This McDonald's is quick when expediting through the drive through. They are really friendly, too. The best part is their prices are the best compared to other locations and franchises. They usually are in the same price range as the promotions advertised on TV like the $1 coffee for any size and fountain drinks. The location is convenient, too. It's on Route 32 that sends you to all places.

Has the best cut through for 5 corners. Also, staff is weirdly extra courteous. Pretty sure they ALWAYS have to respond with "My pleasure" after every interaction. Used their app to order ahead of time and have them bring out food yet it takes about 7-9 minutes after you arrive. Then used the app and went through drive thru, didn't save me any time. They tell you to pull in the parking spot and wait. The only benefit to using the app is to accrue points. Time-wise it's slower than just going through the drive thru. Also, best cut through.

This location has never disappointed me. Friendly, wholesome, and importantly, fast service late at night when you need that pick-me-up. I got the wrong sauce tonight but I'll let it slide, I have my own sauce at home. I appreciate the fact there are still decent locations, I have been disappointed more than satisfied over my year of visiting locations on the road through CT and NY.

Their indoor dining setup is quite small, and geared towards kiosk self-service. As a fast food chain, they prioritize drive-thru customers, especially during peak hours. However, walk in service is friendly, location seems new and everything looks very clean.

I am NEVER blown away by service from McDonald's, this was a first for certain. The location was clean and the staff was friendly, polite and efficient. I was blown away, had to double check and make sure I didn't pull into their "chicken competition" that is known for their service and "my pleasure". Yeah, the service was that good.

Went late around 11pm and the staff was so kind. Both girls at the window were very pleasant and not rude like many other locations. And the food was fresh and great. Thank youuuu

Was a good McDonald's before. However, with the new remodel, this place has reached McDonald's perfection. Orders come out quick and efficiently, there's a new order interface, and the drive through was completely revamped with more, accessible entrance points (which, if nothing else, helps one skip the light.)

I don't know if they have a new Big Mac maker, but this is the 2nd time I've been to this one and it's been excellent. I haven't been to McDonald's in many years and I had a Mac Attack recently. I had one at another location and it was disappointing, so I was not satisfied. I tried again at another location...eh, I thought "I guess they aren't what I remembered.". But yet, still craving and I tried this location...yes!! So just to make sure it wasn't a one off, tried again YES! KEEP WHOEVER IS MAKING THE BIG MAC AROUND NOON .. GIVE THEM A RAISE!😀. Oh and my fries were hot and crispy both times! I think this location alone won me back!

Hands down the best McDonald’s I ever been too, I’m amazed how their food is always foot and fresh. Nuggets always crispy and fries never stale. Husband ordered online to pick up by the curb. It was a big order so we thought it was gonna take a while but they were very fast, food looked really good and it was the very first time I saw a BigMac so well put together. Employee forgot straws but he let us know right away and ran to get us what we needed. We left very happy.

The food is exactly what you expect from a McDonalds. I wish they weren't always in such a rush to get people through the line because i feel like I always have to "pull over into spot 1" every time I go, regardless of order (unless it's at like 2am). Atmosphere is fine, but McDonald's now feel so clinical and sterilized. I miss the playplaces, the outdoor seating, etc. I feel we've lost so much character for the sake of efficiency and I don't think that's always the best move. Just looking at the picture that shows up for this McDonald's makes me miss the old days.

The customer services was excellent!!!. The food was hot & yummy,I enjoyed the double fillet o' fish!😁 The sweet sauces ie.grape & strawberry jam...need getting used to...I am not a fan.😅 However the ranch sauce is delicious!!!!😃

I have been frequenting this location for quite a while now and I have to comment the crew. They are consistently exceptionally friendly and helpful. The service is quick and orders are always correct. I don’t normally review fast foods locations but I felt compelled to shout out this outstanding group.

Selena (I really hope I am getting her name right) is one of the best workers here. I am not sure if she's a manager or not, but if she is, she really deserves it. Very, very professional, courteous, and kind. And, she always has a smile on her face. She is the kind of person that makes you want to come to McDonalds--besides the food. She is a wonderful person. I hope she stays there for a very long time.

I love the McDonald's at five corners in Vails Gate- it's the best. I use the APP, so drive thru and curbside pickup is a breeze; I've never been inside. The food is always hot and fresh, as it's a very busy place, and the employees are all exceptionally friendly and fast.

It was an OK experience. This location is very small and I think understaffed at the time. Nothing was bad, but staff appeared frazzled and service was slow.

Drive-thru was fast the lady behind the mic what sweet, jolly and made you feel welcome and happy to help you. They are open 24 hours.

Pretty nice staff, great Mobile service. 1 complaint is they often mess up an order. (When I ask for no ketchup, I get ketchup with no pickle).. 2 out of 5 times they mess up the Iced Caramel Mocha.

The location was very clean, and their Wi Fi worked. Considering I travel for work, I visit several McDonald's restaurants a month. There seemed to be too much unneccessary negative energy when ordering my meal with a staff member or asking for refills of coffee. If that amount of energy was poured into caring for your customers this location would be awesome.

I have been taking my kids to this McDonald's for years. Since the time it has been remodeled, it no longer has a playground for children. Most times, I pass through drive through now so my rating is based on food and price. Food always comes out nice and hot but this location is a bit pricey.

Normally they are very nice given this MCD is always packed. This morning it was very slow the service and barely any customers. I placed my order through the mobile app, and still had to wait an extra 10-15 for hash browns to be ready.

This McDonalds has come a long way. I had gone there as a kid when the front area was a metal playground and Long John Silvers was next door within walking distance. This particular place has some of the nicest staff I've encountered at a fast food store. The food is always good and fresh. I don't often feel like I'm waiting too long to get my food. The only down side is the entrance off of 94 isn't very easy to integrate into the drive thru line. Its awkward. Likewise, pulling out to leave means you have to turn right and find a spot to turn around if you plan on going back. I also find being told to drive up to the second window or park is a bit odd. I understand they have to get the lines moving faster but I feel bad for the employees who have to risk getting hit by people driving fast to leave. Over all it's a great place to go to when I jack up dinner or feel a bit lazy to cook.

Update: been back plenty of times, and food and service is always on point. Nice for a McDonald's. Clean on the inside, and the food came quickly. They were quick to take our order, and the staff were friendly. (the same cannot be said for all McDonald's locations)

Overall a very nice place. I used to go here before it was torn down and I loved it. It got rebuilt and now it's better than ever. As always, that McDonald's taste you love. I think this one in particular stands out, however, just because of how good their service is. If there were no screw-ups I would give this a 5, but sadly there have been instances where the order was mixed up. This review was based on the drive-in experiences. 4/5, or 4/-7. As Always, Stay Awesome.

I Grew up going to this McDonald’s and I will forever remember it as the Small Building I would get most of my Inspector Gadget and Monsters Inc Happy Meal Toys, I Returned back for a few days and I decided to get breakfast and boy did it taste like Childhood the Sausage Biscuits and Hash browns were so Good that I wanted to stay all day, I definitely recommend going there especially for Breakfast.

Offers only drive thru. Parking is available for both dine in and drive thru. I prefers fish burger. It will take extra time so I used to park opposite to drive thru, they will deliver to the car. I didn't like the fresh fries. Very bad quality. They should focus on improving quality.

I've given up on going here. If I've had a long day and need to grab something quick late at night, I've occasionally stopped here (as well as a few random times during the afternoon). The wait time here is absolutely ridiculous. I can't count how many times I've sat waiting for 5-10 minutes before even placing my order, and subsequently went down the road to Wendy's or Burger King where there either was no line or a very quick moving line. Even at 11pm, plan on a good 10 minute wait from start to finish just to get a couple of burgers and fries. The food does come out hot and the order is usually pretty accurate. But the wait times are painfully slow here.

The kids still like their Happy Meal, but they do not stock any of the foods I would usually orider, i.e. salads or yogurt parfait. (Since I need gluten free meals and prefer to avoid fried foods, this is a ZERO for me during Covid)

My first time using their auto ordering kiosk. My guess is less people.,cheaper costs. I miss the personal connection.. My lunch was simple. Small black coffee and 4 chicken nuggets. Coffee was going the chicken was tasteless..guess I will skip Mickey D's and go back t a cage where I can get a good bowl of soup. The food was good. But the service was beyond slow. I was the only customer their and waited 10 minutes from the time I ordered to the time the food was handed to me. This place recently opened and it was my first time going through the drive thru at this location. It was around 5am on my way to work.

It did the job and that's about it. I had to go inside to use the restroom. When I went to order, the young man informed me that they no longer took a card at the register and I had to use the kiosk. It made a simple hamburger and fries into a much bigger production.

Fast food isn't very fast and when ordering from drive-thru you never get your food at the window. They make you pull into a parking spot and bring you the food and sometimes item's are still missing from order.

When ordering the new chicken sandwich make sure you get what you want. There are 3 different ones to pick from however when asked if I'd like to try the new sandwich i was never told i had a choice. When i got home I opened the sandwich to find 2 small pickle slices chicken patty in between 2 buns. That's it! Also the food was cold. I live 1 minute up the street. Usually they are good but this was unacceptable.

We got a medium fry and they literally gave us no fries at all.

I often find it difficult to rate chain retaurants as the food quite obviously doesnt tend to vary much from location to location. Nonetheless the food was delivered warm and fresh and I had no complaints with the friendly staff. This store itself was recently rebuilt from the ground up with a heavy emphasis on the drive thru with miltiple lanes to speed up service. They suceeded there. The interior however is another matter. If your a fan of bland, colorless hard plastic and tile surfaces, this place if for you. Its about as antispetic in appearance as could be and about as appealing to eat in as a hospital corridor. My best theory is McDonalds is attempting to cut costs by discouraging folks from staying and to get them out of the door as fast as possible. From this perspective, they suceeded with flying colors.

The daytime shift is awesome..... especially the shift manager. The afternoon/ evening is something to be desired. The afternoon / evening shift occasionally gets the order wrong but always fills the large fry box only halfway. If you want a full fry box and your order right .... get your lunch early before day shift goes home.

Staff didn't want to make fresh fries because they were cleaning up. It was 7pm!! Fries are always luke warm at pretty much every visit. Food is never hot. Some staff is friendly while some aren't. Only go there occasionally because it's the closest one.

I come to this McDonalds all the time since it is close to home. But lately, since they have hired new staff, I haven't had good experiences. This was the 2nd time I was rudely cut off by the drive thru employee with my total when I wasn't finished ordering. I ordered a large Coke, a large sweet tea, and a kids meal with apple juice. my receipt showed the large Coke under the kids meal and the apple juice charged separate, which was an 59 cents more than the coke if it had been rung up properly. Which wouldn't be a big deal, except that I didn't even receive the juice...

Of the McDonalds in our area, this one is the worst. I know it is a high traffic shop but so are Montgomery and Chester and they get things right. We were shy one ten piece Chicken nuggets and a juice box. The manager Cindy swore she put it in the bag with a filet of fish sandwich. Showed her the bag and gave her the receipt. Guess I am a nugget thief. Did get the nuggets finally but not the juice box. Was going to mention the apple pie they charged me for last week and forgot to include.Think we will not visit this McDonalds for a while. Maybe they will send Cindy the manager back for customer service training.

They are pushing using the kiosk to order your food. I'm old school. I like to interact with a person. They should drop the big off of big Mac and call it a Mac. The young man who helped us order and brought our food to the table was very nice. Parking stinks. Most of the close spots are reserved for those who are picking up orders. For those of us who want to eat in its a little dicey getting through the moving cars to the door. Don't think i will go there again. I will just add a few bucks and go to a diner and get food cooked fresh.

This place just reopened and it is supposed to be "new and improved".... well it is a little too new and improved. It seems cold and unwelcome when you walk into it so very much unlike the old place that used to be there. Will NOT be going back. I guess I will no longer be eating fast food or will have to wait to see what is being built across the street.

Long wait times and you never get the right order. I just arrived home with my “big breakfast with hotcakes” only there’s no hotcakes or sausage. Only eggs and a biscuit.

Tried using free fry deal at kiosk, kiosk would not let me order unsweetened iced tea so cashier moved me to cashier and wouldn't give me the free fry deal unless I wait a d for 15 minutes. Now I'm going to Wendy's

I honestly can't complain about this McDonald's enough... got a full year it had beef a fiasco to sub the protein for chicken on the Sausage McMuffin. Sometimes I get it right away... it's so easy. Sub the protein, but others like today I wait 40 minutes only to get the wrong sandwich and rude interaction. Really it isn't rocket science and the manager (who's also a rude person) should offer consistent training to her team or learn something herself.

Cashier confused on how to make change, fries were cold, vanilla shake watery. This location has gone very downhill since the renovations. Staff is poorly trained and service/food entirely subpar. Go at your own risk. This is to be a fine McDonald's. That is no longer true

Do not be fooled by the newly renovated McDonald's. I have been a customer there for years and it seems the service went from bad to worse. The staff there provides terrible customer service, and always mess up on the meal orders. The staff is rude and always act like they do not want to be there. Also, the lines are always long for no reason. The owners needs to fire the so called supervisors and managers there and bring in experienced professionals.

Slowest "fast food" place you'll find. Twice in the past 2 weeks I've waited over 10 minutes in the drive-thru for a simple egg mcmuffin! It's quicker to go to a deli and get one fresh-made.

In the last month this location had taken a downturn as well. New lady at the drive thru doesn't listen to what you're ordering. And the once delicious iced coffee, now tastes like absolute trash from this location. It's also a lot less busy from what I've seen as well. Ownership must be thrilled with rising cost of operation to partner with loss in customer volume. Not impressed, disappointed at best. The best French Vanilla iced coffee you can get from a McDonald's. They crush every other mickey d's in a 40 mile radius. They have the magic touch. Yum!

This place is terrible I went through the drive through. The asked me to pull off to the side I waited for 10 minutes and every car that came after me got their food and left. I went inside and the Manger told me the girl.just went out with my food. I go outside the girl with food doesn't have my food. I went back inside the manager shows me the same food the girl outside had that wasn't mine. I asked for a refund. After I got the refund the manager offered me the incorrect order for free. The next day my wife's card was recharged for the incorrect order that the manager offered to us I never asked for it. Will never stop here again ever.

Went to the drive through for lunch after shopping at Woodbury common outlets on our way back home to Montreal. My daughter had chicken nuggets and was vomiting by the time we arrived in Montreal after a 5 hour drive. Word of advice, be sure to check that chicken is thoroughly cooked before eating… on a positive note, the fries were excellent, hot and crispy out of the fryer!

Staff member refused to check out at the register, went over to the kiosk, "must order here.". I said "I want to pay cash.". She said "mobile app.". I said "cash" and held out a $20; her reply "no, mobile app.". Limited time for a lunch break, and too much of a headache to argue. Said "Forget it, I'll buy lunch elsewhere.". Not sure if I'll try this location anytime soon...

Anytime you go inside it’s a disgrace. I can’t talk to a human and order. They send me to a machine for the machine to send me back to a human. And funny enough the machine didn’t work and I had to add stuff on at the counter. This is a disgrace for a huge corporation. However the drive through service is great

Beware if you come in looking to pay with cash, they will not let you. Came with a family of 6 and they wouldn’t even cash us out at the register and told us we can only use the kiosk and pay with card.

25 minutes wedding in the Drive-through parking lot is not the experience I wanted for 3 items. The gentleman bringing out the food was rude and a apologetic about the food not being out when 4 of the people got their orders and left. He blamed it on the cook and said that he only delivers

Well I won't be coming here EVER again. Long story short they completely messed my order up (myself and 3 children). After sending me into a parking space to complete my order the associate brought out an incomplete order. Because of that and the long wait time I cancelled my order. She said she was sorry and I told her it wasn't her fault. She took back the food and the receipt and said she would have the manager refund my credit card. Well after several weeks my account hasn't been refunded. It's real nice how a big company like McDonald's treats it's customers. So instead of doing their job I have to go and fight them to get my money back.

Terrible I can't even give them a star for anything!! The worst McDonald's in the USA! Always something wrong with my drive t through orders for over 20 years, just 2 days ago. I got an egg sandwich with sausage halfway through almost threw up. Because the eggshells, I can't believe it never, ever will I get breakfast there.

Just came back from Macdonald's on Route 32 in New Windsor, NY. Order #: 1300. They forgot my 3 hash browns. Usually I check but got a call from my pharmacy. Just went thru twice bc they gave me the wrong order. I order a diet coke & a burger no pickle. Got a dr pepper & fries. Went back abf explained. Then got a regular coke and a burger w pickle. 20 minutes of my time wasted.

Literally the worst McDonalds I have ever been too. Workers charge you for sauce than refuse to give you so said sauce. On top of that the management team is utterly useless never met a more incompetent staff anywhere else. Refused to refund me for an order that they messed up and I couldn’t eat. They demanded that the only soulless for me to drive all the way back out there so they can see if it is refunded. Seems like they need to learn how to do there job and actually listen to what customers ask for.

Slower than snails. It takes at least 15 minutes to even get cups to get drinks and if you use the drive thru you are always told its not ready and have to move over to a spot. Mcdonald's is not worth it anymore. It's faster and cheaper to go to a real restaurant and get real food.

Food was great if we actually got what we ordered. My mother order was a quarter pounder, they gave her a double cheese. I asked for a spicy McCrispy sandwich and they gave me a regular. They would refuse to take orders at the register and dragged us to the kiosk. I have a girlfriend who works at McDonalds. It's a lie that the register doesn't take orders anymore. She takes orders at the register all the time everyday. They also had a person walking around table to table asking if we needed anything like it was a 5 star restaurant. Also asked us 3 times if we needed anything. We were there for 10 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous

I was ordering the 2$ mc nuggets and I believe her name was kaligaaa During my visit to McDonald's, I had an extremely disappointing experience with one of the employees. From the moment I approached the counter, they were rude, dismissive, and unwilling to provide basic customer service. When I asked a simple question about the menu, they sighed loudly and rolled their eyes, making it clear that they had no interest in helping. Their tone was unprofessional, and they even made a sarcastic remark, which was completely unnecessary. As a paying customer, I expected to be treated with respect, but instead, I felt like an inconvenience. The lack of courtesy and professionalism was shocking, and it ruined my entire experience. Employees should be held to a higher standard when it comes to customer interactions, and this behavior was completely unacceptable. I sincerely hope McDonald’s addresses this issue, because no customer should be made to feel disrespected in such a manner.
