All the staff were very concerned about everything you may need. Also the restaurant was extremely clean. Even on the way out fro. Grandma, mom, and son were so friendly making everyone feel welcome. Thank you

To be fair, we didn't have dinner here, just a few appetitizers but the food was tasty. Family establishment which was nice to see. We’ll be back to try dinner!

Just tried it today and it was amazing! I ordered the ox tail and it was delicious- it took a bit to arrive but they have great portions, lovely cook, and friendly staff! Will come again :)

Its clean , it has a amazingly great food... It will malt in ulur mouth... Id definitely give this place a billion if i could but i can't so 10 it is and everyone i mean everyone if you come to New Paltz NY please come here to Yah So Nice its worth every pennie dime nickel or quarter you spend... Curry chicken was so good and the greens and rice was excellent. Hubby had oxtails wit teamed veggies and rice and it was do good.. I recommend u going here if u are in New paltz.. this will b are go to place for now on.

I live in NP and was excited for a Caribbean spot as I grew up in Poughkeepsie.I’d like to give grace so a 2 star instead of 0 because it’s new but the curry goat and collard greens with basmati rice and peas was one of the worst I’ve ever had. I gave it a try to support but this was disgusting.

The oxtails tasted as if they were only cooked in beef broth, there was no sweetness and no depth of flavor, and no gravy from the slow cooking process. Also from a price point, I purchased a large oxtail thinking to share it between people (for $28.00) and received 8 small oxtails, a spoonful of rice and peas, and steamed cabbage all stuffed in a little rectangle container you would normally get from chinese takeout. They were tough, which feels as if they were made quickly or were sitting for a while. The rice and peas had no coconut milk, or flavor. The fried chicken was made with orange peels, and dry.

I received disgusting service by a bartender just now who discriminated against my age after I showed him a valid I.d and he was racist because I’m white and he told me to fetch him a second form of I.d because he couldn’t believe I was older than him. And he made fun of me for asking for an apple flavored drink. After he was done wrongfully discriminating against my perfectly legal license, I am leaving a 1 star for his racism and failure to provide service.

We are the order DoorDash credited back due to bone fragments in chicken dish. Sent photos given refund. We ordered the patties, beef and curry. Both tasted same as gas station patties at 4x the cost. Did not get Jamaica curry spice at all, bland and pasty fell apart like sitting too long or frozen then thawed cycles? Or oil not hot enough? Done fragments in curry chicken, dangerous, unhealthy and unsanitary. Ya - not so nice of a start.

We are talking 4 tiny pieces of which 60% of it is bone. So I essentially paid over $16 for a tiny takeout container of white rice and a few bites of chicken and cabbage. The jerk seasoning itself was decent, but the rice and peas and steamed cabbage were extremely bland. Judging by the other reviews I’m not alone in receiving a ridiculously tiny portion while paying a ludicrous price. I’ll head up to Kingston when I’m craving Jamaican.
