We are from out of town visiting New Braunfels. We came here for breakfast based on all of the good reviews I had read. The positive reviews are accurate as this place is really good. The servings are very big and the food is high quality. The pancakes were fantastic as well the biscuits.

The people were so nice and attentive. The food was so good. It gives home cooked meal vibes. The waffle is soft and sweet even without syrup. The chicken is so yummy. The crust is like a panko style in my opinion. So it stays on while you enjoy it and its light and crisp. Definitely more meat than breading. And its made from scratch!!!!!!

Every single time we go the food is amazing! I actually got the migas this time and was blown away! Who knew you could get great migas outside of a Mexican restaurant? I've tried so many things at Buttermilk and this, besides the Eggs Benedict, is by FAR my favorite. Plus you won't get a better tasting coffee ANYWHERE else in NB.

The hostess and server were very friendly. I wish I could remember their names. My friends and I haven’t been there in a few years and we were looking forward to eating here again. Unfortunately, they no longer serve the little breakfast potatoes we liked so much. Other than that, the brunch was great. Large portions with a light amount of seasoning. That’s an easy fix though. The food was served in a large portion and hot. The server was very attentive and kept our beverages filled. The sun was shining brightly through the blinds so we closed it a little. Other diners nearby were grateful as well.

This is hands-down, the best brunch spot in all of New Braunfels, and arguably in all of the San Antonio area! The food is amazing - one of my personal favorites is the Strawberry Romanoff! The ingredients are fresh. The plates are aesthetically pleasing. The taste is incredible. And the portion sizing is perfect. The staff are always so friendly and attentive. It definitely gives you a at home kind of feeling. They do get very busy, especially on the weekends and do not take online reservations so I suggest getting there early to get a spot in line. But it’s definitely worth the wait!

It's rare to find a place that is this consistently excellent. The staff is attentive and friendly, and everything we've tried on the menu has been delicious. If you're looking for a reliably great meal with wonderful service, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

I came in for breakfast and was blown away by how fresh and flavorful everything was. The portions were generous, the presentation was beautiful, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The pancakes were perfectly fluffy, the eggs were cooked just right, and even the coffee was spot on. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. Cozy atmosphere, great service, and incredible food — this place is definitely my new go-to for breakfast. Highly recommend!

It was my first time there and I could only stay for a little while. Adrian took excellent care of me. He recommended the Texas Quiche, to which I thoroughly enjoyed. And he wrapped me up to go quickly when I needed to leave. When I left my coffee behind (leaving in such a hurry), he quickly hooked me up with another one. Excellent experience.

Absolutely loved this place! There were a bunch of people waiting when we showed up, but they said the wait was about 20-30 minutes and sure enough at about 20 minutes later we were seated. Not bad at all, well worth the wait. Staff was really nice and food was good! I tried the grits instead of potatoes, but next time ill probably get the potatoes. Beware, they're closed on Sunday so be sure to get here on Saturday.

It's a very homey, country, sugary sweet grandma atmosphere and the decorations are very country focused. I got the chicken and waffles with a side of turkey sausage. Everything tasted homemade, especially the syrup, and delicious. The staff where lovely and very fast working, it's in and out. Would definitely go again!

Wait was less than expected for a party of 5 and our server was really attentive. Food was great and everyone left full. The fried banana bread was a great treat that we all shared.

Food and service was excellent. We got there around 10:30 and were seated right away. Pineapple mimosa was excellent. I had the quiche breakfast with a ham and asparagus quiche and a glorious morning muffin. Best muffin ever, carrot cake with raisins. Delicious. Highly recommend this place and will be back when I'm in town.

I need you to understand that this food changed my life. I forgot you could even enjoy food this much. Chicken and waffles is my favourite brunch food, and these were the best I’d ever had. Perfectly crunchy chicken, soft buttermilk waffle, great syrup, and the muffins were the best I’d ever had too. Came out warm and fresh and so perfectly moist. I am so glad my beautiful friend Magnolia showed me this place, it’s an hour drive for me but it’s so damn worth it. Beautiful atmosphere and great service too.

My new favorite brunch spot! Decent amount of parking available. Just know, there will be a wait but it'll be worth it. Staff always kind and warm. I took my family members who are even pickier than me and even they enjoyed their meals! I highly recommend the sausage and gravy biscuits. I recently tried the migas which I wasn't the biggest fan of but there are other stand out menu items to choose from.

Great place to go, but plan ahead, parking is tight and there is a wait, although it moved pretty quick. The food was delicious! Highly recommend! Been trying to go here for about a year and finally made it and it was definitely worth it. 🙂

This is a great breakfast restaurant. Definitely one of our favorite in the area. We have missed having a great local breakfast place to go to and this will be our go to. The food was really good! The service was outstanding. And I really loved the restaurant atmosphere itself. The complementary coffee cake was such a nice touch and delicious.

1st time ever here, heard good things so I had high expectations. Service was great, our waitress was excellent, refills and attentive, taking empty plates away. (can't remember her name, brunette lady). A good sized slice of complimentary coffee cake for us to sample was really good. (really nice touch) Everyone ordered different items both breakfast and lunch. No complaints, only compliments about the food. I wish I had tried more items than just the biscuits and sausage gravy now. Everything was made to order, exactly as described on the menu and exactly what we ordered. Happy campers all the way around. Two thumbs up for both food and service. BONUS = there is a FAMILY bathroom with a baby changing station available for those who have the little ones with them.!!! Really nice and smiling faces all over the place, even at the end of the lunch rush on a Saturday !!! Definitely will come again to sample more diverse offerings.!!!

This was my firs time at the restaurant. My friend took me here because I told him I really wanted crispy hashbrowns for breakfast. Is all I wanted. He was exited and highly recommend this restaurant. We go, sat down and thats when we were informed they didn't have hashbrowns, just potato wedges. I know... is all potato but I just wanted it the format of hashbrowns. Breakfast restaurant who doesnt have hashbrowns... super weird. Without ordering anything we got up and left and went somewhere else. I give the restaurant a 2 star because is an incomplete review. If I do go back and actually eat there I can give a full review. For now this place is known as the breakfast place that doesn't have hashbrowns. Hard pass for me. Staff is nice and place looks nice.
