This bustling bagel shop packs people in and out for big delicious bagel sandwiches. Midtown prices are no objects for those lining up for all flavors and coffee, probably because the bagels are big and delicious and the line moves efficiently. It’s a real New York feeling, tourists and all, with a combination of all ages and backgrounds ready for the classic breakfast take. I had the smoked salmon special on everything untoasted, scooped with scallion cream cheese. It was great - the ultra thin cucumbers meshed so well with the tomato. Untoasted came out faster, too; I walked out faster than I thought. It’s busy as heck, so enter and move to the left for the line. There are menus you can grab and read as you move. There are a few small tables in the back. Super well run by experienced staff.
Lots of bagel options and cream cheese options! Exactly what I was looking for! I had the rainbow bagel with apple cinnamon cream cheese. I absolutely loved the real apples in the cream cheese, it tasted like apple crisp! The portion sizes are huge!!
SO FREAKING GOOD!!! The staff is super sweet, the bagels are fresh and delicious, and the sandwiches are just *chef's kiss* I'm here visiting NYC, and the first morning I came in I grabbed a smoked salmon special sandwich. It was great, and hit the spot that hasn't had a proper smoked salmon bagel in years!!! I came the next morning for the fried bologna sandwich and a lox spread bagel. The fries bologna sandwich was really great!!!! As of this review, I haven't had the lox spread bagel yet, but I'm sure it's going to be just as good as everything else. I've also grabbed both a rose and lavender milk tea. Absolutely totally worth it, and their containers are great for traveling! Absolutely recommend coming here. Oh, and the lady working the counter gave me a free thing of bagel chips this morning! 15/10 will do breakfast again 🥰
I stayed just a couple of blocks from Bagel to Sandwich while visiting New York, and of course bagels were a must for breakfast. This was the closest spot with good reviews, so we decided to give it a try, and I was pleasantly surprised. We ended up loving it so much that we came back a second day for breakfast again. I was really impressed by the selection of bagels. There are so many different flavors and colors, including a special red and green Christmas bagel when we visited. They also have a huge selection of cream cheeses, including some really unique flavors like birthday cake and Oreo. Personally, my go-to is an egg everything bagel with vegetable cream cheese, and I was very satisfied. It may not have been the absolute best bagel I’ve ever had in New York, but it was still very good. On the second day, I considered getting a bagel with chicken salad, but when I saw it, it looked a bit watery and unappetizing, so I stuck with cream cheese again. My family was very happy with their choices as well. My sister got the rainbow bagel with strawberry cream cheese the first day and said it was amazing. The second day, she ordered an egg everything bagel with bacon, egg, and cheese and absolutely loved it. We also really enjoyed their milk tea. It comes in the cutest container and was very tasty without being overly sweet. We ordered milk tea both days because we liked it so much. The shop was not crowded at all around 8:30 a.m., and we got our bagels and drinks very quickly. The second day we went later, around 10:30 a.m., and it was extremely crowded. The line for ordering moved pretty quickly, but we did have to wait a bit longer for our food, and the small shop felt crowded while waiting. That said, it didn’t take away from how good the bagels were. They also sell an assortment of unique candy, and their pastries and cookies looked really good, though we didn’t get a chance to try them. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Overall, it was a really great experience, and if you’re in the Times Square area and need a bagel, I think this is your best choice.
Friendly staff and extremely helpful folks. The choices were too much honestly lol 😝 the bagels were great and absolutely filled with excess cream cheese. Recommend any of the bagels and coffee isn’t too bad. Chai wasn’t great and hot chocolate was also ok. But sandwiches and bagels and the sweet treats are good from this place.
Stumbled upon this absolutely amazing. Don’t knock the candy cane bagel with a plain cream cheese and M&Ms. Absolutely amazing. Freshly made bagels service was absolutely out of this world super friendly definitely a must when visiting. Can’t wait to stop here in the morning again before heading back to Florida
This place was so good that after we ate there the first morning of our trip, we ordered from there the second day! The Prime Chopped breakfast sandwich was incredible as well as the vegan Italian hero. My husband had the regular Italian hero and the chicken cutlet one and loved both as well. I also loved the butterscotch oat milk latte! The staff were friendly and welcoming and there are lots of cool chips and candy you can purchase as well. We wish we could take this sandwich shop hope with us!!
So many vegan options!!! I was honestly overwhelmed by the vegan options they had—from vegan meats to bagels, cheeses, and breads. I tried the muffuletta and it was amazing. The portion size is huge too; one sandwich can easily be shared between two people. The staff is friendly and the service is quick. Would highly recommend checking out their vegan options. It’s also walking distance from the Port Authority Bus Terminal.
Good sized, tasty sandwich options on bagels. I got the chicken club, which is breaded chicken (only half pictured). Inside, the place is fun looking and is like a mini convenience store with gum, candies, bottled and canned drinks, etc at the front. They also do drinks, so plenty of options and service was quick.
They have SO MANY vegan options! I had a vegan sausage, egg, and cheese sandwich on a pumpernickel bagel, and it was delicious - huge, too! The staff was very friendly, and the service was quick. Overall, a great experience. Edit: I went back today for vegan bacon and avocado on an everything bagel. It was also quite delicious!
This bagel shop is very cute and follows, I believe, BTS Korean boy band theme. The decor was cute, and they even have displays of their bagel sandwiches in a case- very helpful. All their cream cheese options are visible through a deli case, which is great to get a visual for what you’re getting. Their bagels are also on display. They have a huge menu that you can customize and modify to your liking. I got a pastrami salmon sandwich on a multigrain bagel with pickle cream cheese (don’t judge lol). It was huge, full, and very filling for a late breakfast/lunch. My husband got an onion and steak sandwich on sourdough bread, which he loved. For a dude like him I think it wasn’t big enough to “stuff” him, but left him satisfied nevertheless. We got two iced lattes which come in really cute and unique cups. I tend to be picky with coffee flavor when I get a plain latte, and to my surprise this latte did not disappoint. The guy taking our order was kind and funny, which made the place all the better. I also got an almond croissant, and I will say it’s not my most favorite. I personally find value in a croissant when it is crispy, buttery, flaky, so flaky. This one was very almondy and definitely did not lack in the almond filling, but it was just a little bready and dry in my opinion. Very edible and tasty if you’re not picky, but definitely not French bakery type of croissant. The only downside was the lack of seating, and how easily the shop gets crowded while everyone waits for their order. If I’m not mistaken there’s only one table. We wanted a place to sit down and eat, so we had to scout for a nearby place that had seating. For two sandwiches and 2 iced lattes, and one almond croissant, it was $60. Overall, good experience and worth a try. They also have lots of other fun drinks, snacks, candy, and pastries available!
My brother and I needed something quick to eat for a late breakfast, so this was right by us. Read the reviews here and I agree: Excellent food, decent prices and quality service. Kept it simple with a sausage, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Coffee was good too! There’s not a whole lot of dining room space, so you’ll either have to take it to go or get lucky to find an empty table.
Really amazing flavors and unique options! I craved this the next day and would win the award as my favorite restaurant on my trip! I had the "pico de gallo" on a garlic bagel and my wife had the bacon egg and cheese on a salted bagel. Both were really great. Plenty of spread options and fun candies and sweet dessert bagels. I really want to try the french toast bagel with apple pie cream cheese spread. Cute design inside, very little sitting so plan to eat out.
Loved the vibe and the variety of bagels from this place. I had an as asiago bagel with blueberry cream cheese. My family had an egg bagel with avocado on an onion bagel. Both were yum delicious and perfectly melted in the mouth. Definitely a good breakfast place. It doesn't have a sit down area, so good to grab and go. Highly recommend.
Awesome bagel spot right by Port Authority. I got the Egg Everything bagel with Garlic and Herb cream cheese and an iced caramel latte which absolutely hit the spot. There is a lot of variety for what kind of bagel and cheese combination you want to put together. My group all enjoyed our breakfast here. Highly recommend :))
I was super impressed with all the vegan options here! I tried the Prime Cubano, it wasn’t on a baguette like it normally is and was more of a toasted sandwich than grilled but still packed with plant-based meats and tasty pickles. The staff were really friendly and the spot had a cozy vibe. I’d definitely come back to try more of their awesome vegan options!
Amazing experience at Bagel To Sandwich The bagels are outstanding. I highly recommend the blueberry, Asiago, and plain rainbow—each one has its own unique and delicious flavor. They offer a wide variety of bagels and cream cheeses, which makes it hard to choose just one. The quality is excellent, and I was truly impressed with how they served the iced coffee—they really know what they’re doing! Definitely a must-visit spot for any bagel lover.
Food was excellent. Bagel sandwich was delicious! Service was good. It’s crowded and lots of people come through in a short period of time so not everyone cleans up after themselves…
Since this bagel shop is located in Times Square, I was expecting a really lousy bagel. I had an Everything Bagel with Butter here and it was better than what I expected. It's a small and crowded spot (understandable given it's location).
This spot would be great if they sold real bagels. The Turkey bacon club sandwich had generous portions but was a bit pricey for what it was - the bagel was so dry and didn’t taste good. Anytime I’ve tried their bagels on their own, they are just inedible. It’s small space inside with about 2 tables that are usually filled. Staff is nice
