Got good stuff there! Would recommend 10/10
Best pizza in New Paltz without a doubt!
Best place to go after a long night drinking in new platz
Very good pizza. Had the cheese and the tomato/broccoli. Both very good.
They make really good Sicilian pizza. Light and crispy and delicious!!
Easy going atmosphere. excellent pizza for late night munchies.
Can you say Chicken Rolls? We sure could after tasting the finest in Hudson Valley poultry.
Very friendly and attentive staff. Was there for lunch. Great slices.
The best pizza in town! Can't wait to go back.
I loooveee gourmet pizza. The owner is super cool
Wednesday's they have the best wings for $0. 55 each
Still as good as it was when I first tried it 13 years ago!
Best place to get pizza after a long night of drinking. The real OG spot.
My favorite pizza, ever! Never lets me down!
Pizza could be great if only the cheese tasted real.
Cheap, fast, classic NY pizza. What more can you ask for?
One of the best slices in New Paltz!
Hello reader! I am here now w the boys and I must say, it's p lit! Come here and get some grub!
Great pizza. One of my favorite!!
Great pizza, and even better wings!
Good pizza, Great atmosphere good prices. I'll Definitely be back
Good pizza deal once a week- but busy times can get nuts so plan ahead
I've been coming here for decades, and it's my favorite pizza in town! Highly recommended!
I love the pizza here. Thinner crust (which seems to be the NYS standard) but with a bit of a crisp to it. Very tasty, one of my favs in the area.
The meatball parm sub was awesome! Great flavor, big portion and fairly priced. Will definitely order it again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Better flavor than most the pizza you can get in nyc, gotta stop here if you are In town
Great Pizza and open late for a late night slice! A pepperoni slice all day!
I have celiacs disease so I asked if they had a gf pizza, they were so helpful and the pizza was AMAZING!!!
Always good for a late night stop by. Very quick and affordable!
Great pizza 🍕 stays open till 4 on the weekends - perfect for that late craving!
Employees are really nice. Food fantastic and fast every time. Great music.
We have ordered from Gourmet for many years and tonight in spite of the snow and cold they got our order to us on time and as delicious as ever. So a big BRAVO to Scott and the Gourmet folks.
Gourmet is amazing. My boyfriend and I DREAM about their Chicken, Bacon, Ranch pizza… and he’s lactose intolerant!! Tried a CBR from another local place one night when Gourmet was closed and it was horrible. Immediately vowed to only buy Gourmet’s pizza in New Paltz, especially CBR. Seriously, go here. Eat their pizza. Try the best chicken, bacon, ranch pizza I’ve ever laid my taste buds on.
This place is always good. I frequently get a slice or two here, never disappointed. The stuffed pizza is awesome. The cinnamon knots are a nice desert too.
The perfect spot to grab a slice or two in town. Reasonable selection of slices, heated quick, and priced right.
Best drink pizza. It even slaps when I'm not drunk!!
Great pizza place that knows its crowd. They stay open till 4 am and they handle the crowds of people very well. Their pizza is great, they play great music, and the workers are nice and accommodating.
Went there with a few friends, it was empty when we walked in, we order one of their combos and the pizza was delicious, the garlic knots exceptional, staff is friendly and patient. Loved their pizza!!!
This is the late night spot, but yall already knew it! Delicious at any time of day though. Consistency great pizza! This is where its at!
If I could give this place more stars I would, love the pizza and the guys who make it, The register girls are also super sweet, a great place to hit up after the bars!
Delicious pizza- warmed perfectly and crispy! The French fries were amazing too, fresh and hot! The cinnamon knots are amazing!!! Will definitely come back here for a slice soon!!
I got a really delicious Hawaiian pizza pie for delivery!!!!
Order from this restaurant by mistake. Pizza was awesome. What a great mistake
This place was very tiny, in a cozy way. food was delicious very cheap
What a Joy to have this place on our way home to Kerhonkson. We lucked out and landed on a Tuesday in which there is a special promotion for a pie. Not that you need one because the pies at GP are astronomical (and delicious). I stopped by with my 3yr old and pregnant wife , and we didn't have to break the piggy bank to satisfy our cravings, which were insatiable. I believe it was the owners who served us then his team mates who were all graceful and professional. Tell you what, I think we'll stop by again. Keep it up keep it real!
I came up from florida, to work a pirate festival, it ended at 11:00, and I was so happy they were still open. The food was delicious
Me and my girlfriend are from Buffalo Ny and this place has been awesome. We have ordered pizza's 2 different time's and each pizza was cooked perfectly. We stopped in around midnight on our visits. The employees are nice and easy to talk to. Keep up the great work everyone.
They have THE best CBR (chicken, bacon, ranch) pizza I've ever had! The pizza maker really knows his stuff (the guy w/ the glassed and hat). Also, the other lady (really short hair and blond) was really nice and great to talk to while I wanted for my slice! Great service! Great pizza!
The food is pretty good. The place is also very cozy and the owner is very nice!
Went there on a lark... The pizza and service was awesome!
Good pizza. Good service. Satisfied customer.
Pizza is pretty good but make sure to eat it soon because in my experience it gets cold quickly
Solid pizza in the middle of town. They offer beer and tons of seating as well if you are looking to sit down for a bit
I really like their chicken wings and they are SO cheap. I think wednesdays are 40 cent wings. The pizza is not what you go there for, you go there for the WINGS.
We thought the pizza was really good. This place is very casual, a local "pizza joint".
Pizza isn't as great as the stuff back home, but the buffalo wings here are amazing.
Personally I love this place but if you come here any time after 10:00 on just about any night mainly weekends tho its packed full of drunken people and its great if your drunk too, but the food is fire
Good Pizza. Specially liked Tuesday Deal. And very friendly staff.
Usually always great! Cold subs are lame with hardly any cold cuts.
Place looks dirty as a pile of used gym socks. Staff is usually dingy snobby hipsters who play around on the job. Bathrooms are horrendous. No easy parking close. But heck if they dont have the best pizza in town, especially after a wild night in New Paltz.
Good cheap pizza. Daily specials. Nothing wrong with it, but you get what you pay for. If you are trying to save a buck, go here. If you want the best, spend the extra few bucks at Flames down the street
Cheap, good pizza with a ton of selections open late nights with free delivery and weekly specials. What more can you ask of a small college town pizza shop? There's a good reason it has survived
Quality Pizza Slices with a nice thin crisp crust. Inside of the Pizza shop is like a time machine with the classic menu board (removable letters), booth benches and arcade games.
Excellent, good taste on slice Tuesday htake out special large pie for $10,just ok not sure why eat in slice was so good and take he just so so needed more sauce but give a slice a try rated it highbased on friendly staff and slice, hadthin cheese pirnoth times, give a slice a try, reasonably priced make their own dough and spin the pie into the air fun to watch old pizzeria feel worth a trip will we go back yes everything gets ,3tries then I kudgebeback with update after third visit
Had Sicilian pizza and was thick as expected and flavorful. The garlic knots were delicious
fast food and open late at night but below average pizza
pizza is good prices are good friendly staff not a bad place I'll have to try there other Foods again I've had them in the past but that was years ago
Good place to get pizza on the weekend. Great food but employees can't keep up keeping customer area clean
I got two plain slices of pie they tasted good but they were a little too greasy.
They're open late which is a huge plus but the pizza is mediocre. Definitely check it out though.
Pizza's not bad, but the place gets pretty crowded sometimes.
Grandma pizza was not similar to the grandma pizza I'm familiar with. It was not terrible but I should have just stuck with a regular pie. The wings were just okay. The caesar salad was terrible -- just lettuce and sub-par dressing.
Love this place and all the workers except for the old guy with a nasty attitude who works during the daytime. I avoid going here when i know he’s working because he is always slamming things on the counter and giving me an attitude as soon as I walk in. Don’t expect to get a tip when you act like that
I was in New Paltz for work, beautiful little town! When dinner time rolled around I was surprised to find few, if any, food establishments open after 9pm. Not a shock to me on most trips... but in a college town where bars are open till 4am? Where do y'all eat late at night here lol? Anyway, I was relieved to find something. I opted for a "small" broccoli white pizza. I also ordered a 10 piece wing, buffalo style. I came at the time specified. My pizza was done, wings were not. I was told another 7 minutes. I know how long wings cook for, and pizza too as I worked at many pizza shops in my yute. So timing was off here. I was more hungry than upset though. I grabbed my order and had to check for an extra blue cheese that I had ordered over the phone, was charged for, but wouldnt have gotten if I didnt check. All these things I can look past, provided the food is good. The pizza was pretty solid. For being a small, it was very good size and would probably feed a family of 4. The crust was fairly thin, cooked right, with a good bite. Presentation was good with the large spreads of ricotta. Decent portion of the broccoli scattered on top. I do think that it could've used a touch more salt, maybe the ricotta washes out some of the white sauce seasoning? In any case it was a solid pie, 7 1/2 - 8 out off 10. The wings....fell short. The pros, they were hot (temp), not undercooked, and the buffalo sauce was respectable....and I'm from the Buffalo area. The bad, and I attribute much of this to the to go container they use, was that the outside of the wings were soggy/rubbery. My hotel was very close by, and I know they had just come out of the fryer...hard to expect crispy perfection on any to-go wings I suppose, but a vented comtainer might help. I like some crisp to my wing! Wings were 3 out of 10 and would be lower if the buffalo sauce wasnt good. I think 5 stars is tough to rank accurately, so I gave the place a 3, though I think they're closer to a 4 than a 3. Pizza was the high point and a great value. I'd love to try a different pie configuration if back in town, though I'd skip the wings this time.
They make a good plain pie here, but as far as toppings Don’t order a specialty pie. Ordered a claim scampi pie received a pie with dried out claims from a can. Also a chicken bacon ranch, looked like chicken nuggets where used. Wasn’t worth it definitely over priced for what you receive. Way better specialty pizza in the area.
The late night drunk pizza joint in New Paltz. Greasy cheap and readily available. Was it good pizza? Most people can't remember. 😂 It's decent but not the best sober pizza in town. During the day they also have standard deep fried fryer fare. But really this place serves as the bread and cheese respite for late night wanderers between bar visits. And that's not a bad thing! It serves it's role well.
The pizza was good. A large slice. Just wish the staff used gloves when prepping the food. I watched the guy grab my pizza slices and knots bare fingers right after using the register and didn’t think twice. That same pizza being made by the guy in the corner w/out gloves. It’s a kitchen please follow health regulations.
The pizza is the least quality in New Paltz. Popular because it's open late for drunk kids
A completely biased review, but coming from a native queens resident, this pizza is absolutely abysmal. The sause is terrible, and the cheese is sub par. I advise against this place.
It's not that great but not bad. I eat here bc there's nowhere else that's actually good. 5/10
Salty food...salad was small...pizza however was good
Usually convenient, quality is NOT consistent. For some reason today my garlic knots were cold bread with cold oil slathered on, and my tater tots were very clearly fried, and then fried again later. Both really subpar. Had it been dine-in I would have sent both back, but since it was delivery I’m stuck trying to revive the knots in my oven. Def not convenient. Will try Pasquale’s next time ugh
Not totally disgusting, but definitely the worst pizza place in new paltz. I've had their pizza about 5-10 times. Both in the restaurant and delivered. In the restaurant, its ok at best. Staff wasn't rude like it says in some of the other reviews, but not super friendly either. Average. Delivery guy forgot my soda like 3 times in a row and was a total dick about it. Only reason it's not one star is because they are open later than the competition.
If you are looking for late night meal DO NOT order from them!!! Waste of money! They have no regard for the customers! Especially for college students!
Horrible people work there and serve disgusting food. Whole place stinks and employees are haters
No flavor soggy onion rings my chicken roll was burnt at the bottom&I’m highly disappointed !!!
Make sure you cross out the tip on the receipt so they don't give themselves $20.00
Chicken Ceasar salad the chicken was frozen and reheated in microwave nasty
$10 for a wrap that was poorly made and had little ingredients actually in it. Not going to return ever.
Pizza is pretty bad unless you are drunk and employees refuse to let you use the bathroom even if you buy food. No real reason to go here if any of the other local places are open.
Don’t support a place where workers standby and not help an innocent customer being hate crimed!! I witnessed a customer minding her business waiting in line where two people were causing a disturbance and assaulting the customer meanwhile the employees stood by and did nothing. If you own a place and someone is causing a disturbance u do something not be a bystander. Their silence spoke louder than anything in the restaurant. They don’t care about their customers. It’s not worth their food or money.
Food was decent however staff was extremely rude and crappy. Was looking forward to their wing night wednesday but it's a lie. It's only for the first order and then after that you can't reorder and get more wings for the same price. Which completely defeats the purpose of wing night. Wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
Pizza had enough cheese to be on 3 pies grease dripping everywhere flimsy thin crust prob from weight of cheese. So bad we threw the whole pie out. The fries we ordered were in tinfoil and soggy.
They advertise a tuesday special on the windows they don’t do. Then they charge you more when you get there
Gourmet? How in the world do you claim to have gourmet pizza??? Your not on the gourmet list, in comparison, Dominos is on the gourmet list ranked #1 anf your barely scratching at number 34. This is the worst experience ive had with pizza and the service. Overpriced, over rated, classless, and the epitome of how not to make a pizza. Called to voice my concerns and was hit with a barrage of rude dismissive questions and was asked if i was joking and then she hung up me when i asked again for a manager. Alls she knew was the Boss.
We ordered door dash spent over $50 for burnt food. The chicken parm sandwich we ordered as you can see in the picture is burnt. We called the pizza place to get a refund or get a new one sent and were told they were extremely busy and there was nothing they could do about it. They told us to call door dash!! As you can see in the picture the whole sandwich was burnt. Pasquales in New Paltz is sooo much better they were just closed and they were the only ones delivering with door dash.
Gourmet has really good pizza! I’ve lived here for a while and have eaten all kinds of pizza in this town over the years. I still like this place a lot as far as taste goes! Where they are absolutely HORRIBLE is if you’re ordering delivery. Their customer service is abhorrent to a degree I can’t fathom since they’re a business that’s been in town for many years. My wife and I ordered a pizza today at 5:55 and we were told it’d be ~45 minutes. Well, over an HOUR AND A HALF later, we have the pizza which is cold as ice and we’re told the delivery person had phone issues. Phone issues that took over 45 minutes past my delivery expectation to resolve?! Come on! Garlic knots were also out of stock apparently despite the fact that the order was taken by phone and the guy could have just called us and said “Hey! Despite that the knots are right in front of me while we’re on the phone, I neglected to realize they’re gone! Want a substitute or should we take it off?” So, the pizza is so cold we basically have to cook it ourselves, the order wasn’t entirely what we asked for, and by the time we ate my wife had a migraine from being so hungry! By the way, we ordered by phone this time because we did the app that they want you to use last time and our order arrived late again after calling numerous times due to it being over 30 minutes past what it should have been. Lastly, I waited until I ate to write this to be as kind as possible because their pizza is good. Do you just not care about your customers anymore after all these years? What happened?! We’d happily continue to eat your pizza if the delivery becomes reasonable like the other places in town! Maybe we just order on days where everyone’s struggling with tons of time consuming issues! If that’s been the case, give me a freaking call rather than letting people sit there blindly wondering if they’ll ever get pizza. You can call people. You can communicate. Maybe do that!
I used to eat here all the time before covid. This place is a staple to my college experience. However, quality has been really trash as of recently especially when they leave this blonde girl and boy in charge. The pizza dough was raw when I got home, and so were the garlic knots. My friends tried the wings and the chicken tasted like a butcher shop which means the chicken was probably extremely old. I’m honestly so disgusted and disappointed. Some of us threw up the next morning no doubt because of the actually bad food we consumed. If you wanna keep your organs intact, I’d say to go to Rinos Pizza. Ps. I also called to let them know items were missing and that the food was raw, and they approached me with a lot of attitude while telling me to call Tuesday for the owner. Y’all think y’all slick but with this type of quality and customer service... idk man. This place isn’t what it used to be. Someone call Gordon Ramsay
By far the worst pizza I’ve ever had in my life. Extremely low quality cheese (rubbery and weird taste) and virtually no sauce on the pizza. I see why they charge an extra $0.75 for marinara (never saw a pizza place charge for this)... there’s probably so many people asking for extra because they put none on the pie. Dominos definitely makes better pizza than this place... very disappointed because this used to be one of my favorite pizza places in town.
