This location truly stands out. The food is fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious every time. The staff are friendly, quick, and incredibly accommodating, which makes the experience even better. I’ll definitely be back soon for another poke bowl.. after trying many other places, this is hands down my number one.

As a resident of Roosevelt Island, “Island Rolls and Bowls” is a go to place for my fiancé and me; we make it a point to stop by every week. My recent favorite has been the spicy pork bowl, and my fiancé’s go to is always the chicken katsu bowl with extra white sauce. Also, their homemade marshmallow treats are so buttery and delicious. One of the most significant highlights of “Island Rolls and Bowls” is the owner, Angie. She is incredibly warm and thoughtful, and treats her customers like family! 😊

While looking for a bathroom, I got blessed with amazing food. I brought California rolls and I just knew I had to bring my friends here. We stayed here from 1 pm till closing time trying different food. Everything tasted amazing, definitely recommend!!!!! And ofc we’re even taking food to go :))))

Great food! Great service! Great ambiance. I got the poke bowl and it was really fresh and pretty big for its cost. They even offer chess to play while you eat! If you’re ever in Roosevelt island, definitely stop by here! I really recommend.

If you’re looking for a quick bite to eat or a chill place to grab lunch or dinner, head to this spot! The poke bowls, tacos and desserts are spot on. The menu is so vast, that we were able to find something for each person in our group. Even the pickeaters found something they liked. The service was amazing too and everyone was so attentive.

Somehow this place has a menu that covers half of Asia and South America, and is still gas. I got the salmon teriyaki poke bowl, and was surprised by the exquisite quality of the fish. All the supporting ingredients were quite fresh and flavorful, and I would definitely be interested in coming back. Check out the specials menu they have some tasteful steals and interesting meals. This small restaurant is super cozy and cute. The food was fresh and tasty—especially the quesadillas and soup. The flowers and sunlight made it feel really warm and relaxing. Great spot for a chill meal me and my boyfriend will be back!

Delicious food! I had a blue lemonade, acai cup, and some custard filled taiyaki. I also got a “Bring you bag of chips” where i was able to add toppings to any chip bag! (It was great with hot cheetos) I definitely recommend visiting as the workers were very friendly as well! If you are near or visiting Roosevelt Island, give a visit!!

This is called “Bring Your Own Bag”. You can bring any kind of bags of chips and stuff with meat and veggies. If you didn’t bring ur bag, you can buy one there so don’t worry abt it. I tried it with cheetos and it was so good. At first, I was having second thoughts about the chips and meat combo but they blended so well unexpectedly. Cheetos stayed crunchy and the sauce is really good. It’s just perfect and I am craving more.

Classic corporate bowl spot. The line gets long between 12:15 and whenever you want to go, so go early. If you are NOT going for lunch during your workday you should go somewhere else! I like that they have cold and hot protein options and I like to ask for half zucchini noodles and half brown rice because I am very health-conscious. If you are not health-conscious, I am not trying to slight you but rather state my experience and feelings. Thanks.

got the sushi burrito- very small portion size for $17. food prices all are kind of insanely high. ambience is very mild- did not feel welcoming & isn't really a place i would hang out in. my service was great though! my server adrian was really helpful and went above and beyond to help me find something on the menu i'd like- he was a shining light in the store.

The food is exceptional. My review is more so for the staff and based on the other reviews, I see nothing has changed. This was my first time going there, and I felt nothing but rushed. I wanted a warm bowl with salmon and the two girls behind the counter rushed me along the process. No type of customer service, only wanted to see about the person behind me. I didn’t even get to see all the crunchies I could put on it or all the sauces. Yal have to do better. There’s far too much ppl looking for a job, that would be happy to do it. Food was good, but not worth the attitude it comes with.

Have come here a few times , enjoy that it's healthy and good quality, but have twice now received rude service. The place promotes itself as offering the ability to customize your bowl but when doing so, even just adding one extra item, I've gotten mocking comments from staff, usually that the bowl is getting too full. Staff should be reminded that the customer is not in charge of portion control through the ordering process. I'm young, I've worked in service, I have patience for what staff have to put up with, especially from older clientele who sometimes don't know how to treat service staff in a fast paced environment. But I don't understand why the staff here feel entitled to mock customers. I've dealt with it more than once now and I see others have too in the reviews so it's not a one off but a systemic problem. May have to seek out other healthy options in the area unfortunately.

I walked in and wasn't greeted. Instead, I was rudely asked several times by the lady with the short pixie cut if I was ready. It was my first time, so I didn’t know what to order. She didn’t offer any suggestions or explain the process. I told her I didn’t like her attitude and that she needed to relax, but she just kept yelling at me to tell her when I was ready. The energy and the attitude in that place made me uncomfortable so I left. Me walk away

Be careful when checking out at this location. I had a terrible experience here. I ordered a poke bowl and was shocked to find a $100 tip charged to my card that I never authorized. It took far too much back-and-forth to even start getting the issue resolved, and they still didn’t want to give me a full refund. On top of that, the manager had an unnecessary attitude, as if it was his own money being taken back. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable, I will not be returning.

Beware, this location tacks an extra 3% on each non-cash transaction (which I imagine has to be the vast majority of all transactions). This is posted near the register, but not in a place that makes it blatantly obvious. They draw you in with the notion of a lower price when it actuality their offerings are quite expensive. To add insult to injury, the receipts generated by their POS are no itemized. Stay far, far away.
