My meal was excellent and cooked to perfection, I had the down under burger with sweet potato fries. For dessert I had a cannoli and it was to die for. Our server was excellent. I would highly recommend this Diner if you are ever in the area.
The Palace Diner is a staple of the area. The service and food is consistently good. The architecture even brings in some nostalgia (see pic with the table jukebox). I had the El Paso Burger. It was perfectly made. But, I have to give a huge shout out to the sweet potato fries with the honey mustard sauce. My server gave me the sauce on the side and assured me they pair nicely. Believe me when I say this - the honey mustard sauce is a game changer. I haven’t been so impressed and enamored with a sweet potato fries before, but trust me - if you can get sweet potato fries on the side, get the honey mustard sauce. You won’t be disappointed.
This is one of my favourite place's to go to on the late night. Their food is always spot on amazing, as is their service. I highly recommend this place to anyone. If you're looking for a late night snack, drink, or meal, they're open 24/7. This is the one place that has always remained open with their original 24/7 hours and day's. Whilst other place's close at 11 p.m., this establishment is open to the public. Keep up the good work guy's.
I stopped here with my mom for lunch. Our lunch was served quickly and was extremely delicious! I had a chicken Caesar salad with a side of cottage cheese, she had a grilled cheese with macaroni salad. The waitresses name was Lea, she was very attentive and polite, I never had to ask for my drink to be filled, she would notice when I needed a refill before having to ask! I love service like this! 10/10 highly recommend!
I've missed this exact type of place since moving out of the northeast. Palace diner is the definition of the northeast diner. 24hrs. A menu with everything you could possibly want to eat. And the food is great. I had the patty melt and it was just perfect. The burger was cooked to the exact medium ordered. The sourdough. Mmm. The onions, grilled just right. I ate too fast to get a photo of my meal, but the empty plate should sum it up (The cole slaw was also fresh and crisp.) Probably coming back for breakfast.
Best pecan and banana pancakes anywhere. The omelettes are awesome too!
Food was fine. The highlight? Jeff. He has a sport announcer type voice, very attentive and funny. Served the heck out of the meal.
One of best waiters ever had Vincent was amazing miss this kind of service wasnt good was phenomenal. Been a long time since put up a great review on a server. Checked all the boxes made a great time with friends ever greater. Food was very good after eating here a few hundred times in my life good food made great. Had a nice meal few restaurants give a damn about your food or your care. This restaurant did both. Vincent works thursday friday saturday and sunday. Thanks for being more than good and caring a whole lot more than anyone I have run across in a very very very long time!
Great food, and great portions! It can get busy but the wait is well worth it. I used to live near Poughkeepsie and now I am 3+ hours away but I still think about this place and all the great memories I’ve made there. Also, they have a music jukebox on each table which is rare for diners nowadays. I have always been greeted by staff when walking in and recommend this place to any local or college student.
A great place to meet and dine with friends. Attentive staff and menu selection and portions were huge!
Never mind the low ratings. You can stay in Westchester then. I’m simply amazed every time I come here! Great food and great service from Lea. Nice atmosphere and a great menu selection. This time I had the Arugula Salad.
The atmosphere was very inviting and clean. The dessert display when you walk in makes me wanting more. I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it was huge and stuffed with chicken, cheese, onions and peppers. Then it has sour cream, avocado and guacamole on the side. Everything our party ordered was perfect. The price was great also.
Great vibe. Loved this place burgers were on point and the salads looked so good. Had an amazing server Vincent u the man bro!! He had a great smile and some quality costumer service. (And mind you I came in at midnight )
French toast was some of the best I've tasted in a long time. It was not dry .. was just right. Coffee a bit strong but all the better to wake up and start the day with.
Great food and great prices. Had the veggie omelette. Came loaded with a nice variety of veggies and a huge portion of home fries. Also had a toasted blueberry muffin. Nothing was greasy or slathered in butter. Food was delicious!
My experience was wonderful! Great food, great staff, great prices! Love this place and I will definitely be back. Went there after my son's 8th grade graduation for dinner. My server, Juan, went above and beyond. Very friendly and attentive. All the staff I interacted with were great! The restaurant was extremely clean, including the bathrooms. I mentioned to the cashier on my way out that I was very satisfied with the service and he complimented the my server. All in all, It was a great experience!
Me and my mom have been regulars here for years, and for good reason. The food is great (at least the vegetarian stuff, I'm vegetarian and thus can't speak on the meat, but it's presumably also good). The wait staff are nice, but not in an overbearing way (which I see as a good thing), and we're on pretty good terms with a few of them. Also, the diner at large is pretty clean (even the men's bathroom, which from my experience is usually a mess, is surprisingly clean). My only real critiques are of a basic "it can't be helped" variety; mildly-long wait times during peak hours for example, and even then as I said it really can't be helped. I recommend going at ~2:00 p.m. on a weekend as it's not especially crowded then. If you're visiting the Poughkeepsie area and want to visit one diner here, let it be this one.
immediately greeted with warm energy when we came in on a rainy Monday morning. awesome old school retro vibe. the only diner i’ve been to that gives you FOUR different kinds of sausages to choose from: skinny links, fat links, impossible (vegetarian), AND patties! got a classic order of two eggs over easy, fat sausage links, extra crispy home fries, and white toast. everything was hot and fresh. our waitress was also extremely attentive and kind! their freshly squeezed orange juice is also amazing.
Came for a brunch the day after Marist graduation and we were seated quickly. Our server was phenomenal- I’d say we changed up about 3 of the meals ordered and with every request she simply said, “I’m not sure they can do that but if they can’t I’ll come back over and let you know”. And she never had to come back because all the changes were put in place. The food was super delish! The portions were good size and the service was so friendly despite a Saturday morning “busy-vibe”. Can’t go wrong with anything on the menu —
Was in the neighborhood for a graduation and decided to stop by here for dinner. I came in with standard expectations for a diner but this place surpassed it by so so much. Vincent was our waiter and he was great! The portion was great and everything was delicious! The diner was also very spacious and perfect for a large family; we had a party of 13!
What a wonderful, late night life-saver this diner was! With old school jukeboxes at the tables and a menu the likes of which I've NEVER seen before, this place is totally worth the visit. It was our only option after a late gig in Poughkeepsie but boy were we happy to discover it. The menu is immense. While I would only rate the actual food we got maybe 3.8 stars, the fact that they carry so many options and were open that late pushes me to the 5 star rating.
The service is very good. The food was cooked very well and the price is reasonable. Coffee is really good.

We were a party of 7 and were on our way back to CT while we stopped here for breakfast. The staff was exceptionally nice and the diner was great. The food was average diner food. The fresh orange juice was great. A lot of parking available.
Good food, good prices, massive menu, massive portions. If you want dependable diner food, palace is the place. The servers are very nice but stretched thin, so a little patience helps. When we buy entrees, we always end up with enough leftovers for multiple meals. For being such a big place it’s pretty clean, and their decorations around the holidays are very cheerful. A Poughkeepsie staple.
Went here for dinner with group of seven. Service was excellent and very attentive. All of the food we ordered was good with only one exception. The avocado on two dishes were very mushy and not good as reported by one in the dinner party. Wasn’t a big deal to me as I don’t eat avocado. This is the classic diner with all of your favorites. I will give a shout out for the brisket on the brioche bun as they were awesome.
1st off a grilled cheese with pulled pork doesn't include peppers and onions (which were not disclosed as included on the menu listing) 2nd I asked for curly fries, not delivered upon and 3rd (as pictured) I guess that is what goes for a "slice" of chocolate layer cake...looks more like a sliver...and $8...back in the say that paid for a WHOLE small cake.
I ordered the shrimp wrap, but when I took the first bite I realized the shrimp was not properly cooked andIhad to push it aside. Other than that, everything else was amazing! The ambiance was superb, servers 👌, and the service was 👍! I most certainly will be going back.
The food portions were spot on and the prices were great! Service could be better depending on what server you get.
The Palace Diner is a nice restaurant in Poughkeepsie, NY near Marist College. .The restaurant had many tables available and was very neat. The menu offered many tempting choices. They also have a wide variety of desserts. Ordered take out and the food was done on time and the service was friendly. I would definitely try this place again. The food I had was good. Very popular place.
Nice diner fast friendly service. I had lunch wife had breakfast plates came out together good food .
Stopped here for a quick bite on our way through Poughkeepsie. Great atmosphere, busy restaurant, nice menu, clean bathrooms. Service was ok. Waiter put in a wrong order and it took a few minutes to get it fixed. Also, ordered a dessert and it was stale. :(
Such a nice vibe diner with retro interior and fun tables. We had food with great portion size and sweet juice. Just a tad bit oily but love the cake display! I had a carrot cheese cake! The coleslaw was great but very sweet! Close to Culinary Institute, quick bite with booth seatings.

Reasonable price but waited quite long. Food is always good. Edited Dec 7, 2022 We had bad experience when we got this server. I don't wanna mention his/her name. The last time we went he/she was extremly rude. We asked for water, never got it. We were supposed to get juice that comes with a meal, never got it. We even ask him/her but he/she said no. We looked at the menu again before paying and yes we were supposed to get it! So, we got it for to go instead. We also ordered coffee, which normally they will ask if we want to refill. He/She never asked! It was kinda like we disturb him/her everytime when we tried to ask him/her for something. Last month I went there and also got a bad service. We walked in, there was not a hostess there but there were 2 servers but they kept on chitchatting. They saw us but pretended like we were not there.
Stopped in while waiting for my car get done at the mechanic, ended up staying for around 7 hours. Staff was nice enough, but not overwhelmingly friendly. Had the biscuits and gravy for breakfast and the French onion soup for lunch - wasn't particularly impressed with either. The real highlight was the coffee. Not a bad spot to grab a coffee on a rainy day but I sadly cant recommend the food.
I asked for a booth. Sat us at a table. Hostess said she would try to find me a booth. I assume she forgot about me because she never came back and there were plenty of booths empty. Chocolate milk tasted like chocolate water. Our waiter was not rude but he was also not friendly. My son would not eat the mozzarella sticks. He said they were 2nd worst he ever had. One positive was At least they weren't the worst. Ha The experience was not horrible but If I ever have the choice again..I would not go back.
Came in to have some breakfast and the gentleman, white hair and glasses, seems like he doesn’t like to greet people. Should take notice as many people like to feel welcomed when coming to eat. Waitress was excellent with her table service. Ordered some scrambled eggs, sausage and fries. Eggs were pretty good. Sausage was good as well and nice portion. French fries were real bad, you could taste the old oil they were fried in, could not eat them. The other person ordered, scrambled eggs, pancakes, bacon and home fries. Eggs good as above, Pancakes you cant really get wrong and were very good. Bacon wasn’t bad with a nice smoked taste. Home fries were bad, best way to describe them according to guest is they were old and reheated. Not edible. Overall the diner is nice has plenty of parking and if they put a person with a smile and great attitude it would feel more inviting. My reviews are honest and meant to better a business not to hurt them if the owner takes notice of reviews. Hopefully they will read this and change their food quality and then I would change the review.
Lots of food options and everything was delicious and hot the salad was very well made and fresh, the basket of fries were huge! The chicken pot pie was amazing we'd go there again just for the chicken pot pie. The Red Fox Wrap was pretty good except I think they forgot the rach dressing. The loaded potato skins were so good we almost eat them all before remembering to take a picture. The only complaint I would have is they wouldn't let us sit in the other side of the dinner where there were fewer guests but they said no when we asked also the service was extremely slow and we felt forgotten other than these two negative things I would give this place 5 stars and come back again however we work hard for our $ and will go somewhere that appreciates their customers more next time.
I would definitely recommend the breakfast items. Being the only place that serves 24 hours. The dinners are hit or miss. Sometimes is questionable. But great service.
Ordered through DoorDash, though I picked it up. Order was done quickly and correctly. service was prompt. This place has a HUGE menu, which is generally a red flag for me, but given this was ju…
As you might be able to tell, there was a very large wad of hair on the floor, and the French Fry next to it. As some others have mentioned, the fries are hit or miss. I got the miss, which meant greasy and not very tasty fries. I left them over. The waitress was not surprised and said they can be very crispy or older. When I went to pay my bill, the host (apologizes to actual hosts) couldn't be bothered thanking me for my business. Even when I said "your welcome " my admonishment was either lost on him, or he just didn't care. He never asked how my meal was. I never tell folks not to patronize a merchant. You will have to decide if this is the kind of place you want to spend your hard earned money in.
So there are two kinds of omelets, an omelet with firm (not burned eggs) with fillings like cheese and veggie OR an omelet that is a hardened scrambled eggs and things that is folded or thrown on the plate. If you want a the first kind of omelet go somewhere else. If you want whatever they called this mess resembling an omelet this is your place. The pancake was okay, but they serve it with fake syrup making it not really that good. My toast tasted like it had mold somewhere in the bag. Maybe they make better lunch or dinner items but if you can’t get this right do you really need my money? That being said if you are a person who likes fast service and a quick bit, they have that covered! Super fast service and everyone was very kind. (Ps: Sorry for the blurry quality of my picture)
Apparently currently under some kind of renovations/changes. Beware their floor cleaning times and procedures! If you have any allergies or sensitivities, you will likely be highly adversely affected as products used in floor cleaning machine are highly allergenic: eyes, nose, throat, mouth, breathing, skin irritations. Suggest owner/managers find less toxic products to use and ask cleaner to not work in areas actually occupied by patrons. One can only imagine how badly staff who are subjected to this on a regular basis are faring, let alone the cleaner who is up close and personal with both the machine and the products!
Ordered a chicken pot pie and a side salad. Side salad was ok. Worst pot pie I have ever eaten. Every time I thought I had a chunk of chicken it was a chunk of potato. The gravy, tasted like raw flour, with little flavor. Instead of being a pie, you had a slab of philo dough on top I have a pile gravy. The service was good but the food was basically tasteless. The college kids can have this restaurant. I would never return.
I definitely do NOT recommend ordering take out or online. This is the second time our order was done wrong, and there will not be a third. The first time was a call in order, My hubby ordered sausage and didn't get it. So today I did the order online. He asked for no butter on the toast, it was buttered and asked for grits instead of potatoes, he got potatoes. I ordered sourdough toast, they were out so they subbed rye. Sourdough is an upcharge, no adjustment on the bill. They ask for phone number and email, so why didn't they reach out and ask what replacement I wanted? The food is fine but service makes our brakes you. I feel they're broken.
I have been a happy customer of Palace Diner since 2021. Tonight just sent the reputation of the establishment to the ground for me. Tonight myself and seven friends decided to enjoy our evening chatting over a meal from the diner, the food was OK for the most part. Three bites into my order of a classic burger and I’m pulling a hair out of the meat… I alert my server; she is a charm. Excellent service great energy, really keeping the atmosphere friendly and inviting. She replaces my meal and we all finish our food. She brings us our check that comes out to about $140. We ask if we can split it six ways, because two people are being covered by two separate people. Our group of eight make our way to pay (for context we are all teens 17 years, 18 being our oldest. We are BROKE). My food was fifteen and some change. I tried to tip 2 dollars and my card declined. I then tried 1.50 and it went thru. I don’t believe just anyone deserves a stellar tip, because no they don’t. But when I have an opportunity to give money to a dedicated server, I do. I think the group in total paid around 5 dollars in tips. Again we’re broke… We all pay and are getting ready to leave when all of a sudden another employee we had no interaction with stops us, positioning himself in front of my friends trying to leave and asks why we “didn’t take care” of our server, I explained everything as I did here, “broke, teens, had to split checks and be covered”, our server then walks by and starts complaining about our measly tip and continues to whine and weep over it. “It’s Christmas time and I gave you a $140 dollar bill I deserve at least $35!” WITH THE MOST ATTITUDE I HAVE EVER HEARD FROM A SERVER! And continues to criticize us while her coworker scolds us about the tip as well. We ALL explained at this point that we are so broke some people could not PAY FOR THEMSELVES. After realizing how serious everyone in the establishment was being over this, we just walked out. I do not agree with tipping culture. I do tip when it’s deserved and when I CAN. Tonight I could not. If you NEED 25% of what we paid to make your shift worth it, you are unfortunately in the wrong profession. I’m not one to just judge people’s situations, but clearly this woman judged us and expected a group of 17/18 year olds to give out a band like Mr Beast. Palace Diner needs to do better in training their employees in service and maybe raise their pay.
Stopped by around 1pm and it was half full. We ordered 2 breakfast and 1 lunch plates. I ordered the eggs Benedict with sausage and my daughter ordered grilled portobello and Brie Panini. The panini had no actual Brie, just a slimy spread of what they called Brie. The mushrooms were disgusting and not grilled at all. My eggs Benedict was raw and the whites were running. When I showed the waiter, he became rude and annoyed. He took both of our plates back. My daughter got mac and cheese instead and it was good. Mine came back out with overcooked poached eggs on top of the raw eggs. It was disgusting. The waiter never came back after delivering my plate. We never got any refills either. It was over $50 for bland, undercooked, greasy food. I used to love this diner but I will never go back.
Problems. Slow service, atmosphere was a let down. More mom & pop inside looks compared to the 50s diner outside. Food was average. Nothing great, not awful. Paninis, and burgers specifically say on menu they come with a pickle spear on the side. 7 people. None of us got pickles. Reasonable prices

So disappointed, I decided not to post it on Facebook. I unfortunately lost hope in my fav diner.. not to mention after this was discovered I could only look around and wonder how many people didn’t look down at that bite… UGH. I actually ate the food went to put more hot sauce and this ROACH was staring me downnnn. I was traumatized, the owners comped the meal swore they didn’t know where it came from but they don’t fly so idk…. Just pay attention to your food.
I came here this morning on December 5th I had such an horrible experience!! The staff is very rude and they need to be fired especially the short old Mexican lady who runs the counter or whatever. She’s very rude!!!!! I ordered an egg platter and asked for my eggs over easy. When my server brought us our food, I season everything and then I start inspecting my egg because I can literally see the eggs whites aren’t cooked one bit. I cut it in half all you see is white snots coming out. I was completely disgusted, did not want it fixed and just wanted to go home after couldn’t even enjoy the meal I just had ordered. When I went up to the counter to pay, the Mexican lady told me that’s what I ordered. No matter if I order my eggs over easy or over medium my EGG WHITES SHOULD ALWAYS BE COOKED! The lady was just rude about it going back and forth with me telling me I’m wrong, if I order over easy eggs it’s suppose to have snotty whites. This lady was mad because I was mad over my raw uncooked eggs arguing with me about that’s how it’s suppose to be and I should have ordered scrambled eggs. My egg whites should have been fully cooked no runny or snotty whites no matter how I ordered them. Every time I come here I spend $100+ my other experiences have been great but this morning was such an horrible experience I will not ever come back here again and for your staff to tell me I’m wrong about something I know I’m right about is crazy. She needs to be fired because she was actually rude for no reason and rude first.
They don't keep the food warm if you order from a delivery app. I wanted an hr and a half for my food, which I understand isn't their fault, but you can tell the food sat on the counter. I ordered am omelette with fruit. The fruit is sweating and warm, the toast is soggy, the eggs are dried out, and it's 85 degrees today. The person on the phone said "we did our part" and was very rude. I used to love this place, but it's not the first time I've been given attitude on the phone. If there's no one to deliver the food, it's not hard to keep it warm. Other places do, and they don't give disrespect.
Last 2 experience has been horrible. First order was a bacon burger and potato skins asked for well done burger...burger was still pink in the center and potato skins were burnt. Second order asked for french toast supreme given plain french toast. I use to love this place but doubt I will eat here again
I ordered my food through grub hub at 1:50. The first issue I ran into was that there was a creepy homeless person loitering outside at 2am. The other issue is I ordered over Grubhub and my order was ready at 2:16 however they failed to click order done on the app. This wouldn’t have been to big of an issue since I was in store and asked them multiple times for my order with name however, the person on duty failed to observe that my order was right in front of him until the manager at 3:00am gave me my order after consistent nagging. After this my sandwich was all soggy I got the Mac N Cheese rib melt sandwich which is very good just terrible when the bread is water logged, I threw 80% away. This overall was an unfortunate experience which I was very disappointed in the service of this diner. I would recommend ask multiple times for your mobile order because the employees struggle with managing the app.
Overall, I was quite disappointed with my experience here and I did not even have the worst experience among the people in my party. I'd like to preface by saying that my server was a super kind and pleasant person who definitely made this lackluster experience better. It started from the very beginning- we had to ask three times just to get water because the busboy was not bringing them over for some reason. My food was average at best. I got the Yankee pot roast, which was extremely average. The potato pancakes were bland and had no taste; the meat, beets, and vegetables were just okay. However, I had a friend who ordered a grilled cheese that not only did not have melted cheese in the sandwich, but also hair in his sandwich. That is gross and makes me question what other health violations are going on back in the kitchen. In addition, I was overcharged by $20 which only reflects the lack of quality control in this establishment. Do better.
I barely have words for this experience after what me and my boyfriend experienced today on 6/6/23.. we went for a late breakfast and he ordered the French toast supreme and I ordered a Belgian waffle with chocolate chips inside, the same exact order I ordered on 6/1/23. After getting my food and realizing my waffle wasn’t what I ordered I let my waitress know and she was happy to fix it, she took it to the owner where he quickly dismissed her and let her know that they don’t “make the waffle that way”. She returned to the table and relayed the message to me where I quickly replied with “but I ordered the exact thing a few days ago and it was great?”. She took the waffle back and I waited with no response for about 15 minutes. The owner then approached our table to let me know that whoever made my waffle on 6/1 was in incredible trouble because they don’t make the waffles with chocolate chips in them, giving me a whole spiel about how it would cost him a ton to replace waffle makers. Having heard enough I was ready to just leave at that point when my waffle finally reached the table it was incredibly burnt and absolutely disgusting. I was also charged an extra $3 for chocolate chips without being told I was being charged for so. I’ve worked in the restaurant business as a waitress for almost 10 years and I would be mortified if this is how I treated any of my customers let alone an owner of a restaurant treating me in such ways. Worst experience ever and I definitely won’t be returning ever again to palace diner. You could absolutely tell our waitress was embarrassed by the actions of her boss.
Friendly server, but she shared her frustration with other staff with our table (unprofessional). I heard cursing from staff, and we had our children with us for dinner. Water glasses were dirty, and it makes me question the cleanliness of the kitchen and freezers. And my food was not fresh. Lettuce was discolored and old. Potatoes used for fries we bruised. Only good thing was the taste of the food. Burgers tasted good, but patties were frozen. Disappointing experience
The food depends on what you order. The mozerella sticks are very dry and so is the chicken parm. The chicken parm does not have enough sauce with it and it’s mostly bread and not enough chicken, the chicken is a very thin slab. The patty melt used to be my favorite thing here, but now instead of making the patty by hand, they use a frozen patty from some company the same one used in the burger. The avocado chicken sandwich was good it just needed more avocado. Will continue to try new things to substitute how much I miss the patty melt. For the price of the food and what I’ve gotten so far recently it’s not that great. It could be better. Update review Tried chicken salad sandwich which tasted like nothing, very dry. All I tasted was the lettuce. And this time the fries were awful, tasted like the cheap crispy fries. Not ordering again unless I have to
Asking for a small bag for the take out and the guy who must be the owner was very rude and refused. Why is the restaurant so mean? They think the customers are just stupid?
104.00 for a patty melt , French toast and a single Pattie cheeseburger . 3 sodas 2 slices of cheesecake and one coffee add tip 20% 121.00 !!
Asked for steak cooled medium for take out when i arrived home this is what I received. BURNED CHARCOAL DISGUSTING. I called them immediately and they told me i need to drive back and return it ! I live across the bridge 25 mins away and its 2 AM in the morning!!!! They then said “oh well too bad”… I said i could return it tomorrow at a normal time and they said okay but was very reluctant! The manager working was JOHN! I will not ever be returning to order food here again. They officially lost a good customer
Very disappointed for the turkey dinner on Thanksgiving day. Actually was cold everything was salty including the Manhattan clam chowder soup. Obviously plates were sitting in kitchen longer before being served. The service was fine. The food was not. I always enjoyed the food from palace over the years but this day was very disappointing. Will I eat there again..of course..but not for a holiday meal. Did I complain to waitress...no..much to busy .
I’m going to be completely transparent — if it weren’t for my wife, I would’ve walked out from the start. The older waitress with glasses was extremely rude while taking our order, which set the tone for the whole visit. My wife wanted to stay, so we did… and I really wish we hadn’t. I ordered the French toast combo with over-easy eggs. What came out was disappointing — the eggs were ice cold, and the French toast looked like it had been tossed on the griddle for five seconds — still soggy and raw in the middle. My wife’s eggs were also cold. For the prices they’re charging, you’re much better off heading down the road to Ever Ready or grabbing a fresh bagel from one of the local shops. Unfortunately, Palace Diner has gone downhill — not just in food quality, but in what matters most: service.
As soon as we arrived, we were treated as if we were an annoyance. Very negative atmosphere. Received watery hot chocolate And sent it back. Waiter confessed that the girl in the back had told him to put in a half a packet in it. When I received the second hot chocolate, it had a strange smell like somebody had poured perfume in it. I refused to drink it. Then our order came. My guest and I had ordered the same thing. His portion was twice as much as mine. Very disappointed. I had been going there for decades. You lost a customer. Actually, two customers.
Went with my family and it was okay. My son ordered off the kids menu which came with a dessert. Waitress asked what kind of ice cream he wanted. We told her and she came back with the wrong flavor. She never came back for us to tell her. So as we were leaving I asked the gentleman who was at the front register if we could swap out and get the correct thing my son ordered. The man got rude and rolled his eyes, he then took the dessert from me without saying a word, went to the kitchen and came out with an empty container. I watched where he got the dessert from to make sure he didn’t do anything to it. He then came back handed it to me without saying a word or apologizing or anything. As I asked if there was a problem that I asked for the correct dessert he proceeded to walk away and ignored me. Absolutely unprofessional! I’m sorry but your server messed up the order and then you are going to be rude and nasty to a paying customer?. Not impressed!
Went in today for breakfast on my day off. Food was literally brought out within. 2 minutes. Toast was barely toasted asked waitress how it came out so fast. Was told it was slow. 10:45am. The sausage was luke warm the the eggs were luke warm to cold and hash browns were little hard. I sent it back because I didn’t want to get sick. Sent it back, the sausage was Luke warm however the rest of the meal was hot. Within an hour eating been running back n fourth to bathroom, been going on now 2 plus hours. I called to speak to the owner. He said said he remembered my order and that he prepared my plate after I returned the first one. Told me he has no problem with food quality. I said I beg to differ. He didn’t seem to care one bit. I work in food and know food has to be cooked to 165 degrees and maintained at least 140 degrees. The first plate was definitely not maintained properly. I have eaten there before and always thought it was good place. After today would never ever go back. To future customers beware. I don’t like to leave negative reviews and think this is my 3rd negative review of a business and I’m over 50. I can understand a lot but this was just sloppy this morning and no care for the customers well being when I was served my first plate.
!!!!!!!MUST READ!!!!! I’ve been coming and ordering from this dinner for years never had any issues and my family and I genuinely enjoyed it. But today I call mind you I called and ordered 3 days just fine and TODAY Tysean decided to tell me I can’t substitute my potato’s for bread. I have an allergy to potatoes in which I explained he gave me no options for substitution was playing as if he was the owner and just very dismissive. The service was POOR. Especially for someone who orders there at least twice a week or more. Im taking my business elsewhere where. Or order in the mornings when he’s not on the floor .
The quesadilla was edible the French onion soup was bitter and I couldn't finish eating it the sandwich which looks delicious but it's as hard as a rock. The second picture is a side of Mac and cheese it doesn't even look bad but it was totally inedible even by 2 - 16 year old boys that eat everything. Service was awful, no one checked to see how the food was, couldn't get a refill of water to choke down what we tried eating. Went to the register to speak to the manager met the lady that said she was pretending to be the manager that evening and I told her that I wasn't going to pay for the macaroni and cheese that was totally inedible took almost an hour to get a check so we could leave and on hindsight I should of left a five on the table for the dried up baked potatoes that was the only thing eaten for dinner which I didn't take a picture of
