visually appealing. Servers were quiet and helpful. Didn't bother anyone. One guy was very kind to the older couple behind us who asked if the channel could be changed on the TV. He did his best to appease them. As for us the prices for lunch time are great most plates coming to around $10. Filling portions. They dont over load the rice it's a nice little ball. Good for allowing you to enjoy the main focus of your order. Anyways highly recommended you won't be disappointed.

This place always hit the spot whenever we crave ramen. Decent prices for lunch menu. Would go back here for their ramen over and over😋

Nice place. The food and service were very good, the place is pretty plain on the inside. The Dark Rainbow roll is excellent. Good value on the pricing. Party of 3 with appetizer about $25 each after tip.

Ate something way out of my comfort zone but was very delicious! It did not disappoint! Tofu, ramen, fried Philly cheese steak sushi roll friend salmon sushi roll, garlic edamame. Everything was delicious and would stop by again

I would have given it a 5 stars, but we had to wait for a while before we got our order. We ordered adémame which we got when we almost finished our meal. My husbands food was very good but he asked for chili 🌶️ sauce on the side and he had to wait a long time before our waiter came back to remind him of the chili sauce. A person clearing off dishes asked to refill my husbands sweet tea and refilled it with plain tea. Overall the meals we chose were excellent. The service was what I wasn’t fond of after seeing another waiter moving around his tables like a Jackrabbit which he was quick. Our server Jorge did his best and regardless of his service we always make sure they are taken care of. Until next time 🫡☺️

I tried a cpl of the appetizers and they were interestingly good. The crispy hot eggplant wasn't very stove hot, but was super spicy hot. I wouldn't order it again, but it was worth the experience- would have been better if served hot and not quite as spicy. The fried tofu was very different- in a sweet and spicy sauce served bubbling hot on a sizzling cast iron plate. I'd definitely eat this dish again. Miso was ordinarily good and the sushi rolls were average- fresh ingredients, roll made to order, but there was something not quite right with the rice- it was hard like it may have been refrigerated too long or not cooked all the way through. Polite and friendly wait staff.

I try to be forgiving with new service staff. There are a lot of opportunities here. As far as "management," there is no finesse when she was speaking to them, and when we asked her a question directly, she is completely sour. Beware. I wrote our next to my roll, "Soy Paper," & it came out incorrectly. My first experience, she made us pay for that roll, this time, I did not make that mistake, so I had to make them take it off my ticket because it was written down. Seems she makes the staff pay for it, but what do I know? Rolls were tasty and filling. Saké made the experience tolerable. The cleanliness is top-notch, though. They were on top of it.

Compared to the A-Tan in Seguin, Seguin is better. Why? 1. Veteran discount 2. Sea Urchin is fresher (not fishy like NB) 3. Cuts are thicker (not thin like NB) 4. They have scallops (not out like NB) 5. Better quality 6. Salad is not buried in dressing 7. Presentation of nigiri much better 8. Friendlier service I recommend the Seguin location. From someone who lived in Japan for 2 1/2 years.

I hate to blast these guys because I do like Asian food but I got to speak on it. The first missing star is for value. This place was over priced. The second missing star was for presentation. I don’t know if this was fusion food or what. The food was just unattractive to me with small portions. The third missing star was for the service. The waiter would cut us off in mid sentence by agreeing with us and then walk away even though we had more to tell him. I don’t know if it was the automatic 20% gratuity (5 people) or something else. I did like the funky 80’s music and the sweet tea ($3.50) was good.

Will not be returning. The owner was very rude. I asked for fried rice with no eggs or onions, and she came over to explain that the vegetables are already mixed, which I understood and accepted. However, she rolled her eyes and had a very unpleasant attitude during the interaction. The young lady who served us was great and very professional, but overall the experience was disappointing, and we will not be coming back.

Our waitress was great. Husband got the Seafood Tempura and the crab meat still had plastic and was fried. Manager did not seem to care so much. We were expecting a sincere apology from the manager, but she acted as if it was no big deal. We got $3 off a $100 bill. This was our first time trying this restaurant and sadly we will not be returning.
