I stopped by this steakhouse unexpectedly last night, and it turned out to be a great decision. The atmosphere was welcoming, the place was well-organized, and everything felt just right from the moment I arrived. A special highlight of the evening was Suzana, the bartender. Her kindness, charm, and professionalism truly stood out. She has a wonderful way of making guests feel comfortable and welcome, and our short conversation turned into a genuinely lovely encounter. Service like that makes a real difference and leaves a lasting impression. Highly recommended for anyone looking for great service, a pleasant atmosphere, and an excellent overall experience.

Last night, after finishing a long day of work with our moving company, we went to this steakhouse for dinner, and everything was absolutely perfect. From the food to the atmosphere, everything was well-organized and enjoyable. What impressed me the most was the kindness and charm of Suzana. Her warm attitude, professionalism, and genuine smile made the whole experience even more special. It was truly a pleasure meeting her, and that lovely interaction made our evening unforgettable. Highly recommended — great food, excellent service, and a wonderful overall experience.

The service was impeccable but relaxed and friendly. I like this combo. It didn't feel so stuffy that I'd get a presumptive nasty look if I didn't place for in the right position. This was a place to relax and eat delicious steak. The bar seemed a little less knowledgeable on certain drinks but I love that they worked hard to accommodate me and my colleague. The mushroom soup was top-tier. Creamy, full of umami, and perfect to keep you warm on a cool day. The calamari was cooked right. Someone in the kitchen knows what they are doing. I think they blanched the calamari for the perfect amount of time before frying. I am fussy with the saltiness of the breading and the chewiness. They got it right here. The bacon appetizer was so thick that it felt a bit more like a pork chop and there were certain bites that felt all fat because of that thickness. The Empire filet for two was cooked to perfection. Well-aged, succulent, with a simple yet perfectly executed crust. Each bite melted into your mouth. The house steak sauce was a pleasant, sweet and tangy flavor that complemented the full flavor of the steak. The apple crumble was a treat. I would use their recipe if they shared it with me! It was not cloyingly sweetn which allowed the flavor of the apples to triumph as the star. We were there talking business for four hours and not once did we feel unattended to or constantly questioned or eavesdropped. They did their job well and read the table. I will be back!

The moment you step in it’s a different dimension. It’s a perfection of hospitality and service and food. The manager Gio and the waiters Allen and Dino were amazing and there for us. The Emperor steak for 2 was a perfection a mix of Chateu Briand and the Sirloin cut on a nice sizzling plate. The wine selection is out of this world, they have every kind of region and type of wine. Visiting this restaurant was a real pleasure. The desserts were absolutely delicious, fresh, and perfectly balanced — a true treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. I would especially like to highlight the bartender Katarina — extremely kind, friendly, and professional. She prepared fantastic cocktails, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service, atmosphere, and overall quality are highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

An outstanding steak house that truly exceeds expectations. The atmosphere is amazing – beautifully designed and very welcoming from the moment you walk in. The food is excellent, with perfectly cooked, juicy steaks full of flavor and generous portions. A special mention goes to the bartender, who are not only beautiful but also incredibly friendly, professional, and always smiling, making the whole experience even better. The service is top-notch, everything runs smoothly, and you really feel taken care of. A stunning place with fantastic food and great vibes – highly recommended and definitely a place I’ll be coming back to.

We came from Europe for New Year. i cant say it was good , it was AMAZING!!!! I cant decide between stuff and food what was better. The guys were so kind, every 5 minutes they were around us if we need anything. I dont know if is boss or manager, but the man called Giovani was so kind and nice to us, we felt really welcomed! I wish we are staying more, our recommendation 100%!!!! Food is delicious, porterhouse for 3 was great, and baked patetos and creamed spinach, and cocktails and moctails as well. Place is beautiful 👏👏👏

Empire Steak House NYC is fantastic! The steaks are tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is elegant, the staff is very friendly , and the managers were truly the best welcoming, caring, and making sure every detail was perfect.Ideal for romantic dinners or celebrating something special. My boyfriend and I were on vacation in NYC for our anniversary and we really wanted a steak dinner to celebrate. After looking at some options my boyfriend decided on Empire Steak House, and I am so glad he did! I've personally never been to such a fancy restaurant, and this place blew us both away. The service was top-notch, waiters were constantly refilling our glasses, and they even served us our food since we ordered some sides to share. The restaurant itself is impeccable. They have a less formal area and then they have the dinner area which was just stunning. The food was amazing, some of the best steak I've ever had. I still have yet to try a place that beats this steak house. My boyfriend paid around $300 with tip, and we both agreed it was worth every penny.

Such a beautiful place for dinner, here in NYC! I’ve had the best New York cheesecake here, best cocktails and best food! Service here was excellent, the manager Giorgio made sure everything was perfect, Katarina, the bartender gave the best energy, being so professional and making the best Hugo Spritz! Well visiting New York City, my son and I decided to stop at this steakhouse for dinner. I really enjoyed my experience from the time I entered. The host was very kind and brought us to our table. The server was very kind and friendly and helped us select what we wanted to order. Everything was extremely delicious. My son had ordered his steak, medium rare and it came out perfectly. The lobster bisque was delicious. The steak was very thick but perfectly cooked. They have a very wide range of wine to choose from. I also enjoyed the decor and ambience of the restaurant.

The staff was warm, attentive, and flawless in timing — never hovering, but always there at the perfect moment. Every detail was thought of, from drink refills arriving before I noticed my glass was low, to the server remembering small preferences I mentioned only once. It felt like they weren’t just serving a meal, but creating an experience. The steak itself was phenomenal: perfectly seared, rich in flavor, and melt-in-your-mouth tender. The sides and wine pairings only elevated it further, but honestly, it was the service that made the night unforgettable. In a city full of incredible restaurants, this place manages to stand above the rest. Without question, it was the best dining experience I’ve had in New York — and I will absolutely be back.

Empire Steakhouse in Midtown is truly outstanding! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing every dish was cooked to perfection, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The steaks in particular were incredible, tender, and full of rich taste. It was an amazing experience. We went for Restaurant Week, and the manager Giorgio really showcased just how amazing he was at managing the restaurant. One of our waiters, Elvis, was also especially attentive to our needs. We’ve been to various restaurants (even Michelin starred) within NYC, and this one will remain memorable. We’ll definitely be back (even outside of Restaurant Week)!

The restaurant is located in the Midtown(East side) section of Manhattan. It was formerly constructed to be an opera house and later was used for musical performances. Celebrities including the Desi Arnaz orchestra performed here during this period. It was completely renovated and is currently a stunning establishment. They prepare primarily American cuisine specializing in steak. Soups, salads, appetizers, entrees, sides, desserts, wine and beverages are available. I celebrated my brother's birthday and he order a bone-in ribeye steak. I and my sister-in-law ordered filet mignon. The calamari, mac and cheese and creamed spinach enhanced the meal. We finished by indulging in an apple pie dessert similar to a strudel. The food, service and location were excellent. Everything was well-prepared and flavorful.
