Excellent choice of Italian cuisine in the Greenwich area There is another Olio e Piu close to Bryant park but the ambience out there is very traditional and relaxing We ordered the Bruschetta in the appetizer and it was well made In our main entree we ordered the Margarita Pizza and the Tagliatelle Di Bosco The dish was very flavorful Definitely deserve a second visit and highly recommend a draft beer
The vibe is 10/10. The service 20/10. The food 100/10. The vibe is cozy and romantic. Our server, Turgut, was attentive and just all around fabulous! The food was some of the best italian I’ve ever had! We’re so happy we snagged a reservation for my birthday. Highly recommend!
I had an amazing experience at this Italian restaurant! I ordered the short rib ravioli and it was absolutely delicious — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The food overall was outstanding, and the customer service was truly A+. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made the whole dining experience even better. Highly recommend!
We came to Olio e Più for the first time tonight and we will definitely be back! Maria was our server and she was so professional and kind; helped to pick us the best choices for our tastes. We were debating what wine to get and she was so helpful to make sure that our table gets what we’re looking for. The food was authentic and so full of flavour; I got the carbonara and the beef carpaccio to start and everything was truly amazing ! Thank you 🙏🏻😊.
We absolutely love the new Olio e Più in the West Village. It has all the incredible food we already loved at the Bryant Park location, but the West Village spot brings a completely different charm — warmer, more intimate, and full of character. The atmosphere feels cozy yet vibrant, the service is attentive, and every dish is as delicious as ever. While the new location has more of a city buzz, the West Village restaurant truly captures the neighborhood’s soul.
Perfect date night spot!! Maria gave excellent recommendations and the food was all insanely good. Plus, as someone with celiac, the care taken for gluten free eating was superb. Special highlights were the ribeye (veggies on the side were amazing) and the carbonara. Everything was super flavorful, and I’ll be back (terminator voice).
We went for brunch today and it was our first time at Olio. what a great experience. My friend and I were blown away from start to finish. The tartufata pizza was incredible, and we really enjoyed both the ribeye and the pastas. The food quality and presentation were excellent, the atmosphere was lovely, and the service from Carlos was outstanding. He was attentive, professional, welcoming and on top of the table. We appreciate it excellent person Carlos Ferrer🫶🙏
Blown away. Lived up to the hype. Not one table available so make sure you plan accordingly. Inside was packed as was outside. We loved the vibe! We had the spinach salad which was so fresh and enjoyable. Followed by the sausage and pepper pizza and the pappardelle which was steaming hot. We don’t feel rushed at all and service was great. Always refilling water and taking plates away, we fully enjoyed our dinner and would come back for sure.
My friend and me went for dinner and we had a great experience. We sat the bar and was served by Gabriel and Salim. They were both attentive, kind and engaging! I would recommended the Piccata Limón Chicken or their famous Carbonero! It gets crowded, but it was a good vibe for the holiday season.
This is our favorite neighborhood spot to bring visitors when they come into town. The food is always delicious and fresh, with great seasonal specials. Our server was Jose tonight and he went above and beyond to make sure our experience was excellent. We will continue to frequent here ✨
Gabriel and Alex are an amazing duo or servers who allowed my girlfriends and I to have the absolute best experience at our first visit at Olio. Not only was the food absolutely delicious and authentically Italian, but our service was 100% what it should be - more than exceptional. I highly recommend this place, especially for a romantic date night!
Dinner was PERFECT! Our server Jose was very accommodating and friendly. The food was outstanding and the portion sizes were ideal. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was great for a date night and perfect for a holiday/homey feel. Overall amazing, and Jose made everything wonderful.
We come to NY every year and never miss a chance to dine in at olio e più. The food and ambience is always on point but today we were even more mind blown by the service recieved by Omar. He made our group feel welcomed and made sure we were enjoying every moment of our meal. He was very attentive, informative and patient with all our questions. You could tell he was genuine and loved taking care of his guests. Definitely 10 stars for Omar.
Cute date night spot with great Italian food. This place is packed I was glad I was finally able to book a dinner with them. I had ordered the bufalina pizza, branzino, short rib ragu. The pizza is so fresh and good definitely because they use a brick oven. The branzino was also fantastic you can’t never go wrong with that. I recommend ordering those; the short rib ragu was okay nothing mind blowing.
The carbonara was amazing. Overall had a fabulous experience here. I will say, once the host sat our party, 20 minutes went by without a glance from servers. I had to remind the hostess we were there… an honest blip in communication, and the staff resolved it well. They were extremely attentive the entire time moving forward but it was an awkward start. Our server was fabulous though. The holiday decorations were beautiful. A giant Christmas tree right in the middle. However it was so big that it butt into our table, and as servers rushed past it on the other side it would shake the whole tree. These are things I didn’t mind too much, but my mother could not get over. My recommendation: you should go and try the carbonara, but don’t bring my mother! P.S. TIRAMISU IS A MUST Also reservation is a must
My third time back here and the food is always the best. I’ve been trying different foods off the menu each time I got back, but the gnocchi has to be my favorite and the portion was great! I really enjoyed our server Maria, she was so attentive and sweet and I’m so glad we got to experience this restaurant again!
I’ve been coming here for a few years, and return for many reason. But the main reason is service. Incredible staff, and ever helpful to guide you through wine choices or dishes. My wife, son, and I have not had a bad experience or bad meal even once. Nicolas at the Greenwich location is an exceptional server, and deserving of very much praise, and one of the main catalysts for me even writing this review. He was knowledgeable and helpful in my peculiar wine tastes and recommended an excellent one on my recent trip. I will continue to come here as long as they are around.
Went for the truffle pasta, it did not disappoint - never wanted it to end. It wasn’t on the main menu but it was on their specials. Just back from 2 weeks in Tuscany and this is some of the best pasta I’ve ever had. Great atmosphere, sitting outside was nice as a little quieter. All staff were great!
Fantastic location at Greenwich. Super friendly staff, great outside seating area nicely decorated. We had a Cesar’s salad which chicken. Super tasty and fresh. Bread with olives and some oil came for appetizers. Staff was friendly and attentive. Little watch out: no more free refills. Coke Zero was a little expensive at around $7 each. Great restaurant with great food in a great location. Love it.
Everything about this place was amazing! From appetizers, main and dessert. Absolutely delicious, the only sad part is that I live in FL and won’t be able to come here every week. Cesar was our server and he helped us find the best options, I ended up getting the ravioli, and for dessert the olive oil cake
This is one of those restaurants I’ve lost count of how many times we’ve been back, a true favorite🌹 This time, we ordered the beet salad, fried calamari, tuna carpaccio, orecchiette with Italian sausage and broccoli, and the salmon as a secondi. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the salmon which we tried for the first time was cooked to perfection.🤤 Since it was my birthday, they surprised us with a panna cotta topped with a candle, which was such a lovely touch. Huge thanks to Gabriel, who served our table. He was friendly and kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. He is truly professional🤵♂️ I was so hungry I forgot to take photos of the food, but I somehow managed to get a picture of the dessert!୧⍢⃝🎂
A Saturday night without a reservation.. we were warmly greeted and offered a table. Our waitress Gockce was wonderful, despite a really busy restaurant everything was super prompt and we were never left waiting. The food… Having been to Italy many times, I can honestly say this was the best carbonara I have ever had. Thank you, I hope to return when in NYC again!
“I had the most unforgettable birthday at olio e piu Even though the restaurant was buzzing with a full house, the manager went out of his way to secure a perfect table for me. And as if that wasn’t enough, they surprised me with a lovely book, inscribed with ‘Happy Birthday’—such a heartfelt gesture. The food was absolutely exquisite, and the birthday ice cream was a dream. Every moment, every detail, made me feel so cherished. I can’t wait to come back—thank you from the bottom of my heart!” Does that capture everything you were hoping for?
The restaurant is beautiful and elegant, with a lovely vibe. The waiters were friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better. We ordered the Tartufata pizza and the Ravioli both were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Italian food in a stylish setting!
I don’t have enough great things to say about this place. They made us feel like family from the second we entered until we left. 12/10 recommend!! Turgut was our server, we will be back and will be recommending to all of our family and friends! Thank you for the incredible service and delicious food!
Fantastic experience at Olio e Più. The food was absolutely outstanding — fresh, full of flavour, and beautifully presented. Every dish we had was spot on, and the drinks were just as good, perfectly made and a great match for the food. A special mention to Maria, who made the experience even better. She was incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional from start to finish, making us feel genuinely welcome without ever being overbearing. Her service really stood out and added to the relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere. Great food, great drinks, great service — we’ll definitely be back.
Thank you Cesar for great & quick service! I’ve been looking forward to coming to this place since I found it on TikTok. I got well accommodated & had a calm time. The lights get dimmed after sunset and you get a candle placed down which is such a stunning environment. Please find our dishes below 😻 the Cabonara. Super cute and super creamy.
Me and my sisters were visiting New York and were drawn in by the cozy Christmas atmosphere. They looked busy inside, it was their opening week, but they still had space for four and seated us immediately. I had a vegetarian pasta dish, it was delicious, and the desserts were divine. For being a brand new restaurant in New York, you would think it had been here all along! Alex was a wonderful server, if I'm ever in the area again I would absolutely go back.
Had such a lovely dinner at Olio e Piú! The atmosphere was warm and cozy, perfect for a relaxed night out. We ordered a few dishes to share, and everything came out fresh and flavorful. • The fried calamari was crispy on the outside and tender inside, served with a really tasty dipping sauce. • The carbonara was rich and creamy, topped with a fresh egg yolk that made the sauce even smoother. Definitely a must-try. • The prosciutto pizza had a nice balance of salty prosciutto and fresh arugula on a thin, chewy crust. • And the Caesar salad was simple but really well done, with crunchy lettuce and lots of parmesan. Even the bread and olives they served in the beginning were delicious. Great food, friendly service, and a cozy vibe. I’d definitely come back again ✨
This place is fantastic! The food, vibes and service are one of the best in NYC (and I’ve eaten at a lot of Italian restaurants in the NYC). THANK YOU to Turgut for making my birthday so special, you are the definition of perfect customer service! 1000% would recommend this place!
Me and my family had such a great time at Olio e Più. From the moment we sat down, everything felt warm, lively, and welcoming. The food was outstanding — my pizza was perfectly cooked and very yummy Our server Maria truly made the night memorable. She was kind, attentive, and incredibly professional! Her energy and hospitality added so much to the evening. Love this place and I will be coming back soon!!!
Five stars across the board!! The sweetest waitress Angela services us for our wedding night and was the top tier perfect! The food was top notch and was so satisfying with each bite. Made the moment feel magical. Everything was refreshing and felt beautiful entering the body. Will come again. 10/10would recommend
Amazing Food and nice drinks. You can also eat and have a drink at the nice sweet bar. The prices are not that expensive and the quality of the food is really good! I can highly recommend the carbonara. It comes with a fresh egg yellow on top! 10/10 i will come back within my 10 days new york trip! Our waiter Nicolas was really friendly and we had a great evening.
I really like this place — it’s one of my favorite spots. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, and the black truffle pasta and drinks were absolutely delicious. The staff are warm, welcoming, and very humorous. I especially want to mention Cesar — he was incredibly funny, friendly, and very polite, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and bringing my friends next time!
Absolutely loved our experience at Olio e Più. The food and drinks were incredible from start to finish. The carbonara was amazing, perfectly al dente, rich, and full of flavor, easily one of the best I’ve had. Drinks were just as good and paired perfectly with the meal. Our server Maria was wonderful! She was attentive, friendly, and made the whole experience even better. She checked in at all the right moments and made us feel so taken care of. Can’t wait to come back!
Carlos, our server, was fantastic. He was very friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
I’ve been dying to try this viral spot and it didn’t disappoint. As much as I loved the food, I loved the service more. Turgut was phenomenal and was very professional. Definitely recommend him if you can! Will be back because of his exceptional service and great recs as a first timer.
We walked in without a reservation around 4:15 on Valentines Day. The host was able to squeeze us in without a reservation and it got better from there! We shared the burrata bruschetta Caesar salad and Bufalo pizza, their take on a margarita, for dessert we had a delicious tiramisu. The pizza was the only thing I could criticize mildly, as it was a bit under in the center. The crust was so good it was easy to overlook that one bite! I can’t say enough about the staff. Everyone stopped to check to see if we were enjoying our food or needed anything. Definitely coming back in spring when we can sit outside on Greenwich Ave and people watch with an aperol spritz.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday here and everything was absolutely amazing! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. A special thank you to our server, Turgut, who made the night even more special. He was attentive, kind, professional, and truly went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. His service was outstanding and made our celebration unforgettable. We will definitely be coming back and highly recommend this place for any special occasion! 🤍🙊🤍🤍🤍
This spot had been on our list for a while, and after finally trying it, I completely understand the hype. The carbonara was creamy and rich, easily the best I've ever had. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and delicious! We had a reservation for 7:45 pm. on a Friday but ended up being seated around 8pm due to how popular the restaurant has become online. Even with the short wait, the experience was well worth it. Overall, thank you, Turgut, for the great hospitality and making our experience enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to coming back!
Olio e più at the Bryant Park location is a beautiful place with a good and cozy atmosphere to go on dates and celebrate with family and friends, the food is delicious everything fresh and authentically Italian, the carbonara was amazing it really brought me back to Italy. Many good options on the menu for food and drinks and amazing service. Our server Gokce was super nice and sweet! 10/10 recommend and totally coming back!
For a pre-Valentine's Day dinner accompanied by my fiancé, we opted to try Olio e piu on Greenwich Avenue. We arrived around 5 pm, where the seating was mildly packed in-house; we were greeted by a wonderful host who arranged seating for us near the window in the back. Giving us two menus and a drink menu, we were excited to try some great dishes given the tremendous outstanding choices of food on the menu. I opted for the tagliata e verdure medium rare , and my fiancé chose the ravioli di short rib al ragu. Our server, Turgut, was phenomenal - attentive to detail, very attentive, and friendly. When I first tried to pronounce his name, I called him 'too-good,' which brought laughter. The food was excellent, and I had to order another round of the short rib al ragu for myself. I paired my lovely meal with a Cabernet red wine, which was Turgut's choice. As time went by, the place got really packed - a beautiful atmosphere with decor and ambiance. I will absolutely try this place again, giving it a 10/10, with no complaints at all, except wishing they had better options for still water.
Olió e Piu is one of my favorite spots, and I’ve had the pleasure of sitting both inside and outside — both experiences are wonderful. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting inside, while the outdoor seating is perfect for enjoying a sunny day or a relaxed evening. The staff here is amazing, and a special shout-out goes to Milo, who made our visits even more enjoyable with their friendliness, attentiveness, and great recommendations. The service really makes the experience feel personal and welcoming. The food at Olió e Piu is consistently fantastic. The truffle pizza is an absolute standout — perfectly cooked, flavorful, and indulgent without being overpowering. The fries are also a must-try, crispy and satisfying, and the wine selection pairs beautifully with the menu. Every dish feels thoughtfully prepared with quality ingredients and care. Whether you’re coming for a casual lunch, a cozy dinner, or just a relaxing meal with friends, Olió e Piu delivers on all fronts. Amazing food, fantastic service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere make it a place I love returning to. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for delicious Italian cuisine in a friendly and stylish setting!
Went for lunch and the place was packed, but I got lucky and managed to grab a seat. The energy was great and the service kept things moving smoothly despite the rush. The carbonara — their most famous dish — was incredible. Perfectly cooked pasta with a rich, savory sauce that hits all the right notes without feeling heavy. Easily one of the best I’ve had anywhere. The ravioli was also fantastic — flavorful, delicate, and cooked to perfection. Every bite showed real technique and high-quality ingredients. Overall, an outstanding lunch. I’d happily come back to explore more of the menu.
I went on a friend date on a Wednesday night and it was a very pleasant experience. Our sever Jose was extremely attentive and helpful. The food is amazing and even my friend who doesn’t usually like Italian food enjoyed it immensely. The cocktails are also very good but a little on the expensive side. The closeness of the tables and the volume does require you to speak at a louder volume but it was not a problem for us!
Loved Olio e Più. Super vibey with dim lighting—perfect for date night. We arrived a bit early and grabbed a drink at the bar while waiting for our table. They bring bread and olives to start. We split the Caesar salad and the ravioli and both were excellent. The Caesar is noticeably better than your standard restaurant Caesar. They also have this incredible finishing salt on the table that we put on almost everything. We finished with the tiramisu, which is easily one of the better ones I’ve had in the city. I paired dinner with a glass of the Super Tuscan red and it was perfectly dry. Ambiance was amazing all around. Definitely recommend a reservation, but it’s more doable than some nearby spots.
Jose was an amazing server and the ambiance of the restaurant was wonderful. We dined here for a birthday party and all the portion were perfect. The squid ink pasta was my favorite and the scallops were a great starter. Lovely experience with Jose and all the wait staff. Would definitely dine here again!
Great experience at Olio e Più in NYC. Making a reservation over the phone was smooth and easy, and the staff was very friendly from the start. Our server Anela was amazing attentive, warm, and provided excellent service. The mushroom pasta was delicious, the carbonara was amazing, and the beef carpaccio was exceptionally good. Overall, great food, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and come back again.
The food was fantastic! We got the carbornara pasta and it was the best we've had in the city and our server Gabrielle was great! For our appetizer we had the caponatina eggplant and it was absolutely delicious. The service was extremely attentive and so warming. I would definitely come back here again! Thank you! ☺️☺️
An unexpected spectacular dinner. We came in with no reservation and we were able to get a table at the bar. We had the most delicious pasta entrees, but because we saw the steak being prepared we had to order a second entree. It was perfection and the staff were friendly and helpful in recommending the best option for our appetites.
We met friends here while on a family vacation in New York. We were able to get reservations easily for a table of seven. The service was great, very friendly and accommodating. It was my son‘s birthday and they brought out ice cream and sang him happy birthday. The food was very good but a little on the pricey side. This restaurant is in the West Village and has great people watching. I thought the atmosphere was very cozy. The pizzas are good, but I would stick with the pasta.
We obviously came here for the carbonara. The floral decor in the restaurant was gorgeous. The carbonara was good, but we were more impressed by the small plates, which had really unique and authentic flavors. We loved that the portion sizes were generous compared to other Italian places in Manhattan at this price point. However, we felt a bit overwhelmed, since the restaurant was incredibly loud and busy when we had our meal.
I returned here after about 10 years and the restaurant is still good. However, this place used to be THE place to eat a good carbonara in my memories. Well, don't believe what's written in the menu: for sure what I had in my Carbonara wasn't guanciale. It tasted like something bland like pancetta or prociutto.
We went here on a Friday night with no reservation. Put our name on the list and the wait time was about 35 minutes. It's such a pretty little spot and though it's busy, it's still feels comfortable which was great. We weren’t super hungry (for apps ect) so we both ended up getting the carbonara pasta and I got a lemon drop. They brought out some bread, oil, and olives to snack on. The pasta was great. Simple, creamy, and light while having a good amount of flavor. My lemon drop did take a while to come because I was almost done with my pasta by the time I got it, but I drank it anyway and we wrapped up dinner! It was a really good experience and I would love to come back and try more things on the menu.
Olio e Più served up a carbonara that truly stood out—the guanciale was perfectly crispy, the spaghetti was cooked to perfection, and the sauce was rich and smooth without feeling too heavy. We also tried the Bufalina pizza, which was good but didn’t quite make a lasting impression. The restaurant was bustling, which slowed down the service a bit, but the vibrant atmosphere added to its charm. On a warm afternoon, the outdoor seating is a definite highlight, offering a more laid-back experience and a refreshing break from the indoor buzz. The portion sizes were just right, and despite a few minor hiccups, the overall experience was truly enjoyable.
This place is on top 10 NYC Italian spots for a good reason. She’s consistent. I’d love to give this place a 5 star rating but unfortunately even tho they forgot my app, when we ordered pizzas to go, my friend was kind of upset to find out they completely got the wrong order on his pie. Heartbreaking.
4/5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A fantastic Italian spot with great vibes A wonderful place for brunch in New York! We had a really great experience overall. My wife was personally delighted with the French Toast—she said it was one of the best she's ever had: perfectly custardy with a delicious caramelized crust and not overly sweet. Highly recommend it! I had the Eggs Benedict—a very high-quality dish. The hollandaise sauce was perfect, and the eggs were poached just right. I'm only giving four stars because, for my personal preference and considering the price point, the portion felt a little light. Overall, Olio e Più is exactly what you look for in this neighborhood: authentic Italian flair (even during brunch), great wine, a buzzing and lively atmosphere, and excellent service. The only thing to keep in mind is that it's quite expensive, even by NYC standards. But for the quality, service, and prime location, it feels mostly justified.
The only reason why I'm not giving this Restaurant five stars is because our server was a bit absent. They were rather busy and we were eating our early lunch at 3:30 PM on a Sunday afternoon, but maybe he was overwhelmed with all his tables? The replacement server once our server went on break was also the hostess, and she seemed to be in the front more than anything else. By the time we left the restaurant at 5:15 PM we had to ask the table busier for the check because we couldn't find her. Other than that, the bottle of Pinot Grigio, we ordered was the perfect pairing the table with all our combos of dishes. We see they had a table for 10, but only because my husband wanted to order a lot of dishes so we could all share family style. Lol it was perfect! We had enough room for the five of us at the table and we weren't crowded with our numerous amount of dishes! Hee I really like the ambience and although I've never been to Italy, it seems like a very homie Italian style restaurant. I forgot to take a picture of the spaghetti with a vodka marinara sauce. That was also delicious! Everything had good flavor and each sauce tasted different! I've never had a time like this before! I'm sure no Italian place on the West Coast to make their dishes, taste like this! We tried three different desserts, the tiramisu, some sort of vanilla cake that had a raspberry glaze in the calzone. The calzone was delicious because the bread was sourdough, but a bit too chocolatey for my liking.. I like fruit for dessert so chocolate isn't my thing. My friend's daughter loved the calzone and the vanilla ice cream. She got, she's four though! Hee
This is a nice place for Italian food in New York. The ambiance is very charming, and they greet you with a complimentary olive bread which is a really nice touch. The menu offers a great variety of pastas and meat dishes. We tried the Carbonara—which seems to be their most popular dish—and the Trout. Both were delicious and well-prepared. While it might not be a place that "reinvents the wheel," it is incredibly consistent. You know you’re going to have a good meal in a beautiful setting. It’s a reliable choice that always delivers. Price: Around $50 per person (excluding alcohol).
We went here on a busy Friday night but were able to get seated at the bar without a res. I liked the decor of airy opened with florals. The service was great, super fast and well run with a lot of staff. The cocktails looked great. This spot is a good crowd pleaser and nice spot for friends. We found the actual pasta dishes to be okay, but not something we’d order again give sauce ratios and pasta texture.
i got the club sandwich. it was genuinely terrible. it was cold, on flatbread (even though claimed in focaccia), expensive, and EXTREMELY wet and oily. I couldn’t even eat the sandwich without the oil leaking everywhere. It was also severely under seasoned, and the chicken inside was bland and dry. The tomato was also drenched in the oily sauce and there were just two random soggy pieces of lettuce thrown on there. I would never come back here.
