As a Firefighter I enjoy going to Firehouse subs. The atmosphere is great. The food has always been delicious. My only slight complaint is occasionally there seems to be a lack of adult supervision. Some horseplay goes on at night with the staff.

My husband and I come here because of Dana. We look forward to seeing her when we pick up our order. She is always making sure everything is right and simply a delight to interact with. Customer service doesn't get better than her.

Have to say, I stopped here on a whim since I've never been to this location. My sandwich was one of the best ones I've had from a Firehouse. It was hot and fresh!!! The people were super friendly and you can bet that I will definitely be back, even though I live in San Antonio!!! Keep up the great work!!!!

Excallent, I love all the sandwiches and there. Always clean, including the restrooms. Oh when I enter the shop the whole staff says hello. It kind of gives you a relaxed, glad your back home feeling inside. It's like going home for lunch. Except mom never charged me for lunch.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. The subs are so good and fast enough that I can come here on my lunch break. Yesterday, Monday 12/5/16, a young man was working the register at 1:15pm and was so humble, nice & sweet that I wanted to do a review to praise him! He seemed like he genuinely enjoyed working here. I did not get his name - but he was tall, dark, medium build, and wore glasses. I prefer this place over any sandwich place.

Come here all the time and they’ve always been great. Ordered through the app one busy night and it took about 30 min because they weren’t aware I was in the building. Totally my fault, but the manager really took care of us and provided us with coupons. Great customer service even when I was the dummy. Will definitely stay our go-to sandwich place. Besides them always being great!

I use to hate eating at Firehouse Subs when I was younger.. Just something about the one I always went to.. Just didn't like the food. Stopped by here today and got a sandwich that looked good, since my mom was driving and this is where she picked. Rounded up the cents part and it was $20 for the 2 medium sandwiches.. But if my goodness mine was really good! I ate half on the way home! Lol Will definitely eat, at this location, again!

Upon entering Firehouse, I am always greeted by the people making subs behind the counter. The staff is attentive and will take extra time to make sure you order exactly what you like. I have never had a bad sandwich here, and the kindness of the staff always make the experience that much better.

Staff listens well to your need on the order. The food was phenomenal. I won't ever go back to subway. Fresh and hot. I don't like bread, period. I ordered this sandwich on wheat bread, with side salad. As an experience on my birthday. To be honest, I ate the meat mostly after a few bites. (Personal preference) as my per taste. Tender, moist and succulent, as far as hot deli meat is concerned, as per quicker deli. This will be my go to. Expedient, and reliable comfort food as far a deli sandwiches are concerned, Fresh staff, polite and attentive interaction as well. In my experience and opinion better than Jason's deli, hands down. Updating my review to include a description. We have been here 3 times now and each time the food is delicious, service is exceptional, and the restaurant is clean. I have purchased the chicken bacon ranch sub twice and the meatball sub once.....they must have magical little fairies making the ingredients in the back....the food is beyond delicious. What an amazing staff firehouse has at their NB location. They are all so friendly and respectful every-time we go in. Not to mention the food is always 11/10. Hook & Ladder will always be my number 1 go to! Thank you for the best food and service!

It was really quick and easy best time I had here at Firehouse Subs.

This location is amazing! The ladies at the window truly made my day. My son was just not having a good day, go to order food. He is throwing a fit the entire time. They offered a fire house hat and a rice crispy treat. They were so sweet after we pulled away my son stopped crying and was enjoying what they handed out. They deserve nothing but great things 🥰 thank you. Also the food was so good too!

We have never been to a Firehouse subs unfortunately. We got to this place and it was very clean inside and the staff was very friendly. I ordered the club on a sub on the garlic bread and it was the best sub I have ever had. My husband ordered the turkey sub, the engineer. He was very pleased with it. My daughter got the turkey sub kids meal and she said it was so delicious probably about five times. The ingredients were all very fresh and they didn't skimp on the meat or any of the toppings to be honest. I will definitely be looking for Firehouse subs during our travels. This place was delicious, I highly recommend this place! The service was very fast and correct.

It was ok at best. It took almost 20 minutes to get food. On a workday thats a long time to wait. I'd like to try the Italian sometime but I'm not sure I'd go back. $32 for 2 people to eat meh medium sandwiches with drinks is too much. Cute place. Love that they give to the emergency systems, but .9% seems a weird number to "give". Idk maybe we will try again. But big maybe.

Great food, convenient location, polite personel. Just be careful if you try drivethrough during lunch break takes too long to enjoy food and get back to work in time. Food so good though....even if have to eat later kinda worth it.

Really good food, very friendly staff, but it took them 30 minutes to make my sandwich. They weren't busy, there was one person who had ordered after me and we both waited about the same amount of time for our orders. They did make my sandwich a large for no extra charge and threw in two free cookies for me which was nice. Great food though!

Really good sandwiches! Honestly, I can't complain about the food.... But, both times I've gone to this location, I've had to wait an extra long time considering I'm only getting one sandwich. I also think, for what I'm getting, the sandwiches are a little overpriced. They are delicious, but for $10, it should at least come with a drink. In the end... Good food, not great pricing. I'll likely try other places from now on.

Variety sandwiches to choose from. Savory for sure! Meals come with choose of chips and drink. Definitely a must try. Kiddos enjoy the meatball sandwiche.

Went here for the first time. I went after lunch so it was pretty empty. I was promptly treated when I walked in. I ordered the New York Steamer. And chips and a drink. My sandwich was perfect. Very tasty. Great flavors. The only reason I did not give a 5 overall was a few of the tables were a little messy. I had to clean mine as I sat down.

I like firehouse subs. I think they have very good subs.. I rated this place a little lower because I ordered a sub with only tomatoes, mayo, mustard, but ended up getting onions as well. I am not a fan of onions, but didn't know it was wrong until I got home and I was driving 45 minutes back to Firehouse to get them to fix it. I did go back here again a few days afterwards and my sun was made properly, but the sweet tea tasted like I was drinking the tea leaf particles, so had to throw it away. So just be careful with this particular firehouse subs.

I waited ten minutes at drive thru and no one ever came on to take my order. I finally went inside. Still waited for someone to help me. I almost walked out. The soda machine was out of most sodas. I had to ask if they could fill my drink from the soda machine in the back.

We are from St. Augustine Florida, so we are familiar with firehouse subs. The datil pepper sauce is so delicious and is my favorite part. I love that the mural is of a Unicorn and Cougar as firefighters. This particular shop is not my favorite only because of the staff. They won't answer questions, they are very put out when they have to help a customer. I am very patient with restaurants due to the lack of workers and sometimes the rudeness is worth the sauce.

The food is usually good and ingredients are fresh. Unfortunately they get our order wrong half the time. We have to check before driving off because our sandwiches are made incorrectly. We do not like onions and tell them explicitly NO VEGGIES and still we get them home and all the veggies/onions. My son does not like condiments so we tell them to make sandwiches dry. Get them home and they're dripping with oil/vinegar and mayo. Its so sad that they dont listen to their customers. Probably will not be returning after yet another failed order tonight.

Order taker was very impatient and rude. First time there however she expected us to know what we wanted the moment she was ready to take our order. Didn’t catch her name however her hair was colored blue. Took over 20 minutes to receive our order. We observed the crew working and they did not demonstrate a sense of urgency even with the drive through full of cars (which is why we walked in). We observed one team member clean up a table after a family left. He picked up the high chair and put it away without cleaning it. He then sprayed the table and wiped it however did not wipe down the chairs at all. In this COVID environment, how can you have your dining room open however be so careless?

First time there and very well experience with Parker. Went back last week and the Worst Sandwich it was Italian! The lettuce was about 6 pieces of shred the meat thrown in like Slop. I want to bring back to drive up window but instead walk inside and thrown out. WILL NEVER BE BACK. TO MANY OTHER BEST PLACES TO EAT.

Typically I love Firehouse and this location. Definitely not loving Firehouse today. People assemble these sandwiches so I'd expect not to get bad tomato slices. The bread was stale and crumbling so not sure how fresh it was. It will be awhile until I try again. Ugh

I had my favorite sandwich delivered, the hook and ladder fully involved. In the past 3 years that I've ordered this sandwich it was great. NOT TODAY. Disgusting. I took it back and was told that the watery excessive mayo that drenched the sandwich was normal. I reminded the staff that I've ordered this same item many times and it has never had a doggy bottom, and was usually really tasty. Primary flavor was always the ham. They insisted that what I received today was normal. I asked, "so the sandwiches that I've enjoyed previously, those were flukes? And this doggy gross mess is 'the right way'?" They said yes. Seriously. They asked what I expected them to do about it, I said I'd like one made the right way, like all of the previous Hook and Ladder sandwiches I've enjoyed. They refused

I wish I could rate the rest but when I showed up to dine in they were too busy handling drive to take an order and the lady ahead of me was at the register for 5 minutes and still didn’t have her order taken. I will likely not return to this location

Food is great but the guy at the cashier was very rude. I never had an experience like this before at any of the Firehouse locations. When I decided not to place my order he yelled bye! Sounded like don't let the door hit you on the way. Never coming to the New Braunfels location again. Cashier name is Ross :(

Normally great service and quality, even though this location charges over $3 more for the exact same sub than the location in Live Oak. But this time was different. Ordered my sub, it was made wrong as it had raw green peppers on it and I did not order them on it. Called and spoke to someone who read my order back and there clearly should've been NO green peppers. I offered to send it back, they said it wasn't necessary. They were happy to remake mine correctly. Sounds great, right? It seemed that way, until my boyfriend arrives to pick it up and I'm accused of lying about them even being on it or too stupid to distinguish between pickles and green peppers. Obviously, I wouldnt have offered to send it back if I were just trying to get free stuff! Very disappointing experience. Do better!

The food is great but it is always dirty and it always has food and napkins on the floor and most tables and the bathroom is also usually dirty. I have not been there when it might be busy so there is no excuse, I would assume the back looks the same. I would just get your food to go.

Went there on a Thursday, placed an order for one sandwich at 2:15pm, business was slow. Gave a tip and also donated. Took 24 minutes to get my sandwich. Said they forgot. Rushed the sandwich. It was for dine in, but had to take it to go. Was not that great. I go to Jersey mikes or Subway, and it is 10 minutes tops. Wont go anymore.

Driving through NB about 20 mins ago and stopped in for a sub. I ordered an waited for about 15 mins. While driving and eating my sub there was this black but shimmery thing on the edge of my sandwich….A FLY melted in the cheese! Grossss! I’m trying my best not to puke right now. On a serious note your store needs cleaning, the bathroom is nasty as well!

They decided to add mustard lettuce and onions with out being told to do so. Sandwich is where it belongs. In the trash. Waist of 20$

I write this as someone who has always loved Firehouse. This was terrible. My wife ordered two sandwiches and a bag of chips and waited more than 20 minutes for them. By the time they got home they were so soggy that neither of us could finish the slimy bread. The sandwiches were sloppily assembled and even the pickles were enemic and limp. All this for $14 a sandwich. That is utterly unacceptable. If this is a standard for the future, then pass them on and go somewhere else. Sandwiches should not cost $30 , take 20 minutes to make, and be disgusting. Shameful performance, honestly.

On the drive thru I ask how much extra for the chips . They said $3.99 extra . When I got home no chip in the bag . And when I drove all the way back, they did not redo my order. They just gave me the chips. What a joke . I live 20 min away from. What a cheap guy the owner of this place must be , I don’t blame the workers cuz the workers are only there to follow protocols. This company needs a better system . I called 9 times and no one cared to answer calls . I spent $30 total . Drive thru is slow as hell . Slower than chick fil a or canes . No wonder this place never has high traffic. I chose to eat here cuz there was no cars in the drive thru . I was going to canes but they had like 15 cars in the drive thru. Very overpriced for the service provided . I wonder what kind of sorry as apology I’m gonna receive from FireHouse company .

My husband and son just went to this location. They got home to eat, which we only live 3 mins down the road, and my sons mac and cheese was gross and cold. He ordered a small hook and ladder. Below is what we were given. Not even a 4 inch, one slice of thin meat, and it was cold and gross. This is ridiculous for $13 dollars. The sandwich alone is $7. Get outta here!!! We called the location to speak to someone 10 mins before they close but no one answered. To add, my son is only 8 and he heard the young kids there cursing saying "damn" and other similar language. I will be calling back tomorrow to get my money back. Below is a picture of what we got for $13 dollars. Do not go to firehouse. A waste of money

I visited this location hoping for a satisfying sub, but my experience fell short of expectations. Despite technical issues with the app and an extended wait time in the drive-thru, I was disappointed to find my sub inverted with ingredients stuck to the bottom of the box upon arriving home. This is definitely not my idea of “heartfelt service” per your mission statement and I’m very skeptical about giving this location any of my business in the near future!
