(From a Dogs perspective) While I was not allowed in the coffee shop my human goes to I did have the chance to wait outside in the most incredible barking lot I have ever seen! The water bowl was quite exquisite and really quenched my thirst on a hot summer day. Not only that but so many humans pet me on their way out. Paws down would recommend for all of my doggie friends on the Upper East Side

Not only is this the best coffee in Manhattan, but the staff at this location is truly incredible. Every detail is carefully thought out and they make each customer feel truly taken care of. The manager always goes above and beyond. Birch makes my day better every day!

This is my favorite coffee spot. The people are fantastic, amazing coffee/espresso. The highlight is the blueberry muffin- legitimately the best blueberry muffin I’ve ever had. I come here every morning. Highly recommend!

Coffee was really good here and the people that take your order are really sweet and attentive. I bought a bag of coffee as well and they grind it in store for the method of coffee making of your liking. The place is small but has a common table were you can sit and some chairs outside. The energy is really nice and the smell nicer.

One of the more spacious birch cafes. Clean and open vibes. Pastries looked very fresh and good. Latte was good.

Random searching for nice spot and this is it. The baristas are nice and the coffee is great. Definitely will be back. Went for the 2nd time… the service wasn’t the same as last time. When I ordered iced black coffee and the baristas asked me ‘do you milk?’ And I said no just black, then she said ‘smart’!!!!! What does it mean? So this time I cut service down from 5 to 3 . But the coffee was great as always

This coffee shop is so delightful! It truly made my day coming here. I only shared a coffee with a friend but as soon as you walk in, the energy is great. The staff is welcoming, its neatly organized and nicely decorated. The note I found after a few sips, truly put a smile on my face. Thank you Birch. I definitely will be back and I highly recommend.

Great chai latte, very affordable for the city. The best espresso on the UES. The staff was friendly and attentive the place was clean and aromatic. Stop in check it out! You'll love the fact that you can choose to lid your drink or not to reduce waste. There's also a free little library inside! Bring your books to donate or pick-up a new read.

Coffee was good. Cappuccino lacked foam but the taste was great - strong coffee, not too much milk so it didn’t taste diluted. Service was expressionless, member of staff at checkout took orders as if you came to bother them. Not so great for creating a cozy atmosphere.

A cozy gem tucked in a quiet neighborhood, this coffee shop charms with its warm ambiance and friendly baristas. The aroma of fresh brews fills the air, complemented by locally sourced pastries. the coffee is rich and thoughtfully brewed, and the pastries are always fresh. Very warm and welcoming.

The coffee is quite good. They offer Plat White, Cafe Latte, Chai Latte, Cafe Au Lait, etc. I would recommend original Cafe Latte if you try this shop for the first time. 😀 The shop is not so spacious, however it looked very cozy. Bread, especially blueberry muffins and croissants with almonds are recommended.
