LENOXTHAI New York Reviews
Love everything about it. Food amazing! Staff, super friendly and kind. Food came out super fast and I honestly think I found my new favorite spot. Cozy small spot to have a wonderful meal.
Not everyone can nail the intricate flavors of the Thai food experience. This restaurant exceeded our expectations!! We had the Pad Kee Mao, Basil fried Rice(with shrimp). Both were flavorful, delectable. The atmosphere was warm and inviting (despite the tiny setting), as if sitting in your own grandmother's kitchen. Not to mention the staff was friendly and considerate with timely food delivery. We loved it so much we even ordered more food to go after dining in:)
Lenox Thai is a true gem for anyone seeking authentic Thai food. As a Thai person myself, I can confidently say the dishes here are incredibly delicious and taste just like a home-cooked meal in Thailand. The flavors are spot on and the ingredients are fresh. Beyond the fantastic food, the staff is exceptionally friendly, and the cozy atmosphere makes you feel right at home. Whether you're a Thai food connoisseur or just looking for a wonderful dining experience, Lenox Thai is a must-visit.
We ordered the tom yum noodle soup and the Khao Soi, both of which were highly delicious! The tom yum noodle soup reminded me of the Chinese wonton noodle soups in the best way: a playful twist to classic Thai flavors. I will say that the space is quite small, so if you don’t get there early, you might be waiting a while. I also appreciated that their portions are quite generous: you will definitely not leave hungry after ordering an entree here!
Wow this place surprised me. I was looking for a Thai restaurant to eat at with my family and this spot blew me away. It is a small cozy little joint located at the bottom of the upper east side. Due to the size it is limited seating. Can possibly fit around 12 people or so. There's a nice little mural that someone painted. The menus on the TV are bright with clear pictures. I noticed they get plenty of door dash/Uber eats, etc. Our hostess was super sweet and caring. She attended to our needs and was very helpful. I had a question about what one of the dishes was and she looked it up on her phone to show me what it was. The food definitely blew me away. It was surprisingly good. We had the crispy spring rolls, classic fried rice(Chicken), pad Thai (chicken), and a mango avocado salad. The fried rice was amazing. I've always prefer Thai fried rice compared to other Asian fried rices. It didn't taste super greasy and it had the right amount of eggs and chicken and vegetables. The salad was perfectly riped. A great combo of mango and avocado with onions/cashews and an Asian sauce. Very fresh and delicious. The crispy spring rolls came in a set of 4. They tasted great are also a nice size, not too small. It was paired with a sweet chili sauce for dipping. The pad Thai was delicious 🤤 not too dry and just the right amount of oil. The noodles were cooked perfectly. The portion was a great size. I ended up taking the fried rice and pad Thai in a to go container. She was nice enough to box up the food for us. We also ordered Thai tea. It was the final piece of the puzzle to balance out the spicy meals. We definitely recommend this place. Everyone please try it. Would definitely try again if we're in the area.
Anotha Thai spot unlocked! Looking at their reviews, felt already inviting. There was a lot of good food from the photos posted and it did not disappoint! I had Fried Tofu Pad Thai, Spring Rolls and Thai Banana Fritters. Fried Tofu Pad Thai, perfect! Tasted like the real Pad Thai I had from visiting Thailand itself. Cause some restos either have them too greasy or too much in between. I opted for fried tofu with pad Thai since I have been wanting more protein in my food so perfect choice and good they have the choice in their menu for that. Spring Rolls, not the best spring rolls but it’s worth a try. Banana Fritters, freshly cooked and oh so good! The crispiness made it really good with the taste of coconut in it. Not too sweet too. Servers were attentive and food came fast. But the space for dine in is a bit smaller than usual so if the place gets full be prepared for the time to get seated.
Lenox Thai is a cozy, small cafe-style spot with seating for about 12 people. We tried the green curry, and it was full of flavor—rich, aromatic, and satisfying. The menu offers a good variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, making it a great choice for mixed groups. Perfect for a casual meal with authentic Thai flavors in a relaxed setting. Would definitely come back!
*UPDATE* Very Friendly staff! I came with my mom from MSK and we were greeted and welcomed very warmly, even helped us order and describe some of the menu items to my mom. One of the best Thai Ice teas I’ve had and I’ve been to Thailand! Had to add what was left of the food! Had the Crab meat fried rice - flavorful fried rice and is a good stand alone but also great as a side meal, sweet chili wings - can't go wrong with wings they were flavored not crispy but more like sautéedby the time we got to them and were cooked well, crispy pork belly - nice snack appetizer that was addictiveto eat, Si Krong Moo Thod (pork ribs) - meaty flavorful ribs that did NOT get stuck in your teeth came with a plum like sauce that was sweet and sour same for the pork belly, chicken pad thai a staple and I could have had a WHOLE platter full of it. Didn't disappoint at all, & the wonton noodle soup, a whole meal and experience all in itself! I couldn'tchoose which ingredient i liked the most but of course the wontons were the star. Highly recommend WILL BE GOING BACK!!
Ordered the Pad Thai with Chicken and the crispy pork belly. The pork belly was nicely fried and well seasoned. The Pad Thai was super fresh and full of flavor. The bean sprouts provided a nice crunch. The location is small but the service is top notch! Everyone is greeted and attended to. Will definitely come back!
Wonderful place to get some Thai food around 1st Avenue and 65-66th street. I got the lunch special at a good price for $18- I will say the portions are smaller than what I’m used to in Queens! I dined in, so I will say this a very small restaurant, and it is packed with so many people coming and going asking for take out. But the servers were very quick and accommodating, so I do want to say they did a phenomenal job on their end balancing take out and dine-ins. Thank you!!
The lunch specials ($17 each for the Panang curry and the Tom Yum fried rice) were decent-sized portions with a good amount of spice. The meal includes an appetizer and a drink. A soft drink may be a better option than the Thai iced tea. Service is super friendly and fast. The space, though, is elbow-to-elbow cramped.
