Excellent food, very authentic. LOVE the chicken shish wrap with garlic whip. They're very friendly and welcoming, great lunch spot!
A hidden gem on the upper east side! I have come here a few times and the service is always absolutely wonderful, the food is delicious and authentic and everything is just great. They are so generous with the portions and the quality is great! Attaching the picture of the stuffed zucchini order from today.
Came with my wife after a medical appointment for lunch. It was raining so we started out with a phenomenal yellow lentil soup. It had a nice kick. Then we each ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. The flavor was good incredible. The person who took our order was patient and very nice. This is not an atmosphere place but if you want to have lunch at a very reasonable price, I highly recommend.
Beef shawarma bowl was great. Nice variety of toppings and especially liked the baba ghanouj and hummus. Rice was also nice and flavorful. Overall great value for the meal. Would come back next time to try the knafeh
Excellent hospitality and outstanding food. Everything was made fresh with high-quality ingredients, and you can genuinely tell they care about both their craft and the impression they leave on their guests. I’m really glad I came, and I’ll definitely be returning again and again.
We had an amazing experience at Chamoun’s Way! The food was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the Markook wraps, both lamb and chicken were incredible, and the Knafeh was the perfect sweet ending. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavor. The service was friendly, and the vibe was relaxed and welcoming. Definitely one of the best Mediterranean spots in the city, we’ll be coming back soon! Thanks Joseph
You can trust that each dish receives proper attention. Their food quality is excellent. You get remarkable taste in every dish. I believe a family operates this place and they're quite welcoming. I can confirm you'll enjoy both what you eat and where you eat it.
Ambiance (4/5): No frills space with the front windows and door open with fresh air coming into the restaurant. Service (5/5): The register worker (maybe owner?) was super chill and friendly who provided suggestions and checked in on us after ordering. We also wanted to help by clearing the table but he insisted that we leave it and he’d help clean up. The menu is extensive. We landed on a wrap and a plate. The chicken shawarma was better than the lamb—lamb chunks were a bit tough. It was unlimited toppings and all were very fresh. This would be a banger if their pita was better quality/ different recipe. Must get the hot sauce and tzatziki sauce was amazing. The wrap is ginormous so definitely worth the price point. Will definitely be back again!
Worth a detour. Very good, high quality homemade Lebanese food. Everything is fresh. Editing to say I came back the next day that's how good it was. I wanted to try to two appetizers with my wrap and tried to see if they did small side dishes cause it's just a lunch and I can't eat that much. And they gave me a little of each on the house and didn't charge for my sugar. They're so nice! The lamb sausage is made in house and is a combo lamb and beef, that's ground soft, super juicy spicy but not hot or overwhelming like a more tender meeguez. One of the best I've had.
Such a great experience!! I’m visiting my boyfriend from out of town and this was probably the best dining experience of my trip. We shared the Chamoun’s way combo, which was delicious and more than enough for two people. I think I counted 17 components, and it was so fun to try different combinations for every bite. The meat was juicy and tender, my favorite was the kufta and my boyfriend liked the chicken shawarma but honestly they were all crazy good. The service was fantastic, all the guys working were so kind to us. Big shoutout to Charbel for sending us home with extra baba ganoush, hummus, pita, rice, and a dessert. It was the end of the night and we were the last customers, but most places wouldn’t go the extra mile like that. Overall, great food, great people, great evening. I will definitely come back for seconds next time I’m in the city.
The service here was exceptional—run by a team of brothers who go above and beyond. The food is delicious, and when I mentioned I was curious about their stuffed cabbage, they surprised me with three rolls to sample along with dessert. The menu is impressive and features authentic, home-cooked Lebanese dishes. Highly recommend giving this place a try!
Lebanese sandwiches aren't better anywhere in NYC. The food is plenty full for the price. Drinks are standard soda. The seating is comfortable and the place is cozy . The staff is from another world (not actually they are from Lebanon), they are very welcoming and generous, making the visit very amazing
What a fantastic place! I highly recommend it. They welcome you with a warm smile such a lovely family business! The food is amazing, full of authentic Lebanese flavors, and reminded me of home. The dish i ordered in this picture is stuffed Zucchini ( authentic Lebanese dish) it is zucchini stuffed with a great mix of rice/ meet/ spices)
Maybe we ate there on a bad day (9/3/25), but for all the talk of generous portions and tasty food, we experienced the opposite. We both LOVE this cuisine and were looking forward to it. Taste was decent, but lacking. Portions were VERY small. $45 for 2 average-sized adults and I needed to stop for pizza after we left. And eating from take-out containers IN the restaurant really takes away from the atmosphere.
Food was very bland. The chicken shawarma tasted like minced chicken with lemon and no other flavor. Baba ganoush had no smoky flavour. Overall do not recommend.
