Delicious thin crust pizza, fresh ingredients. Clean friendly environment. Hometown feel. Walking distance to the walkway over the Hudson and HV rail trail.
We order from Pomodoro regularly for ten years. Pizza is consistent: thin crust, great sauce that is balanced with the right amount of cheese. Service is excellent when we eat in and quick to pick up from when we do take out.
Go to spot for pizza best sauce cheese combo in the area!!! Great personal pies too!!!
The pizza is amazing. It's always cooked to perfection and consistent! Highly recommend! Fast & friendly delivery service for the PV restaurant as well.
We were so pleasantly surprised! The food and service were terrific. We had pizza, salad, pasta, calzones, and French fries. All very delicious. The waitress and cook were so nice and welcoming. They didn’t hesitate to welcome us even when we came in shortly before closing. The atmosphere was cozy, clean, and kid friendly. We really enjoyed our dinner!
We have recently moved to the area and tried all the other pizza places. We ordered from here for the 1st time and were so happy with the food. Beautiful pizza, delivered on time by a happy delivery person. The garlic knots were not greasy at all and full of flavor. These guys are doing something right! Overall, delicious, friendly and 100% recommend!
Nice staff, up to date interior, clean and most of all great pie! Great sause and crust! Extremely nice to have a place from Highland to Marlboro that has an assortment of flavors for wings besides hot and BBQ. The teriyaki wings were delicious with an actual chunky blue cheese. Highland has some of the worst pizza shops I've ever experienced but this place is on point!
A solid pizzeria. In the past visit, I had a sausage and peppers hero, pne of my favorites. What came out was a real disappointment. Very little sausage, burned as if re- fried, thin slices that you would put on pizza, overcooked peppers and onions. Pizza was good. They ate close to walkway over the Hudson so we will be back, but for pizza only.
A hidden gem, not too many people know about. You can have a nice slice of pizza and go next door and get a scoop of ice cream.. definitely a win!
Nice pizzeria spot right on the west side of Walkway over the Hudson. We ended up ordering the chicken fingers and fries which was a small mistake as this place is primarily a pizza joint. My bad. Prices are on the higher end of reasonable. Place is clean, well appointed and kept. Would visit again, but for pizza.
I was excited to try their pizza after reading the reviews, but maybe they had an off night. Ordered a bbq chicken pizza and was told they could put bbq chicken on a pizza. This was the end result. Red sauce underneath, with grilled chicken in some type of weird sauce that tasted awful. This is not how bbq chicken pizza is done :*( was very salty also.
Food is always decent & honestly the service usually is too; however, tonight 12/18/25 the service was horrid! I placed the order & had my mother who was passing by with her dog that just had surgery, pick up the food. She called to ask nicely if anyone was available to bring the food to the car & explained that her dog just had surgery & she didn’t want to leave him in the car to panic. The woman on the other end huffed & told her “uuuuugghhhh you’re going to have to give us a minute” my mother said okay. Then two men came out to give the order to her, on their way back into the building the one man said to the other “wow she couldn’t have come inside to get the food herself”. When she told me this I called the to speak to the owner. I told him that my mother paid $130 for the food, we are regular customers that spend a decent amount every time we go there & especially over the last 5 years & he responded that he did not like that I made a remark of how much was paid followed by a complaint. I guess Pomodoro’s is rolling in money & $130 is a very minimum amount to him. He told me he was sorry for the experience but he can’t control what others say/do & he even went as far as telling me that he’s sure the woman who answered the phone probably didn’t mean to sound annoyed, that it was a busy night, & the attitude wasn’t towards us…that he too sounds like that sometimes. He hoped the food tasted good & would speak to his staff. Food might be good but rude staff can sure put a nasty taste in your mouth if you know what I mean. We will no longer be driving 35 minutes for this food & will be taking our business & tiny amount of money somewhere else. Good luck!
Hey, no shame on anyone that works here. It gets busy when it gets busy, but there’s no reason to give a customer the wrong order after asking him. If the order is ready, he stated “ Actually, the order is ready here it is. “ Keep in mind, he took my order over the phone. I asked for half chicken buffalo half plain and I received a plane when I got home with my order. I was very disappointed, so I gave them a call and he said he would deliver it to me for free. He stated “ OK, I will deliver it to you” and hung up Without acknowledging my address that was given to him previously, but without a room number. I was fine with going to pick up the pizza instead so I did. He seemed very frantic the owner as he was busy and told me the pizza was being delivered by the delivery driver. I told him to refund my pizza then he gave my pizza to someone else which I thought was gross because I already touched the pizza and it’s not fresh. I wouldn’t recommend going here anymore. It’s not like it used to be. As I was leaving the store, the delivery driver came back and she told me that she was sent to deliver the pizza to me but the funny part is she’s not even the delivery driver. She’s a cashier. She was disgusted shortly after I told her the story !!!!😭😭😭. This is really disappointing as it looks like I’ll be looking for a new pizza shop
First off, the service here is terrible. We were seated quickly, but 10 minutes later and no one came to the table, so I went up to order an appetizer to the counter and tried ordering drinks too and out server behind counter said he would be right over to take our orders. He then came over 5 minutes later with just the mozzarella sticks and asked us what we wanted for main meal, then walked away, and I said "excuse me sir, what about our drinks, you never asked us, and that's usually the first thing you do" he looked mad that I said this. 2nd off, the main meals were ridiculous! I ordered Italian Sub for $9.40 and no lie, it was worse then me making my own sub, it was very dry bread with no maynoisee, pepper, salt all missing, barely any lettuce and the whole thing was a mess, the oil and vinegar was black and not good at all (I would of been better with an Walmart sub) see my pictures. 3rd off never saw a Stromboli this flat and small, and it was hard as a rock, for $8. Then 4th off look at that spaghetti dinner with chicken, their was no chicken at all almost, and it looked like can of watered down spaghetti sauce from a can, for $17. I was absolutely disappointed, especially for a place that's Italian. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The prices are outrageous for poor food and service. I believe the reviews are fake, or people don't know what good Italian food is, Brennies is definitely a better option. The pictures tell all!
