This is my 2nd/3rd time visiting Lenoxthai. I love coming here for my lunch break!! My 2nd time ordering from their lunch special: Shrimp pad thai with crispy spring roll and thai iced tea. Banana Fritters I opted for extra shrimp and bean sprouts to make it more filling. I have no complaints other than it being a bit more on the salty side for my liking. The portion size itself is decent. I personally don't love spring rolls so I would opt for ordering off the regular menu. You are only given thai iced tea or spring water for their lunch special but their other drinks are lovely as well such as the lychee sunrise. The Banana fritters were scrumptious! The portion was way too much for one. The banana was fried beautifully. It was tasted very fresh, crisp, and crunchy. I think it would have been better with a side of nutella/condensed milk/maple syrup. But even as is, I would get it again.
LenoxThai, a small casual restaurant with delicious Thai food, friendly and attentive staff and a cozy ambiance! I was walking past and decided to go in for some lunch . The Thai green curry with chicken came with lots of vegetables and steamed rice - very satisfying on a chilly afternoon. Will definitely go back!
This is such a great Thai restaurant! The flavors are authentic and fresh, and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming. Their Tom Yum Soup Noodle is absolutely delicious — perfectly tangy, spicy, and fragrant. It has become my go-to Thai food choice every time I’m craving something comforting yet full of flavor. Highly recommended!
Picked up twice this week. Pad Thai, pod see ew, fried rice, spring rolls— all delicious. Highly recommend
We randomly picked a spot for dinner tonight and landed at Lenox Thai Pop Up—and baby, we’re so coming back. The stew beef noodle soup? Gave me instant flashbacks to that legendary beef soup at Chatuchak Market we had years ago—except this one might’ve actually outdone it (yes, I said it!). The green curry, extra spicy, was a full-on flavor explosion. Not obsessed with the wontons, but still pretty decent. And let’s talk about the service—Kwan, the cashier, was an absolute gem. 10 out of 10 for the hospitality.
I had the curry dish and a hot Jasmine tea and they were delicious! The staff was so wonderful and so sweet! Totally would recommend and come here again!
Food is super good, and the portion size is just enough so thats its not too much. Would totally recommend to eat at basically any time :3
Food’s delicious. We particularly love the chive dumplings with their special sauce. Must try! Service is top notch as well. Will definitely come back if we are in the area :)
One of my favorite local Thai places - truly incredible. Everyone is also so nice.
Fantastic Thai!! We’ve been to Thailand and, thus far, this is the closest it’s gotten to what we experienced in Thailand. Very small inside so, make a reservation or expect a wait. Carry out is very much an option.
It’s my 3rd time here this week, always trying something new, the food is really really good and authentic and the stuff is absolutely great! I highly highly recommend:)
I absolutely adore this restaurant and highly recommend it. I ordered a mango avocado salad. Everything was perfectly ripe and tasted fresh. I appreciate how everything was clean and the server was sweet and attentive to our family's dining experience. The restaurant is small but it was honestly such a great experience. The air conditioner and fresh food was perfect for a long day of sightseeing.
We've been twice and had great meals both times. I think that venturing into the signature dishes is the way to go. They have a menu board that shows some of the dishes being prepped and I use it to plan my next meal. In our two visits, we enjoyed the Pad Krapow Gai Sub, Larb Gai and Tom Kha. Small restaurant, excellent service and amazing food. It is an easy recommend.
I took my uncle to have dinner at this place. He kept asking me why this place because we had to travel from West 29th st to East 66th st and why not just Thai restaurants around neighborhood. After the food came , he definitely knew the answer. I ordered Stew Beef khao Soi , Shrimp Pad Thai, Crab meat FR and my special thing Papaya salad added Kor Moo Yang what very delicious. If you want Authentic Thai food, highly recommended LenoxThai!
It was great experience here. But the only thing that put me off was when the gentleman at the front cashier forgot to give me my Thai iced tea after 10 minutes. Although, he has good customer service and always checked up on me if I needed anything else. Otherwise, everything was good. The food is tasty and fresh. I ordered the chicken pad Thai and I would order it again tbh. Would come again!
Lenox Thai is an absolute gem! Their Thai Iced Tea is perfectly balanced—sweet, creamy, and refreshing, with just the right amount of bold tea flavor. It’s the best I’ve had! The Pad Thai is just as impressive—flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. The noodles have a great texture, and the portion size is generous. Whether you like it mild or spicy, they get it just right. The service is always great—friendly, polite, and welcoming. The staff makes you feel right at home, adding to the wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend Lenox Thai for anyone craving authentic and delicious Thai food! Can’t wait to come back!
Stop everything and try their coconut pudding dessert. When I tell you, I DREAM of this dessert ever since I’ve had it, it haunts me. Served warm, so flavorful, it’s chewy but creamy. I’m obsessed.
I came in feeling so excited for some Thai Food and wasn't disappointed! I was greeted by Matt who is so kind and sweet and made me feel home.I ordered Pad Krapow Hai with Jasmin Rice. If you like hot 🔥 food that sure will satisfy the craving! Tasted great! I also had the curry puffs which were really big and so juicy ! Lenox Thai is a nicely and clean designed small place with some seating inside and some chairs and tables out in front. Give it a try!
FINALLY some good food in New York!! I’m a Registered Dietitian and love high quality food. I’ve tried countless restaurants in New York and the food always disappoints… until now! The curry puffs have a wonderful texture and the green curry is amazing! I ordered chicken and added extra veggies and there is so much color, texture and flavor. Everything is cooked to perfection! Still crispy! I ordered delivery so I can’t comment on the atmosphere.
The staff is amazing and the food is just as amazing as the ladies! We tried the pad thai and the fried rice and it was delicious. The prices are amazing too. I’ll definitely be back
This is my go to spot - a hidden gem of Upper East Side! You can’t beat their lunch special - pad see euw with beef / thai iced tea / choice of soup or spring rolls (2) for less than $20 The flavor is on point and simply delicious! Also: shout out to Penny! You will love her! She’s very attentive and very friendly’
I had the pad see ew and pineapple fried rice. Both delicious. Lunch special comes with spring rolls or soup and iced tea. Friendly service.
I was traveling through the area and this place was recommended to me by several locals. It was a super cute spot that was beautifully decorated for the holidays. I had the shrimp pad see ew lunch special and fresh rolls and both were delicious! The food came out quickly and the staff was very friendly. Great experience!
It’s a small quick place w only 4 tables. But the BEST food. Clean, flavorful- not overly goopey or spicey. Nice people and quick service. Wish they were next door to me- I’d be getting take out 3x a week!!
Small quiosk type place w only 4 tables. Clean, fast service. The food is delightful! Clean- really flavorful- and no goop or mega spicey. Wish I lived near here - I’d be eating this 3x/week!!
I always order for pick up and food is ready and waiting when I get there. Always packed very well and stays warm by the time I open and eat. Their lunch special is a very good rate. Food is amazing never had a bad meal or one I didn’t enjoy at all. Will definitely recommend as a great Thai food place. Will be ordering from here often while working in this area the next couple of weeks
Very fresh and flavorful Thai food. Everything came out hot from the kitchen. Options for every dietary need. I am vegan and ordered red curry with mock duck. 3 other guests with me ordered noodles and curry with chicken and beef. We also had curry puff and spring rolls which were excellent. Everyone was very satisfied. I really appreciate the attention to detail in service as well as the portion size and generous amount of protein in each dish.
It's a compact Thai restaurant. The food tastes very good. The amount of food is appropriate for the price. I like the wonton noodles of this restaurant. The wontons have a sesame oil aroma. The noodles are cooked just right, There is fresh crab meat. Sprinkle a little chili powder to add some spiciness for you on a cold and rainy day.
This place is a hidden gem!! Quaint seating and very cute decor. As a HUGE Thai enthusiast, this was some of the most delicious Thai food I’ve ever had. The pad kee mao and green curry had flavors I’ve never tasted before. Service was extremely quick and attentive. Also the lunch special is an absolute steal - $18 for an appetizer, main course, and a drink (including Thai iced tea!) Will probably be back here at least once a week!
Service was quick and food was excellent. Compared to similar Thai restaurants, the portion is considered very generous, especially the shrimp in the Penang curry that was unique in its pineapple and lychee usage. The Khao Soy bowl was large and delicious with a contrast of crunch. Highly recommend! Will be back again soon!
Lenox Thai in Manhattan is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the cozy and inviting atmosphere sets the tone for a great dining experience. The food is absolutely delicious — every dish is packed with authentic flavors and perfectly cooked. I highly recommend the lunch special which is an entree, Thai iced tea and two spring rolls, which were incredible. The service was also top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. Whether you’re dining in or grabbing takeout, Lenox Thai is a must-visit for anyone who loves Thai cuisine. I’ll definitely be back soon!
Wonderful Thai food. I always order the Pad Thai lunch special with Shrimp, comes with Thai iced tea and spring rolls. Portions are great and flavors are delicious. Only issue is that the seating area is really small but I’ve always been able to grab a seat. Atmosphere is great and service is wonderful. Highly recommend!
Very casual takeout place with a few tables for eat in. My wife and I ate there for lunch. We had crisp spring rolls, shrimp filled wontons and green papaya and avocado salad. Everything tasted great. Would definitely go back to sample Curries and soups. Service was quick and fast.
We went on a Saturday for lunch and had pineapple fried rice and one of the curries. The lunch menu was very good, it came with appetizers and Thai tea. The service was also very nice and fast. We will be back.
Cozy space with great food and excellent service! We had the fresh spring rolls, wonton soup, and crispy pork belly and it was all delicious. Exactly what we needed on a rainy day. Will definitely be back!
Such a wonderful little place. I’ve ordered numerous times as well as eating in person. The only minor complaint is that it is a super tiny shop, but the food is worth it. The food is always delicious and fresh. The owners and service staff are always so hospitable. Happy to support a local business! As long as I live here, I’ll be coming!
Amazing daily lunch special! Great value and taste. The chicken in the pad kee mao was perfectly cooked and not too dry at all, which is often a problem at Thai restaurants. Also very attentive service and you can just walk in without a reservation.
Delicious, fresh ingredients. Service was excellent, I enjoyed the stuffed steamed wonton which was filled with shrimp and chicken. I also had the pineapple fried rice w added shrimp. I dined in, this place is small yet mighty. Will return when in the area again. Recommend: Two thumbs up.
Lenox Thai is my go-to for cozy, homestyle Thai food. The flavors are vibrant, and the portions are generous for the price—it’s a real “bang for your baht!” :D You will probably get lost trying to choose your first dish, but fear not: everything on the menu is a winner! You can’t go wrong here.
The food at Lenox Thai is excellent. Do not sleep on this spot if you are in the area. All of your favorites are excellently prepared. The service is attentive but not intrusive. The music sets a really nice atmosphere. They hit on all of your senses. Stumbled across this spot and it was a remarkable overall experience. Highly recommend! I have shared a picture of what is left of my chicken satay.
Love everything about it. Food amazing! Staff, super friendly and kind. Food came out super fast and I honestly think I found my new favorite spot. Cozy small spot to have a wonderful meal.
Not everyone can nail the intricate flavors of the Thai food experience. This restaurant exceeded our expectations!! We had the Pad Kee Mao, Basil fried Rice(with shrimp). Both were flavorful, delectable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting (despite the tiny setting), as if sitting in your own grandmother's kitchen. Not to mention the staff was friendly and considerate with timely food delivery. We loved it so much we even ordered more food to go after dining in:)
Lenox Thai is a true gem for anyone seeking authentic Thai food. As a Thai person myself, I can confidently say the dishes here are incredibly delicious and taste just like a home-cooked meal in Thailand. The flavors are spot on and the ingredients are fresh. Beyond the fantastic food, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Whether you're a Thai food connoisseur or just looking for a wonderful dining experience, Lenox Thai is a must-visit.
We ordered the tom yum noodle soup and the Khao Soi, both of which were highly delicious! The tom yum noodle soup reminded me of the Chinese wonton noodle soups in the best way: a playful twist to classic Thai flavors. I will say that the space is quite small, so if you don’t get there early, you might be waiting a while. I also appreciated that their portions are quite generous: you will definitely not leave hungry after ordering an entree here!
Wow this place surprised me. I was looking for a Thai restaurant to eat at with my family and this spot blew me away. It is a small cozy little joint located at the bottom of the upper east side. Due to the size it is limited seating. Can possibly fit around 12 people or so. There's a nice little mural that someone painted. The menus on the TV are bright with clear pictures. I noticed they get plenty of door dash/Uber eats, etc. Our hostess was super sweet and caring. She attended to our needs and was very helpful. I had a question about what one of the dishes was and she looked it up on her phone to show me what it was. The food definitely blew me away. It was surprisingly good. We had the crispy spring rolls, classic fried rice(Chicken), pad Thai (chicken), and a mango avocado salad. The fried rice was amazing. I've always prefer Thai fried rice compared to other Asian fried rices. It didn't taste super greasy and it had the right amount of eggs and chicken and vegetables. The salad was perfectly riped. A great combo of mango and avocado with onions/cashews and an Asian sauce. Very fresh and delicious. The crispy spring rolls came in a set of 4. They tasted great are also a nice size, not too small. It was paired with a sweet chili sauce for dipping. The pad Thai was delicious 🤤 not too dry and just the right amount of oil. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The portion was a great size. I ended up taking the fried rice and pad Thai in a to go container. She was nice enough to box up the food for us. We also ordered Thai tea. It was the final piece of the puzzle to balance out the spicy meals. We definitely recommend this place. Everyone please try it. Would definitely try again if we're in the area.
Anotha Thai spot unlocked! Looking at their reviews, felt already inviting. There was a lot of good food from the photos posted and it did not disappoint! I had Fried Tofu Pad Thai, Spring Rolls and Thai Banana Fritters. Fried Tofu Pad Thai, perfect! Tasted like the real Pad Thai I had from visiting Thailand itself. Cause some restos either have them too greasy or too much in between. I opted for fried tofu with pad Thai since I have been wanting more protein in my food so perfect choice and good they have the choice in their menu for that. Spring Rolls, not the best spring rolls but it’s worth a try. Banana Fritters, freshly cooked and oh so good! The crispiness made it really good with the taste of coconut in it. Not too sweet too. Servers were attentive and food came fast. But the space for dine in is a bit smaller than usual so if the place gets full be prepared for the time to get seated.
Lenox Thai is a cozy, small cafe-style spot with seating for about 12 people. We tried the green curry, and it was full of flavor—rich, aromatic, and satisfying. The menu offers a good variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, making it a great choice for mixed groups. Perfect for a casual meal with authentic Thai flavors in a relaxed setting. Would definitely come back!
*UPDATE* Very Friendly staff! I came with my mom from MSK and we were greeted and welcomed very warmly, even helped us order and describe some of the menu items to my mom. One of the best Thai Ice teas I’ve had and I’ve been to Thailand! Had to add what was left of the food! Had the Crab meat fried rice - flavorful fried rice and is a good stand alone but also great as a side meal, sweet chili wings - can't go wrong with wings they were flavored not crispy but more like sautéedby the time we got to them and were cooked well, crispy pork belly - nice snack appetizer that was addictiveto eat, Si Krong Moo Thod (pork ribs) - meaty flavorful ribs that did NOT get stuck in your teeth came with a plum like sauce that was sweet and sour same for the pork belly, chicken pad thai a staple and I could have had a WHOLE platter full of it. Didn't disappoint at all, & the wonton noodle soup, a whole meal and experience all in itself! I couldn'tchoose which ingredient i liked the most but of course the wontons were the star. Highly recommend WILL BE GOING BACK!!
Ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken and the crispy pork belly. The pork belly was nicely fried and well seasoned. The Pad Thai was super fresh and full of flavor. The bean sprouts provided a nice crunch. The location is small but the service is top notch! Everyone is greeted and attended to. Will definitely come back!
A new Thai spot in UES! We thought the Thai food tasted super authentic and the service was excellent. It mainly operates as a take out spot but there are a few seats available in the restaurant. The menu offers a good selection of Thai food at reasonable prices. FYI they allow you to bring your own takeout containers so highly recommend!
Wonderful place to get some Thai food around 1st Avenue and 65-66th street. I got the lunch special at a good price for $18- I will say the portions are smaller than what I’m used to in Queens! I dined in, so I will say this a very small restaurant, and it is packed with so many people coming and going asking for take out. But the servers were very quick and accommodating, so I do want to say they did a phenomenal job on their end balancing take out and dine-ins. Thank you!!
The lunch specials ($17 each for the Panang curry and the Tom Yum fried rice) were decent-sized portions with a good amount of spice. The meal includes an appetizer and a drink. A soft drink may be a better option than the Thai iced tea. Service is super friendly and fast. The space, though, is elbow-to-elbow cramped.
My coworker ordered pick up and asked for sweet chili sauce for me. He was told the sauce was in the stapled bag. Upon opening the bag back at work, the sauce wasn’t there so I walked back to the store since I’m the one who wanted the sauce. I explained the situation to the woman at the register and she looked at the orders that were ready for pick up. I explained the situation again and the worker went back and forth with me for a couple more minutes, stating that someone already came to pick up the sauce and proceeds to print the receipt from our order. Another worker was nearby and I was asking them for assistance but she ignored me. The first woman continues to go back and forth with me telling me that someone picked up the sauce. She eventually gave me the little cup of sauce. My coworkers and I enjoyed the food. We got the lunch special and thought it was worth the money, but the customer service alone makes me not want to go back.
This was our first time having LenoxThai and the food was fairly underwhelming. We had the papaya salad which wasn’t bad, it was the best of our 3 entrees. While it smelled exceptionally garlicky when I opened the container, the salad was well balanced and not overly garlicky. Next we had the Tom Kha soup that was fair, at best. For starters, the soup was way too sweet, it lacked depth of flavor and had almost no vegetables other than a small serving of enoki mushrooms in the sweet broth and a few slices of baby Portobello mushrooms floating on top. Lastly was the Tum Yum fried rice. This dish had a half decent flavor but was so wet with sauce that you ate it more in clumps than any semblance of the actual rice that is the base. To finish things off, we checked the “include utensils and condiments” button and literally got one packet of utensils with our 3 entree order and not a single sauce or condiment. We gave LenoxThai a try but there are too many better Thai places to go back.
